Chapter Thirteen
Synchronization Complete
I immediately sat up as I felt major pain erupting from my back and my head. It was pushing its way out of my shoulder blades. I could feel it! I took off my shirt and stumbled towards my mirror. There were feathery looking things coming out of my shoulder blades! Suddenly I fell to my knees in agony as I covered my mouth and screamed in pain while the feathery looking things erupted from my shoulder blades! Tears came streaming down my face as I panted and looked at my white wings that were dripping in blood. Wings!
I gasped and sat frozen in terror. The wings were heavy, long, and terrifying. I grabbed my bed and pulled myself up only to fall back down again due to the weight of my wings.
"Naruto lunch is ready," my mother shouted as I heard walking towards my bedroom.
I quickly got on my hands and knees and crawled to my bedroom door while my wings knocked down stuff in my bedroom. I reached up and locked my bedroom door just in time as my mother tried turning the doorknob.
"Sweetie open the door," my mother said as I remained quiet. My wings made a feathery cushion for my head as I leaned against the bedroom door.
I quickly covered my mouth as a searing pain ripped through my head! And just like the pain came it went away leaving nothing but just odd whispers.
"Please God let me ace this final exam,"
"Please make my parents like my boyfriend,"
"Please let my mom agree on letting me wear booty shorts,"
Where were these whispers coming from? And who were saying them? And how am I supposed to get rid of these wings? If my parents see them they'll think that I'm a freak and will have me sent to the zoo. What will Kiba and Ino think of me? I buried my face into my hands as I cried while my wings wrapped itself around me and held me.
