Setting: Lunar Orbit
For the first time, the inhabitants of Earth saw the moon shine very in a brighter light than the sun. The humans on the Earth at night watched in amazement as the Moon shone. Oblivious of the humans, the Birt'vuli race had just seen the most nightmarish thing they have seen. They had incinerated and obliterated the Atasians forever from time. In other words, they are extinct. The other species would probably justify it as karma or retribution. However for the Birt'vuli race who considered defeat by most alien species to be turned into slaves.
"A-001, the battlefield has been reduced to ashes. The ices on the Poles are beginning to thaw." I-003, an intelligence officer told A-001.
A-001 sighed while looking at lingering eyes of his colleagues, "We'll invade Earth"
"Sir, we require more resources. We cannot invade the Earth in one galactic day!" I-003 told him.
A-002 took over and helped with A-001, "Land on the Moon. We still can wait for a few galactic days."
"We can target places where we could invade the planet." A-001 told them, "Research on those sites immediately!"
Z-099 came close to him and A-001 looked at him with a sigh. Both of us are going to get executed…
Setting: Chicago
Julie and Ben woke up as the sunlight streamed from the window. They looked around trying to figure themselves out where they were. The US Marines came in to check up to the team.
"How goes it?" the Marine asked.
"Where are Gwen and Kevin?"
The Marine sighed, "Kevin is still in coma, if that's what being lifeless is. Gwen is not here. We've not seen her since we evacuated from Bellwood."
Julie asked, "Where are we exactly?"
"Chicago, Illinois and we are at a hotel" the Marine replied, "If you guys need anything, tell us."
After the Marines left, Ben's face was lingered with sadness. Gwen was probably out to find a way to save Kevin. Bellwood is wrecked by an alien infestation. He needs to find a way to prepare against the aliens if they invade. Where the hell are all the Plumbers?
"Ben, look at this" Julie told him as she watched the news channel. It showed photographs of Bellwood.
"Sir, do you have any idea of what had happened to Bellwood?" the correspondent asked one of the evacuees.
He looked at the correspondent and angrily yelled, "WHAT I KNOW, IS MY WIFE IS DEAD! EVERYONE IN MY FAMILY IS DEAD. BEN TENNYSON, I'LL MURDER YOU IF YOU EVER SHOW YOUR FACE!"
"Where was Ben Tennyson of this sight of madness?" the correspondent said, "Will Bellwood recover from this disaster? What is the international stance on this tragic event? With more tension in the world, will this break our whole world yet again? This is Sally Weston from USNN."
Julie switched the channels. She came upon the Harangue Nation. Ben and Julie knew that William would fire scathing criticisms which had no base on evidence at all (mostly). Ben quickly took popcorn and sat beside Julie on the sofa.
Will Harangue spoke, "This is an extremely tragic day for the Americans. A certain town was infested by alien matter from outer space. The government has managed to call upon mass evacuations from nearby towns. They will lock up the towns and cities nearby in order to prevent the infestation. No one is currently helping them fight against this mess. We would have prevented this incident if only Ben Tennyson had saved our asses today. I'M TALKING TO YOU, BEN 10!"
"Ben Tennyson has left Bellwood and has not bothered to return to it. Where is our favorite vigilante superhero when needed? His murderous behavior, blind fury that resulted in destruction of various buildings and most of all, his foolhardiness have resulted in deaths of people in Bellwood. Way to go, hero!"
Ben quickly took the remote and threw it at the screen. Julie looked at him in shock while he began to stuff himself with popcorn. Suddenly, they heard screams. Ben opened the door only to find a Marine impaled by Thumbskull, Zombozo's henchman with a sword.
Ben transformed into Chromastone. He quickly shot beams of energy at Thumbskull. He remains unharmed by the blasts much to Ben's chagrin. He charged at him and wrestled him to the ground. Thumbskull punched the alien in the eye. Chromastone was caught off-guard.
"Thumbskull is best!" Thumbskull shouted and threw the alien away to the corridor. Chromastone groaned trying to regain his balance while two more appeared out of nowhere.
"HELLO!" the first figure shouted, obviously Zombozo who laughed madly, "I'm ZOMBOZO! Prepare to have your last laugh, Benjamin."
Zombozo took out an innocent looking whistle. He put it up on his lips and began to blow it. A peculiar and unnerving sound was heard instead of a toot. At first, time seemingly halt. Chromastone founded himself unable to move. He struggled. The initial reaction after the time began to continue was an extremely ear-splitting boom that exploded around Chromastone causing the hotel's ceilings to crumble.
"Knock, knock." Zombozo said before quickly de-morphing Ben and grabbing him to drug him. Ben tried to struggle but quickly succumbed to the drug and fell unconscious. Julie quickly grabbed her laser gun that Ben had given her in her backpack.
Julie cheekily shot the laser gun at Thumbskull, Zombozo and Frightwig. It hit Frightwig who angrily looked at her. Zombozo gave Frightwig a nod allowing her to proceed to attack her. Julie fired more shots at Frightwig, each missing.
Impulsively, Julie took her tennis racket and hit her in the head before her hair could make any move out of it. Frightwig was still conscious and grabbed Julie tying her up with her hair.
"Damn" Julie muttered. She did not struggle with Frightwig's capture and just waited for something to happen.
"What do you want from us?" she asked the trio who looked at her.
Zombozo laughed, "That's classified my girl. I'm not a villain that gives away their plans very easily."
