Today was Kage's first day of freshmen year since at her last school their was 19 disappearances and a note written in blood that said,

'Shadow Kitten strikes again'

Sure she got questioned like every other person at the school that day and was in for questioning longer than most people because her name is Kage Koneko which almost latterly stands for shadow kitten. But since their was no proof she did it, she was discharged.

So now here the now 17 year old honyou was walking to her new school. For some reason she felt self conscious about her looks because she felt like she was going to meet someone very important.

It wasn't that Kage was ugly, more like the opposite really; she had dark brown hair a inch or two past her shoulders with purple eyes. She was about 5'10 and skinny, with small sharp claw like nails and two dark brown wolves like ears with black tips and a fluffy brown tail with a black tip. She was actually really cute but since she is a half breed is hated by many.

'I bet even other half demons would hate me if they found out I'm shadow kitten' after that thought came a smirk came to her soft pink lips as she took the last turn and entered the school yard.

As she was walking she felt a bunch of eyes on her but strangely one particular stare stood out to her. She considered turning around and finding out how was making her feel…like…so

'Good? Happy? I don't know who cares.'

After her inner questioning was over she went to pick up her schedule and locker number from the front office.

Once that was taking care of she went to her locker and put her backpack in and grabbed her stuff she needs for her first two periods, science and math…oh joy.

When she arrived to her science class the teacher told her to sit next to a boy named Kyo by the window in the back. When Kage saw him her breath hitched before she regained her composure and sat next to the good looking boy.

Kyo had about waist length black hair and two pointed dog ears atop his head. He had dark ruby colored eyes that felt like lava melting you with just a tiny glance. Judging by his clothing it was obvious he was most likely a punk like her. Kage was awaken from her starring when Kyo chuckled and smirked at her,

"Like what you see babe?"
