They all walked in and looked around for the British airways desk. Once they had found it, they waited 10 minutes before checking in. "Hey, let's sit here and wait!" said Willow as she plonked herself in the middle of the floor, with her huge suitcase. Willow then opened her hand luggage bag and began feasting upon her chicken, bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich. (Chicken BLT). Kt caught a glimpse of a huge drink in her bag. "Willow? What is that?" asked Kt. "Uh, this is a full three litre bottle of cola, so if you don't mind!" said Willow as she pulled it out of her bag. "Omg? Willow, you can't take that one the plane!" shouted Kt. "Yes that is definitely over 100ml" laughed Patricia. "I don't see any signs saying that I can't" said Willow. "What about, that sign?" asked Amber as she pointed to the massive, bold, red sign reading 'NO LIQUIDS OVER 100 MILLILITRES ALLOWED PAST SECURITY!' "Ooh yeah, I better drink it quickly" said Willow as she unzipped her bag again and pulled it out. "What? Willow, what else have you got in there?" asked Patricia as she stared inside. "Well, if you must know, I have a corkscrew, a butter knife, sun tan lotion, microwaveable stew and a pair of scissors. Why did you ask?" asked Willow. "OMG!" everybody sighed. "You can't take a corkscrew, scissors or knifes past security either!" shouted Eddie. "Oh its ok wills!" said Alfie as he kissed her on the cheek. "Ok, what has amber missed now?" asked Amber as she broke it up. "Well, we are actually dating" said Willow as she looked up at ambers horrified face. "What? Have I really been gone away that long?" asked Amber as she stormed away to a lonely bench.
Willow was busy pouring out everything she shouldn't have into the bins. "So, babe, you excited?" asked Eddie as he playfully pushed Patricia. "No!" she said. "What, why?" asked Eddie. "Just joking" laughed Patricia. "Gosh, why do you two take everything so seriously?" asked Fabian. Mara had her head on Fabians shoulder. "Fabian, what time is it?" asked Mara. "Uh, only 5 minutes until we can check in" said Fabian. "Ok" said Mara as she sat with her back straight and got her textbook out. Fabian stared at her. "What? I'm only studying" said Mara. "But we have 4 minutes" said Eddie. "So, there's always enough time for a good study" said Mara. "So where am I? Ah, the Einstein's special theory of relativity, which he clearly got wrong as physicists at the CERN laboratory in Geneva announced in September that they had detected a neutrino traveling faster than the speed of light" said Mara. "You know all that of by heart do you?" asked Eddie. "Yes, who doesn't?" asked Mara. "Wow, this is going to be a long week" said Eddie. "Ooh, check-in desk open" squealed Willow as she jumped up and down, trying to hide her fear. "Omg, I'm so scared" she said as she fell into Alfie's arms. Amber just watched her ex-boyfriend play around with his new one as she stood up, grabbed her suitcase and marched over to the check-in desk. "So, who's sitting next to me on the plane?" asked Amber. "I will" said Willow as she jumped up and down and stood next to Amber, grabbing Alfie too. "We can all sit in a three" said Willow. "Yay" said Amber and Alfie sarcastically, as they both had blank faces. "I'm sitting next to yacker" said Eddie. "Hey, would you stop calling me that?" moaned Patricia. "I'm sitting next to Mara" said Fabian as he linked arms with his girlfriend. "Yeah, me, Fabian, joy and Kt can all sit together" Said Mara. "Great, let's just ask if we can get seats next to each other first" said Eddie. They all queued in the waiting line. "So, you haven't got anything else in your bag have you?" asked Patricia. "No, what do you expect me to have, pure gold or something?" she asked.
"Pure gold?" whispered Eddie. "What?" asked Patricia, Eddie then zipped open his hand luggage. Straight away the cup fell out; he grabbed it before it hit the ground. "What? Eddie, you brought that?" asked Patricia. "Well, I wasn't thinking about security" said Eddie. "Urgh, let's ask Mara, she's smart" said Patricia. "Asked her what?" asked Eddie. "Uh, Mara, do you think that the security systems over there would let you take through, I don't know, a huge cup made of pure gold?" asked Patricia. "What? You brought the cup of ankh?" asked Jerome. "Well, I didn't think that they would stop me" said Eddie. "Ok, as long as it's in your hand luggage, were good just for now, until we go through security" said Mara. "Ok" said Eddie.
After check-in, the children all gathered around some chairs. Fabian then peered through the window to see a plan that had just taken off. He gulped and stared at the window in fear. "Right, what are we going to do?" asked Eddie. "There's not really much that we can do, we can't exactly leave it here and we can't exactly take the cup of eternity, an ancient Egyptian treasure, stolen from a pharaohs tomb, through security can we?" asked Joy. "Actually we can" said Mara. "What?" asked Eddie, "I mean I'm not 100% sure that we won't get it taken away but, it's worth a try, isn't it?" asked Mara. "I guess because either way the cups getting taken away" said Amber. "Ok, let's just say that it's a trophy, a really, really special, heavy, gold trophy that I won playing chess, or something" said Alfie. "Right, but what if they then asked us to play a game of chess with them?" asked Jerome. "We send Joy and Mara in to play, because they are definitely the best chessers" said Amber. They then all walked over to security and line up, putting their loose items and electronic/metal devices in the blue trays and walking down, also placing their bags in the trays. They then watched their things go through the massive machines. They all walked through the metal detectors one by one, when. 'BEEP, BEEP, BEEP!' The metal detectors screeched.
