Kuroko had been sticking with Akashi ever since he recalled almost everything. He didn't want to be abandoned again and did everything he could so that he can be by his side. Akashi felt happy but at the same time, he feels bad for Kuroko. It seems as though his inferior complex is back.

His former team members were guilty when Kuroko spoke to them. Kise bawled his eyes out (a little dramatic) and others hung their heads down in shame. Still, the one that couldn't face Kuroko most was Akashi. He who caused the most pain was forgiven easily and he was given the love that was lost in the years.

He loved Kuroko wholeheartedly. He wants to confess badly. Kuroko truly enjoyed himself now. He just hopes that Kuroko will accept him. He thinks the time is almost right. He has been being more affectionate towards the pale boy in the recent days (he's over caring towards Kuroko).

They are walking hand in hand, ignoring the stares they've gotten from the people. Akashi glared at the passerby's before giving his attention to Kuroko. They both don't voice it out but their actions conveyed their love. It's a wonder how they even managed this far without breaking the boundaries that they call friends.

Suddenly, Kise halted and turned around, almost causing Aomine and Midorima to bang into him.

"Hey, what's your problem!" Aomine shouted. Jeez, leave it to Kise to cause accidents for them.

"I just thought of a really great idea! Wanna hear it?" He said cheerfully.

Kuroko chuckled. Kise-kun is like a dog. He can see a tail wagging behind the blond and dog ears appearing on his head. Kuroko snorted.

Akashi looked at Kuroko skeptically before waving it off.

"How about a trip to the beach? It's been a long time since we've hung out together and I really miss you guys." He moped.

It was a good idea and it will be a good time for some bonding between them again, just like how they did in the past. Kuroko smiled and tugged on Akashi when he noticed the other's frown. Noticing the puppy-eyes look in the teal-haired boy, Akashi sighed before giving in, knowing full well what Kuroko wants. He was going to decline the offer; until he saw his beloved doing that to him.

"I think that's a good idea." Akashi sighed then smirked. "Ryota will be preparing everything then."

Kise was taken aback when Akashi announced that he has to do all the work and whined. When Kise tried to protest, Akashi beat him to it. "My words are final." That shut Kise up.

Kuroko is really looking forward to the trip. It's been years since he has gone on a leisure trip together with his friends. He is able to let himself loose and throw away all his worries and just enjoy the day.

From: Akashichi/Akachin/Akashi/Demon

Message: All of you will be planning the trip together. I too will be included in the discussion. I know you guys are eager for me to confess to Tetsuya but do assist me in the planning.i doubt Tetsuya would appreciate if I did something overboard. Ryota, I do not wish to see any excessive PDA of you and Daiki in public it hurts my eyes.

Kise squealed when he saw the message from Akashi that he rolled himself in the blanket and made weird noises beside Aomine, who couldn't control his laughter.

"He said it hurts his eyes. Can you believe it?!" He wheezed, wiping his tears away. "If what we do hurts his eyes, then what they do doesn't?"

Kise punched Aomine on his shoulder. "They're cute. Both so small, cute I say. Akashicchi is such an idiot." The blond said dreamily. He adores both Akashi and Kuroko's relationship but it's too fragile that it will break very easily.

"That hurts." He pushed Kise away as he rolled away in his blanket. Kise struggled a little before getting free from the blanket's hold. He suddenly jumped, scaring Aomine.

"Kurokocchi will definitely love what Akashicchi has planned." Kise cheered. "I will make sure of it!"

Everything will be fine. It will go well, as always. Akashi gave a deep sigh. He's nervous. He couldn't help but to think of what awaits him when he gives Kuroko his surprise that he worked hard on during the past few days, planning together with his former teammates. Aomine had sought help from them too when he wanted to have a steady relationship with Kise.

Akashi grabbed Kuroko's hand.

"Are you ready to go?" He said, smiling.

"Not even a greeting first, Akashi-kun?" He said, smiling. It's a wonderful weather, he thinks. "Yes, let's go or else Midorima-kun will be grumbling about punctuality."

They took a train to their destination before meeting up with the others. Murasakibara was loaded with food (as always and half of them are already gone), Aomine was actually half asleep leaning against the wall with a frown on his face while girls were hoarding Kise and Midorima who looks like he was reluctant to be here looking embarrassed by his friends.

"Oh they're here already." Aomine said, stretching his back making a 'pop' sound.

"You've got drool on your face, Aomine-kun." Kuroko said and took a napkin before wiping it off the tanned male.

"Alright, less talking, more walking. It'll be quite some time before we reach the beach house." Cold chills were sent down their spines. It was clear that Akashi was jealous.

It was sunset by the time they reached the beach house. They stocked everything they needed for the few days stay. The bright looking house is filled with the summer feel. Baby blue walls and tinge of whites dabbed in it, creating what it is like a sky. The interior is also quite big, enough for rowdy people to play games.

After all the walking, all of them just seem to flop onto the huge couch. It has indeed been a while since they've worked out. Perhaps a run on the sandy beach the next morning to build up their stamina will be great. Running on the sandy area is different from running on normal pavements and roads. It will be harder to run, which is a perfect place to build up their stamina.

Now all they want to do is rest. Kuroko was the first to jump head first onto the couch, closing his eyes trying to rest his tired body. It has been long since he actually walked that far and it took quite a toll on his body. Aomine rolled off the couch and dropped on the floor when Midorima sat down, tilting the side. He let out a moan instead of grumbling when the cold touched his back. All the items he carried today had put quite a strain on his back.

Murasakibara had potato crumbs on the side of his lips as he tried to eat while having his eyes closed. Akashi could only sigh at them. How weak. He too, is feeling quite exhausted when he had to walk such a distance to get here. But, this; this is the place where both he and Kuroko had their time together. Perhaps some would say 're-enacting the scene' but, this is something he would like to do as it brings the both of them deep bonds and memories.

Akashi went through in his head about the following day's activities. He really needed the help of the GoM to make it successful. If he wanted to do it alone, it will be so mushy that he would cringe doing it. But alas, with the help of his former teammates, he finally got a plan for it. Even though the GoM may not look like it but, they are a very understanding and romantic bunch of people. Well, if you count watching sappy dramas as having experience.

"Go to your rooms and rest. We'll be having a fun-filled day tomorrow. Good night." Akashi said before picking the sleeping Kuroko from the couch, careful not to arouse him. He chuckled when Kuroko had a crease on his forehead. He set Kuroko on the bed before uttering a 'goodnight' and heading back to his own allocated room. There are enough rooms for everyone to sleep in.

For the first time in forever, Akashi felt a sense of belonging. He had a feeling that everything's going to be alright.

When the morning light seeped in through the translucent curtains, he grumbled as he got up, clearly not liking to sleep in brightly lit areas. He washed up before heading down to where everyone would be. He can faintly hear the noise coming from the kitchen as he walked down the stair. He could only hope that the kitchen wouldn't be destroyed.

What surprised him was how everyone seems to be actually coordinating and making breakfast with joy, smiles obviously etched onto their faces. He realized that he was the last to be up. Usually, he would be one of the first early-risers. He checked the time. It seems like they purposely woke up earlier than me.

"What a beautiful weather." He said, making them turn their heads in surprise.

"Good morning, Akashi-kun/Akashicchi/Akashi/Akachin." They greeted in unison.

Akashi took a peek at the food they were making. Sunny side ups. Not bad. His stomach decided to grumble and he could've sworn that everyone heard it.

"Just a minute, Akashi-kun. Breakfast will be ready soon." Kuroko said as he tried hard not to laugh. How embarrassing.

They sat around the round table, eating together. It's been a while since they've done it. Kuroko enjoys eating with everyone. They are all so chatty and expressive with their actions. It makes them feel really close to one another. This is his favourite. Kuroko closed his eyes as he enjoyed his meal.

"This is really good!" Aomine complimented.

"Kurochin should cook more." Murasakibara commented, drooling at the sight of the huge second serving given to him.

It was his first time cooking for others aside himself. Cooking is essential in his life especially when his parents are rarely home and eating take-outs are unhealthy for a growing boy. Never once had he heard a praise from others who had tried his cooking. He only thought that his food was average since it was self-taught.

"I would appreciate it if Tetsuya could make me lunch every single day." Akashi said while chewing on his food. The food Tetsuya makes is much, much better than the food at home. This was filled with care and love for the members.

He beamed with happiness when the praises came pouring in. This is what a family is like. This is how being thought of feels like. This is what he couldn't have at home. These people; his teammates, are his real family.

"Thank you everyone. You all will never know how much this means to me. I would gladly help to make your lunches whenever I am free." The teal hair boy said, eyes shining with tears. He is getting very sentimental. He yearned for this, and he is getting it now.

He opened his eyes.

He didn't realize that a tear had slipped down his cheeks, landing on his plate. He was receiving weird stares. Ah. "Sorry, I just reminisced, that's all. Don't mind me." He quickly dismissed it before hastily eating his food to ease the uneasiness.

Akashi could only smile at Kuroko's attempt to get away from the stares. Kuroko still shifted uncomfortably on his seat. "Please, stop staring at me."

Everyone immediately ate their food when they felt the temperature dip. It isn't nice to have the devil staring at you.

Ah what an abrupt ending. Thank you for reading this and I hope you will enjoy the update! I apologise for not elaborating much on the feelings of others when Kuroko regained his memories. Also... the next chapter will be the last chapter; which means the story will be ending. With Kuroko remembering everything, I shan't drag the story any further. I will leave all my thanks in the next chapter. Even so, thank you.
