Chapter 5: Guardian Vs Titans

The three Titans stared at their counterpart bewildered. Speedy leaned to his right, trying to whispered to Superboy without taking eyes off of the golden suit, "Well. What do you think? Friend or foe?"

"Can't tell. I'd say foe for now but... He looks like the thing Luthor described earlier." Superboy whispered back, also with his eyes concentrated on the same golden suit.

Speedy raised an unimpressed eyebrow, "You think he's that "Guardian" person."

"He fits the description."

"What do you think KF?" Speedy whispered a little louder. But his friend wasn't besides Superboy, they both looked around and saw him over near Angel's unconscious body, with two fingers on her neck checking for a pulse and also searching her body for any visible bleeding. "Never mind."

Superboy turned round, grabbing the archer as well to make sure he got a private conversation, "Why don't you keep an eye on Wykkyd for a moment. Let me try and talk with whoever this is."

The red archer seethed through his teeth and he cringed his face, "I don't know, Conner. You aren't exactly the best negotiator."

"I'm not going to try and negotiate. I'm going over to get some answers." The Kryptonian looked seriously at the red Titan.

The red archer looked still looked unsure as he poked his head back up and saw the golden suit with arms folded looking over at Kid Flash still checking the health of the former HIVE student. The white dotted eyes of the grey area of the helmet looked back over to Speedy who immediately ducked back down pretending like he couldn't see him. "Fine go over and talk to him. Just don't say anything you'll regret."

Superboy rolled his eyes and stood up and turned around, "I may not be good at this but if he tries anything, it'll be the worst mistake he's ever made." He started gliding off to talk to the only one conscious wearing a cape.

Dennis saw behind his helmet the floating muscular figure heading towards him. He still kept his arms folded as he refused to move from his position.

Inside himself he felt time slowly go by as the nigh-invincible Titan came closer and closer towards him. He thought to himself how badly this could end if he made any other slight error. Like how quickly Superboy could end him without blinking, or how the PM would take this if a fight broke out.

Inside, he was trembling.

But he couldn't show this on the outside.

The black shirt Titan stopped and landed right in-front of him and eyed the slightly smaller metal suited opponent for a good while.

"You going to just stare at me or-" The slightly robotic voice came out from Guardian.

"No... You just fit the description of the person who saved Lex Luthor earlier today." Superboy said still eyeing the metal suit down.

"Oh yeah. That was me." The Guardian's white dots showed an emotionless face.

Superboy stopped eyeing the Guardian down and looked straight at the round white eyes of the Guardian's helmet with a glare that could kill, "Oh good, you're the Guardian. Now you can answer me a question. Why do you keep appearing and disrupting the work that we do? "

Dennis eyes rolled, but the Guardian's white dots didn't know how to register eye rolling, so they just kept staring at Superboy, "I am not doing this for any reason other than it is my job." The Guardian finally unfolded his arms and shook his head.

"I might be a thorn in your side. But all that has happened is that we have just been able to cross paths from time-to-time. Although you are right when pointing out that it not pleasing to either of us."

Superboy tilted his head to the side as his eyes caught the sight of the large bo staff appear over his shoulder, and from a little hole in his cape "What's with the weapons?"

Guardian still kept his eyes focused on the casual clothed hero, "It looks like I might be needed for a while because of what has happened here. Be prepared just in case."

"In case of what?"

"In case of another attack."

"Then why chuck the flash-bang at us?" Superboy said looking back at the white eyes.

"It is my job to resolve this situation. And you lot have came here and screwed up everything." Guardian's eyebrow's sloped downwards, "Besides. Would you hand them over to me if I went up and asked you "Oh, could you be so kind as to let me interrogate these criminals and I'll hand them back over to you when I'm done"?" He sarcastically said.

"Better than blinding us." Superboy growled.

"Hey look! I have power here granted by the Prime Minister and I was put in command of a highly trained sniper unit. You just came along and fucked up everything! " Guardian growled back. "Now I've wasted enough time as it is. Get out of here now or else-"

"Or else what? Or else we are going to be stopped by a walking jewellery store. Be realistic, if you pick a fight with us, we'll send you back to precious Prime Minster in pieces.." The Kryptonian clone unknowingly started slowly advancing, causing Guardian to step backwards.

"Watch it before you're going to do something you'll regret!"

"Is that a threat?" Superboy snarled as he moved his hand forward and pushed back on the Guardian's armour causing him to lose balance and stumble backwards a few steps.

Dennis was past his limit now.

He could feel all the anger inside of him causing an influx of aura to him. He was losing control of his aura and his grip on everything which he stood for and abided by. He didn't raise his face back up to Superboy but his white dots showed an angered, teeth-gritting face. Both fists tightened and his voice growled and sounded no-longer robotic, but it wasn't his normal voice either, it was filled of echoes and had no accent on the end of it, "Do. Not. Come. Any. Closer."

Superboy floated over, oblivious to the Guardian's anger and pushed him a little softer this time, but still strong enough to cause Guardian to still stumble.

"That's. It." Guardian grumbled to himself as he pressed a button on the side of his left arm which opened up a slot to his left ring finger witched glowed green inside. Guardian held out his hand to Superboy, showing him the silver ring encrusted with a radiant green stone. "I've heard that these things don't go well with your type." His voice echoed.

Superboy looked away and covered his face as he started frantically backing away from the Guardian, who only walked towards and put more pressure on the already vulnerable Kryptonian. "A nice little thing isn't it? I got it as a present for Mr. Luthor." Guardian taunted as he closed the distance between the two.

Speedy looked up after he checked Wykkyd's body to see how Conner was coping and he raised an eyebrow when Conner started backing off from the Guardian. "What the hell? Why is he backing... Oh shit!"

His eyes caught the glimpse of the green glow in-front of Conner's body. At this point he was on his knees as Guardian stopped advancing and stood over him with a visible blue glow behind his white dotted eyes and the grey of the mask. But what his eyes were drawn to was the silver ring still being shown right in-front of his face.

"Kryptonite!" Speedy shouted, catching the attention of Kid Flash. Realising what was happening, he instantly raced over and grabbed the arm of the Guardian trying to push it away from his friend.

Dennis struggled as the yellow speedster had got both arms around his own as he tried to push him off. He swiftly looked at the downed Superboy, panting and trying to regain his senses. It wouldn't last long, it was vital he kept the pressure on him and remove Kid Flash from his arm. With his stronger right arm free he swung it at his opponent's shoulder.

At the same time, Speedy drew an steel-tipped arrow from his sheath and aimed it at the kryptonite ring. "Careful Wally." He mumbled to himself as he released the arrow and it stayed on track to its target.

But Guardian's arm diverted in a split second and caught the arrow just a millisecond before it hit the ring, and possibly going straight through his undefended finger. Kid Flash had stopped tugging on his arm and just stared at the arrow that could have nearly hit him in amazement. Guardian held the arrow in-front of his face as he looked over to the red archer and snapped it in two down the middle of the shaft.

Guardian let the bottom part of the shaft of the arrow drop to the ground, but kept the steel-tipped side of it in his grasp. He drew his arm back with it pointing at his yellow adversary's shoulder, who managed to move forward as the golden suit swung its arm at him.

He swung again at the Kid Flash, this time moving to his left revealing a giant fist, which slammed right into the metal man's forehead, causing him to stumble back a few steps trying to regain his balance.

Wally looked to his left as Conner was still panting slightly as he slouched, "You okay?" Wally reached over as he helped his muscular friend stand up straight.

"I'm fine. It just takes quite a bit out of me." The black shirted clone gasped.

"So how do we deal with this now?" Roy spoke up running up to the two other Titans.

"I so want to take him down, he nearly stabbed me. Twice!" Wally took up the traditional fighting pose of one fist higher up, protecting his face, and the other fist kept lower to protect his body.

"You want him? Get in line." Conner grinned for the first time in a while.

"This is the last time you ever negotiate." Speedy shook his head.

"Don't care, just as long as I get some payback."

Dennis regained his balance and saw the red archer run up and join the other two Titans. He shook his head and snapped out of his angered self. He looked at the Titans and could hear their chat between them. He raised an eyebrow at them.

Dennis was confused: What the hell are they talking about? Wasn't I talking to Superboy? What just happened there?

All he could remember at what just happened was that Superboy came over to talk with him, they got into a heated-up argument and he got shoved by him, causing him to stumble and...

Now everything came back: his eyes burning up with the blue aura, the warning, the second push, the kryptonite ring, his advance, Kid Flash and his arm, the arrow, the steel-tip aimed for the shoulder, the dodge, the fist and now here. He realised that there was no way out of this situation .

"Great going Dennis." He muttered to himself. He looked through the metal mask and still saw the glowing essence of the kryptonite from his left ring finger. He pressed the same button again and closed the compartment.

Seeing the three Titans taking up fighting stances, he reluctantly grabbed the bo staff and pulled it from the magnet it was held on. Bringing it around the front, he quickly caught a glimpse of the flash from the titanium twirl round the mahogany wood of the staff. He looked back up to the three Titans and tried to figure out how he would execute his attacks on them.

Speedy, Kid Flash, then Superboy. Or maybe the other way around. Or- "Ah, fuck it." Guardian took up his own stance of the staff pointing straight forward away from his body, whilst his right hand was behind his left to control the weapon. This was it. Time to prove his worth, he thought as a yellow bolt came his way.

Through all the chatter that went on between the three, Wally kept his eye on his adversary, see

ing the Guardian take up his fighting position and saw it as his cue, "He's taking up a stance, that's good enough for me." Wally broke the talk between the other two as he charged, at full-pelt straight towards Guardian. "KF!" Speedy shouted at the yellow flash.

The split-second before he reached the Guardian, Wally raised his fist as he closed down on Guardian.

Though Guardian was ready.

He quickly changed position, making it as quick as a trained soldier instead of a metahuman, as the punch landed straight into the staff, now vertically blocking him,. Kid Flash let his guard down for a moment after the punch. That moment was he needed, using his own speed to his advantage, Guardian swiftly swung the staff down at the top of Kid Flash's head and then swiping it to the left, knocking Kid Flash to the ground, who quickly rolled back up.

Superboy flew in after him as Speedy drew and fired a steel-tipped arrow, and two more in rapid succession.

Guardian saw all three arrows and Superboy coming in at him and knew he would be hit by at least one of them without giving away his speed. At full-speed, he swung his staff straight up and connecting right with Superboy's chin causing him to spin back on impact. Straight after Dennis felt a piercing feeling in his chest, as he looked down he saw a steel-tipped arrow gone straight through his armour and pierce his skin in between his rib-cages'. Realising the other arrows were about to hit him, he brought his staff horizontally across himself as he blocked the other arrow just a second before hitting him, and tilting the staff diagonally right, he knocking the third arrow to the side.

Superboy, regaining his balance in the air slammed straight back down into the Guardian, causing him to lose his staff, and rose up again with the Guardian trapped in his arms into the air and stopped rising when their height matched theirs to the embassy's roof. Letting go of the golden armoured man, he bunched a fist and ploughed it straight into Guardian's grey face, slamming him straight into the ground much faster and causing the ground to crack around him.

Slowly descending, but stopping whilst still in the air. Superboy looked down at Guardian and the dent he made into the road. "You've started a fight you can't win." He shouted down to his opponent.

"Oh... I beg to...differ." Guardian's metallic voice spoke back as he still recovered from the blow. He raised an arm, and his palm out flat; aiming it at the Kryptonian.

"What are you doing?"

What appeared to be blue wind formed from the palm, and started to take the form of a sphere. It grew quickly until it looked about the same size as a basketball.

"What the he-" Superboy tried finishing the sentence, but the sphere released it self from Guardian's palm and rocketed towards and slammed and exploded in Superboy's face; making him fall to the ground.

"OK? We both just the same thing, right?" Kid Flash elbowed Speedy to get confirmation on what just happened.

Speedy aimed the bow back up, "Golden guy made a blue ball. Blue ball proceeded to smack Conner in the face and immediately blow up?"

"Good. I'm not hallucinating." Wally moved back into a running position, "Cover my back will ya?"

Roy watched as a yellow blur left and closed his eyes as a tiny shock-wave of air hitting him. He brought the bow back up and took another arrow from the quiver, "Where would you be without me Wally?"

Dennis started getting up from the road and saw Superboy down on his back after the aura had knocked him down. He looked down at his hands through the helmet and decided that he should charge up another one when he comes back up.

But he felt something smack against the right side of the helmet and causing him to sway to the left, where he was instantly hit again from the other side. The second he was able to look up he saw the yellow trial that must be Kid Flash leave one side of his eye then suddenly appearing right up in his white-dotted face, where he proceeded to hit the face again and again and again, faster and faster until it looked like a million fists where hitting Guardian at once.

After one final hit Guardian fell to the ground once again. Inside the suit Dennis felt as if a bulldozer ran him over and went back over him just for the sake of it. His vision was blurred, his helmet must be dented and the interface inside had powered down. If it weren't for his helmet, he'd would be out cold. If he were a normal human, no doubt in his mind he would be dead.

Wally walked over slowly and stood over him, being very wary of a surprise from the golden man. He kept his eyes focused on him and he heard the silent fast footsteps come closer to him, "Is he-"

"K. O'd. Yeah." Looking to his side for a split-second he saw the the black shirt, which made him grin, "You'll never hear the end of this." His voice sounded so cocky it sounded as if his speech was virtually grinning itself.

Superboy tried to ignore the comment as he knelt down again and focused on the still dotted eyes that looked like they were staring into nothingness. He looked at the amount of dents that were caused by the rapid-fire punches, "Do your hands hurt?" He questioned as he studied the suit more.

"Of course they do. I was punching metal how do you think it felt?" Wally rapidly shook his hands and gave his friend a look that could have easily replaced what he said.

"Just give me a sec. Once I'm done, I'll see if you have any injuries-"

"Once I'm done with you, you'll both have plenty!" Guardian got up to look at Superboy in the eyes as he quickly showed his hands out flat to him as two spheres quickly formed and shot out and connected with Superboy's chest and jaw, causing him to roll out from the impact.

Wally watched in confusion as his friend just got attacked again. In his head he wondered what it felt for Conner being hit by the spheres.

He snapped out of the confusion as his legs got swiped underneath him; causing him to hit his head off the road. He cursed himself as he placed his hand on the left side of his forehead where he felt the impact, he was sure it was bleeding but couldn't worry about it for the moment as he looked up and saw his opponent with his bo staff raised over his head ready to strike.

Just as he swung the staff connected with an arrow and Kid Flash rolled away from the weapon as it smashed the ground where he was. He kept on rolling as Guardian kept hitting the staff down on the ground in an effort to put him out.

Dennis raised the bo once again put this time felt as if he was punched on the back of the head. Turning around, another arrow headed straight towards him, but he created a small barrier of aura in-front of his face preventing him from further injury from the projectile. The second it hit the barrier, the tip popped out and a boxing glove came out from the arrow; one of Speedy's trick arrows, "Who even puts a boxing glove inside of an arrow." He mumbled to himself as he looked down and saw a second trick arrow.

Looking up, Kid Flash was at his face again, and quickly smacked away his staff. Before he had time to react, he was shoulder-barged by his counterpart; only causing him to go back a few paces. His suit and himself grinned, "Is that all the strength you can muster?"

Kid Flash returned his grin, "Strength isn't really my thing."

"Ah. Is that just small-talk for saying you're weak?"

"Fuck no. I could easily kick the shit out of you."

"Kick me? You can't even punch me without breaking bones in your hands!"

"Whatever, I'll still beat you into an inch of your life."

"Prove it, I dare you." Guardian's grin grew even wider.

Wally took up a pose, as did Guardian, and leaned back to charge in. He shot away from where he was standing and launched his fist like a rocket, but it was forced away in the last second. "Huh?" His hand was now to the left of the golden suit, and the Guardian's hand held onto his wrist.

"Can't be right." He threw his other fist at a breathtaking speed, but same result; fist being diverted by Guardian.

"No." He whispered to himself, as Guardian let go of both his fists. This time he waited a second before launching in, as he threw punch after punch after punch near the speed of sound. But no of them connected either. Guardian was keeping up and blocking every punch with his own hands at the same speed.

He stopped throwing punches. He couldn't believe it, "You have-"

"Super-speed, aye- I mean yeah." He laughed quietly.

Wally's hopes had just been shot down; he thought he was fighting a robot with access to kryptonite, not this thing that could shoot powerful blue spheres and have super-speed. Instead of a fight lasting about a minute, he got a fight against an opponent that could potentially giving all three of them a run for their money.

But he wasn't alone in this fight; as he caught a glimpse of a red archer launching another arrow.

The arrow stuck to the helmet of Guardian, "Huh?" A instantaneous blast propelled him forward. Wally saw an opening, and brought his arm out wide; close-lining Guardian.

For the split-second that he was in the air, Superboy had grabbed his legs and swung him like a hammer at the Olympics into the walls of the embassy.

Blasting off to get to him Conner had his fist at ready, and slammed his fist through the walls of the embassy; as Guardian's speed let him react quickly enough. And it also let him bring a very swift uppercut to Conner's chin. Guardian then proceeded to viciously kick his opponent in different styles from all the martial arts he's learnt.

After about the tenth kick, Guardian kicked out with a kick to the side, but Superboy grabbed it; and in a flash Guardian speedily brought out an aura sphere. But Conner decided to use heat vision on the sphere and in the process of doing so, he exploded it and blew him away, and shot Guardian into the wall of the embassy again.

Roy released another steel-tipped arrow, and this time Guardian had moved his head. Getting up, Kid Flash booted him in the stomach and various other places with his insanely fast legs. Dennis managed to start blocking some of them, and shot out his palm and hit the Flash's rib-cage.

It just left him and Speedy. He reached behind his cape and brought out his Benneli M1014 shotgun, so that he could play the archer at his own game.

"Oh shit!" Speedy whispered as he pounced away from the spot he was a second ago as the first shot fired. He started to pulled another arrow, but was charged into by Guardian; knocking him over. Guardian now toward over him as he looked up; the gold bounced off the sunlight, making it look he was staring at a shadow of a man with a shotgun in both hands.

He looked to the side and saw his bow; he reached his arm across to get it, only to have the metal foot crush his hand. Twisting his face in pain he kept one eye open and this time he saw the man in the suit come out of his shadow and pulled the shotgun closer to him; staring at him through the scope. His eyes darted around just looking for a way out, they stopped. "You wouldn't, would you?"

"Don't know. But if you make another fucking movement, I might have to-"

His gun was grabbed away by a hand and a fist flew into him; completely lifting him off his feet.

As he landed hard on the ground; he was lifted back off the ground, as Superboy held him by the arms as he was brought up to the red-glowing eyes glaring at him, waiting for him to move, "You wouldn't dare shoot him!"

"What makes-" He coughed in the suit, and feeling a massive pain in his neck, "What makes you say that?"

"Firstly, I'd burn two holes through your head. Secondly, imagine the reports of a dead Titan in the hands of the English."

Dennis' anger grew again. Superboy made the mistake of saying British rather than English; but it offended him more because of his boisterous nationalism. He hated being called English or British; it wasn't to say he hated England, he had family living there and liked many villages and cities in the country, he really did like going there for visits, but due to his Scottish nationality and the fact that he had a strong belief that he recognised England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland as separate countries, not as Great Britain. To Dennis, calling him English was probably one of the worst things you could say. He knows the amount of bad blood in him, but he knows that he is really just a sociable person just with some anger issues.

His anger caused an unstable feeling inside Dennis; as he felt an uncontrollable amount of aura was flowing to him, even causing the interface inside his suit to go static.

Without him knowing, a massive blast of aura of aura left both his hands and hit the Kryptonian clone's feet; dropping him and shutting his eyes because of the pain.

As he knelt down on one knee and saw Superboy in this state; he saw this as an opportunity as he opened up the slot to reveal the kryptonite ring, "Probably the only good thing those surges have ever done."

Guardian ran quickly and hit Conner in the face the ring again, and he kept on hitting him nearly breaking the sound barrier doing so.

Wally ran up to try to stop the beating as he tackled Guardian down, although he couldn't keep up with the momentum when they landed as Guardian quickly flipped over on top as he quickly pinned him down and brought a swift jab to his stomach, making him want to puke. He slowly got up and saw both Titans groaning and holding their injured parts of the body.

Roy stopped any further beatings by bringing the bow over the Guardian's neck as he dragged him away from Wally. He only got him a few feet from Wally as he managed to slip underneath the bow and swiping his legs from underneath him; making him to roll out from any further damage.

Conner was on him again he grabbed around the Guardian's waist he flew them both up into the air and kept going until they were the same height as the roof of the embassy. He then descended back down, head first, to the ground.

Guardian quickly vibrated his arm, and managed just in time to bring up a layer of aura only a few metres of the ground which hit Superboy singularly. He still hit the road but not head first.

Getting up he observed his whereabouts to get an idea of where each titan was.

Speedy was in-front of him in-front of the houses on Culross Street in a crouched position behind the weapon. His bow drawn with three fresh new arrows ready to shoot at Guardian again.

Kid Flash was to the left of him, keeping in his quick movement to his karate stance. It looked like he was slowing down a bit due to the hits he'd received, but it didn't look like he would be giving up on the fight yet.

And finally turning around to the embassy, Superboy was there in line with the gates arms crossed, staring right back at him as he slowly glided right to make a triangle surrounding him.

Guardian started to turn to each of them rapidly as he panicked on who would attack him first, but the Titans would rather if he made the first move. The white-dotted eyes started looking around the area as he seemed to be looking for a possible vantage point or something which could give him the edge.

The eyes stopped on the road just a footstep away from the embassy. The Titans looked at the ground too as they realised what he was staring at; his M1014, the one pulled away from him earlier.

Guardian's eyes stared at the Titans quickly one last time each and from their stern expressions, he knew that they saw what he saw.

Quickly rushing over and picking it up, it was snapped away again by Superboy, he also felt his arms being held against his back and struggled to get them free.

He snapped his head to both sides to see who was holding him, and saw the glimmer of a yellow arm.

The Kryptonian cracked his fingers before unleashing a strong but not too strong of an uppercut and a blow to the abdomen. He came in with a powerful jab only to have Guardian duck at the last second and Kid Flash to follow with his speed.

Guardian managed to wrestle his arms free and launched another sphere at Superboy. With him momentarily out-of-action he tried to run forward, but was being held back.

He then suddenly vaulted forward and tripped over the body of the Kryptonian. Getting straight back up he saw that his cape's magnets were pulled off the suit. Kid Flash stared at it before looking back up.

Guardian rushed straight back over and came in with a strong kick into Kid Flash's ribcage; making him drop the cape. He got hold of his arm put his other hand on the Titan's chest as he flipped him over at Superboy, who caught him as he slowly brought him to the ground.

But he went too slowly as a knee went crashing into his jaw. Stumbling back he saw Guardian picking up his cape; he was distracted, so he flew directly at him.

But there was no contact, he slowed down as he felt a soft material go over his face. Turning around the golden suited man came in with a flurry of fist and kicks before bringing his sword and swung it like a samurai as it connected with precision. It wasn't strong enough to cut Superboy, and he knew that, but it hurt.

That shouldn't be happening; the sword and the staff shouldn't do anything to him, he thought as dropped to knees and looked up.

Dennis mumbled to himself as his cape blew like a leaf as breeze kicked in. He brought the double-edged sword up again with one hand and it was smacked out of his hands by an arrow. "Fuck, I keep on forgetting about him." He looked round as another arrow came in. Dodging it with ease due to his speed.

He sped in at the archer again, as Speedy drew another arrow, and this time he didn't even aim it at him. It hit the ground a few feet in-front of him as it quickly turned to ice, a millisecond before Guardian reached him.

He slipped in it and lost his balance again, falling (head first) to the street as the ice ran out.

All three Titans regrouped again quickly as Guardian was on the ice. Speedy pulled another arrow out of his bow and a thought occurred in his head, "I've got an idea!"

"Be quick with it." Wally continued to stare at the golden guy lying on the ice.

"I'll shoot more arrows at him to his attention, I know you both can go fast-"

"What does that have to-"

"Listen Wally!" Speedy glared at him, "One of you take one side, and one of you take the other. Hit him hard and fast, he'll fall for sure."

"I don't know if my fists can take any-"

"Wally, no time to discuss." Guardian already started to regain his footing, "We can get them healed up once we return to the tower." No-one moved for a moment, "What are you doing? Move NOW!"

Guardian turned round to the screaming and saw Speedy alone, as he shot another arrow at him as it created a smoke screen around him, "Jesus," Mumbling to himself again, "How many arrows do you take with you?" He called across.

He didn't get a response, instead he got knocked by something, and once again fell to the street.

"Depends on the circumstance." He heard his voice again. "In this case, I usually overstock myself."

A yellow blur ran through the smoke, causing him to shoot aura into the thick grey clouds.

"I guess surrendering isn't an option for you is it?" Speedy called again.

Guardian closed his eyes to get a view of around him, "Not really. Why ask that anyway? I'll finish this fight soo- AIYA BASTARD!" The back of his head burned like hell-fire as he reopened his eyes and saw the suit's mainframe show a picture of massive heat spots on the back of his helmet.

"Let me guess... heat vision?" His voice got closer. "And to answer your question; you're outnumbered and out-gunned against opponents who do this sort of thing daily."

The outline of Kid Flash past him again, carrying the wind with him as it directed Guardian's jaw to end of Superboy's fist again. He was knocked straight out of the smoke, and into the arrows of Speedy.

Particle detonator arrows, forcing him forward again.

Dennis was on all fours as a knee to his already aching jaw came in from Kid Flash. Once he was on his back, Superboy had him pinned to the ground. Dennis stared through the helmet and looked at the red tint of the eyes of his adversary. He noticed another red come in from the side of his eye, "So, about that surrendering thing? What do you think?"

With his arms pinned to the side, and the Kryptonian's knees digging into the chest of the suit, he looked around for anything to help with the fight. He looked to the side and then looked straight back at the opposite direction, he didn't want to give away the fact that he saw his sword. "Hmm... I appreciate your offer but-"

He got a hold of the outer-rim of the aura surrounding the sword, with the little motion his fingers could do, the sword turned on the ground and pointed it to Superboy. He quickly motioned his fingers towards him as he let control of the aura surrounding his weapon, still making the sword fly and hit the Superman clone on the back of the head.

Closing his eyes due to the sudden pain, Dennis headbutted him and once one of his arms were free, he quickly shot aura out of it, blowing Conner off him. "-it just isn't the way I do this sort of thing." Dennis said finishing his reply as he got up.

Speedy shot another particle detonator arrow, but it blew up on the Guardian's aura shield harmlessly.

Behind the aura, the white dots showed a rather unimpressed face. An unimpressed face that was barged into his own aura by Kid Flash.

As the aura evaporated into the air, Speedy took a swing with his bow at the golden helmet, smashing the face inwards and damaging the helmet more than the actual bow.

Superboy quickly caught the stumbling Guardian and gave him two quick and fierce jabs before heat visioning the centre of the Guardian's eyes, where Dennis actually sees out of.

As the Guardian's was moaning and covering his face in agony, Conner leaned back. He waited until the Guardian stopped covering his eyes and released an almighty, seismic punch into the grey face of his opponent. Causing a shockwave with emanated from the hit; sending Guardian bolting away in mid-air through the top floor of the embassy's windows and possibly through the building as he heard several other crumbling noises as they each became more and more distant than the last.

Conner, overcome with relief, fell to the floor and sat down to get his breath back as he let the calm wind brush over his tired expression.

Wally stop running beside him, and also sat down next to the other red "S" wearing hero, "Jesus fucking Christ! Seemed a bit overkill don't you think?"

"What? He deserved it. In any case, I received far worse than you."

Speedy walked over, with his eyes firmly planted looking at gap in ceiling of the back of the first floor of the embassy, "He's right Conner." Swiping his hands over his head, he sighed, "Dick is going to kill us once he finds out."

"Kill you. Remember? How the hell would Grayson kill me-"

"Kryptonite? Magic?" Wally shook his hand in pain.

Conner felt like he wanted to say something back but he saw the obvious pain Wally was in. So he took hold of his hand. To his surprise, Wally vibrated out of his touch quickly, "Woahwoahwoahwoah... what the hell are you doing?!"

Conner looked scandalised and at the same time he wanted slap himself over this level of stupidity, "I thought you wanted to get your hands checked for broken bones?"

Wally turned bright red as he pulled his mask of his face, "Oh... yeah, sorry."

It was a while before anything happened as Conner looked at the extent of the damage to each hand in silence, making Wally a little bit nervous as he focused on Roy still staring at the damage done.

Conner was still wondering about what happened during the fight, as he cleared his throat and started to speak, "So, you know how I was shot earlier. Right?"

"Of course."

"Well, those bullets... they um... they... hurt. Like, actually hurt." His face also turned bright red out of embarrassment.

Roy finally looked at the other two, "Wasn't that because of the kryptonite he used?"

"Yeah, but its effects don't last for that long right? I mean they surely don't last more than a minute, right?" He stopped with the x-ray vision and looked at Roy when he said "right".

"I don't know. You can research it, if you want at the Tower." Roy looked back at the building in dismay. He still needed to question Wykkyd, Angel, and even some hostages. He sighed as he went started walking away from the building and turned round to check on Angel at the opposite end of the street.

...hnngh...

...

"...Ugh...ff...goddam..."

"Hhgnn... ah shit!" He re-opened his eyes from the blue he saw, just to see black.

He knew he was on the street facing down on it, still Dennis didn't feel like getting up just yet. He knew the extent of his injuries, so he waited for a moment for it all to kick in.

Whilst he waited for the kick, he saw that his mainframe was completely out, he would need to fix that soon to make sure that it would be ready for his later work.

SNAP!

"Huh?" Dennis heard the loud sharp sound, he didn't move thinking it was a figment of his imagination; so he concentrated in waiting for the kick to happen.

SNAP! SNAP! SNAP!

His eyes widened now, there is very few things he could think of that made that same sound. He was screwed. He knew the secret was no more. Not bothered by the pain, he scraped his head to the right and saw a cluster of people with different types of cameras: professional, and ones just from smartphones.

He also saw that the gate that kept them apart was dented inwards. He must have landed there, as he grudgingly looked to his left, he saw one of the guard boxes next to the embassy was nearly all destroyed, as his eyes trailed up to the massive hole created in the left side of the embassy.

He scraped his head back along to the ground where he was facing. With all the strength he could muster he placed one of his palms on the ground firmly, he was planning to get himself up. But the surges happened again.

The surge came as a surprise as it pushed him up so hard that it actually made him stand. He stumbled for a moment, but regained his balance by making the aura now run to his legs and forcefully giving himself the kick so that he could straight instead of giving himself a compound fracture.

He quickly using his aura went straight for the mainframe of his suit and quickly re-patched all the wiring, and fixed all the loose parts. He nodded as the inside of his suit lit up inside and the menu went online in-front of his eyes.

The menu already swiped itself away pretty quickly, to Dennis' confusion, but a transparent phone signal came up with "Thomson" underneath, making him growl in anger as he reluctantly accepted the call. He also changed the settings so that: his dotted face would freeze, and this conversation would not be broadcasted to the public just as an infuriated Nigel was brought on screen, "What the hell Dennis! A metahuman conflict the middle of a crisis. Has your mind been replaced with your balls?!"

Dennis closed his eyes, not wanting to hear the lecture, "I'm not in the mood! You would have done the exact same thing I did. So don't start with your shit right now! Or I fuckin' swear Nigel, I will change your molecules into heat by the time I'm done with you!" He growled as blood just ran into his mouth unknowingly.

Nigel was having none of it, "Listen here now!I am having none of your rubbish. You attacked a group that happened to be on the same side as us-"

"Get tae fuck, they attacked me you posh brat!" The heated argument now seamed like it just turned into a shouting match as both guys glared at each other through video.

"Dennis," The white haired agent's voice turned softer, in doing so made it more intimidating, "you will report in ASAP under orders of the Prime Minister to explain this...incident and you can expect-"

"Nigel read my lips." The fifteen year old levelled him off his own stern look, "You have no authority over me. Not through law or power." He waited a few seconds for it to sink and see the look on person on the other line deteriorate, "They started the fight here, I'll end it. By any means necessary" The black haired kid stressed over the small but important words, "And if the PM really wants me to stop, then he can call me himself... If I see a call coming in from anyone that isn't him, then you better hope to God you've finalised your will... Understand?" He dared himself to smirk as he saw agent's disgusted face, "Good. Guardian, out."

He undid the settings for his mask and began to use his aura to fix other broken bones in his body as he shook his head, trying to get his median length hair back its normal left parting at his forehead, "He was pissing me off anyway."

It took a few more long moments (filled with snaps of light and shouts as some newspaper photographers were taking their pictures for tomorrow's front page story) until he felt able to go back after them.

Inside the suit, Dennis started taking deep breaths as he decided on how to approach it this time. It didn't take too long to think of a plan as he was trained, and read up extensively on tactical fighting and warfare. Though, for metahuman targets his tactics would probably have a different outcome.

But his ego and pride decided that it was better than just letting them get away.

All set, Dennis went into a running position. He looked back one last time to the public and the millisecond he took his eye off them, he created a small, but insanely loud boom causing the public looking at him go into a panic.

When the panic died down and the people looked back to the street, the golden man was no where to be seen.

"Fuck!"

"Yeah, sorry Wally but with broken, dislocated, and sprained fingers, Robin will unlikely give you any form action for a while." Speedy said coming back over keeping the handcuffed former HIVE members hands tied behind their backs.

"OK. We'll interrogate these two at the tower, and we're good to go. Conner, call for our evac." The archer ordered.

Conner got his T-Comp open and typed in a few numbers-

-BLAM!

The device shattered into chunks of plastic and tiny pieces of the circuit board. As soon as the T-Comp was destroyed Speedy had ordered both criminals to lie down facing the ground, with another arrow drawn at the ready, aimed at the rooftops.

"What the hell!" Superboy shouted looking for the shooter. "You don't think the men inside have already woken up do you?"

"Not a chance!" Kid Flash shook his head quickly, being wary for the next shot. "You've hit them hard enough to knock them out cold for a couple of hours... In fact I think you may have killed a few of them-"

"That doesn't matter right now!" The archer shouted, still looking for the shooter, "It may be reinforcements for Wykkyd and Angel. So we better keep 'em covered. Set up a triangle formation around them." The three of them quickly closed in on each other. They had their backs turned to one another and each had their own section to search for any hostile forces. It did give the two villains on the ground a chance to attack, but considering who they were up against, they dared not move.

A few eerily quiet moments passed.

Speedy quickly put his bow back over his shoulder and put the arrow back in its quiver, as he quickly got out one of his back-up smaller crossbows and his T-Comp. He never kept his eyes off the tip of the arrow as he typed in the numbers on his Comp.

-BLAM!

Another shot caused the device to explode in his hands. Speedy dropped the broken Comp and held his right hand, trying to comfort the immediate pain he felt from some of the material broken off; cutting him, or burning his skin on contact.

As the other two tried to see what happened, Speedy shrugged them off, "Arrgh... I'm fine. Did you catch anything?"

The second he finished that a golden blur slammed into Superboy from the side, making him slide back with the wind it left behind.

Superboy gritted his teeth, mostly at himself for letting the attack happen. The other two looked at him with eyes that showed signs of paranoia, "I'm good. KF didn't you see anything?"

"I was too busy with Speedy." Kid Flash began to grow a bit edgy as they all began looking around again, "You don't suppose that he managed to get up from the punch?"

Before anybody could answer Superboy was again swept away by another blur this time with more force as he had to roll back out of it. Just as he got back up, the blur yet again hit him from behind, sending him soaring a few metres and making him slide of the street.

Kid Flash looked like he was going to help him out, but his fellow Titan punched the ground hard enough that they could feel from where they where standing.

"That. Is. It!" Superboy went straight up into the air, giving him a further field of view.

He stayed up there; looking down for the attacker (which he suspected was that golden piece of garbage). He was undisturbed for nearly half a minute as a blue sphere rocketed towards him from out of nowhere. Quickly he used his heat vision the explode the ball, but with it being so close to his face; he fell back down the ground.

Kid Flash started running around in a circle quickly; making a mini cyclone which slowed down the descent enough for Superboy finish the landing himself.

"Thanks KF." The Kryptonian said as the cyclone stopped and Kid appeared right next to him.

"Don't mention it."

Speedy rejoined them a few second later, picking out some of the broken bits of the T-Comp that lodged into his skin, "Well? See anything?"

Superboy shook his head, "Except the blue ball? Nothing unsual."

"Miss me?" An all to familiar robotic-like voice called from behind them.

The three Titans all groaned as they turned round simultaneously to see Guardian standing there. Arms folded and with a raised dotted eyebrow.

Kid Flash swiped his hands down his face in frustration, "You just don't give up do you?"

"When it comes to this, no. Never." Guardian levelled his stare with the same stare Superboy was making.

"I'll make you regret that, and the rest of your decision about attacking us." Superboy started walking forward in a way that showed off his physique.

"You attacked me first" Guardian mumbled to himself shrugging, and walked forward to his opponent in the same way, "'Mon then tough guy. Stop holding your dick in your hand and actually try to throw a decent punch."

"Only if you don't stop being a little pussy by chucking those annoying as fuck spheres." The Kryptonian said as the gap between them began to close.

Just as the Sun began to fade from the London skies in the early autumn day, the two were now head-to-head at each other once again, with Superboy looking down at the small combatant.

Superboy cracked his fingers in his hand, "Right back where we started."

"Don't get too emotional." Inside of his head, Dennis remembered earlier about how he thought that easily Superboy could kill him. He felt proud that he actually was holding his ground against one of the most powerful people on the planet.

"I won't."

Superboy leaned back, as did Guardian as the second round began to start.

Back with Speedy and Kid Flash, the archer could not believe what he was seeing, "I swear if we come out worse than him..."

The explosive fist hit the shield of aura just on time, creating another devastating shockwave, nearly knocking down the two other Titans. Superboy kept on pummelling away at the shield, hit after hit no success came; not even a crack showed.

Out of breath, he stopped but Guardian used that to his advantage by moulding the shield back up into a sphere and shot it out like a bullet, hitting him in the guts. With him doubled over in pain, he got the kryptonite back out and shoved it right in his face again.

Dropping to his knees, two arrows came straight at him, making Guardian quickly sidestep and looked straight at the archer putting away two crossbow and getting his regular bow out. Grinning, he moved towards him but was grabbed into a headlock by Kid Flash.

Amidst all the action and fighting, Kyd Wykkyd had got himself into a position where he would be able to get his hands out in-front of him.

Once his hands were out in-front of him, he quickly made sure nobody was paying attention and got up, reached over and picked up his friend Angel off the ground. She (like him) was tired from all the injuries they had, but she had come off worse.

He made sure they weren't looking once again as he began creating a portal from behind them. Which consumed them in a second.

Kyd Wykkyd had dared to grin as the portal closed. The ringleaders, unguarded were gone in a flash.

Seeing the red archer drawing an arrow, Guardian decided to use a cheap tactic and kicked his opponent in the balls, making yellow clad hero screaming silently and letting go almost instantly.

Speedy launched the arrow at the head of the metal man, but he ducked and pulled out his two Magnums. Seeing the pistols he quickly reached into his dwindling in number quiver (not even checking to see which type of arrow he pulled out). The second he got a feel on one of the shafts he drew it quickly, but he accidentally drew another arrow with him and just decided to go with it and placed the arrows into position as the golden fighter came in closer.

The arrows fired (both steel-tipped), and so did the .44's. One of the bullets and the arrows missed their targets narrowly, but the other two struck each other in the air and made them spin widely to the side before landing on the street.

A similar scenario kept on going for several other shots as each fighter ducked, weaved, and shot for their survival.

Speedy reached for another arrow for the tenth time, but this time found that his quiver was nearly empty, but nonetheless drew his what might be his final steel-tipped arrow.

Guardian decided that the bow needed to be destroyed if he wanted the bowman out. If he got rid of the bow, he would quickly put Speedy out. To do so, he decided he needed extra accuracy; he clipped the Magnums back to his waist, and got out his Barrett .50 Cal. from behind. After getting it out, he rolled forward and got to his knees. Looking down the sight at the same time as Speedy, he took a second to get into focus as Speedy let go of the arrow.

The second the arrow left, he fired.

The bullet and arrow hit each other in mid-air, but instead of colliding and spinning off to the side, the 50. Cal. bullet passed straight through the tip and it continued onward and broke through the bow, and passed through that and slammed into the shoulder of Speedy.

Not what Guardian wanted at all.

The archer was blown off his feet due to the force of the bullet, and he screamed in total pain like nothing he had felt before. He was losing blood rapidly and in large amounts, which started draining his skin from all its colour, and as the archer cried in the extreme condition he was in, he started to think that he was going to die.

Kid Flash saw the entire thing, "SPEEDY!" He got back up on his feet and ignored his pain; thinking that it was nothing compared to what his friend was feeling. He growled like an animal, staring at his victim that shot his friend and launched straight at him and smashed his side into him.

Guardian was sliding backwards on the street as Kid Flash came at him again with everything he had: swift punches, deadly kicks, and even some risky headbutts seeking revenge for his friend (and bravely disregarding his own pain).

Inside Dennis was getting frustrated that the beating was continuing and that he wasn't being able to stop him. He focused in, and as the flurry of limbs hit him, he grabbed Kid Flash's left arm extremely quickly and held it off to the side.

Kid Flash was determined to not stop the attack and as his body was leaning to the right, he shot out with his right fist, but it was also caught in a similar fashion and held off to the opposite side as well.

Guardian already noticed the vibrations that Kid Flash was making to get out, and decided to stop a further attack. He jumped back with the arms still crossed and used the momentum to slam an almighty headbutt into the skull of Kid Flash. Guardian swore he heard a crack as he connected.

Kid Flash fell back to the street limp and knocked out cold. The screaming had died down from Speedy who was still clutching the wound with a black top and had topless Superboy with him seeing extent of the damage of the wound, who kept a wary eye on Kid Flash throughout his attack.

When he saw him going out cold, he was left speechless and made his mind up that he was going to try his hardest to break this golden tin man into a million pieces, "Speedy, keep that wound closed. I won't be too long, I swear on my life." He whispered, getting up he eyed down his adversary once again, "You're not going to die. You're a Titan, you will get through this."

The Kryptonian now started to float back up into the air, looking down on the gold energy user.

Guardian saw Superboy heading upwards and decided to follow him; he used his aura to make a platform big enough to stand on underneath and he started floating up to join his adversary in the air.

When bare-chested Superboy saw what the Guardian was doing he started shaking his head in disgust, "Now that's just unimpressive." He commented to himself.

Both of them were now about as high off the ground as the height of the embassy was. They restarted their staring match until Guardian stopped after a while and began walking with the platform moving with him.

Conner cracked a fist and shouted something incoherent before flying straight at Guardian.

Dennis saw the man flying at him through the screen of the suit, reacting fast enough to pull out his Benneli M1014 (which he pulled off the street earlier with the staff and sword, when he attacked Superboy using his super-speed) and shot the Kryptonian in the face forcing him back.

But it wasn't enough to do much else as clone of the Man of Steel broke through the pain barrier. Seeing Guardian putting his shotgun back, he got a good hit to the temple of Guardian and connected it with grabbing the metal helmet and smashing his knee into it over and over again; losing count of how many times he hit the head until Guardian launched a smaller sphere at point blank range.

Guardian started using his incredible speed and aura ability to start launching sphere after sphere at Superboy. He stopped it once Superboy broke through the pain barrier again and shot an amazingly powerful heat vision at him.

The heat vision hit the chest of the metal man and forced him out of using his aura. He started running away quickly from the heat vision. Superboy tried catching up to Guardian but: he was too quick, it was putting a strain on his neck, and he needed to conserve his power.

Guardian stopped for a moment and charged back in with Superboy at the ready.

They both landed a hit to each other's face, and the kept on going as the both started launching a flurry of fists at each other at crazy speeds. Some of the blows landing, others either: hit another fist or their target avoided it.

After a few seconds, Guardian was getting the worse of the blows and stopped it by doing the same manoeuvre to Kid Flash and smashed his head into Superboy's before he could do more damage.

Superboy was still persevering through the attacks. He grabbed the Guardian by the neck, lifted him up and slammed him down on his own aura.

Guardian attempted to get back up, but Superboy got on top of him and started to repeatedly hit the golden man left, right, and centre.

To stop the beating Dennis let go of the aura platform beneath and both started falling, but after the brief sense of shock passed, Superboy started floating again.

When falling, Dennis made several platforms in which he jumped on and slid down to make him reach the ground safely. When he reached the street again, he looked back up at the shirtless teen. He started thinking that if he wanted to win, he would need something special to defeat him.

He put his hands together like what he would use for his normal aura spheres, this time though it a ball started forming until it reached a certain length then it stayed the same size as more blue energy started fading into it.

Superboy started firing his heat vision down on Guardian once he saw him charging up another attack. He kept using the red lasers to follow Guardian as he strafed, flipped and ducked to avoid the beams.

Dennis wasn't so sure that he'd be able to keep charging, he could easily multi-task when it came to his aura, though he had never used this attack on any mission he'd ever been on. So, he needed to make sure this wasn't a major risk in pulling out (well, more than it already was anyway).

Conner got impatient and in not hitting Guardian. He decided to end it here and now, he was going to completely wreck the machine even if he needed to take him into space to do so.

He pelted straight down at him.

Dennis got a bit nervous as Superboy started flying down like a bullet. He didn't know if he felt the aura was enough, but it had to do.

Conner came charging down so fast that he could already feel the metal.

Dennis saw Superboy only a few metres above him, and unleashed the aura.

When the aura came out Conner thought it was another sphere. His widened when he saw the blue energy extend.

The aura consumed Superboy from head-to-toe. It kept on extending and pushed him further back into the air.

Dennis was using "aura storm" as he used to call, but dropped the name because after a month he found it childish to name his attacks. The aura was anything was anything but childish though.

It was a massive blue laser that looked like it would be in a sci-fi film where the bad guys had a laser which would destroy a planet. And this laser was in the hands of one Scottish teenager.

He pushed the energy out of him until he felt a large strain which built on him, and became worse and worse. Until the point where it started to nearly hurt as much as the punch which sent him through the embassy did. He let go of the aura in him, and it already started to fade away into the air like it never existed.

Superboy was out cold as he started falling to the ground. Neither combatant could tell what height he fell from (Guardian was drained of energy and was tending to his injuries).

He hit the the road head first, which actually woke him up and caught the attention of Guardian. He looked up but couldn't keep his sight straight; dizziness from the energy loss.

Conner managed with the little strength he could to push himself off the cracked ground and look up at the metal man with a blank expression.

Dennis stared back with another blank expression; there was no need, they both believed that only one would come out of this fight alive. So without hesitation, but with lots of light-headedness he reached round to pull out one of his .44's. He shook the gun around as he tried to aim at the still figure of his muscular opponent.

The blurriness and the shaking was slowing down as-

-"Dennis, this has gone far enough. Cease immediately." The monitor in the inside of his helmet came to the video of the Prime Minister, who was the only person who didn't need the caller I.D in his suit. Whenever he needed him on duty, he could talk straight to him.

Dennis sighed as he lowered his gun, paused his facial expressions for the suit and stopped the microphone to the outside as he began the private conversation, "Almost done sir-"

-"You are already done. You were done the second all the hostiles were knocked unconscious. You will come in now for debriefing and reassignment." The PM said with a reasoning look, not looking for a fight but a civil talk.

"Reassignment? Already?!" Dennis said trying to be least disrespectful he could.

"I'm about go in and have a discussion with The President of The United States about the recent terrorist attacks and see if we can work together over a further metahuman threat."

Dennis brought all this equipment because he thought he would have a long lasting stand-off with the former HIVE members and their crew of mercenaries, he did not think it would be a joint operation between the two allies for other metahumans which could take months to finish, "...very well... I'll come in." Dennis wanted to rest but he believed that the Prime Minister was right about looking into this further.

The PM smiled a little bit, "Dennis, I swear I'll give you time off after this is done."

He looked at the Prime Minister's face for a second. He must of realised his tiredness in their meetings and his frustration coming from some missions. Whilst Dennis was a Scottish nationalist, he didn't hate the rest of Britain. He didn't hate the politicians in London as well (although he wouldn't mind giving one or two of them a slap), he saw that they were people just doing their job to the best of their ability and tried to get through the day. He felt bad sometimes for the Prime Minister, he saw that he was essentially a really nice guy, but one minor, minuscule slip-up and the media pounced on him in an instant, "Thank you sir."

The leader of the island nation's face turned his head to someone that came into the room and told them that people have arrived for the "emergency meeting", "Dennis I have to go. The meeting is about to start, come in and we'll have to talk about the latest crisis and see if you can do anything about it... Oh! I forgot to mention that I've given the order to the police and SAS to move in before I called. I said to them wait five minutes before going, so you have about four minutes left to do whatever you need to do there. I'll see you soon."

The call ended and when the screen showed reality again it also showed a standing Superboy who still was shaking a little bit in the legs.

He once again changed the voice and facial configuration before pulling out his other flash-bang, and put his hand on the pin, "It's your lucky day. I've been called in."

"We're not finished here." Superboy shouted.

"We'll finish the fight some other time. But I need to be going." Dennis was about to pull the pin but he decided to give him the information, "By the way, the police and SAS will have control of this area in about... three and a half minutes from now. You probably want to be out of here when that happens." He pulled the pin and chucked it towards the muscled teen.

After it bounced and rolled to his feet, it exploded and the white screen blinded his eyes again.

The pain was there for a split-second but the rest of the time Conner was just irritated and waiting to see again, dropping back down to one knee.

After a while his vision faded back in. He could see everything clearly again, except one thing. Guardian.

He was nowhere to be seen. The bastard ran away from the fight. To him that was cowardice. He remembered what he said though, "By the way, the police and SAS will have control of this area in about... three and a half minutes from now. You probably want to be out of here when that happens."

He didn't really wanted to get into even more trouble, and besides his friends were seriously injured so he needed to call for help.

He flew back over to Wally, who was the only one who still had his T-Comp. He found it and was relieved that the T-Comp was intact. He dialled in the code and after a two seconds of buzzing Robin's face came up, "Conner! We've been trying to call you guys for ages! Where have you been-"

"Dick, we need an evac right now! Roy's been shot and Wally's been knocked out, I need someone to pick us up immediately!"

Closing Notes: It has been a while since the last chapter. The majority of my time has been consumed by school-work, and it has been fucking ridiculous on how much work I've been given. So, sorry for not posting recently. The next chapter... I have no idea when it'll come out, I'll try and see if I can get it done during the Summer but... I can't promise anything. Thanks for reading and if you would pleased review, I'd be much obliged.
