RedDragon: Now, all of the strife, drama and battles had lead up to this moment. The fate of the world titers on this battles outcome. Braves warriors fight the demons from beyond and conclude a symphony of sadness on hope. Mega Man 11, will the world ever know peace?
Sage Wolf: Don't you think you are being over dramatic mate? This is just a story, not like it has any value.
RedDragon: (glares at Sage Wolf with pure red eyes)
AssassinK: (talks through gritted teeth in a whisper) Sage Wolf, shut up if you want to live.
The Dom: Finally at the end, I remember when we started this fic back in July. Now that was good times.
Father Chapa: Now let's see where this leads, a future of peace, a future of strife, or a new path to tomorrow.
RedDragon: Well said father, now to cut a new path to the future! Ikuze!
Chapter 16: Symphony of Destiny.
"Conquest! For your crimes against earth, humanity and robot kind, I Dragon Man will defeat you! One shall rise and one shall fall!" Rago shouted as Mega Man, Proto Man, and the Robot Masters Gathered behind him. The true fight had just begun. They all felt the aura emanating from Rago, it washed over them and felt his power heal them up and boost their powers. Rago sent a glare at Mechanical herald, this was going to be their final battle.
"You are truly a fool. Do you actually think you can defeat me and my Devil Machines? Your foolishness shall be your down fall." Conquest said. He sent a silent command to the Devil Machines. The three metal giants readied their weapons and trained them on the gathered robots before their master. Conquest then turned towards the heroes and said to them, "Now, DIE!"
But before Conquest could signal its servants to fire, Rago appeared in front of him and grabbed Conquest and transferred energy into both of them. "Sorry Conquest, but you are losing this war! Dragon Warp!" With that Rago and Conquest disappeared in a flash of light. Mega Man, Proto Man, the Robot Masters, and the Devil Machines then disappeared as well in the same way. This left Amy, Kaede and Wily alone and confused to what just happened. "Daddy, where did they go?" Amy asked her father. "I honestly don't know my dear."
LOCATION; Lunar Surface
The group then appeared on the calm lunar surface. Reacting the moon's atmosphere quickly, the life support system giving to the blue bomber and his crimson counterpart at the beginning of this odyssey sealed around their faces. The others were already adapted to the harsh lunar environment and did not need to have any bulky systems attached onto their persons. Quickly recovering from his mass teleportation, Rago spun his body around and stuck Conquest with his foot as he sent energy into it, "Dragon's Talon!" Conquest spun backwards from the blow and before it could regain its strength Rago sped behind him and swung his sword with a cry of, "Infinity Cutter!" His blade released a torrent of energy that ripped through the armor and the alien herald. "Damn you" Conquest stated, raising to his feet. It then raised its hand and stated loudly, "Devil Machines, destroy the fools!"
The three metal giants obeyed their master and charged at our heroes. Behemoth rocketed forward and started to unleash its missiles upon his targets. The heroes quickly dodged the incoming missiles and separated. Behemoth then readied its cannon to fire. But seeing an opening and acting upon it, Ben leapt up onto Behemoth's back and started to pull on the large cannon. "GRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!" and with a mighty roar, Ben ripped the cannon right off the metallic giants back and tossed it away. Ben then clenched his fist and brought it down on the spot where the cannon was, "Bash Collision!" Behemoth slopped to the ground, the damage was obliviously high. Using a missile launcher that was undamaged, the Devil Machine shot its last few missile, hoping to take some of its targets with it. Five missiles fired and rocketed towards the trio in their path. Stevan acting on instinct, stretched his hands forwards and grabbed to missile and threw them back towards their sender. One collided with another missile and exploded, catching the other two in the blast. The final missile continued its changed flight path towards Behemoth. Behemoth, in response, fired the blaster inside its mouth and destroyed the missile, but before the mouth could close a circular device flew into Behemoths blaster and detonated. Trent, bringing his hand back towards his face, pretended to wipe sweat from his helmet and with a smug look said, "Looks like my Trap Mine did it in. These glorified tank don't have that much intelligence do they."
"Not really, and they're supposed to be superior to use" Stevan replied.
"I hate snakes." Was all Altair could say as he kept dodging the attacks from the serpent like machine. The Leviathan made quick strikes at both him and Harris as the moved to avoid its jaws. The serpent seeing that it could not get them with just its jaws, raised its body and head into the air. The segmented armor then proceeded to move away from each other and revealed strange red ords. The orbs then started to glow intensely and fired lasers. When the lasers seem to overshoot their targets, they bent and raced towards the two Robot Masters. "Atomic Spin!" "Heavy Shade!" the lasers were stopped and repelled by the twin defensive moves. Seeing an opening, Harris grabbed Altair's hands and threw him at the metal beast. As he flew at the giant metal snake, Altair sent atomic energy into his hand for his signature attack, "Atomic Edge!" He slammed his deadly thrust into the forehead of Leviathan and then leapt from it into the air high above. Harris was already in front of the metal beast and at point blank range yelled, "Heavy Wrecker!" His deadly ball and chain flew into the body of the serpent and ripped a huge chunk of it right from its main body. Altair, spinning his body in mid flight launched a phoenix made of atomic energy from his hands, "Atomic Phoenix Flower!" The energy phoenix then separated into many smaller versions of itself and stuck Leviathan in multiple places, causing it to explode. Altair landed in a crouch and then stood up straight and said, "Well that went."
"Can't argue with you there" Harris reply checking his systems for any damage to himself.
"Well Chad, did you ever dreamed that we would ever be facing an enemy like this?" Shiro asked his partner without taking his eyes off of the demonic dragon. Bahamut stared at them with emotionless red eyes, waiting for an opening to attack.
"Actually, I did have a dream about this once, but I thought it was nothing" Chad replied with and obvious smirk. With a quick surge of chi energy, Chad disappeared from sight. Bahamut's sensors went into overdrive trying to find its target before he pick up the Robot Master's energy signature right behind it. "Chi Heaven Burst!" with that, seven intense orbs of chi energy in the formation of the big dipper shot out of his hands and collided with the Devil Machine. Bahamut let out a low, synopsized groan and proceeded to activate its Gatling guns. Chad and Shiro dodged and swerved to avoid the rapid fire bullets. "Saber Shift!" Shiro yelled and quickly transformed into his lion form. In this mode his speed and agility was greatly increase as he dodged the bullets and got close to the massive robot. Quickly shifting back, he summoned his Super Saber and preformed one of his signature move, "Saber Crescent Slash!" With that the familiar moon shaped energy slash headed towards Bahamut and slice its left arm off. Bahamut flew backwards to avoid more damage and proceeded to charge its twin blasters. Seeing this, Chad and Shiro charged their most powerful attacks as well. Then with a flash, the twin blasters unleashed their deadly lasers. "Chi Destroyer!" "Saber Vortex!" with that Chad and Shiro unleashed their most destructive attacks to counter the lasers. The blasts stayed in deadlock for several moments before the duo's blasts won over and headed straight for metallic dragon, colliding with it and causing it to exploded.
"That went well!" Chad said happily, a smile apparent under his lower face guard.
"Whatever man, maybe after this I could find myself a girlfriend." Shiro replied. Somewhere in space a girl that was hidden in shadows sneezed.
Rago readied himself in a fighting stance as he faced his foe. His two younger brothers were right by his side also prepared to attack. Conquest stood tall, still confident that it can win even if its foe was stronger than before. Raising its large blaster, Conquest fired shot after shot at the trio. Mega Man and Proto Man dash away towards the alien machine's sides. Rago stood in place and swung his sword at rapid speed, deflecting the shot away and then rushed forward. Seeing this as a signal, Mega Man and Proto Man fired their busters towards Conquest. Conquest, reacting fast, leapt upwards into the air. This turned out to be a mistake as Rago appeared in front of it and grabbing his left arm that held his sword with his right, Rago slashed at Conquest while roaring, "Dragon Ender Slash!" Conquest was thrown back as the energy released by the attack but it planted its feet on the lunar surface and recovered. Rago rushed forward and Conquest did the same, both raising their free fist and swung. What resulted was a cross counter the caused them to separate. Dashing forward Mega Man ran quickly towards Conquest and slid under it while firing his buster quickly. Getting up, Mega Man then kick Conquest towards Proto Man who knocked him down with his shield.
"Why won't you fools die!" Conquest yelled before firing a powerful shot from his cannon. Rago, who reappeared in front of his brothers, brought his fist forward as it retracted into his arm forming his Dragon Cannon before hitting the blast and firing his cannon at point blank range. "Sorry, but I'm not dying again, especially if I'm fighting you!" Rago said, clenching his hands. Conquest, feeling rage over take it, pour all of the energy it could into his cannon. But it didn't stop there as the energy cores of the destroyed Devil Machines flew into his cannon and powered it up even more. "Then, DISAPPEAR!" Conquest yell, firing a large blast towards the heroes. Mega Men felt a familiar power flow into him and knowing what to do he lifted his buster and yelled, "Giga Buster!" At the same time, Proto Man felt a new power enter him and acting quickly on it he used it, "Proto Laser!" The two power beams collided with the blast of negative energy. Rago concentrated, focusing the energy giving to him by his friends into his hand the vents on his arms started to expel extra energy as his hand started to glow. "This hand of mine shines with a great power! Its loud roar tells me to reach for victory!" His hand glowed with a bright light as an aura in the shape of a dragon formed around him. "Ultimate! Dragoon! FINGER!" with that Rago charged forward and cut through the colliding energies with his hand as he continued towards Conquest. "Impossible!" was all it could say as Rago's hand grasped onto its chest and started to destroy it. "Now you shall pay for the misdeeds you have done! Conquest, are shall be no more!" and with that he obliterated the alien herald and ended the battle.
"We did it!" was the unanimous cry as the other saw the vile robot's destruction.
"What now?" Mega Man asked finally feeling the strain from all of his battles.
"Now little brother, we go home." Rago replied with a smile.
LOCATION; Arcangel Base
General Iron, Dr. Light and Roll all waited patiently for the Saint Liberty to return. The just gotten word that the launch spires and all defense systems on Lunar Fortress were shut down. They also received a report that the crew of the St. Liberty had picked up Rock and Proto and were returning to base with some extra cargo. They heard a lound boom and looked up into the sky and saw the long awaited space craft coming in for a landind. Moments later the ship touched down and stopped along side of the gathered group. The side hatch opened and Rock and Proto, both out of their battle form, left the craft and greeted the people waiting for them.
"Rock, Proto, it good to see you back!" Thomas said with a relieved smile.
"It's good to be back Dad, and we brought a surprise." Rock said stepping away from the ships entrance. The group that got off next surprised Thomas and Domon, but left Roll very confused.
"Hey Dad, it's been a long time and General, you look well" Rago said as he exited, the others following with all of the Robot Masters' helmets removed.
"Rago, is that you?" Thomas asked, confused and surprised to see his first success finally on earth.
"Yeah, it's me and I have a lot to tell you" as he said this Amy hugged him from behind as she, Kaede, and Wily exited next.
"Looks like there is much to talk about" General Iron stated, ready for an explaination.
LOCATION; Deep Space
"So, our herald was destroyed. These earthlings must be tenacious if they were able to defeat our strongest model. Ensign, set a course for earth!" a dark, malicious voice said. Next to where the voice came from, a female figure was shrouded in shadows. 'Please,' she thought in silence, pleading to any higher power that would listen, 'someone, anyone, stop this mindless slaughter!'
