"Astrid!" Hiccup shouted from Toothlesses back. The blond glanced back at him and smirked. She laughed and turned around. She scanned the ground for a painted sheep."Ah ha!" She gestured for Stormfly to dive. The nadder happily agreed. The nadder stuck out her claws ready to sweep up the terrified sheep into her paws. But Toothless sped down and snatched up the sheep a few seconds before. Toothless swirled into the air with his tongue flapping in the wind. Toothless let go of the sheep and twisted around for Hiccup to grab it.
" Good job bud!" Hiccup rubbed the night fury on the back of the neck. Astrid's eyes widened in shock for a second. Then she relaxed and shook her head playfully." So that's how it's going to be. Stormfly, fetch!" The nadder laughed and flapped her wings following the night fury and rider into the clouds. Hiccup gasped and dove down back to the track. He smiled pretty proud of his quick escape."Ahh!" Meatluf came hurtling toward them and knocked the sheep out of Hiccup's grasp. Toothless snarled and shoved Meatlug away. "Lose something!" Astrid waved the sheep at Hiccup. The sheep did not like this, at all. Stormfly twisted over the basket and Astrid dropped the sheep in.
All the racers stopped for a second as the horn echoed through the track."The black sheep!" Astrid ordered Stormfly to get the black sheep."Yes!" They snatched the black sheep out of the air and turned around to avoid running into the twins. Snotlout growled and whipped out his hammer. Hookfang dove toward Astrid and Stormfly. Snotlout swung his hammer back. Astrid gasped and was ready to duck. But a blue flash knocked the hammer from Snotlout's hands. Wait, where was Snotlout? Astrid looked up to see Snotlout screaming at the top of his lungs are Toothless had his forearms wrapped around the mans chest.
"Now I know you weren't going to hit Astrid with that hammer." He laughed but was obviously very serious." Uh, no. Hookfang!" The Nightmare just stared blankly at his rider." Put me down!" Hiccup chuckled." Oh no." Snotlout whimpered." As you wish!" Hiccup nodded at Toothless who chuckled mischievously. He let go of Snotlout."Hookfang!" The Nightmare gasped and grapped Snotlout out of the air with his mouth. He landed and dropped Snotlout on the ground.
Hiccup and Toothless evened out at Astrid's level and watched her as she dropped the black sheep into her basket taking the game. Toothless pouted. Hiccup smiled and pat Toothless on the head as if to say it was okay. Stormfly hovered above the crowd pumping her fists in the air. Toothless landed by the cheifs chair. Astrid and Stormfly landed beside them." Nice try babe but I guess you just weren't good enough." Astrid gloated. Hiccup laughed sarcastically." Not good enough, eh? That's hysterical." Astrid nodded smirking. " Come here." Hiccup pulled Astrid in by the waist and kissed her on the lips. Toothless gagged then smiled slightly. Neither of the two cared that everybody was watching.
