KW: Do you really think you can beat me?

Jet: Oh I just don't know...I know so!

KW and Jet were sitting inside the cafeteria during their lunch break as they each were facing their own laptops in front of them. They were playing some kind strategy game of some sort. Sitting next to them both was Dark, tapping his finger on the table impatiently.

KW: ...

Dark: *Tapping finger* ...

Jet: ... *Smirks*

?: *Sound effect game explosion* WE ARE VICTORIOUS!

KW: Son of a biscuit! How the heck did you do that?! I had my ships ready to blow your station up!

Jet: It's all in the wrist, KW. All. In. The. Wrist.

Dark: Are you two done playing your Star Wars Empire at War game, or can we begin this chapter?

Both of them sweatdrop as they saw lots of the crew staring at them with confused looks, as well as their eyebrows raised.

KW: Hehe...yeah we can. I hope you all enjoy the eighteenth chapter we have provided for you all. We greatly hope you all can review this story if you have the time or perhaps give this a fave or follow us for more. And we thank you all for your constant views all this time and I greatly hope you all have a wonderful day/night. Disclaimer?

Disclaimer: KW does not own Pokemon, but if he did, he would perhaps change a majority of the recent seasons so far. However, he does own his OC characters.

Previously on Pokemon Adventures: After Kidan, Cealy, Sora and their new friend, Mr. Fugi had left the village, they had travelled through a cave in order to reach Fugi's hometown, Lavender. When they arrived, they all split away as Kidan and his friends headed for the Pokemon Center while Mr. Fugi went home. After hearing about the rumors and story of the main attraction, the Pokemon Tower, our heroes first headed to a place called the Pokemon House before heading to the tower. There they met Rena who had told them that Mr. Fugi himself owns the house himself. She had also explained a story about a baby Cubone that Mr. Fugi now raises had lost its Marowak mother by the group named Team Rocket, who had been hunting and capturing Pokemon against their will. Kidan's anger had built up afterwards and vowed that he ever sees them again, he would make them pay.

When they learned that the tower had been taken over by Team Rocket, as well as Agents Darek and Chelse, and that Mr. Fugi was being held hostage, Kidan and the gang volunteered to send Team Rocket out of Lavender Town and save Mr. Fugi themselves.

On that night, Kidan and the gang, who were now afraid, entered the tower to find Team Rocket and Mr. Fugi. But earlier before they went ot the tower, they were told that a 'ghost' was roaming around the tower holding a grudge against the Team Rocket members inside. Cautious as they could be, they met with a woman inside with her team of Ghastly, which Sora was givne one after learning of its trainer abandoning it. Later, they reached the second to last floor and suddenly foudn themselves facing the 'ghost'. Though afraid, Kidan, along with his Pokemon Char and Slice, battled the invinsible 'ghost' while Cealy and Sora were faced with one of the Rocket grunts on the next floor. Rena and Cubone had entered the tower after Cubone had fled the Pokemon House, only to discover that the 'ghost' was none other than the baby Cubone's mother, Marowak. Though for the last time, Cubone had at last reunited with its mother, even if it was for a short time.

After, when Team Rocket discovered that their grunt was taken out, Kidan and the others appeared and challenged them all to a five-on-five Pokemon battle. Though it was tough, Kidan and the gang were able to send Team Rocket and their grunts packing, beign able to save Mr. Fugi in the end.

The town hailed them all as heroes of Lavender and thanked them all for bringing back their stolen tower from them. Kidan also received Mr. Fugi's personal Poke' Flute, the same one he had played for them and on Snorlax bakc at the village. Hesitant, Kidan promised to take care of it as he and the others made their way to Saffron City, ready to gain their fourth badge.

Now, after a couple days of travelling and training, our heroes finally made it to Saffron City as they all decided to got to the Pokemon Center for some well needed rest for themselves and especially their Pokemon. They had been waiting for their Pokemon to heal as they all sat on some benches chatting and discussing random stuff, until Sora spoke up about their upcoming gym battle.

"So you guys have any idea who you'll use for this gym battle?" Sora asked them curiously.

"Not sure yet," Kidan shook his head. "Since I have no idea what kind of gym leader or specialty he or she uses, I'm stuck."

"Can't you use your PokeGear to look it up like we did with Brock?" Cealy asked him, wondering if he had used it since then.

"You know, I actually forgot about that," Kidan chuckled a bit embarrassed, leaving Cealy and Sora to just laugh whole-heartedly. Pulling out his PokeGear device, he looks up the next gym and reads what the information saids. "Well, according to the info guide, the Saffron City Gym Leader is known by a woman named Sabrina, who specializes in Psychic-type Pokemon."

"Psychic Pokemon, huh?" Sora said with a small grin. "That should be an interesting battle to go through."

"It saids here that she owns three of them, so we'll all have a three-on-three Pokemon battle too," Kidan explained to them as he read from the PokeGear. He then looks at them with a bit of nervousness on his face. "You know, I've never been in a three-on-three Pokemon battle before."

"Well you gotta remember," Cealy started to point out to him. "Brock and my cousin Misty only had two Pokemon each while Lt. Surge had only one in his team. So it shouldn't be a problem, considering that it will probably be more tougher when we move on."

"Yeah, I guess your right," Kidan chuckled lightly.

Just as he was about to say something, out of nowhere, something had suddenly appeared right in front of them, causing them all to jump in much suprise.

Standing in front of them was an Abra, who was just laughing at their sudden shocked faces that it did to them. This Abra looked like Kidan's Psych, but was a touched different. Kidan's Abra, or Psych, was a bit different color than the other Abras they known or seen before. This one had the regular yellow body color with a brown coating. Also, this Abra was a bit more energetic than Kidan's, much to everyone's disbelief.

"An Abra?" Kidan thought out loud as he and the other regained their composures.

"What's an Abra doing here?" Cealy wondered out loud.

"I'm not sure," Sora replied with a shrug as he and the others just stared at it as it continued to chuckle wit amusement.

"Abra! Abra! There you are!" A woman's voice called in the Pokemon Center.

Turning their attention to whoever had raised their voice was a young adult woman walking up to them and Abra. From what they have seen, she had very long purple hair that hanged down to her knees with bright purple eyes. She wore a bright red tight long sleeved shirt with long purple pants and red shoes. Around her waist was a yellow scarf that snugged around her. The look on her face was a concern one as she stared at Abra.

Abra, who apparently knows the woman, just cries out happily and suddenly uses the move, Teleport, vanishing itself in front of them all as it pops out in front of her, standing right in front of her like nothing had happened as it looked at her smiling.

"Abra, you scared us to death! Where have you been?" The woman asked still feeling concern.

"Abra, ab abra abra ab," Abra explained to her trainer. Out of all of them, it was only Sora who wasn't able to understand what was going on.

"What did that Abra say?" Sora whispered to Kidan and Cealy curiously.

"Abra said that it was just having some fun," Kidan shrugged with a simple smile. "I guess it was bored and decided to go out and do stuff."

"Abra, you know better not to run off without any of us to watch over you," the woman scolded calmly to her Pokemon.

"Abra," Abra sadly apologized to her, only causing the woman to sigh and smirked.

"Well, no harm done I guess. Just promise us you'll wait til' one of us goes with you? Your still too young to be out here anyway," the woman said to her Pokemon, which replied with a happy nod and hugged its trainer. That made her giggle. "Well, at least you weren't hurt."

She then looks over to Kidan and his friends. "I'm terribly sorry for all this. Abra just loves to meet new people, especially new comers here in Saffron City."

"No problem," Kidan shook his head, "it wasn't doing anything wrong. We had no problem with it, right guys?" He looked over as Cealy and Sora smiled and nodded in agreement, earning a sigh of relief from the woman.

"Well, that's good," the woman said holding a hand against her chest.

"By the way, my name is Kidan," Kidan said to her.

"I'm Cealy," she replied.

"And I'm Sora," Sora nodded with a smile.

"Nice to meet all of you. I'm Sabrina, and you have already met my Pokemon Abra," Sabrina bowed a little as Abra cried out happily.

The words 'Sabrina' caught all their attention. "Wait! Sabrina, as in Sabrina, the Saffron City Gym Leader?" Kidan asked her in suprise.

"The one and only," she giggled, causing them all to be more suprised.

"Huh...makes sense I guess," Sora shrugged earning a confuse expression from both Kidan and Cealy. "What? It makes sense cause she's a Psychic-type Pokemon expert. And since Abra is a Psychic Pokemon, it just makes it that much clearer."

"I take it that you kids are here to challenge my gym?" She asked them all, knowing what their answers would be.

"Sure are!" Kidan happily replied. "We already have three badges already and had just came from Lavender Town recently."

"We've been travelling for a few days now to get here," Cealy explained.

"Lavender Town?" Sabrina blinked once before something came up in her head. "You three kids aren't the ones who saved Mr. Fugi and defeated Team Rocket at the Pokemon Tower, are you?"

All of them just chuckled in embarrassment as Kidan rubbed the back of his neck while Cealy shyly looked away and Sora just played with his thumbs. "I guess word travels fast here," Kidan replied embarrassed.

"Everyone in Saffron City knows," Sabrina said to them, causing them to sweatdrop a little. "The people of Lavender and myself should really thank you for saving Mr. Fugi and the tower from Team Rocket."

"Do you know Mr. Fugi personally, Sabrina?" Cealy asked her out of curiosity.

"Actually yes, I do," Sabrina nodded as she started to explain. "I met him when I was younger. My parents and I had gone to Lavender Town to pay our respects for my father's Zubat at the Pokemon Tower. That was where I met Mr. Fugi and where I actually got my first Pokemon too. He was very kind to us, and still is."

"Who was your first Pokemon?" Kidan asked her, interested on what Pokemon Mr. Fugi had gave her back then.

In response, she just giggled and then winked. "That little piece of information is something that you three will have to find out when you come challenge us. That is...if you win."

Even though he was a bit disappointed, he was still pretty psyched about his gym battle now. "There is no way we'll lose!"

"I admire your confidence," Sabrina complimented him. "That shows how truly you show your kindness to people and Pokemon alike."

"Really?" They all asked her, somehwhat confused as to how that is.

Before she could reply, they were all interupted when another figure appeared next to her. Spooking them all, except for Sabrina, they saw that this was also a Pyschic-type Pokemon. Just like Abra, it had a yellow body with brown coating but with a yellow mustahce on its face and had its eyes open, revealing a red rose color. Its tail was much buffier than a regular Abra and in its right hand, it was holding a spoon oddly enough. That Pokemon was known as Kadabra.

Pulling out his PokeDex, Kidan looked up Kadabra's information. "Kadabra is the Psi Pokemon, and the evolved form of Abra. When Kadabra uses its psychic power, it emits strong alpha waves that can ruin precision devices, causing types of machines to malfuction," he read from his PokeDex as he puts it away. "Is this your Pokemon as well, Sabrina?"

"Yep. Kadabra is the second Pokemon I ever had when I was younger, and has been a great Pokemon ever since. Right Kadabra?" Sabrina asked her Pokemon partner who nodded and replied in its own language.

"That's pretty cool," Sora said with much interest as he stared at the Psychic Pokemon.

"Kadabra, ka dab abra?" Kadabra asked its trainer.

"Sorry Kadabra. I was gonna tell you, but I got a little side track," Sabrina apologized to her Pokemon.

"Kadabra, ab," Kadabra replied in a 'no problem' statement as it turned to Abra. "Kadab dabra kada."

"Abra," Abra nodded as it pulled on Sabrina's pant leg to gain her attention. "Abra ab abra ab!"

"I know, I know. You guys are getting hungry, huh?" She asked them earning herself a nod from them both. "Alright then, we'll get going. You kids should come on over to the gym later. We should be ready by then."

"Sounds good to us," Kidan agreed with Cealy and Sora nodding their heads.

"Great. We'll see you kids at the gym then. Kadabra, kidnly use Teleport to get us home please?" Nodding, Kadabra's spoon lights up in a purple color as she, Kadabra and Abra all vanish from thin air in the Pokemon Center.

Even though they seen it before, Kidan and the others couldn't get over on how they can just vanish and reappear in thin air.

"Talk about a one-way ticket out of here," Sora joked. "I have got to get me a Pokemon of my own to use Teleport!"

"Yeah, if we do that, you'll get us all lost every time," Cealy snickered, causing Kidan to laugh and Sora to pout.

"I don't always get us lost!" Sora exclaimed in self defence.

"When was the last time you didn't get us lost?" Kidan snickered back.

Just as he was about to comment on that, he closed his mouth quickly. They had a point. Everytime he used a map to guide them, he would eventually get them all lost. So for the best of them all, he kept his mouth shut and narrowed his eyes away from them.

"You guys are jerks," Sora mumbled earning himself a chuckle from the two trainers.

"So now we know that Sabrina has an Abra and Kadabra, what Pokemon do you think she'll use last?" Cealy asked them all changing the topic.

"To be honest, I'm not really sure," Kidan shrugged. Even though he had a hunch on what her last Pokemon could be, he didn't want to risk Cealy and Sora on losing to whoever it could be. From what they all knew, Sabrina had Abra, Kadabra and another Pokemon she did not reveal to them until they challenged her at the gym. If it was indeed powerful, though, then they needed to be ready.

However, to keep calm, he just grinned at his friends. "But that ain't gonna stop us from winning that gym badge!"

A few hours had passed and Kidan and the gang had started planning on who to use for the gym match. Technically, since Sabrina was a Psychic-type expert, they needed strength and a good strategy to beat her. Kidan was up first to challenge her, considering Cealy had faced Misty back in Cerulean first while Sora faced Lt. Surge first in Vermillion. They all thought it was fair enough for him to go first this time.

So during those hours, after going over his entire team and coming up with his own strategies, he and the others finally started to make their way to the gym after receiving their Pokemon from Nurse Joy. On the way there, they couldn't help but notice a lot of activity going on at a large and tall building in the middle of Saffron. They could see a few helicopters coming in and out from the top of the roof, flying off to who knows where. Figuring that it was just some kind of buisness going, they contiued to make their way to the gym.

As they all walked, Cealy and Sora had been thinking about what strategy Kidan had come up with against Sabrina and her Psychic Pokemon. As far as they knew, all of Kidan's Pokemon were Fire, Bug, Flying, Water and as well as Psychic Pokemon. All of their moves were pretty much standard attacks, nothing that would cause extreme damage to the Psychic Pokemon. And since Kidan didn't tell them what Pokemon he was gonna use and what kind of strategy he was planning to try, they were left in the dark. All they could really do was trust in Kidan's tactics and hope he doesn't lose on his first try.

After about fifteen minutes of walking, they all finally make it to the Saffron City Gym entrance. The building was large like all the other gyms they've seen, but this building looked rather like a regular training gym than an offical Pokemon League Gym. It was large and rectangular with a brown roof and sliding glass doors to enter and exit, all simple stuff. Shrugging it off, they enter the building as they wen tot find Sabrina. When they were walking down a hallway, they heard a sudden scream from anothe room nearby causing them to be alert. Quickly as they could, they ran towards the room to whomever screamed from inside, opening the door in front of them open.

To their relief and yet suprise, they found Sabrina's Pokemon, Abra and Kadabra, as well as Sabrina who was laying on the floor on her back, all laughing from something. Apparently, they saw that Abra was wearing a clown's mask on its face, standing next to Kadabra who was also wearing a clown's mask as well. They all looked at Sabrina and her Pokemon with confused and stunned looks.

"Uh...Sabrina?" Kidan softly spoke up after the laughter died down some.

Finally catching her breath, she looked over to Kidan and the others as they were all standing in front of the doorway with odd expressions. "Oh, Kidan! We didn't hear you guys come in." Standing up with the help of her Pokemon, she dusted herself off and walked up to them. "Sorry about that. We were all in the middle of something."

"We see that," Cealy expected the room as Abra was trying to make funny movements in front of Kadabra who started laughing. "What were you guys doing?"

"This? We were just having a bit of a break after some training," Sabrina explained to them. "See, every time we finish our training sessions, we usually take a break in here and come up with some funny stuff to pass the time."

"Was that why we heard you screaming from down the hall?" Sora asked curiously.

"Yes. Abra had disappeared before I entered the room and teleported right in front of me. I didn't see it coming, so I was pretty scared, but started laughing after."

"That makes sense," Kidan smiled with a nod as he looked over to Abra and Kadabra, laughing. "It seems that Abra and Kadabra are having a fun time together."

Sabrina looks over to her Pokemon and softly smiles. "They sure do. Kadabra is like Abra's older brother. He's been watching Abra grow up ever since I found him in the woods. He was with me at the time when I found Abra, and they had already gotten attached to each other quickly."

"That's so sweet," Cealy gushed.

"How long have you had Abra anyhow?" Sora asked Sabrina.

"More than six months now," Sabrina replied. "He had followed us home ever since that day, so I decided to have him part of the family. I think that was perhaps one of the best things I did for those two."

Kidan could only smile at that. It made him feel good that good trainers, like Sabrina and the other gym leaders they know or met, really cared for their Pokemon, even wild ones. He can always remember the times he and Cealy played with the other wild and caught Pokemon in Pallet Town. Those memories were the ones he truly cherished for years, reminding him just how important it is to care and love Pokemon of all kinds.

Knowing that he would stay all day and rememorize his memories, he shakes his head slightly and looks up at Sabrina. "Hey Sabrina? Do you think we can have our gym battle right now?"

Sabrina grins at him. "Sounds like your all prepared for our battle, huh?"

Kidan clucthed his hand into a fist as his eyes gave off a wave of confidence and determination. "You bet! I've been waiting for this battle for sometime now!"

"Then let's not wait any longer," Sabrina replied as she looked over to Abra and Kadabra. "Okay, you two. You ready for a challenge?"

Taking off their clown masks, they both nodded excitedly. Though, Abra was more excited to battle than Kadabra was. Teleporting next to their trainer, Sabrina and her Pokemon guided them to the gym floor as they prepared for their upcoming battle.

In the gym's battlefield, both Sabrina and Kidna took their respective positions on each side of the field while Cealy, Sora and their Pokemon, Spree and Eevee, took their seats on the bleachers that stood next to the battlefield.

"Any idea on what Kidan is gonna use?" Sora asked Cealy curiously, knowing that she knew him more than he would.

"No, not really," Cealy shook her head sadly. "He didn't say anything nor hint nothing. He didn't even say what kind of Pokemon he would use against Sabrina either."

Sora sighs and crosses his arms, "Well let's hope that Kidan has a good strategy underneath his sleeves. Otherwise, this battle could be over quicker than we think."

"Kidan will win," Cealy murmured softly as she looked at him across the field, "I know he will."

Everyone waited patiently until Sabrina spoke up. "Alright Kidan! This battle will be a three-on-three match! You are allowed to change Pokemon at anytime during the battle! Sound good?"

"Sounds good for us!" Kidan smirked with determination as Slice cried out his own determination.

"Okay then! Abra, let's go!" Sabrina called out as her Abra that had been standing next to her teleported to the battlefield quickly. The look on its face indicated that it was all set and ready to battle. It had no indication of backing down.

That was just Kidan wanted from Sabrina's Pokemon. No holding back. "Alright, let's go!" Kidan shouted as he tossed his pokeball onto the field.

Emerging from its ball was the one Pokemon that Cealy nor Sora didn't expect him to use at first. Even their Pokemon, except for Slice, were suprised at this. Coming into the field was Kidan's Pokemon, Psych.

"Psych? Why use Pysch?" Sora wondered with his eyebrow raised. "He does know that Psychic attacks won't do anything to another Psychic Pokemon, right?"

"I think that's what Kidan wants to start at," Cealy replied only to gain a now confused Sora. "Like you said, Psychic Pokemon can't hurt each other with their own attacks. So my guess is that Kidan is gonna use Psych to try and slow down as much as Sabrina's Psychic Pokemon team slowly. At least, as much as he can."

"I hope that's what he's planning," Sora furrowed his eyes, not really figuring out what Kidan was doing.

"You have an Abra too, huh?" Sabrina asked with much interest and curiosity. "I must say, I'm pretty curious as to what your strategy is."

"You'll just have to see," Kidan grins. "Psych, start things off with Confusion!"

Complying, after waking from his small nap, Psych shoots off a wave of purple energy at Sabrina's Abra, who was waiting for her to give an order.

"Abra, use your Confusion on Pysch as well!" Sabrina ordered her Pokemon.

Shooting out a wave of purple energy as well, both Confusion attacks collided, casuing a small explosion in the process, only slightly damaging both sides each.

"Quick, use Teleport and then Confusion!" Kidan shouted to his Pokemon.

At that second, Psych vanished into thin air as Abra started to look for him. Not paying attention, Psych had reappeared right behind it, preparing to shoot another Confusion attack.

"Now Abra!" Sabrina ordered.

Figuring out what she meant, they got their answer as Abra dodged the attacka and teleported right behind him, whipping its tail at Psych and sending him sliding across the room back to Kidan. The looks on their faces were completely in disbelief.

'What?! It knew where I was the whole time?!' Abra exclaimed in disbelief.

"How did she know where Psych would go?!" Kidan exclaimed.

"You forget Kidan," Sabrina smirked, "I'm an expert on Psychic-type Pokemon. That little trick is no different than Abra's, so I knew when and where Psych would attack."

"Crap. I forgot about that," Kidan murmured with a fustrated tone. He couldn't believe that he forgot about Sabrina knowing everything there was to know about Psychic-type Pokemon.

"Abra, Teleport!" Sabrina ordered as her Abra vanished the same way as Psych had. Without knowing where it would appear, Psych started to panic as he tried to find where Abra had gone to.

"Don't let it get to you Psych! Just calm yourself and focus on Abra's Psychic powers!" Kidan shouted at his Pokemon.

Nodding, Psych closed his eyes as he tried to tune into Abra's Psychic powers. He may be unexperience with his powers yet, but he was still able to sense another Psychic Pokemon from a mile away. As if his instincts were correct, he felt a psychic presense behind him.

"Abra, use Thunder Punch!" Sabrina commanded.

"Psych, behind you!" Kidan cried out.

With quick timing, before Abra could lay a hand on Psych, he quickly used Teleport to get away, suprising Abra at the very least. When it landed on its feet, Psych reappeared behind it once again.

"Thunder Punch again Abra!" Sabrina ordered.

"Use Disable!" Kidan called out.

Just as Abra was about to deliver a electrifying punch at Psych, he raised his hands in front of himself and his eyes opened up for a few seconds before they closed. Psych's attempt to stop Abra worked as Abra's Thunder Punch faded away.

"Alright Psych!" Kidan cheered.

"Those were very interesting combos," Sora complimented on Kidan's strategy so far. "By using Teleport, he knew that Sabrina would figure out where he would be again and use an offensive attack. But using Disable at the same time is impressive. Now that Thunder Punch is disabled by Psych, Abra can't use its attack any longer."

"Kidan might win this round," Cealy highly hoped as she stared between the two Pokemon and trainers.

"I'm impressed Kidan," Sabrina complimented him, "not alot of trainers with Abras or Kadabras would use something like that with a Teleport combo. You did well raising your Abra."

"Thanks Sabrina," Kidan replied, "but this is just the beginning!"

"My thoughts exactly," Sabrina replied when she smirked. "Alright Abra, let's show them! Use you Fire Punch attack!"

"Another one?!" Kidan exclaimed.

Teleporting once again, Abra appeared right in front of Psych, catching him off guard.

"Quick, get away Psych!" Kidan cried out quickly.

But before Pysch had the chance to escape, he was hit with a full powerful Fire Punch in the face, sending him flying across the room and next to Kidan. He tried to stand back up, but was already weak from earlier. In the end, Psych collapsed to the ground fainted.

"I guess Psych can't battle anymore," Sabrina informed him as he ran up to him.

"You okay buddy?" Kidna murmured in concern.

'This...this is nothing,' Abra said trying to play it cool as he gave Kidan a weak thumbs up. 'I'll be back on my feet soon enough.'

Kidna couldn't help but smile. He knew that Pysch was acting tough at the moment, and he did a great job facing against another Abra too. "Good to hear. Now come on back and get some rest. You've earned it." Pulling out his Pokeball, he put Pysch back into his respective ball.

"I'm suprised that Pysch held out that long," Cealy said to Sora with Spree agreeing with her laying on top of her head.

"Pysch was doing pretty good at first," Sora agreed, "but wasn't able to make a comeback from Abra's Thunder Punch and Fire Punch attacks. It just shows how good Sabrina trained her Pokemon."

"Maybe a little too good," Cealy murmured softly, causing Spree to give her a confused sound.

"So who will you choose next Kidan?" Sabrina asked him, who was thinking of his next Pokemon.

'Okay, since Psych is out of the battle, I won't be able to rely on using Disable on some of Sabrina's Pokemon's moves later,' Kidan thought to himself carefully. 'I now have two more left, leaving Slice out of this battle, considering he's not very skilled against Psychic-type Pokemon. That leaves me with Swirl and Char.' After coming up with another plan, he pulled out his next pokeball. "Alright, your up next pal!"

Tossing his second pokeball into the air, emerging from inside was Kidan's Water-type Pokemon, Swirl.

"An intersting choice," Sora studied. "By using Swirl, Kidan can put Sabrina's Pokemon to sleep using Hypnosis and then finishing them off with Body Slam."

"Do you think it'll be enough Sora?" Cealy asked him worriedly. "She still has three Pokemon left, and Kidan has one more Pokemon left to send out later."

"I'm not too sure Cealy," Sora replied rubbing his chin as Eevee looked at the field with the same expression.

"You ready Swirl?" Kidan asked his Pokemon.

'You know it!' Swirl cried out with fire in his eyes.

"Okay then, lets go! Use Water Gun attack!" Kidan ordered.

"Use Teleport and Confusion Abra!" Sabrina called out.

As Swirl launched an intense power of water at Abra, it quickly vanished from its position, leaving Swirl to look for it. But as expected by Kidan, it had appeared behind Swirl and prepared to launch a Confusion attack.

That was when Kidan made his next move. "Swirl, aim Water Gun down to the ground!"

Figuring out what Kidan had in mind, Swirl launched another water shot from its swirl area down to the ground and launched himself to the air, dodging Abra's attack.

"What?" Sabrina replied in awe with Abra looking up at Swirl with the same expression on its face.

"End this with a Body Slam!" Kidan shouted with a smile.

"Abra, get out of there!" Sabrina cried out in concern.

Just like he had done in the battle with Richard and his Raticate on the S.S. Anne, Swirl was quick enough to smash its body onto Abra before it could try and escape Swirl's attack. After a few seconds, Swirl got off of Abra as it was seen crushed into the floor with swirls of its own in its eyes. Abra had fainted.

"Looks like Abra is out of the battle too, Sabrina," Kidan said to her as he saw her returning her Abra into its Pokeball before releasing him beside her and Kadabra, who was conforting its friend.

"Ab..." Abra said with a sad tone to its trainer and friend.

"You did a good job Abra. No need to be ashamed," Sabrina assured her Pokemon as Kadabra did the same patting Abra on the back for a good job. Feeling releived, Abra looked at them both with a happier face.

"You've beaten Abra I see," Sabrina replied to Kidan finally. "Not alot of trainers haven been able to beat him til' their last Pokemon appears. You might have a chance against my first partner after all. But that doesn't mean I'll go any less harder on you and your Pokemon."

"I was hoping you wouldn't," Kidan smirked as Swirl cried out with much energy and determination.

"Good," Sabrina said as she looked over to Kadabra. "Ready Kadab?"

Nodding, Kadabra teleported to the field as it stood in front of Swirl by ten feet apart. Since Swirl and Kadabra were both the second evolved forms of their evolution chain, the battle between them would be tense. Even Spree and Eevee could feel the rising atmosphere in the room as they stared between the two evolved Pokemon.

To make the first move of the third round was Kidan as he shouted, "Swirl, use Water Gun attack!"

Nodding back to his trainer, Swirl once again shot another blast full of water directly at Kadabra, who was just standing there waiting for its orders to be called.

However, nothing happened as Kadabra vanished as the water flew pass through the opened air and into the wall missing Kadabra by a long shot.

"What?!" 'What?!' Kidan and everyone else exclaimed in disbelief. They couldn't believe that Kadabra just dodged the attack without Sabrina giving a single command to it.

But what suprised them most was when Kidan noticed Sabrina nodding her head lightly for a second before Kadabra stood right behind the suprised Swirl as he turned around and foudn Kadabra next to him. Without a single command, Kadabra shot a stream of electricity at Swirl, electrifying him painfully as he dropped to his knee.

"Swirl!" Kidan cried out in concern as Swirl was being electrified by Kadabra's attack.

"Is that what I think it is?" Cealy asked out loud in disbelief.

"Thunderbolt," Sora nodded to her, "the same attack that Lt. Surge used on us back at the Vermillion Gym. I didn't realize that a Kadabra could learn an attack like that. I guess I was wrong.

"Kidan..." Cealy whispered with much worry in her tone. She knew that Kidan would have a much more tougher time against Sabrina and her Kadabra now since Thunderbolt was super-effective against Swirl and he was a Water-type. The situation was very bad.

"Swirl, don't let that attack go any further! Use Bubble barrage!" Kidan shouted quickly to his Pokemon.

With as much strength he could muster up, Swirl shot a few dozen of bubble energy at Kadabra, being barraged by each one since Kadabra was so close to him and it was using Thunderbolt at the same time.

Haulting its attack, Kadabra stumbled back a bit from the attack and exhaustion that it used on Swirl, while Swirl was almost out of energy after being hit by Thunderbolt and using his Bubble barrage combo. The two Pokemon were very well tied in strength now. A couple more attacks from them both and the fourth round would be over for both sides.

"Swirl, give this last attack everything you got! Use Hypno Gun!"

At the same, Sabrina nodded twice to Kadabra, as it quickly used Light Screen to block Swirl's coming attack. As it blocked out Swirl's Water Gun combo, it wasn't able to dodge Swirl's Hypnosis attack, leaving Kadabra to become drowzy and then finally fall asleep in the middle of the battle. But as Kadabra fell asleep, Swirl was unable to hold onto his strength any longer as he suddenly collapsed to the ground in exhaustion. Apparently, both Pokemon were too powerful to keep up with each other as they were both declared to be unable to continue battling.

"They both lost," Sora replied with an awe.

"Swirl and Kadabra must have been too powerful against each other," Cealy guessed, though she didn't know that was right. "That's probably why they both fainted quickly after just a few attacks. They were both strong, so I couldn't guess who would actually win."

"It seems that we're both down to our last Pokemon now," Sabrina replied with a sad smile as she returned Kadabra to its pokeball as Kidna did the same with Swirl, thanking him for a job well done.

"Seems that way," Kidan replied with a smirk, now feeling both exhilirated and fired up as he was now able to see who Sabrina's last Pokemon and first partner is. From all the things he could gather and what Pokemon Sabrina has, he had a big hunch on what her very last Pokemon would be. But all he could do was just hope that he was right. Otherwise, this last battle will be very difficult.

"You've come a long way Kidan, and you have impressed us with the bond and strength of your Pokemon," Sabrina said out loud to him across the field. "But...this last battle will prove to us just how close you and your Pokemon are. So prepare yourself for this, cause your about to challenge the strongest Pokemon in the Saffron Gym."

Kidan, who was ready for whatever she was gonna send out, watches as she pulls out her last Pokemon that was inside its pokeball. "Come on out, my old friend! It's time to battle!"

Emerging onto the field suprised everyone a bit, including Kidan who had a hunch on who the Pokemon was gonna be. Standing on the field was a Pokemon that looked very similar to both Abra and Kadabra. But instead, it was about the height of a human being with long yellow arms and legs. It had long pointy ears on its head with a rather long yellow mustache on its face. Its shoulder pads and stomach, as well as its knee pads were all colored brown as it carried a large spoon in each hand. The Pokemon that had emerged was known as Alakazam.

"Oh boy," Sora murmured softly with nervousness in his tone. He wasn't expecting Sabrina to have a Pokemon like that in her team. Even though he had a hypothesis that she would have one, he really didn't expect it.

"Alakazam...this is gonna be the hardest battle Kidan will face so far," Cealy whispered softly as she stared at Kidan. Out of all the battles so far they have all been, this was probably the one that Kidan would definitely have a tough time facing. 'Be careful Kyie...'

Pulling out his PokeDex, Kidan quickly scanned Alakazam for its information. "Alakazam is the Psi Pokemon, and the evolved form of Kadabra. Alakazam's brain cells can multiply continually until it dies. It can also outperform a supercomputer, meaning that its IQ is said to be around 6,000. And as a result, it remembers everything," Kidan read from his PokeDex putting it away in his jacket. "I should have known you would have a Alakazam."

"Really? How'd you know?" Sabrina asked him curiously. She had a hunch of her own on how he figured it out.

"Since you have both an Abra and Kadabra on your team," Kidan started to explain, "and since that your the expert on Psychic-type Pokemon, my theory was that the strongest Psychic Pokemon known so far was the last evolution of Abra. And that was Alakazam."

"Very good hypothesis Kidan," Sabrina complimented on his theory, "then you must know that Alakazam will also be a tough Pokemon to beat, considering its one of the most powerful Psychic-type Pokemon known so far. And since my Psychic powers are able to communicate with both Kadabra and Alakazam, you'll need a big miracle to beat us."

"I had a feeling," Kidan smirked before frowning as he looked down to his last Pokemon that was inside its pokeball clucthed to his hand. Their last chance of winning against Sabrina and earning their fourth badge was here and now. The bond he carried with the one Pokemon he had in his hand would prove on how stron they really were. Looking over to Slice, he earned himself a reassuring smile and nod from him as Kidan returned the gesture. Looking towards Sabrina and her Alakazam, his expression was now more determined than ever. He needed to win this, no matter what. "Okay! Lets show them our bond Char!"

Tossing his last Pokemon to the field, emerging from the ball was his first Pokemon and one of his closest Pokemon, the Fire Lizard Pokemon Char. As he stood in the field, he gave Sabrina's Alakazam a look that meant that it was challenging it to a fierce battle. Knowing that look, Alakazam gave off the same look as well.

The tension was high now. Sabrina's Alakazam and Kidan's Char, or Charmeleon, were about to face off. And only one one of the two Pokemon will win the battle. They all hoped that Kidan and Char will win against Sabrina and Alakazam and earn them their fourth badge. But they also had doubts due to knowing that Sabrina's Alakazam was indeed a powerful Psychic-type. So all they could really do was just wait and watch the battle unfold.

After a few moments of silence, both trainers called out their attacks, as one of them use their psychic abilities to ordered their commands.

"Flamethrower attack!" Kidan shouted to Char.

Psybeam Alakazam! Sabrina shouted her order through her powers.

At the same time, Char unleashes a massive force of flames from his mouth as it flew right at Alakazam while Sabrina's Pokemon shot a beam of colorful energy back at Char. The two attacks collided hard causing a large explosion in the process as both Pokemon quickly took the opportunity to charge at each other.

"Metal Ember!"

Fire Punch!

Once again, both Pokemon unleashed their attacks against each other, with Char lashing and blocking with his Metal Claw and Ember combo while Alakazam attacked and blocked with its Fire Punch. Back and forth, both Pokemon were trememdously powerful against each other.

Cealy, Sora, Spree and Eevee all watched the quick and decisive battle between the two, seeing if one of them will be caught off guard against the other. But as far as they knew, none of them were gonna back down anytime soon.

Knowing that this won't last forever, Kidan shouted another command. "Char, Smoke Thrower!"

Grunting, Char jumped backwards avoiding Alakazam's attempt to hit him with FIre Punch as he shot a ball of smoke into the arena, making the field be covered in pitch black smoke. Alakazam looked around for Char from inside the smoke, but was having trouble seeing or hearing due to it. But that didn't last long until Char shot a burst of flames once more at Alakazam, hitting it directly in the stomach as it flew backwards towards Sabrina. Though weakened more, Alakazam was still able to stand on its feet.

You okay Alakazam? Sabrina asked her Pokemon. She got her answer as Alakazam replied in its language, indicating that it was still able to battle. Good. Lets try using a Thunderbolt when the smoke clears.

Nodding, Alakazam waited paitently as the smoke started to clear away, revealing Char standing on the other side of the field. Enough to see its opponent, Alakazam shot a wave of electricity at Char, who had no idea what was coming to him. Before it saw the electric attack, it was quickly hit by the attack, electrifying him intensily. The attack was powerful and his HP and energy was dropping miraculously. If Kidan didn't give another command now, its all over.

"Oh no!" Cealy shouted in concern with Spree shouting out as well.

"If Kidan doesn't do anything soon, this match is well over!" Sora exclaimed as Eevee cried out her own concern for Char and Kidan.

Kidan stood there quickly trying to come up with a new plan. He should have known that Alakazam would use Thunderbolt and Fire Punch like Kadabra and Abra would, so there was no doubt it knew Teleport and Ice Punch, as well as Confusion. 'I need to figure out how to Alakazam. Both of them are securely linked in their Psychic powers and can just give commands through their minds. I need to exploit it somehow...but how can I?'

As if he couldn't figure out what to do, he suddenly remembered the battle with Brock at the Pewter City Gym. His Pokemon, Onix, was able to use the move Dig when it attacked Char back then and coiled itself around him. Though he knew that Char couldn't coil anything, he had an idea that might just work.

"Char, use Dig now!" Kidan shouted quickly.

Wondering what Kidan was up to, Char complied as it started to dig while being electricuted still. When Char was far enough underground, Alakazam haulted its attack.

Focus in on Char's form using your powers Alakazam, Sabrina instructed her Pokemon. Nodding, Alakazam started to meditate as he sat down, crossed his legs and closed his eyes, trying to focus in on Char and where he would pop out of.

However, Kidan expected Sabrina to think that he wants Char to attack with Dig, so this was perfect. "Okay Char, come back up and use Dig again!"

Burrowing back out, Char yet again dug another hole into the ground. This action kept going on and on until the gym was covered with a few dozen holes all over the place. Sabrina and Alakazam didn't have a clue on what Kidan was thinking, but it couldn't be good for them. As for Cealy, Sora and their two Pokemon, they were as curious as Sabrina and Alakazam. What was Kidan actually planning to do with all those holes in the arena?

Knowing that just standing around won't do them any good, she knew that needed to attack sooner or later. Alakazam, use Thunderbolt on the hole!

Again Alakazam shot a wave of electricity from his body, aiming the attack down the hole to find and hit Char from below. However, the attack had somehow missed as Char leapt right out from one of its holes as the Thunderbolt attack flew right out of the holes each. But when Sabrina looked over to Char, she noticed that he was getting weaker as his breaths were becoming heavier and heavier.

Figuring that one more attack should end it, Sabrina gave out her final command. Its time to end this Alakazam! Use Psybeam to finish Char off!

Crossing his spoons like before, Alakazam shot a beam of colorful energy at Char, preparing to end the entire match.

"Char!" Cealy and Sora exclaimed as well as Spree and Eevee.

However, Kidan just ahd a grin on his face, confusing everyone except Char and Slice. "Figured you would do that! Dodge and use Flamthrower in the hole!"

Just barely missing the attack, Char shoots a massive burst of flames into the nearest hole he was at as the ground began to shook intensily. Wondering what was happening, everyone got their answers as the holes began to shoot out flames from all over, now covering the field with tons of flames and into the ceiling.

"What the?!" Sabrina looked out to the field in awe as Alakazam tried to avoid any of the flames. She now knew that she was indeed trouble.

"What just happened?" Cealy asked Sora curiously.

"It all makes sense now," Sora smirked at the idea. "By using Dig to cover the field of holes, Char was able to use Flamethrower to then cover the entire field with flames, making Alakazam not able to move from its spot! Even Teleport can't help them now!"

'Way to go Char!' Spree exclaimed excitedly flapping her moth-like wings.

'Finish off Alakazam once and for all!' Eevee cried out with joy and determination hopping up and down.

"Alright Char, time to end this once and for all! Use Metal Ember attack!" Kidan grinned as he gave out his last command.

"Alakazam, get away!" Sabrina cried out to her Pokemon. But it was totally useless. Alakazam was trapped all around by flames from every direction. There was no escape for him to run. "Oh no!"

"Lets do it Char!" Kidan cried out as Char ran through the flames, covering his claws and body with his own heat. Char got right in front of the trapped Alakazam as he unleashed his final attack on the Psychic Pokemon, slashing his flamed claws at the Pokemon, sending him backwards across the field and up against Sabrina. Alakazam weakly tried to stand back up, but fell right back down due to the lack of energy and strength it now had. Alakazam was no longer able to battle.

"Alakazam!" Sabrina cried out as she ran over to her Pokemon while the flames finally settled down in the field.

"We did Char! We won our fourth badg-ahhh!" Kidan exclaimed happily as he was suddenly tackled by both Slice and Char, sending him to the ground laughing.

"They did it!" Cealy and Spree exclaimed happily as they ran down from the bleachers towards Kidan and his Pokemon.

"That was too close, eh Eevee?" Sora asked his Pokemon who in turn sighed a big relief as they both walked down the bleachers normally.

"You okay Alakazam?" Sabrina asked her long time partner in concern, as well as Abra and Kadabra who gave off the same expressions. In relief, Alakazam smiled and nodded his head for his answer. Smiling, she gave her partner a hug. "Oh I'm so glad to hear!"

Looking over to Kidan and his Pokemon, where Cealy and Sora were complimenting him on his battle, she got up and walked over to him as Abra and Kadabra helped Alakazam up to his feet as followed cloesly behind.

"Amazing job today Kidan," Sabrina complimented to him, "your skills and strength were really something. And the bond your Pokemon had was incredible. In my few years of being a gym leader, I have never faced anyone with those kind of strategies or techniques. An excellent job."

"Thanks Sabrina," Kidna chuckled with his hand rubbing the bakc of his head, "but I couldn't have won without my Pokemon's help. They're the ones who deserve all the credit."

"Well you too Kidan," Cealy replied with a smile. "If they didn't have a great trainer like you, I don't think they would ever get this far."

"Thanks for the compliment Ceal," Kidan said back causing her to slightly blush back.

"She is right though. Your a great trainer and friend to your Pokemon, and I can definitely say that you'll be even more closer as you all continue your journeys," Sabrina said with her own Pokemon nodding in agreement. She then pulls out a small metal item from her pocket. "So, as for your victory, I present you this; the Marsh Badge."

"Thanks alot Sabrina," Kidan replied as he took the badge and placed it into his badge case. "Take a look you guys, our fourth badge."

'Took us long enough! I thought we would never get here!' Char joked in a complaint.

'Look at the bright side, you got us that badge. You should be proud,' Slice responded pointing his blade at him.

'Why wouldn't I? I'm getting stronger everyday!' Char exclaimed, earning a laugh from Slice, as well as Spree and Eevee who was hearing their conversation.

"Well, since the gym will need some repairs at the moment, who will face us tomorrow?" Sabrina asked curiously looking between Cealy and Sora.

"I'll challenge you tomorrow Sabrina!" Sora exclaimed with Eevee eagerly nodding her head.

"Perfect! Then all of you might want to come back tomorrow in rhe afternoon til' we can get this place repaired," Sabrina suggested as they all agreed.

Now that Kidan has four badges, its up to Cealy and Sora to earn theirs. But as they saw today, their battle against Sabrina will be a tough one. They will need to use precise strategy and Pokemon to go up against her.

However, as we always say, their adventure is still a long ways away before they complete earning their badges. I wonder what will lye ahead for our three heroes later? And what was up with that tall building in Saffron City? Is there anything to be worried about? I guess we'll have to find out next time!

TO BE CONTINUED...

A/N: I have to say, I really enjoyed writing this chapter alot. I have read all the Pokemon Mangas and series so far, and I have to clearly say that this Sabrina works out better for me. I don't really see her as the mean and evil type. More like the close bond type with her Pokemon, considering she has Psychic powers. And I can say that I really like how this all turned out. Also, to put this out here, I am really considering doing a Pokemon Movie shot that goes along with the stories. I haven't really decided that yet but I believe it would prove very interesting to say the least.

But enough talk! I and the crew really hope you all enjoyed this chapter and please, give us those reviews on how we did. And if you liked it so far, make sure to give us a fave or follow along for more amazing chapters like this one. We hope you enjoyed and have a great and wonderful day/night. See ya' next time!
