''Look who's finally back,'' Drew threw the morning paper down on his desk when Logan walked into their office. ''I thought I was left without my partner,''

''Well that shouldn't come as such a shock to you considering you're supposed to be looking for a new partner anyway, I'm only here for two more weeks you know,'' she chuckled. ''You have to start looking for another photographer while I'm gone,''

Drew groaned loudly as Logan took her seat, throwing her bag into the corner. Once she and Tony arrived back from Monaco, she had taken a few days off work to rest since she was exhausted, but soon enough it was time to come back into work. Drew had written the most popular story about what happened at the Grand Prix even though Logan hadn't told him the specifics about what it was all about. Logan always maintained that her personal life didn't interfere with her work, but Drew was working on a story about Stark Industries, it was helpful that the other half of his duo was married to the man in charge.

Collins was never a man impressed easily, even when Drew and Logan were promoted due to how successful their coverage of Tony's disappearance the year before, and now that Logan was pregnant and had to take time off, he certainly wasn't happy. She was part of the reason their paper had been so successful and boomed over the past year and especially the last few months, he didn't know how it would go without her inside work, but Logan assured him and Drew that even though she wouldn't be in the office, she'd happily do what she could when possible.

''Ugh, I wish I was pregnant,'' Drew hung his head back, whining.

Logan looked over to him with a confused expression.

''You do know what you just said, right?''

''It'd get me out of having to go to this stupid hippy festival tomorrow and interviewing a bunch of teenagers who refuse to shower and get all philosophical,'' he sighed. ''Being pregnant seems like a pretty sweet get out of jail free card to me,''

''The Vibe Fest isn't that bad,'' Logan rolled her eyes. ''I'm pretty sure I covered that festival my first year of photojournalism...I don't really remember much, just that I was very happy to be there,''

''Right, had all your fun before you came here,'' Drew chuckled. ''Seriously Lo, it's depressing out there without you. I mean, how am I supposed to find another person to work with when you've set the bar so high?''

''That's the nicest thing you've said to me,'' she smiled.

''I guess it wouldn't be that bad if I found someone really hot,'' he smirked.

''And now you ruined it,'

Tony had been in the workshop for most of the day apart from when he went out for a fly in the suit. He didn't particularly have anything to do that day since Pepper had been in charge of most things and he'd told Natalie to help her with everything, he just wanted some time alone to think. All he did was think though, and it was driving him crazy. The palladium poison was always on his mind and he couldn't focus on the suit or upgrades or anything but finding a cure for what was killing him.

Jarvis had been doing numerous tests and scanning all of the elements, however so far nothing had come up that would fix what was going on. He wasn't going to give up though. His life was finally perfect, he was going to be a father and he wanted to be around for when his child was born and for every milestone they went through. He wasn't ready to leave, and he promised himself he wouldn't, no matter what.

It was late that afternoon when Logan returned home and kicked her shoes off into the corner. Tony watched from the couch as she walked into the living room, her hands on her hips and she stretched her back out, sighing in relief. Tony hated that she worked, but she liked what she did, he wasn't going to argue with her. Being pregnant though made things a lot harder and Logan was tired more often than before, but Tony was always there for her.

''You're late,'' he opened his arms for her to lean back into him as she laid on the couch.

''I know,'' she yawned. ''I had some stuff to catch up on,''

Tony ran his arms down her side and put his hands on her stomach, noticing how big she was getting. It was crazy that there was a tiny person inside her, he never thought he'd ever experience that with someone. She was almost six months pregnant and he couldn't wait to meet their little boy or girl.

''They're kicking,'' he chuckled, feeling around her stomach.

''Mm,'' she smiled. ''They know we're home now,''

Tony kissed the side of her forehead as he felt the baby moving around. After everything that had happened in his life, being kidnapped, fighting Obadiah, Iron Man and all of the stupid and crazy stuff he'd done years before, feeling his child move around was the most amazing thing he had ever experienced. He couldn't thank Logan enough for being in his life, because now he had a family, and he vowed to always take care of them, no matter what. He also had a new found respect for Logan and everything she did, even more than he ever did before, and he did everything he could to make things easier for her and help in any way.

''Are you hungry?'' he asked in a soft voice, afraid she'd fallen asleep.

''I'm starving,'' she nodded. ''I don't feel like cooking tonight,''

''I could cook, but if you want something edible...''

''We could order in,'' she sighed.

''Yeah, wise choice. What do you feel like?''

''I just want stir fry vegetables,'' she looked up at him. ''Crunchy, saucy, stir fry vegetables. And honey chicken, with lots of chicken,''

''I can arrange that. Anything else?''

''Peppermint ice cream,'' she groaned. ''And a strawberry milkshake,''

Tony never complained about anything she wanted. Whatever she craved, no matter what time or where they were, he made sure she got it. She deserved it, and since he wasn't the one being pregnant and experiencing the sickness and pains, he was happy to do whatever she wanted.

''Got it,'' he nodded. ''Why don't you go have a shower and I'll have the food ready when you come out?''

Logan looked up at Tony and stretched her arm up to run her fingers through his hair

''Why are you spoiling me?''

''Because you deserve it, and I missed you,'' he smiled as he kissed her. ''Is that allowed?''

''I guess so,'' she chuckled.

Logan rested her head back in the long chair she was rested in, looking around the white walls all around her which were covered in pregnancy information and what the baby looked like inside. She had been here many times for all of her appointments, but it didn't make the nerves go away every time she had to come back.

''I hate doctors,'' she shook her head as she took a deep breath. ''You have no idea,''

''I do actually, I was there that time you swore at her,'' Tony reminded her. ''But this really a doctor's visit, it's not that bad,''

Logan turned her head and looked up at him.

''Not that bad? How about you try having to-''

Before she could finish her sentence, her doctor walked in with a smile on her face, not even realizing she had interrupted. Logan was on edge, she couldn't help it. She had never been experienced this before and her pregnancy had been an unexpected surprise, she didn't know what would be happening to her body or how to cope with any of it until she began these appointments. However, she had heard so many horror stories about what could happen and what could go wrong that she couldn't help feeling scared and nervous every time she had an appointment, scared of what might happen.

Everything went on as normal as Dr. Kerry asked her questions about how she was feeling and how everything was going. She was six months pregnant now and she had settled into what was happening to her body now in regards to sickness and certain pains, but what she was more nervous about this visit was the fact that her and Tony had finally decided to find out what they were having. It was mainly Logan's idea since she wanted to be prepared for everything, but Tony was equally anxious to find out the sex.

''So, you guys are ready to find out, huh?'' Dr. Kerry asked as she smeared some gel over Logan's stomach and began the ultrasound. ''That's exciting, it's a wonderful moment when you finally find out,''

''And you're sure it's accurate, right?'' Tony asked as he took Logan's hand in his.

''Definitely. You're six months along now, it'll be very easy to see what the sex is and it'll be very accurate,'' she told them as she looked at the screen. ''There's your baby,''

Logan and Tony looked up at the screen with a smile on their face as they saw the image of their child. They had seen the sonogram a number of times now, but each time the baby had grown and they were in absolute wonder at what they had created. Logan never thought she'd be a mother, she never even thought she'd have a stable relationship and neither did Tony, this whole situation was surreal to them, but they loved it.

''They've grown,'' Logan chuckled. ''I can see the hands and fingers,''

''It's crazy,'' Tony kissed her forehead.

''Would you like to know now?'' Dr. Kerry asked and was soon met with two excitedly nodding heads. ''Well, you're having a little boy,''

Logan's mouth fell open and her eyes lit up with excitement as she heard the news, squeezing Tony's hand in hers. Tony smiled widely as he looked at the image on the screen with the knowledge he was going to have a son. A wave of emotions washed over him, all excited and scared, but he was beyond happy. He wanted to meet his son and teach him everything, he could be the father he had always wanted to be. Logan couldn't help the tears that rolled down her cheeks and she smiled with joy, and Tony bent down to kiss her happily as she chuckled.

''Secretly, I totally wanted a boy,'' she told him excitedly. ''And we're having a boy!''

Tony couldn't respond, all that was going through his mind was the fact that he was going to have a son, but he didn't know if he would be here to meet him. He hated how the happy moments were ruined by what was going on, the poisoning, and that he didn't know how much time he had left to fix it. He had to be here for his son, he had to make sure he was here for everything.

''A boy, huh?'' he finally spoke. ''Wow. Hope you're prepared for another Tony Stark,''

''No way, he'll be way more like me,'' she joked.

''Honestly, I hope so,'' he sighed, smiling at her.

Later that night, Tony had been working in the shop for hours on new elements and remedies to slow down the palladium poisoning, and so far he was only buying a little bit of time each day, but he couldn't find a cure. He didn't know what to do and the fact that he was dealing with it on his own made things so much more difficult, but there was no way he could tell Logan. He couldn't imagine her thinking he wouldn't be around, he had to continue the lie.

''Logan?'' he called out when he walked into their room and couldn't see her.

''In here,'' her voice came from the bathroom.

Tony walked in to find her in a bath filled with bubbles, candles lit around the sides.

''Where was my invitation?'' he asked with a playful grin.

Logan chuckled before letting out a long sigh, sinking into the hot water.

''My back is killing me,''

''Here,'' Tony moved over and sat on the side of the bath, putting his hands on Logan's back a massaging it. ''So, I guess we should think of some boy names,''

''I'll start tomorrow, I'm too tired to read,'' she yawned. ''But I'm glad we know now,''

''Me too,''

Logan reached her hands out and ran water over her legs as she pulled them up, playing with the bubbles as Tony ran his hands over her back. It was perfect, but when she felt her eyelids become heavy, she soon got out and put on her pajamas, lazily throwing herself on the bed. Tony managed to take a shower and join her in bed in record timing, wrapping his arms around her.

''Thanks for going through all this,'' Tony kissed her forehead. ''I'd be complaining all the time if I had to be sick every morning and be sore,''

Logan laughed and rested her head on his chest.

''It's all worth it,'' she sighed, closing her eyes. ''Wanna know a secret? When I found out I was pregnant...I didn't think I'd want to be. I didn't think I'd want to be a mother, I didn't want to. But after a while, after I told you, all I wanted was to meet our kid, be a mom and love this baby more than anything. I just...never thought I'd have a family, and now we're going to have a son, it's crazy,''

Tony smiled as he listened to her.

''I never thought I'd have a family either, I never thought I'd have a lot of things until you showed up,'' he whispered. ''And I'm glad you did,''

So I thought i'd do a little domestic chapter with no drama going on, a look into their life now, hope you enjoyed. Please review.
