Hey guys, shorter chapter here, but it's not the last yet, so stay tuned!

Tony had put every ounce of power left in the suit into getting him back to Malibu. As soon as Logan mentioned the baby, Tony didn't care about anything else going on. Nothing he did that night mattered, nothing that Vanko said mattered to him, his entire focus went onto his wife and their child.

''Logan? What's going on now?'' he asked again after a short moment of silence.

''It's okay,'' she breathed heavily. ''It's not so bad anymore,''

''Just keep talking to me okay? I'm almost there,''

''Okay,'' Logan nodded to herself. ''I'll just breathe through it like the doctor said,''

''Yeah, just breathe through it, keep breathing, I'm on my way Logan,''

''I know, I just wish you were already here. Okay, something's hurting again, it's not so bad,''

Tony pushed the suit as hard as it would go, making a red warning light start flashing on his H.U.D, but he ignored it and kept going. Logan said she was in a black mercedes and since she had her cell, Tony was able to pinpoint her coordinates and find her. He was beyond glad that he was in the suit because if he wasn't there was no way he was going to be able to get from New York to Malibu in time.

Logan had been rubbing circles on her stomach for twenty minutes trying to calm the pain that kept coming on and off, wishing that she wasn't sitting in a car on the side of the road with two guards potentially coming after her. However another ten minutes later, Logan could faintly see a flying bolt of light coming toward her and she sighed loudly in relief.

Once Tony's feet were on the ground, he let the suit dissemble around him and rushed over to the car, opening the door and leaning down beside her.

''Hey, hey, I'm here now,'' he reached up to cup her cheek. ''How do you feel?''

''Scared,'' she told him in a trembling voice. ''I'm supposed to have this baby in two days, not now!''

''Hey we're gonna be fine, you're gonna be fine, everything's fine, it's all fine,'' Tony told her hurriedly, his words sending him into a panic. ''Uh, okay, we have to go to the hospital obviously,''

Logan nodded, her expression mixed as if she was about to burst into tears. With everything that had been going on these past few days, she hadn't had a break to think about labor or what to do when it all began, it was just a constant stream of drama and now when she had just gotten away from Hammer's useless guards who had wasted her evening, this happened.

Tony helped her out of the driver's seat, walking her to the other side of the car and holding her hand as she sat down. Then he ran over and jumped into the driver's seat, pushing his foot to the floor and hoping to speed his way to the hospital. His suit was now in a compact case on the side of the road, but it was unable to be accessed by anyone else and had a tracking device, not that it was even on his mind right now.

Gripping the side of her seat until her knuckles went white, Logan groaned in pain as she tried to calm her breathing. Tony reached over and put her hand out for him to hold, instantly aware of how much pain she was in when she squished his hand in hers.

''Painful?'' he asked.

Logan glared over at him, her other hand now resting on her large stomach. Tony turned away quickly, not wanting to agitate her anymore and instead focusing on getting her to the hospital. This wasn't the way they wanted this to happen, but everything else in their life was chaotic, it all made sense for their child to show up at a very inconvenient time like right now.

''I can't do this,'' Logan shook her head, tears threatening to spill.

''Hey, yes you can,'' Tony encouraged. ''After everything you've done and what we've been through, this is going to be a breeze,''

''Really? Are you the one pushing this kid out of you?''

Tony flinched slightly in fear.

''I know it's scary babe, and I hate that you have to go through all the pain, but I'm gonna be right beside you the whole time I promise, we'll get through it together,''

Logan squeezed his hand again, biting down in pain.

''I can't do it, Tony I can't,'' she cried. ''I'm not ready, I can't do the birth, I can't be a mom, I'm just not ready,''

Tony ran his thumb along her hand soothingly, looking over to her briefly as he drove.

''You're never gonna be ready, no one is. No one is fully prepared to be a parent Logan, no one knows what they're doing, but once that baby is in your arms it'll all change,'' he encouraged again. 'You won't be alone in this, you'll never, ever be alone. Do you think I'm ready to be a dad? I left Pepper on a roof tonight and blew up the whole Expo,''

Logan's eyes widened.

''You...you blew it up?! What the hell happened!''

''I'll save that story for another time,'' he shook his head. ''The point is, I'm not ready either, but when I think about our son and watching him grow up, it'll all I want,''

Logan's lips turned into a smile, tears still running down her face.

''Me too,''

When they finally made it to the hospital, Tony had threatened enough people to secure Logan a room and the best midwife on duty, rushing her down the hall in her wheelchair. Logan was clutching her stomach and breathing in and out through her nose, trying to stay calm as Tony panicked. They both weren't the best as handling this situation, but at least now they were somewhere people knew what they were doing.

''Okay Mrs. Stark?''

''Yeah,'' Logan nodded, her eyes still closed as she focused on breathing.

The nurse knelt down beside Logan and grabbed her attention, watching as she opened her eyes and listened.

''Your contractions are far enough apart that we can go right into the delivery room now,'' she informed.

Tony and Logan stared at the nurse with worry.

''Isn't that too soon? I mean, shouldn't we check that the baby-''

''The baby's doing fine, I looked at your file and although you're not due for two more days, it's perfectly fine for your baby to arrive now. Have you been under any stress today?''

Logan looked up at Tony with a bit of a grin before turning to the nurse.

''You could say that, yeah,'' she nodded before her eyes widened again, her hand gripping Tony's with all the strength she had. ''Owwww!''

Tony cupped her cheek again and pushed the hair away from her face, cringing in pain as he watched her push through a contraction.

''I'm sorry,'' he shook his head. ''It'll all be worth it,''

''I know,'' she nodded. ''Can we...can we just do this?''

''I'll have to get you into a gown and then we can take you to the delivery room,'' the nurse nodded. ''Mr. Stark, you can wait here-''

''No, I'm coming,'' he argued. ''I'm not leaving her,''

''Okay, well follow me,''

Tony had held her hand through the whole thing, he had witnessed his wife do something absolutely amazing. Logan had never been through anything like it. The pain, the effort, the exhaustion, it was all way more intense than anything she had done before in her life, but it all didn't matter once their baby was in her arms. With beads of sweat still on her forehead, doctors still crowding her in the room and Tony by her side, she looked into the eyes of the little boy she had carried for nine months.

His big brown eyes were just like Tony's, but he argued they looked like hers. Tony had never felt something so strong before. He knew he loved Logan more than life itself, but with just one glance at his son, he knew a whole new level of love. The baby boy's chubby cheeks were Logan's favorite thing, her finger gently running over them repeatedly as their son slept peacefully in her arms. They didn't even notice when they were moved to her private room, their eyes on their son the whole time.

''I have never loved you more,'' Tony pressed a kiss to his wife's forehead.

Logan looked up at him with a genuinely happy smile, bliss radiating from her.

''We're finally a family,'' she cried with joy. ''I love him so much,''

''Me too,'' Tony reached down and cradled his son's head. ''He's amazing. Thank you,''

''I didn't do it myself,''

''Without you I wouldn't have him, I wouldn't have a family or be a father. You gave me this and I love you for it,''

Logan looked up and pressed a kiss to his lips.

''I love you too,''

When they were left alone in their room, Logan and Tony didn't say a word. All they did was stare at their son, marveling at everything about him. He was beyond adorable, beyond perfect and already the love of their lives.

''He's perfect,'' Logan whispered, watching as her son slept in Tony's arms who laid beside her.

''Well yeah, he's a Stark,'' Tony joked. ''But to be fair, he gets all his perfectness from his mother,''

''That's sweet and I agree entirely,'' she leaned over and rest her head against his shoulder.

''I can't believe we made him,'' Tony shook his head in awe. ''Look at him,''

''I don't think I'll ever stop,''

''You're amazing, you know that right? I can't believe what you went through,''

''I'm not the only woman to ever give birth,''

''The only one I've witnessed, and I will do whatever you want for the rest of my life after seeing what you went through,''

Logan smiled.

''I'll hold you to that, I hope you know,''

''Fine by me,'' Tony chuckled, moving his hand to comfort his son who moved for a moment, getting comfortable.

They sat in silence for a while longer, staring and smiling at their son and all the tiny things he was doing. His little fingers reaching out, his lips moving, his eyes flickering open and closed. They would never tire of it.

''He still hasn't got a name,'' Tony remembered.

''Well, I have one to put on the table,'' Logan suggested. ''It's adorable and fits perfectly,''

''Oh yeah? What it is?''

''Cooper,'' Logan grinned. ''What do you think?''

''Cooper Stark, I like it. It's way too cute to waste on someone else's baby,''

Logan giggled.

''He looks like a little Cooper,''

''Cooper Stark,'' Tony repeated. ''Agreed,''

''What about a middle name?''

''We'll figure it out later, let's just...bask,''

Logan nestled in closer to him, completely content with her life at this moment. Although it all happened so fast and no one else, including family, even knew yet, everything was perfect in that moment. They were a family.
