Red Arrow watched as Cheshire was locked up in a cell. He caught after she tried to kill Lex Luther. Cheshire was going through her moves while Roy just watched her.
"You know I'd rather be around your sister. She's more interesting"
"What?" Red Arrow said.
"Come on Roy, don't tell me you don't remember me"
"I don't know who you are. All I know is that you work for the League of Shadows and want Lex Luther dead"
"I guess you don't, to bad I was hoping maybe we could talk, but anyway see you soon"
Roy was taken by surprise as the wall was blown in. Sportsmaster was in a helicopter which Cheshire got into. Roy went after them even following them to one of his grandfather's islands. Ra's wasn't sure how to come up with a way for Roy not to get hurt. Roy made his own plan and after his bow broke jumped into the water.
Later on Roy got home to see Artemis and Dick watching a movie. They had a bowl of popcorn between them.
"Hey can I talk to you two privately?" Roy asked.
They both got up, Artemis turning off the TV. The three went into Roy's room and saw the concerned look on his face.
"Cheshire knows us" Roy stated.
"You mean your identity as Roy Harper" Artemis guessed.
"No, she knows us from when we were younger before coming here" Roy corrected.
"How is that possible?" Dick asked.
"It's pretty simple Richard" a voice said from the window.
"Cheshire" Artemis spat.
"Don't look so please to see me" Cheshire taunted.
"Give us answers now" Roy ordered.
"Fine, I know you three from before you moved here"
"How?" Dick asked.
"We grew up together till you three went missing"
"Missing?" Artemis looked at her brothers.
"You three were to be the best, but nine years ago you just disappeared. Your caretakers didn't know where you went. No one did"
"Caretakers, who were they?" Dick asked.
"They were responsible for you while you were training to be assassins"
"Why were we training?" Dick asked.
"You three were said to have special blood of two very talented people"
"Who were our parents?" Roy asked.
"No one knows"
Cheshire then heard the door open and went out the window. Bruce and Talia entered looking worried.
"Are you three okay?" Bruce asked.
"You all have seemed out of it lately. Does it have to do with the team or something?" Talia asked.
Roy saw his younger siblings look at the floor. He did that also unsure what to say to his parents.
"You can tell us anything" Bruce assured.
"Mom, dad; we think we might know someone who has the answers we need on something" Artemis explained.
"What do you mean?" Talia asked.
"They mean that they finally know what they were meant to be at birth" Cheshire informed coming back through the window.
Bruce pulled out a batarang pointing it at Cheshire while Talia glared at her in protectiveness of her three children.
"No don't" Roy stated.
"Your children were meant to be assassins and I knew them before they moved here" Cheshire explained. "When I first saw Artemis I realized who she was and then saw her and her brothers. I knew who they all were for certain as I watch them from a window"
Bruce lowered the batarang slowly, but Talia was still glaring at Cheshire. Talia walked right up to Cheshire.
"You try to take them. You do something that will harm them so you can bring them back to wherever. Nothing will keep you safe" Talia threatened.
"You think I would want to bring them back. What so they can take my place?" Cheshire laughed. "Not happening"
"Good now leave this property or else" Talia ordered.
Cheshire went back over to the window, but quickly flashed a grin at Roy who just looked up.
"See you another time" she quickly left.
"Mom I've never seen you that way before" Artemis said shocked.
"I just don't want you three to end up like me" Talia informed. "Life as an assassin is dangerous for your ages"
"Also we don't want to lose you three" Bruce added. "You guys are our lives and we'd fall apart if something happened to you"
Artemis and Dick both nodded leaving for their own rooms. Talia saw Roy sit on his bed with his head in his hands.
"Roy" Talia placed a hand on his shoulder.
"You guys are my parents and I won't let our family be broken up" Roy promised.
"We know now get some rest. You had a long day" Bruce instructed.
Roy laid down on his bed closing his eyes. Artemis and Dick did the same in their own rooms. The three fell asleep immediately.
