Artemis was walking with another blonde girl towards the entrance of school. Dick came running over and took a picture of him and his sister.
"We'll laugh about this one day" he told her and then ran off.
"What was that about?" the girl asked with a smile.
"No clue, but that's usual for my little brother" They continued walking inside.
Later on that day the two siblings met up by the phone booth. Robin let his sister go first and when arrived he saw she was fighting something.
"What's going on?" Robin yelled. Artemis grabbed her little brother dragging him away.
They saw a flame coming their way. Through the attack they both were scared, but Artemis was the most scared. Her brother was able to relax her, but it wasn't very useful. She almost lost it when he was consumed in water and was unconscious. As she hid in a vent she brought her knees to her chest.
Joker's laugh rang through the air. The three kids watched as he got closer to them and was twirling a crowbar. Arsenal was in front of his younger siblings with an arrow pointed at Joker. The clown only laughed as he continued and Arsenal let it go at him. Joker was able to dodge it and grabbed Arsenal's arm. The boy struggled till he felt a hit that sent him into a wall.
"Arsenal" Huntress yelled as she watched him lay still.
"Aw are you scared for your big brother?" Joker asked with a laugh.
Robin stepped forward and swung his staff at Joker. He used the crowbar to knock it away and then smacked him in the arm with it. Robin released a cry as Joker hit him in the head. He fell to his knees and then was smacked again knocking him over to Arsenal. Huntress watched him hit the wall and remain still as he landed on the ground.
"Robin" she cried and saw Joker still coming.
"Time for bed" Joker laughed and she clenched her fist.
Firing her crossbow she was able to push him back. Joker quickly shook the attack off and ran at her. She kept herself dodging each swing and then noticed a figure coming towards the window.
"Stay still" Joker ordered as he almost collided with her head.
"Leave my family alone Joker" a gruff, threatening voice ordered from above.
Batman came down hitting Joker in the face. The clown went flying back and was immediately hit again by Batman. Soon Joker was unconscious and cuffed. Batman saw Huntress on her knees with her head down. He kneeled down in front of her and she wrapped her arms around his neck.
"Daddy" she cried. "I was so scared"
"It's okay" he whispered to her and carried her over to her brothers. "I need to check on your brothers now"
Huntress saw the cuts and bruises on each boys' face. She felt like she allowed this to happen and was useless to help them.
Artemis cried into her knees feeling like she was useless to help Robin.
"Arsenal I need you" she cried.
Artemis heard a voice in her head telling her to pull it together. She decided to help her brother this time. When she was able to shut down the two robots she ran to her brother. She relaxed when he woke up.
"Way to get traught" he laughed.
Soon Red Tornado arrived seeing the state of the mountain. He touched the neck of one of the robots and start sucking the air out of the room. All the teens fell unconscious and for their mentors to find them. When they woke up Red Tornado and the two robots were gone. The teens all were either sent home or to their rooms. Artemis and Robin arrived at the bat cave to have Talia come running to them. Roy joined her as they both fell to their knees.
"Are you guys okay?" he asked worried and Artemis clung to her mom.
"Mommy I was so scared" she cried and felt someone pull her into their arms.
"It's okay" her dad's voice whispered to her.
"Daddy, I'm sorry I couldn't help them"
"You did" he told her and wiped her tears away.
"But Dick could've drowned and all I did was be scared"
"He didn't and you weren't prepared for what you had to face"
"Yeah, I'm fine now" Dick told her with a smile.
The siblings hugged each other. Roy hugged them both and Talia smiled at them. Bruce nodded and watched them go upstairs.
"What happened?" Talia asked when they were gone.
"We think that Red Tornado might have betrayed us and allowed two other robots to attack the mountain"
"What? The teens could've been injured. Our kids could've died" Talia exclaimed looking like she wanted to punch something.
"I know, we arrived to see the teens unconscious. Artemis and Dick were both laying still"
"They're fine now Bruce. A little scared, but fine" Bruce looked at his wife and nodded.
They went upstairs to see the teens on the couch asleep. They smiled putting a blanket over them.
