"So, I have to do a report on some guy named Bron Javis or something. I was going to force myslef to take my ass to the libary but I just couldn't let you sit here alone, you know? Plus with all these girls crowding you... I thiiiink you might just get raped in here." Joker explained, playing with a peice of red hair that fell out of his spiky ponytail.

He switched and let his hair go, finding one of his four earrings much more time consuming to fiddle with. "And that's why I'm not doing research right now. Aren't I such a good friend?" He asked with a small smile. Joker always made up excuses to get out of work.

Haku frowned, "No." He turned away from him to finish eating his burger. After he chewed a swallowed he fixed him with a bored stare. "You didn't have to stop here. You just saw me in the window and you decided that I'd be the perfect excuse to get out of it. Don't be a moron." After what happened when they walked to school, Ciel decided to drop the act. He didn't even know why he wanted new personalities for his characters. He guessed it was the hidden feeling of 'What if I was somone else? What if I was born in this time period, no demon, and free?'.

Well, he went back to being himself. He doesn't need to now that he is Ciel Phantomhive and will act like so. He huffed and glanced out the window of the booth the were in. They were currently in a McDonalds, something that Ciel partically didn't like but he had skipped lunch to stay with Sebastain in his room. Sebastian has been acting very odd since yesterday. He watches him very closely, pushing past every emotion that he saw in Ciel to find something.

It unnerved him to have so much of Sebastains attention all of a sudden. Ciel played yesterday and this morning through in his mind and couldn't come up with anything. Nothing clued him in on why his demon was acting the way he was now. He suddenly appeared with Ciel was out of it. Now that he thought about it closely, something akind to hunger was in Sebastains eyes.

So was that it? Was he right in thinking that Sebastain hungered a soul? Well, then that demon sound just say so! Still... something doesn't quite add up. If he was hungry, why did he spill tea on him of all things? Haku slipped the straw of his strawberry lemonade in his mouth and nibbled on it. What the hell was Sebastian hiding?

"Ciel..." Haku snapped back to reality when he heard his name being called from no other than Joker. How does he know his name? Joker was supposed to be completely oblivious to Ciel Phantomhive and now..!

Joker looked over to Haku when he felt his friends stare. He took the horrified look as a confused one and scowled. "I'm taking French, don't you remember? I raved about it the first time I met you. It's a hard class but it will be worth it to sweet talk ladies so I'm practicing on the words I learnt so far." Joker gave a grin at the still on guard Haku. Haku ignored what he just said completely. "Why did you say Ciel?" He asked, eyes narrowing slightly.

The redhead rolled his eyes, "Apparently your in one of your thinking modes- well, before you suddenly got out of it by me saying Ciel of all things when I was saying more French words than that. Didn't I just say I was taking French?" After a moment he spoke up again, "Ciel means-"

"Sky."

Joker blinked at him the gave a half-hearted glare. "Show-off. Your not even taking French."

"I speak some French and half of my family is French." He mumbled then he snapped his eyes shut and grit his teeth. Damn! Second slip up today!

"So your Japanese, French and British?"

"Where did you get British from?"

"Your accent." Joker stated simply, finishing off his fries.

Ciel inwardly groaned. He never changed his accent since it was something he grew up with and now he knows was talking like that without even knowing with all his characters. Damn. Third slip up from the get go. Joker was really too smart for his own good, no matter what his report card says, he's starting to dig into Haku's life and now he knows more information then any other people in this time knew! Right now, Joker was staring at him, seemingly analyzing him.

When he saw Jokers lips part with undoubtly a question about his reaction on the tip of his tongue he stood up abruptly with a small forced smile. "I have to get home now." He swiped his bookbag from off the floor and started walking off before Joker could stop him. As soon as he exited the automatic twin doors a car pulled up next to him. Haku took one look at the car and got in immediately.

Sebastian glanced over to his master as he skillfully went around slow drivers to get home faster without breaking the speed limit. When he finished his papers and got out of school his lord was not waiting for him at the nearby park as per usual. He had to track him down through the contract only to find him with that student with the piercings that claimed himself his masters friend. He was surprised to see that Ciel was eating in a fast food restaurant as a Earl such as himself but he guessed the time period was getting to him and now he doesn't think of himself as such. 'Still has his pride though.' He thought with a small smirk that was quickly wiped away when he heard Ciel shift in his seat.

As they pulled up to the house Ciel had reverted to his normal form, school clothes now baggy on his slim form. Sebastian turned the engine off and pocketed his keys. He got out the same time as him and walked ahead his his master to unlock to door for him. The demon place his hand on the knob, the purple seal of the contract on his hand glowing. The door immediately unlocked and he pushed the door open, waiting for his lord to walk in. This time he did not follow the boy but stood at the step.

"I'm going to do what you ordered this morning, young master." Sebastian said as he watched the boy go deeper into the house. He only got a simple 'Fine' before he bowed and closed the door. The contract sealed glowed once more, signaling that the door was locked. He had to keep his lord safe from burglars now doesn't he? Sebastian headed off onto the approaching night of the full moon to collect his masters necessities.
