Lucy POV
Several Days Later
"When is that guy going to show up?" Lily groaned as she lay down on the couch.
We were in a house that Mystogan allowed us to live in during our time here in Edolas. Currently, my team, Team Apex plus Naomi and Lily were here while Throran and Ajax went out with Team Natsu to get supplies for the journey to the old ruins as everyone around here calls them. The rest of Star Legion was running around Edolas, exploring and being careful to not get in trouble.
"I don't know," I said, "Don't ask me."
She stuck out her tongue and went "pft" at me. I felt my eye twitch as I sat there staring at her. Suddenly, the door was thrown open as Orin walked in, a frown on his face and soaking wet.
"Dylan and Gray had a fight," he said, "They soaked me."
"Why'd they have a fight?" we asked as he left for the shower.
"Dylan thought Gray loved Juvia, he challenged him to a fight."
"Who lost?" Juvia asked, her eyes wide.
"Both of them," he said as he took off his soaked shirt, "Gray got drowned to unconsciousness and Dylan got froen into an ice cube."
"Oh."
"So," I said as he left into the bathroom, we sat back down and looked at each other, "What do we do now?"
"Well," Lily said as she tilted her head so much that she fell onto her side on the couch, "Let's go get something to eat."
"Naomi?" I asked and I caught her staring where Orin was standing, cheeks tinted red, "Naomi?"
"Hm," she hastily said, realizing I caught her blushing, "Yes?"
"We're you staring at Orin?"
"WHAT!?" she screeched and Lily started giggling causing the energy mage to glare at her, "No."
"Okay, but anyway, you want to go grab some dinner or do something else?"
"I'm sorry," she said and got up, "I've just got to much on my mind."
With that she left for her room in the building and we all looked at each other again.
"She's still worried about Revan," Lily said, speaking in a sad tone.
"WE'RE BACK!" we heard as Natsu kicked open the door, towing a huge bag of what was probably full of food.
"Sup," Throran greeted as he plopped down next to Lily on the couch.
"Hello," Erza said, walking in with a plate that had a slice of strawberry cake on it.
"Where's Gray and Dylan?" Juvia hastily asked and on cue they appeared.
"Hi," Gray said, coughing up some water.
"He-hel-llo J-J-Ju-Juvia," Dylan said as he walked in, shivering and much paler then he was before.
"So, what'd you get," Lily asked as she turned over onto her back on the couch.
"Food, Medicine, more of those X-Balls from Mystogan, and somemore crap," Ajax said as he towed in his own bag, the same size as Natsu's.
We started unpacking all of it and repacking it into special enchanted bags we brought here from Earthland, they wouldn't let the contents inside becomed spoiled in any way so they helped with traveling.
"So, dinner anyone?" I asked and everyone nodded.
"Alright!" Natsu shouted, but I smirked.
"Sorry, Star Legion members only."
"WHAT!?" he shouted in anger and we all snickered while Erza smacked him with an armored hand, telling him to respect our wishes.
She dragged him and Gray to their shared room with Happy flying behind, snickering into his paws.
"Hey," Orin said as he walked out into the living room, wearing his signature midnight blue pants with a short sleeve pitch black shirt along with his black coat and his hood lowered showing his bone white hair. His red sunglasses were lifted above his forehead showing his grey irises.
"Hey back," Ajax said.
"Where's Naomi?" he asked and we looked around.
"Must still be in her room," I answered and he shrugged, but I saw a slight look of disappointment cross his face.
"Come on!" Lily whined as she started dragging Throran and Ajax out the door, "I wanna eat!"
"Hold on," Levy said as she grabbed a book from her backpack and walked out with Gajeel, Pantherlily, Wendy, Carla, and Juvia.
"Wait for me!" I yelled at them, but I looked back at Orin as he laid down on a couch, "Hey?"
"Hm?" he asked and I gestured at Naomi's room, "What?"
"You like her don't you?"
"WHAT!?" he shouted and fell off the couch.
I tried hard not to laugh, but I managed to only slightly stifle it down making it a a pretty loud snicker.
"I have no idea what you're talking about," he said, denying my claim.
"Oh yeah, then why did you look disappointed when I told you she was still sulking?"
His cheeks turned bright red and I smiled as he rubbed the back of his neck.
"Fine, I have a crush, but don't tell her, please."
"Fine," I said, "but only if you do a favor for me."
"What?" he asked.
"Take her out on a date."
"WHAT!?"
"Just do it," I said and he gaped at me.
"You want me to take her out on a date!?"
"You can say that I made you do it, but she needs a distraction from worrying about Revan," I said and he looked at me, thinking about it before nodding.
"Alright," he said and walked down to her room.
He began knocking on it and we could hear a cracked voice call out.
"What?"
"It's Orin."
"What do you want?"
"I just wanted to know... if you wanted to go get some dinner?" he asked nervously, rubbing the back of his head while his pale cheeks turned as red as Revan's lasers.
The door unlocked and Naomi's head popped out, her mouth gaping and bloodshot eyes as wide as dinner plates.
"You want to what?" she asked and he twidled his fingers.
"Well, Lucy wanted me to take you out and I, I-"
"Okay," she said and he stared at her.
"Really?"
"She want's you to take my mind off of Revan, doesn't she?"
"Well... yeah," he answered and she slightly smiled.
"Thanks," she said and closed the door.
She reappeared a little bit later in fresh clothes and they walked over to me.
"Come on," I said and we all rushed to meet back up with everyone.
A Couple Hours Later
"So you what?" I asked as we shared stories.
"So after I flew the guy up to like, a hundred feet into the air, he started crying and whimpering for me to put him back on the ground without dropping him." Ajax laughed and we all laughed along.
"These stories don't seem to hold any real purpose," Carla scoffed and Wendy poked her.
"They're just fun stories," she replied and Carla just huffed.
"Alright, it's my tur-" Lily got cut off as Carla gasped, her eyes widening and her arms dropping to her sides as she stared off into space.
"Is something wrong?" Pantherlily asked and she snapped back into reality.
"I... I just had a vision."
Carla POV
I huffed at Wendy's comment and sighed silently as the Lily girl began her own story. Suddenly, the familiar snapping sensation in my head sprang up. I lost control of my body as my mind shifted to the Cosmic Plain, watching events of the future.
I saw the Orin boy and Naomi fighting the large man whose life was ruined by Acnologia. Orin was dodging attacks and Naomi was swinging around her energy swords, but the man just blocked them with the armor on his arms as if they were shields. He swatted away the energy mage and punched Orin in the chest, sending him flying across the grey ground covered in dust and ash.
He coughed up the ash and dust in his lungs and looked up as the man walked over and raised his fists, preparing to drop them and crush the Black Dragon Slayer. Suddenly, a sword made of pure energy pierced through his chest, stabbing through the metallic device on his torso that held his tank full of luminous red fluid. Blood and liquid magic leaked out as he looked down at it.
He turned around to face Naomi who cautiously walked back, but she wasn't fast enough as his large hands gripped her arms to her sides. Lifting her up, he thrusted her towards him, towards the blade protruding from his chest.
Before she was impaled, the vision changed and I saw another vision.
A woman with dark violet hair fought the Darkseid guild master. She summoned blasts of bluish white streaks that shot out from her hands. Her fist in the palm of her other hand, she thrusted it forward and shot more flurries of blusih white spears that flew at him. He just fired off a dozen purple Energy Seekers just as Revan did.
They blasted each other and created a large cloud of light blue and purple sparkles that slowly floated down like snow. His eyes began to burn the color of glowing purple like black magic and he fired two lasers of purple energy that sliced through her right leg which was made of ice.
Suddenly, the vision shifted again, this time it was the man from the Fairy Tail photograph, shaggy raven black hair flying in the wind as his luminous blue eyes burned with rage. He wasn't wearing the Star Legion's guild master's signature trench coat or his hooded jacket or shirt, in fact he wore some kind of steel and crimson armor. He held a large sword, twice his size glowing with blue and gold energy.
Across from him stood a man who looked exactly like him save for his eyes which were a glowing red color like burning fire pits, small red suns burning crimson. He snarled at the ex-Fairy Tail mage and raised his own blade.
They charged at each other, the ex-Fairy Tail member swinging his glowing blue and gold sword while the clone swung a sword comprised of a glowing purple material.
Then, I was brought back to reality.
"Is something wrong?" Pantherlily asked and I looked at everyone.
I could tell by their expression that they thought I had seen a ghost.
"I... I just had a vision."
Lucy POV
"YOU SAW WHAT!?" we all shouted as she explained everything.
"I was about to die?" Naomi asked and Carla shrugged.
"My visions could have different outcomes, an example would be when the Exceed queen believed that Edolas would run out of magic naturally, but it was all sent to Earthland by humans."
"So she may or may not die?" Orin asked, a little relieved and Carla nodded.
"But you also saw the ex-Fairy Tail member, Revan?" Lily asked, putting air quotes around his name.
"Yes, but I'm not sure if he was our guild master."
"Wait," Levy said, "There was also a clone of the guy too?"
Carla nodded again and we all stared at each other.
"This is disturbing news," Naomi said, slouching into her chair, exhausted by the news, "but it still helps us."
"How?" we asked.
"Because now we know that the ex-Fairy Tail member's alive and Gray's mentor, Ur's out of Selina's control."
"She's right," Throran said, "Carla's vision had a lot of clue of the future."
"We better head back," Gajeel said, "Everyone else will want to know about this. Even Fairy Tail."
Suddenly, as we got up, a guard rushed into the restaurant we were in and ran over to us.
"Ma'ams and Sirs," he said and we all gave him confused looks, "King Jellal demands your presence at the Edolas Royal Bank."
"Why?" I asked and he began to explain.
"It is being robbed right now, by Edward Buckenhave."
"You mean that door to door salesman?" Lily asked and he nodded.
"Please follow me," he said and we followed him through the streets.
The crowds of people parted for us as we ran through the streets of the Royal City. The cool night air slightly cooled my skin as we ran, but the energy of finally getting some clues as to where Revan was kept me burning. We made it to a giant building, completely surrounded by guards.
"Why hello," Sugarboy said as we ran over, "Glad you could make it."
"Um, hi?" Wendy greeted, but Naomi stepped up.
"Where's Edward?"
"Inside," Coco said as she swiftly ran over to us, "And so is Erza Knightwalker, but she's been captured."
"Knightwalker's captured?" we heard and saw Erza run over with Gray and Natsu.
"We got the message about this," Gray explained and we nodded.
"Let's go," Lily said and ran past the guards, then into the building.
"Wait!" Orin yelled and we chased after the God Dragon Slayer.
Soon we came to a lobby area where there was nothing but the usual desks, tables and furniture.
"Where are they?" Erza asked.
"Wait," Natsu said, "You guys smell that?"
"Yeah," Gajeel said as he sniffed the air, "Smoke and blood."
Every dragon slayer sniffed the air and then looked down at the ground.
"They're underneath us," Wendy said and Throran grabbed his metal pole.
"Gather around tightly!" he shouted and a grey magic circle appeared around it before disappearing and transforming his metal base into a long gun that he pumped and shot small blots of what looked like grey clay with small blinking devices in it.
We stepped back and he pulled a second trigger on his magic gun. Magic circles appeared on the blinking devices and they exploded. We dropped down until we landed on the very bottom floor. Yellow light flooded the room and we got up, coughing up smoke and dust. There was the sound of weapons cocking and we looked around to see a dozen mages holding magic guns at us, each of them wearing the same uniform with the Darkseid insignia on it.
"You think you can just waltz right into my operation?" a man said as he strutted over to us, playing with a small gun.
He wore a fine jacket with large buttons and a buttoned up shirt underneath. His legs were covered with fine pants and he wore a mask like a large steel bucket helmet with a symmetrical face like block head. Glowing red eyes gleamed from underneath the helmet, showing from the eye sockets.
"Edward, stop this at once and tell us where the Darkseid Guild Master is as well as the Star Legion guild master," Erza ordered, but he just laughed.
"Darkseid and Star Legion guild master... never heard of them," he said and two Darkseid mages walked over, pushing a restrained Erza Knightwalker with them.
"What about you doll," he asked and ripped off the tape on her mouth, "Ever heard about these guys?"
She snarled and Edward shrugged so he gestured at two other men who pushed a man onto the ground. He gripped the dufel bag on the man's head and pulled it off revealing a young man with dirty, blonde hair and sea blue eyes. Knightwalker gasped and I noticed her mouth a name.
"Edward."
"What about you sir? You know these fine gentlemen?"
He ripped the tape off of his mouth and the man started spewing a stream of curses at him.
"You sonovab****! You think you can steal from me and get away with it!? You're a dead man! DEAD!"
The man with the mask just paced in front of him the whole time he cursed, holding his gun up, shaking it nervously before swinging it and smacking the man in the face.
"Why! Can't! You Just! Play! Along!?" he shouted as he beat the real Edward Buckenhave, smacking him with the gun before kicking him over and repeatidly slamming his foot into the merchant's stomach and chest.
After he calmed down he gestured at the men who threw Knightwalker at us and left Edward on the ground. They grabbed several bags of money and threw them in a magic mobile. They man began laughing as he walked over to the magic mobile's trunk and took off his helmet revealing raven black hair.
Our eyes widened as he turned around, showing crimson eyes.
"Who are you?" Naomi gasped as we stared at the Edolas version of the ex-Fairy Tail member.
"Oh, the name's Emalf Naver," he stated with a voice full of insanity, madness, and... joy?
"Emalf Naver," she murmured, "Revan Flame spelled backwards."
"Yes darling," he said and she scowled at the man.
"Emalf Naver," Knightwalker repeated, "The leader of Darkseid."
"What?" we all gasped and the man laughed.
Earthland Darkseid Leader POV (Yeah, that's a lot to put in)
Meanwhile
"The plans are proceeding as originally planned," Emalf's second in command stated as he walked up to me.
"Good," I said with my electronic voice, the breathing unit on my face contorting my normal voice that I had not used in years, "Now please, proceed with the operation."
He nodded and left, as the shadow tendrils came down from the ceiling. Adam bended the shadows to remove my mask and a groan and wheeze of pain escaped my charred face as the mask was removed.
"I'm sorry master," he said as he carefully set it in a glass bowl full of anti-bacterial water, sanitizing it. Several of the Edo-Darkseid mages came over to me, tools powered with the magic we had given to them in hand. They began to operate on me, healing the wound on my face caused by Revan Flame when he destroyed Darkseid all those years ago.
