Hello again viewers
Welcome back to Team Apex
I truly hope you liked the last story
I got a certain review about it asking for flashbacks for Emalf aka Edo-Revan aka Edo version of the ex-Fairy Tail member
So I've put that part in here
Or it could be in the next chapter
Purely depends on if I remember to put it in
So anyways, you get the point
In other news, the chapter starts now
Lucy POV
"Are you the Edolas version of Revan?"
"Maybe, maybe not," he laughed, "I honestly don't know what Revan looks like since he's always wearing his hood and the Darkseid leader of Earthland always wears the mask. However, we share the same hair color so I guess we're twins... Me and your world's Darkseid leader that is."
We just stared at him blankly as he laughed and joked around like a crazed lunatic. (I pretty much based this guy's personality off of Arkham Origins Joker)
"So dear children, why are you here?"
"To find Revan," I boldly stated, a little hint of fear in my voice as I said that.
He just laughed louder in that tone full of insanity and sadistic joy. Finally, he calmed down and stared at us with a large smile full of madness.
"Sorry kiddies, but Revan's ours," he stated before walking, well more of jumping up in down with each step to the magic mobile, well magic truck mobile.
He grabbed onto a pipe that stuck out on the back and leaned off of it, holding onto it with his right hand.
"Ciao!" he shouted as he pulled out a detonator and we reacted immediately.
Naomi pulled up an energy barrier while Gray created an extra coating of ice around us, including Edward who laid unconscious a little ways away. Dylan and Juvia added onto it with a water barrier. Small magic fueled explosives went off in the vault and a cloud of fire covered us. Everyone was sweating as the heat passed through the shields and heated up our skin like we were in a microwave.
Juvia and Dylan straightened up and pushed the water barrier, making it cover the fire and smother it out. Soon everyone dropped the barriers and we looked around. The ground and walls were charred, covered in ash and soot plus the ground was covered in a layer of an ash and water combined substance.
We walked out of the bank and saw smoke rising from different parts of the city, mostly from the royal castle.
"No," both Erzas growled, gritting their teeth, "It was a coordinated attack."
"They planned on this," Naomi said, "It was a simultaneous attack across the Royal City."
"Guys," we heard and saw Mystogan run over to us, a frown on his face and worry etched in all across it, "What just happened?"
"Your majesty," Knightwalker said, "We let him escape."
"How?" he asked.
"It was him," I said, "The Edo-version of Revan, or the Earthland Darkseid leader, I don't know, but whoever it was, it wasn't Edward."
"Yeah," a voice said and we turned around to see the blonde man get up, "I'm Edward."
"You are underarrest then," Mystogan stated, "You have betrayed the kingdom by selling weapons to the Darkseid guild."
"I didn't sell them weapons," he argued, "I went there, asked them if they wanted my fake weapons, but they laughed at me and brought me inside their guild hall. Turns out they had real magic weapons, completely legitimate."
"So you didn't sell them illegal weapons?" I asked and he shook his head.
"Oh," we all said, understanding what had really happened.
Several Hours Later
"So where'd you guys go?" I asked as we sat down in the meeting room again.
"We went to our guild hall, Darkseid hit us hard. They almost burned it to the ground, we put out the fire in time though," my Edolas counterpart answered.
"We had to protect the Royal guard's barracks," Edo-Lily stated, "Darkseid assaulted it, but we managed to fend them off."
"Wait," Erza said, "did you happen to see a girl in purple clothing and a guy who could fly?"
"Yeah," both Edo-me and Edo-Lily said.
"That girl, I think her name was Silena assaulted the Fairy Tail guild hall, used some kind of magic to revive dead people, pulled their spirits out of the ground," Edo-me explained, looking down in slight fear and terror, "She revived Master's and Lisanna's ghost and made them fight us."
The rest of the Edo-Fairy Tail shivered and the Strauss siblings were silently crying, tears streaming down their faces.
"We also saw that flying guy," Edo-Throran said, shifting nervously, the weapons on his back shifting and shaking, clanging against each other as he shook, "The guy flew guards into the air, dropped them from a hundred feet up."
"So the Earthland Darkseid is here," Erza said, "This makes matters worse, if both of the dark guilds are combined, then we're facing a threat far greater than anything we've ever faced before."
"She's right," Naomi said, "One Darkseid took down our entire guild hall down including our guild master, two could probably lay siege to the Royal City and take it."
Everyone in the room began to murmur amongst themselves. Soon the murmurs became louder until people were panicking and screaming.
"ENOUGH!" Mystogan shouted, having sat in his seat patiently and quietly as everyone got up to panic, "With our force crippled, we need to attack now."
"Now?" Lily asked, "but we're not ready."
"You have all your supplies don't you?"
"Yeah, but-"
"Then you're ready, find Darkseid, defeat them, and bring peace back to Edolas."
We all just stared at him, confused and worried, but I was the first one to nod my head in agreement.
"You can count on us," I cheerfully stated and everyone else began to nod.
Gajeel nodded and Levy cheered with me. Pantherlily just nodded along with Carla while Wendy joyfully jumped up and down as she nodded. Juvia said yes and Dylan agreed. Naomi and Lily both nodded along with Ajax and Throran. Team Natsu had grins on their faces as their heads went up and down in nods.
"Then leave immediately, you must stop them before they attack us again."
"Yes your majesty," I said and bowed.
Everyone else followed suit and we left the castle.
Several Days Later
"We're here," Lily stated, her usually peppy personality replaced with a stern one.
After we had left the castle we went back to the home we rented out and gathered everything. We left with the Edo-Star Legion, all of our supplies packed in backpacks and Erza's overly sized wagon. We walked across deserts until we came to grassy plains and from there into forests and over mountains.
Soon we made it to the other half of the mountain and saw grey everywhere. The ground was covered in ash and the sky was dusted with dark clouds that shot lightning from them. The wind blew occasionally and sent ash and dust flying. We made it down the mountain and crossed the dead land and until we came to a large hill over looking a familiar city.
"Is that?" I asked and everyone one of us who had been in Fairy Tail gasped.
"What?" everyone else asked.
"Magnolia," we all gasped as we saw the ruined city.
The buildings were partially destroyed and the ground was covered in dust and ash. Most of the buildings themselves had been cleared out making giant splotches of bare land with nothing, but small piles of rubble and mounds of dirt.
At the far end of the town laid a destroyed castle like building with a faded black symbol on it.
"The guild hall," Erza gasped as we stared at the old Fairy Tail symbol on it.
"There," Gray said and pointed at a group of Darkseid mages walking into the guild hall.
"They must've taken Magnolia," Levy gasped.
"No, they didn't," we heard and turned to see Throran walk over to us, "In times of old, when Dorma Anima was active, many of the great cities were destroyed. In that time the golden age of peace was broken and the rule of King Faust came."
"Indeed," we all heard and saw Faust walk over himself.
"Sir, I meant no-"
"It's okay my boy," he said, "but he is correct, Magnolia was one of the many cities that Dorma Anima destroyed years ago. It's nothing like Thendrall today."
"Thendrall?" we all asked.
"It's a major trading capital," Edo-Lily said, "Really nice place, that's where Fairy Tail was after Magnolia was destroyed and where they were chased out of for the first time."
"Oh," we said and noticed Faust lower his head in shame at the memory.
"Um, Lucy," Happy said and I ignored him, "Lucy?"
"What?" I asked, aggravated at him.
"What's that?"
We all turned around in time to see a rocket fly at us.
"JUMP!" Naomi screamed and jumped down the hill, sliding on the ash and dust all the way down.
We followed suit before the rocket hit, feeling the ground rumble as it struck the hill. Dust and ash flew everywhere as cloud of ash flew into the air and rained down onto us.
"Ow," I said as I landed and someone landed on me.
"Sorry," Wendy apologized and helped me up.
"Um, guys," Gajeel said as he got up, watching a dozen guns pointed at us.
"Well look what fate has brought us," the man with tubes going around him said.
"Who are you?" Naomi asked, creating two blades of pure energy.
"No," Carla whispered, loud enough for me and Wendy to hear.
I knew why she said it because this was going just like her vision said it would play out.
"I am Darc Naver," the man stated, "Second in command to Emalf Naver, my own brother."
"Yep," we heard the crazy voice of the Edo-Darkseid say.
Suddenly, he popped up from behind the large man, laughing insanely. He strolled around him and jumped up, grabbing onto his brother's shoulder.
"Can't you see the family resemblance!?"
We just stared at him, determined to keep our demeanor.
"Well you're no fun," he said while pouting, "Take care of them bro."
He left and Darc slapped his hand onto the device on his chest. Liquid magic began to flow into the tubes on him, going into his muscles and making them increase in size, probably juicing him up like crazy. He charged at us and we ran out of the way. The Darkseid mages began opening fire and we retaliated. I ducked under a guy as he swung his gun at me and I kicked him away.
He flew and hit a wall as I pulled out my whip and swung at another guy. He dodged, but before he could attack me Wendy shot a Wind Dragon Roar at him, blasting him and several others away. I saw Lily, Throran, and Ajax along with their Edolas counterparts fought back to back, fighting against the army of Darkseid mages.
Then, I saw Naomi and Orin, both of them fighting Darc with their full power. He was getting pushed back until he smacked away Naomi and punched Orin.
"No," Carla said again, louder this time, "My vision's coming true!"
"Not if I have anything to say about it," I shouted as I swung my whip.
Naomi had already impaled Darc and he had grabbed her, thrusting her towards the sword impaled in his chest. My whip moved towards them, aiming for his arm so he'd let her go. Suddenly, a blast of red shot through my whip, cutting it in half. I looked over and saw Emalf sitting on a roof, wearing magic powered armor.
He had his arm outstretched, pointing at where my whip was, the barrel on the gauntlet on his arm smoking. I heard a gasp of pain and turned to see Naomi on Darc's chest, her white shirt slowly turning crimson.
"NO!" Orin screamed as Darc threw her off of him, a hole in her chest, blood slowly pouring out.
He put his hands to his mouth as he breathed in deeply.
"Black Dragon Roar!"
He fired a beam of harsh white light that blasted away Darc, but he stood firm. All I could see in the Black Dragon Roar was the dark silhoutte of Darc Naver as he struggled to keep his ground, but slowly I saw him disappear into ash.
Orin was wheezing and gasping as he finished turning Darc to ashes with his dragon roar.
"Brother?" Emalf gasped, staring in shock and fear.
"Naomi," Orin whispered as he ran over and lifted the energy mage off of the ground, "Wendy!"
The Wind dragon slayer heard his call and ran over along with me, both of us staring at Naomi's dying form.
"Orin," Naomi whimpered, putting a hand on his cheek, "It hurts."
"Just calm down," he said, "Wendy will heal you."
Wendy placed her hands over Naomi's wound and they began to glow, the blood flow stopped, but Wendy began to sweat and breath in deeply before letting go of her magical hold. Blood began to pour again and Wendy just looked at us with a somber expression all over her face.
"I can't heal her, it's to deep of a wound."
"No," Orin whispered, "NO!"
"It's okay Orin," Naomi whispered as she turned pale and leaned up, kissing him on the lips before falling back down, "Just tell Revan his adoptive daughter came after him."
With that, she breathed her last and her head fell down. Orin just stared down at her dead form, tears slowly cascading down his face as he stared at the only person he ever loved.
Suddenly, a red glow enveloped us and I turned around in time to see a bolt of red shooting straight at us. I grabbed Wendy and jumped us out of the way as the blast headed straight for Orin. He looked up with rage filled eyes and shot a Black Dragon Roar, pushing back the laser.
"You MURDERER!" Emalf shouted as he stalked towards the dragon slayer, right and left arm held up, both gauntlets on them firing twin lasers, "I'm going to have a lot of fun burning you to cinders."
"NEVER!" Orin shouted and blasted him back.
They stared at each other before a building collapsed and they charged. I took my eyes off of the duel and looked around, staring at the battle around us. Natsu was blasting away whole groups of Darkseid mages while Erza was in the skies, taking down any of the dark mages that could fly. Gray was battling the Selina girl, sending giants spikes of ice protruding from the ground and stabbing at her as she dodged and made ghostly soldiers rise from the ground.
Gajeel and Levy were fighting Zod who flew in the air while Juvia was near the murky sea that was Magnolia's port, making the dark water rise up and wash away the dark mages around her. Then I saw Lily, she was on fire, literally. Ancient dragon fire licked her skin as she jumped around, a rainbow haired blonde teenager ran around, firing luminous blue flames at every Darkseid mage around her.
Our Edolas counterparts were doing the same thing, all of us pushing Darkseid back towards the ruined Fairy Tail guild hall.
"AH!" I heard and turned to see Gray holding Selina to the ground, pinning her arms to her side and keeping her legs down with his knees.
"Do you think it's fun!?" he shouted and grabbed her by her shoulders and pulled her up, gripping her neck with his arm and held her up against him in a hold, "Look around you! Is all of this death like playing on a playground for you, is every corpse falling to the ground another toy for you to play with!?"
She was gritting her teeth and snarled at him, spitting on his arm that was around her neck. It froze on impact and he just scowled at her before tossing her to the ground.
"You're worse than the Oracion Seis," he stated, "You just want nothing more than death."
She was glaring at him, hard before she screeched.
"YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING!"
"I know you're just a psychotic murdering killer!"
"That's not true," I heard her murmur, small drops of tears starting to drip from her eyes.
"Then why are you doing this? Why are you killing everyone!?"
"I haven't killed anyone!?" she screamed, but he just gestured around him, around all of us.
"Edolas lives in fear, Earthland lives in fear! Destin's a destroyed town, the Royal City was just hit by a terrorist attack, tell me that you weren't a part of that!?"
Suddenly, she started to glow as more tears slid down her pale cheeks.
"What have you done?" I heard and we saw Zod floating in mid-air.
An iron sword slashed him across the back and he fell to the ground. Gajeel and Levy ran over, getting in fighting positions next to him.
"You have no idea what you've wrought!"
"What?" Levy asked as she noticed Selina glowing.
"She was a part of the Magic Guild's testing program, they pumped her full of magical energy!"
"What does that mean?" I asked as the glow intensified so much me and Wendy had to cover our eyes.
"She can barely control her magic, only able to summon ghosts of the dead," he explained, "We've never tried to test her limits and we never hoped too."
"But we just pushed her to her limit," Gray gasped as the ground shook.
Ghostly blue figures rose from the ground, hundreds, no thousands of dead souls rose up bearing swords or spears. They began to attack everyone around them. Our Edolas counterparts managed to hold them off, but the Darkseid mages were hopeless against the legion of phantoms.
"Oh no," Wendy gasped and I saw Carla next to her, gaping and eyes wide in fear.
"Selina," I said as I turned to her.
She was curled up into a ball, crying her eyes out as ghosts passed over her and attacked us.
"Ice Make: Lance!" Gray shouted and thrusted his hands forward, firing a flurry of bluish white streaks that blasted away all of the ghosts.
"Selina," I said as I ran over to the Ghost mage, "Stop this."
"I can't," she stated, hugging her self as she cried out in pain, "It hurts, all of this magic."
"Isn't there anything you can do?" Levy pleaded and she looked, staring at Gray.
"Let me touch you," she said and Gray's face turned bright red.
"What?"
"Let me touch your forehead," she corrected and his cheeks turned back to their tan color.
He bent down and let her hand touch his forehead.
"Step back," she said and weakly stood up as we backed away.
"Ghost Magic," she stated, "RESURRECTION!"
There was a flash and she was engulfed in a bright purple light as a magic circle appeared underneath her. The glow faded and we looked back to see Selina gone, in her place laid a women with dark violet hair.
"It can't be," Gray gasped as he stared at the woman, "Ur."
"Gray?" she said and looked up, showing the woman I had seen before, but the cracks on her face were gone.
"You're alive," he cried out and ran over, hugging his mentor.
"I am?" she said and looked around, "What's happening? Where are we? Where's Deliora?"
"He's gone," Gray explained, "All of your other questions I'll explain later, right now we could use your help."
"With those things," she asked, pointing at the ghosts that ran around, fighting everything.
"Yeah," he answered and put his fist on his palm, "Ice Make: Lance!"
He fired a flurry of ice lances that pierced through a whole group of phantoms. The ghostly warriors turned to us and charged. Ur put her own fist on the palm of her hand and took a pose. She thrust her arms forward and shouted a spell.
"Ice Make: Rose Garden!"
Giant chunks of ice in the shape of roses blasted out of the ash covered ground and struck the ghosts, obliterating them as they surged towards us.
"Wind Dragon Roar!" Wendy shouted and sent a horizontal tornado into the ghostly blue army.
"Iron Dragon Roar!" Gajeel shouted afterwards and sent his own dragon roar at them.
"God Dragon Roar!" Lily finished and the three dragon roars combined to make a huge explosion, rocking and ground and making a cloud of ash and dust plume into the air.
The ghosts were gone, leaving only a giant crater in the ground where they were.
"That was easier done than said," I said and we all nodded.
Suddenly, there was a gasp and a cough. We all turned to see Orin cradling a living Naomi who was coughing violently.
"What?" she asked, looking around, "I'm alive?"
"How is that possible?" Erza gasped as we all stared at her.
The wound in her chest had closed, the hole gone only leaving a giant red stain on her white shirt. Orin took off his jacket and lended it to her as he helped her up to her feet.
"Guys," we heard and saw Ur, holding her fist in her palm, staring down the last ghost.
"Wait!" I yelled as I noticed who it was.
She stopped and looked at me, then back to the ghost of Selina. She wasn't wearing her usual attire, instead her shorts and tank top were replaced by a long dress. She smiled at us, cocking her head before she disappeared, turning into little lights that flew up into the sky like glitter.
"Was that?" Zod asked and we all looked at him, remembering he was here.
"Where's Revan?" Naomi demanded, glaring at him.
"I won't tell," he said and Throran walked over, taking off his metal pole and transforming it into a sword.
He placed the blade at Zod's neck, scowling at the dark mage.
"Tell us where are guild master it, Now!"
"Never," he said with a smile.
"Wait a second," I said as I looked around, "Where's that Emalf guy?"
"Oh, he's over there," Orin answered and gestured at a toppled building with an unconscious Emalf lying in a pile of rubble. His armor laid around him, broken into pieces and wiring.
"Wow," Naomi said, "You tore him up."
"He tried to kill me, what'd you expect?"
She just rolled her eyes and looked back at Zod.
"Tell us or we'll kill you."
"But you won't, your guild rules won't allow it," he said with a bigger smile.
"Their guild rules," Ur stated, making a knife made of ice appear in her hands, "but I'm not in a guild."
She swatted away Throran's hold and grabbed the collar of his shirt, holding the knife at his neck.
"I'm not afraid to take your life."
Sweat started to drip down his face and he finally gave in.
"He's below us, in the underground levels," he explained, "There's a vast network of corridors dug underneath us, lined with metal and filled with dark mages at every tur- AH!"
He screamed as a blast of red flashed behind him. Ur dropped him, letting him fall over to reveal a scorched hole in his back.
"He always was a talkative one, and a coward," we heard the familiar electronic voice say and turned to see the masked leader of our Darkseid standing there, "It would seem I'll have to finish this myself."
"You killed him?" Natsu gasped, "He was your own guild member!"
"He was an asset, he had out lived his use."
His eyes began to glow red as he charged up his attack.
"Energy Matter: Ome- Ah!"
He shouted in surprise as the floor suddenly turned to ice and he slipped. We all turned around to see Ur with her hands on the ground, ice coming from underneath her palms.
"Get going," she said, "I can handle him."
"But," Gray tried to argue, but Natsu grabbed the back of the collar of his shirt.
"Common Ice Princess, let's get a move on!"
Gray hesitated before nodding and following us into the run down Fairy Tail guild hall. The last image I got of Ur was her facing down the Earthland Darkseid guild master.
We looked through the place before finding a secret passage underneath the stage. We walked down the steps eventually reaching the metal corridors that Zod had said before he was... shot by his own guild master. We met Darkseid mages everywhere, but each time we just blasted them away, let it be Team Natsu or Team Apex. Even the Naomi, Lily, Ajax, Throran, and Orin got a turn.
"Wonder how our Edolas counterparts are doing?" Lily asked as we kept running.
"They can handle themselves," I said, "They are us after all."
Soon, we came to a large door, giant metal gates guarded by a group of dark mages.
"We don't have time for this," I said, "Open, Gate of the Ram, Aries!"
"I'm not suited for combat," she whined as the dark mages saw us and pointed their weapons.
"Can you do what you did before?" I asked and she nodded.
"Wool Bomb!" she shouted and made a giant explosion of pink wool push the Darkseid mages against a wall.
"It's so soft," one of them said, muffled by the wool in his face.
"Yeah yeah yeah," I replied as we walked towards the door, Aries disappearing back to the celestial spirit world after we got to it.
"Gajeel, your turn," Naomi stated and he grinned.
Walking towards it, he grabbed the giant lock with his teeth, tearing it off and eating it.
"Now this is some quality metal," he said, chowing down on it.
After eating through the lock, he thrust his fist into what remained of it and grabbed a metal gear. He started shifting some things and there was a loud clank as the gates unlocked.
"Here we go," Erza said and suited up in her Heaven's Wheel armor.
Natsu lit his fists on fire and Gray got in his Ice Lance pose. Lily followed Natsu's lead and Wendy nervously followed with Carla and Happy following. Pantherlily walked behind them, in his original form here in Edolas, the humanoid panther following with his giant sword in hand. Levy used her Solid Script magic to make the word "fire" appear in front of her while Juvia and Dylan had their arms turn into water, ready to douse anybody.
Naomi created her energy swords and Orin made claws of white energy while I pulled out Loki's key just in case. Gajeel pushed open the door. We charged in, holding out are various spells.
"By Mavis," Erza gasped as we walked over and saw what was on the far wall.
Large circuits, most of them the size of our arms snaked across the ground and moved up to the wall where a giant metal circle held up Revan. His arms were bound with metal cuffs powered by magical energy. Tubes ran out of his body, luminous blue liquid flowing out.
"What have they done to him?" Naomi gasped, small tears starting to pour out of her eyes.
"Is that?" Gray asked as he stared at the tubes, "Magic?"
"He's a battery," Erza stated, "An infinite source of magic, they were using Revan as a battery since he could naturally regenerate magic."
"Those monsters," Natsu growled, "Let's cut him loose."
"Wait," Levy said as she looked at a control panel, "I don't think we should."
"Why?" Happy asked and she started tapping the control pad.
"If we do, it could kill him. Magic energy is linked to our life force so if we take those off we could pull his life force out of his body."
We all stared at Revan, the once proud guild master of Star Legion now being used as a human battery to power a dark guild.
"Well how do we get him down?" Gajeel asked as he looked over her shoulder.
"Let me try something."
She pressed more buttons on the control panel and suddenly, there was the sound of steam escaping as the clamps holding Revan up opened. He dropped to the ground like a sack of bricks, gasping for air and moaning in pain.
"Father," Naomi cried out and hugged him.
We all just watched in happiness and joy at the family reunion.
"I still can't get over the fact that she's his adoptive daughter," Lily whispered to me.
"You didn't know?" I asked.
"No," she replied and we just watched awkwardly.
"Naomi," he murmured.
"Yes?" she asked, with a smile.
"I can't see."
"What?" she asked again, her smile turning into a worried frown.
"I can't see anything," he said and looked around, his hooded face looking around, passing over us.
"Oh no," Naomi gasped, "He's blind."
"That last attack," Wendy said and I remember when Revan and the Darkseid leader faced off.
"He blinded him," I gasped and we all looked at Revan with worried expressions.
Naomi helped him up to his feet and she slung his arm around her shoulder. Orin took his other arm and together they helped him limp because he was to weak to walk himself. Soon we came out of the destroyed guild hall and saw the battle.
Ur was on top of a pillar of ice, firing ice arrows from a bow made of ice.
"That's Ur alright," Gray said, "She's a master when it comes to Ice Make magic."
Ur was firing volleys of ice arrows at the Darkseid guild master as he flew around, using his booster magic like Revan. He flew up and shot his Omega Effect, obliterating the ice pillar. Ur was able to fall down with grace and made a ramp of ice to slide down.
Then, before she could slide off the ramp, he shot again and cut her right leg in half, melting the ice leg she had. She gasped in pain, probably feeling the intense heat coming from her makeshift leg. She fell to the ground, gasping for air and a pained expression on her face.
"No," Gray gasped as the Darkseid guild master slowly approached her limp form.
"Now, I end you," he said and lifted his arm up until his outstretched palm pointed to the sky.
A ball of purple energy formed in the palm of his hand and he swung his arm down, a blade of pure purple magical energy forming as he swung down until a full sword of energy was in his hand. He raised his sword, but a blast of ice shot past him.
"Leave her alone!" Gray shouted and used Ice Make: Floor to slide across towards him.
"Hey!" Natsu shouted as Happy grabbed him and flew them towards the dark mage, "You're going down!"
"Come on," Gajeel said, "This one's for Star Legion!"
Everyone charged forward, eager to get a piece of the Darkseid guild master. As we rushed him, I heard a single word escape his mouth as he stared at us with a bored expression.
"Pathetic."
He raised his other arm into the air and another ball of purple energy formed in his hands, but this one was a very dark shade of purple, almost black, but it had a glowing purple outline.
"Energy Make: Lightning."
Tendrils of black with glowing purple edges shot out from the ball of energy, shocking all of us.
"AH!" we all screamed in pain and fell over, twitching in shock.
"Finally, I have my revenge," he stated as he saw Revan lying on the ground.
"No," I weakly rasped, stretching out my arm towards him, trying to stop him in vain.
"Die," he said and raised his blade high.
"Nergy Mttr Meg ffct," Revan murmured.
"What?"
"I said," he corrected, looking up, a glowing red glow coming from underneath his hood, "Energy Matter: OMEGA EFFECT!"
He shouted in exhiliration as a beam of red energy shot from his eyes, zigzagging around until it struck the Darkseid guild master in the chest, sending him flying.
Revan stood up, his trench coat flapping in the wind as he stood proudly again.
"He's back," I heard and saw Naomi grinning.
"You... how?" the dark mage gasped in surprise, holding the scorch mark on his chest.
"Omega Effect is a powerful spell, only a few can use it," Revan stated, "I am one of those few."
"So am I."
"No," Revan retorted, "Energy magic requires the wielder to use their own body energy to power their spells. You use your rage, you can't control it so you expel it in the most exhausting way possible."
"You know nothing!"
"I know everything."
"Then tell me, who are you?" the Darkseid guild master asked and Revan tensed up.
"Revan!" I shouted, knowing what to do and he looked at us, "We know."
He relaxed and looked back at the dark mage, gripping his trench coat.
"Then there is nothing to fear."
He threw off the trench coat, also throwing off his hooded jacket at the same time. We all gasped as we saw raven black hair and luminous blue eyes, just like in the picture, but he seemed a little older though. The most notable thing we saw though was the crimson Fairy Tail guild mark on his right cheek, a scar running across it.
"My name is Revan Flame, I'm the guild master of Star Legion and an ex-Fairy Tail wizard!"
"So you finally grow up the courage to show your face," the dark mage growled.
Revan nodded and he raised his blade up.
"Then show me your power, lets have one last fight."
"Yes," Revan agreed and punched his fists together, "Energy Make: Armor."
Glowing armor plates of energy appeared around him, forming make-shift armor out of magical energy.
"Energy Make: Blade."
A blade of energy formed on his right arm and he got in a fighting stance.
"Our struggle ends here."
"Agreed," the dark mage stated and charged.
They locked blades as they fought, one trying to get the upper hand over the other. We slowly picked ourselves up, stumbling over to a ruined building for cover. We watched them unlock blades and slash at each other, striking each other's energy blade making sparks of different colors sprout every time they hit each other's energy sword.
"Only one of us is walking away from this," Revan stated as they backed away from each other.
"I couldn't agree more."
They charged at each other again, but this time Revan wasn't locking blades. He struck and struck, bringing his blade down with as much strength as he could, swinging with precise attacks. The Darkseid guild master could hardly keep up, but then Revan sliced his blade in half, the purple energy dissipating into thin air after it was severed.
He kicked him in the stomach and sent the dark mage through a wall. He flew through using his booster magic and grabbed him, flying both of them up until they were hovering in mid-air.
"Energy Magic: Flying Punch!" he shouted and pulled back his fist, magic energy collecting around it as he thrusted his fist forward.
His fist struck the man in the face, small chunks of metal flying off of his breathing mask as Revan's fist made contact. In seconds, he flew down like a comet, a stream of red heat flying behind him as he crashed into a building, making it collapse.
Revan flew down towards him and pulled him from the rubble, gripping his mask with his free hand.
"Now show me who you are."
He ripped off the mask, the sound of metal tearing filling the air. Suddenly, Revan gasped and dropped the mask, stumbling back as he stared at him. We just looked quizzical until we saw what he saw, a man with raven black hair and burning red eyes.
"It can't be," Revan gasped.
"I'm sorry if you're disappointed," the clone said, scowling.
We just stared in shock as the two Revan Flames stared down each other.
