Lucy POV
Several Weeks Later
"Come on!" Lily shouted as we ran through the street.
We were chasing Emalf through the Royal City as he carried some bags of money. After the defeat of both Darkseids, Emalf became a small time criminal, going after bank robberies. Most of the time he had to drop the bags to escape and that wasn't a problem, the problem was that he was attacking banks more frequently every day.
"We got him this time!" Natsu yelled as he ran across the wall so he could jump over Emalf.
The said dark mage simply flew faster and Natsu fell to the ground, hard.
"You idiot Natsu," Gray shouted as he ran past him, fist in his palms, "Ice Make: Floor!"
With that he touched the ground as he ran and coated the stone with ice, letting us slide across it.
"God Dragon-" Lily charged up and I stretched out my hand for her to stop.
"Lily, WAIT!"
"Ro- AH!" she screamed as she slipped on the ice from the recoil of the blast.
"You'll never catch me Fairies!" Emalf laughed and I felt a sense of despair when a voice rang out.
"Stun!"
Suddenly, Emalf screamed as electricity coursed through his body and he fell to the ground, well crashed through the pavement more of. Standing above Emalf was a man dressed in a dark steel vest with golden pads on his shoulders. A padded suit was worn under it and a red helmet with a shaded glass visor covered his face.
"You are under arrest," he said.
"That voice," I murmured as we ran over to the two, "It sounds familiar."
"For what?" Emalf spat and literally spat on the guy's boot.
Instantly, the dark mage's nose was broken by the guy's boot as he kicked him in the face.
"For theft, robbery, murder, and many other infractions of the Edolas laws," he stated, "This sentences you to life imprisonment."
He took out a pair of magic powered hand-cuffs and prepared to put them on Emalf, but he stopped.
"Oh, and if you think about attacking me. Any assault on me will sentence you to death."
With that, he clamped the cuffs on him and pulled him to his feet.
"Um, who are you?" Naomi asked.
"None of your business civilian," he stated.
"Hey, we aren't civilians!?" Natsu shouted and the man stared at us.
"I'm a part of the new law enforcement program King Jellal established, you will know me as Commander."
"Can we get a name?" I asked and he just turned around, and then he left, "HEY!"
"Come on," we heard and saw Erza turn the opposite direction, "Let's get back to the apartment."
"But, he's got our guy!?" Natsu shouted and she punched him on the head.
"If he's a member of Mystogan's royal guard then he'll take Emalf to jail himself."
"Oh well, less work for us," Gray said and followed Erza.
All of the battle eager members of our little group sighed in disappointment and followed us back to the apartment. When we arrived we found the whole place a mess. Dylan was chucking balls of water at Ajax and Throran who threw back stuff at him while Juvia was watching the whole thing with Wendy from a bedroom door. Gajeel and Levy were hiding behind and over turned table and our Exceed friends were flying above watching with little interest, well except for Happy.
"HEY!" Erza shouted and everyone dropped what they were doing, "CLEAN THIS UP BEFORE REVAN GETS BACK!"
Everyone immediately started picking everything up and in minutes the whole place was clean, but a lot of the furniture was missing.
"Now, what happened?"
"Dylan was messing with water and spilled some on me," Ajax explained.
"But Throran interrupted by concentration!" Dylan pleaded.
"It's not my fault me and Ajax were bored," Throran said and Erza was fuming.
Suddenly, the door opened and we watched as Ur and Revan entered the apartment.
"That was an exhausting day," Revan sighed and sat down on the non-existent couch that used to be there, but was not since the three Star Legion mages broke it.
"AH!" he shouted in surprise as he landed on his butt and Ur started snickering, "What gives?"
"Sorry, we kinda... broke it," Throran said and he sighed.
"No matter," he said, "We're leaving in the morning."
"What!?" we all shouted.
"We're going back to Earthland?" Erza asked and he nodded.
"What about Darkseid?"
"We recovered their Anima technology and used it to repair the Anima chamber here in the Royal City."
"Alright!" Natsu shouted in anticipation, "I'm fired up now!"
"Well you're going to have to quell it," Ur stated as she strolled over to help Revan up, "We're leaving tomorrow."
"Oh," he said and bent over in disappointment, "I'm going to bed, come on Happy."
"Aye sir," the flying cat said and left with his partner.
"Come on guys," I said, "Let's get some rest."
We all headed to our rooms, dressing in our sleeping clothes and getting ready for bed.
"She's gotten stronger."
I stopped outside of Team Natsu's room and peered through the crack in the door. Erza, Natsu, Gray, and Happy sat in a circle on the ground, looking at each other.
"Only a little," Natsu scoffed.
"You have to agree Natsu, Lucy's gotten way stronger," Happy said as he tugged Natsu's shirt.
"I agree with Happy, maybe we had the wrong idea about her," Erza stated and I silently gasped as they talked about me.
"Erza, don't be stupid. Remember why we kicked her off the team before," Gray said and I felt my heart break all over again.
"I don't know," Erza said and I felt hope blossom in my cracked heart, "I think we should apologise to her."
"Why? She's weak and we're strong. We don't need to apologise for her being weak," Natsu said and I felt a tear slowly cascade down my cheek.
I left the door and walked into my room, falling onto the bed and crying myself to sleep.
The Next Day
"Awe, welcome," Mystogan greeted as we walked towards him.
"Are you alright Lucy?" Wendy asked as she noticed my bloodshot eyes.
"Yeah, just had a restless night," I answered and rubbed my sore eyes.
"Are you ready?" Mystogan asked and we all nodded.
He led us into the Royal Castle, the Edolas counterparts of ourselves following. We soon made it to the Anima room. It was four statues of Faust holding up a massive orb full of magic.
"Now we shall begin," Mystogan said and held up one of his magic staves.
Magic energy shot out of it into the orb and from that it created a portal above us. We all began to glow gold before we started floating up.
"Bye!" Edo-me shouted and I waved back.
I saw everyone giving their departing words as we left. We were pulled through in a flash and I opened my eyes to find ourselves in the White Forest.
"Whoa," Revan said in awe as he looked around.
"Nova," we heard and turned to see Neptune glaring at his foster child who hid behind me.
"D-D-Dra-Dragon," Revan sputtered and Ur just looked with wide eyes.
"You ran off child," the water dragon stated and circled us, his snake like body encircling us, "Why?"
"Sorry Neptune, I just wanted to have some adventure."
"Um, Neptune? Sir?" I said and he looked at me with his repitlian eyes, sea green orbs with a canyon of a pupil staring at me.
"Yes?"
"She was a real big help," I said, "You know she could learn a lot of things at a guild."
"No, I will not allow it!"
"Why not?" Nova desperately asked and he just scoffed.
"Why would you want to join a magic guild?"
"Because joining a guild means meeting new friends," we heard and Neptune turned to see Makarov standing there with Fairy Tail standing behind him.
"Master Makarov," we all said and Revan cracked a smile.
"Hello Old Man," he greeted and Makarov nodded at him.
"And who are you?"
"I am Master Makarov, the guild master of Fairy Tail."
"Awe, I see," Neptune stated and slithered across the ground, stomping with his large feet and strong legs.
"Why won't you allow your foster daughter to join a magic guild?"
"Because she is not ready for what the world will throw at her."
"Hey, I'm more ready than I'll ever be," Nova shouted and Neptune just shrugged her off.
"I can usure you," Revan said as he stepped up, "She'll be ready if she joins Star Legion."
"I can whole heartidly agree with him," Makarov said and Neptune looked around at all of us before staring at Nova.
"It is your choice child, stay here or find a new place in the world."
Nova looked uncertain, her usually energy filled eyes full of the pain of choosing one over the other.
"I choose... to go, sorry Neptune."
"It is alright darling," he said and nudged her with his snout making her giggle.
"Come on, it's a long journey home," Revan said and we waited for Nova to get her things before leaving, waving bye to the last dragon.
And Then...
Destin, Star Legion Guild Hall
"Hello!" Revan shouted as he kicked open the guild hall's doors and all eyes were on us.
"REVAN!" everyone shouted in joy and rushed us, covering our guild master in a pile of Star Legion mages.
"Can't... breathe," he dramatically wheezed.
"Get up," Ur groaned and he smiled as he used his booster magic to float himself up, pushing everyone off of him.
"You're not wearing your hood," Shiori pointed out and everyone stared at his right cheek where the scar ran over his Fairy Tail guild mark.
"Yes, I need not hide my face any longer," he stated and everyone smiled at him.
"But the matter still remains, what now?" Makarov asked and Revan started walking towards his throne.
"We rebuild," Revan stated as he walked up the stone steps to the second level.
He sat down in his throne and waved his hand. The familiar magic circle appearing on his hand as the stone desk he used appeared from the ground.
"Naomi, lead everyone in rebuilding the town. Lily, your in charge of rubble disposal. Throran and Ajax, you two lead rescue teams to anyone still trapped under rubble. Lucy-" he stopped when he saw us, Team Apex standing there looking at him, "You seven, go with Makarov, we need to get help from the magic council in order to rebuild."
"Okay," I said and he smiled.
"Wait, what're you going to do?" Levy asked and we all stared at him.
"I have a lot of paperwork to file through, especially these new forms of people who want to join Star Legion," he stated as he picked up a piece of paper, "It would seem a lot of people would like to help rebuild Destin."
"Alright," I said and we followed Makarov out of the guild hall.
Several Months Later
"What's going on?" I asked as we watched Revan run around the guild.
"I dunno," Naomi said, "I haven't ever seen him this worked up before."
He ran around, running up the stone steps to his thorne before running back down and slipping, falling on his face, but he got up unscathed and ignored the fall as he ran somewhere else.
"Hey Revan!" Gajeel shouted and he quickly glanced at us before running off.
"Hey!" I shouted and he looked up from a box full of stuff.
"What?" he asked with a quizzical look and we just stared at each other before looking back at him.
"What're you doing?"
"What does it look like?"
"We don't know!" we all shouted and he shrugged us off.
"Hey! Tell us what you're doing!" I demanded and he ran up, grabbing my shoulders.
His luminous blue eyes stared intently into my brown and I looked in fear.
"Do you not know what today is?"
"No..." I said and he let go of me.
"Of course, I haven't explained."
"No, you haven't," Ur said, putting her hands on her hips.
Did I mention she joined Star Legion? Yeah, so after we got back she decided to join Star Legion since she wanted a little more adventure in her life after she died the first time.
"It's Independence Day," he said and we all stared at him with confused faces, "It's the day my father dethroned my grandfather, the tyrant, remember?"
"Oh..." we all said as we got it.
"So what, you're setting up a party?" Orin asked and he nodded as he picked up a crate.
"You gonna help?" he asked and we all shrugged and asked him what to do.
And Then...
"Whoa," Wendy gasped as we stared at Destin from the main street.
The place was lit up with lights and candles. Balloons loomed in the air while banners and flags were hung up. People ran around, kids holding candy or little flags while adults talked and joked while drinking pop. It was just like Fantasia, but there was one difference. We stared at the main canal that held a single float with Lily, Throran, and Revan on it.
They set up the fireworks or "Wiz-poppers" as Revan called them, somekind of magic firework. (Lord of the Rings reference)
"Are you ready!" Revan shouted to the crowd and we responded with a cheer.
He nodded and Lily blew a small burst of fire that lit the fuses on several fireworks. They shot and twirled around each other in a spinning showcase of lights until they split up high in the sky and exploded in red, blue, and yellow lights. We cheered in joy as we watched the display. One wiz-popper shot into the air and exploded in a white light before spreading out like a wave of sparks.
Revan personally lit the last one, a large blue wiz-popper that fired off and exploded. The luminous blue sparks flew around like comets until they took positions in the sky and created the Star Legion guild mark. Everyone cheered in joy and happiness as we watched more fireworks shoot out around the guild mark.
"Alright people, the next firework display is in two hours, we'll be back with more!" Revan shouted and the float sped down the canal.
"Come on Lucy," Wendy said and dragged me along with the rest of our team down to a game stand.
We paid the fee and we all picked up the toy guns. Wendy picked up her a toy gun and shot a little toy dart at some dummies on the other side of the stand. Gajeel shot and missed a bunch of times causing him to get really mad and obliterate a dummy with his Iron Club. He grumbled up some curses as he paid the stand's owner while Levy giggled and shot her dummy.
Receiving a stuffed animal version of Pantherlily whom just stared in amusement at the toy while Gajeel raised an eyebrow. Juvia kept shooting, but kept missing so I teased her about Gray and Dylan making her shoot down three of them, mine included, well mostly mine. She got a toy version of me, I did not approve of this and she broke it with her bare hands.
I nervously laughed as Wendy tried to shoot the dummy, but got so frustrated that she sent a little blow of her dragon roar at it, sending it falling to the ground. The stand owner smiled as he waved his finger at her while she kept bowing and apologizing. I laughed so hard and started stumbling back and completely fell into someone.
We tumbled over and I started apologizing as I got up. I reached out my hand to who ever I fell into and was met with a black thorn as the person, a girl stared in fear at my toy gun. I yelped and fell back into Levy who dropped her stuffed animal to catch me. We all stared in fear at the girl, but Gajeel was glaring at her.
"What's your problem?"
"Stay back," she demanded and pulled out a weapon, somekind of mix between a sword and a chainsaw, the blade being a chainsaw.
"We aren't going to hurt you," I assured her and observed her.
She wore a pitch black tank-top with a V neck that fit her well. She also wore a ruffled red school girl skirt with one black pair of fingerless gloves on her left hand and a red pair of gloves with fingers actually sewn to fit it. She wore tall plain white socks with a black combat boot and a single red rose on it along with a red combat boot with a single black rose on it. She looked pretty, her body was curvy and her hair went down to the small of her back.
A red highlighted bang covered her left eye, but I could still see it a bit. Her eyes were red like Revan's twin, but they were like rose red with a slightly dilated pupil. She stared at us in fear, her right hand gripping her weapon while her left hand had a magic circle that was a mix of rose red and pitch black. She looked around Revan's age, probably 19 years old. (Sorry StichedSanity, had to change her age for reasons I will explain to you if you want to know. PM me)
"Stay back," she said again and we stepped back a bit.
"Come on now kid, we ain't the enemy," Gajeel said and she just ignored him.
Suddenly, a laser shot between us and Revan landed on the ground.
"What's going on here?" he asked and we gestured at the girl, "Who are you?"
"You don't need to know," she threatened and held up her sword in a defensive pose.
"Hey, I won't hurt you," he said and took a step forward.
In an instant she thrusted her left hand forward and shouted a spell.
"Shadow Cage!"
The shadows bent as they surrounded Revan and shot up, creating bars and a roof before enveloping him in a cage made of shadows. He looked around at the shadow bars and tapped them with his knuckle.
"Seriously? Do you know who I am?" he asked and his eyes lit up as he shot a laser, slicing the shadow bars in a split second.
She stared in awe and he reached out a hand to her.
"Come on, I won't hurt you."
Suddenly, her breathing became ragged and her eyes started fluttering as she dropped her chainsaw/sword hybrid weapon. She reached up her hands to her face and started shaking her head as she stumbled back. She stared at her hands and moved them before falling over. Revan rushed forward and caught her while we crowded around them.
"What just happened?" Wendy asked worriedly.
"I don't know, use your magic," he asked and she put her hands over the girl's chest.
Her hands glowed and she gasped.
"What's wrong, poison, disease, what is it?" Levy asked and Wendy shook her head.
"It's not anything, I don't know what's wrong with her," she explained and we stared in worry.
"It's not physical," Revan said as he opened one of her eyes, "She's having an anxiety attack."
"Gwen," he murmured, "GWEN!"
Said mage from before the Darkseid siege appeared from around the corner a minute later, cartwheeling down to us.
"You called sir?"
"Knock her out," he said and Gwen tapped her foot on the ground.
She stared at the girl with her blind eyes before putting her hands on the girl's forehead and neck. She applied pressure and the girl's breathing steady as her head fell backwards.
"She'll be out for a while," Gwen said and he nodded.
"Come on, let's take her somewhere safe," Levy said and we all nodded.
"Wendy and mine's apartment," I said and they nodded.
We ran through Destin before reaching our apartment and setting her down on the couch in the living room.
"Any idea who she is?" Revan asked and we shrugged.
"Festival's over by 12:00 tonight and it's 9:00, I'll stay here and wait, Lucy you take over in my place."
"Whoa, me?" I asked and he nodded, "Why?"
"Come on, you were a Fairy Tail wizard like me and you got the same spirit plus your Celestial Spirits, you'll be fine."
"Okay," I nervously replied and everyone started patting me on the back as we left Revan to tend with the girl.
We walked out to the lake where Lily and Throran were setting up the float with the wiz-poppers. We arrived to find Naomi arguing with Lily about something while Throran was pacing back in forth.
"Something wrong?" I asked as we walked over.
"Lucy, good, you seen Revan?"
"Yeah, he's at my apartment taking care of something," I answered and she sighed.
"We need him here now."
"Why?" Juvia asked and she gestured at the float.
"We don't have enough wiz-poppers for the last show, apparently Shiori did a miscount before."
"Seriously?" Gajeel said, "Now what do we do!"
We all started panicking when the idea sprung up in my head.
"I got one," I said, "How long would it take to set up several floats?"
3rd Person POV
Destin
12:00 A.M.
"Where's the final parade?" a man asked his friend as they stood at the main canal.
"Mommy, what's that?" a young girl asked her mother as they stared down towards the lake.
Coming down were a line of floats, each decorated all over and holding groups of Star Legion wizards. At the lead was a float colored luminous blue with golden lining. Lucy Heartfilia stood at the top of it while Naomi Sharps and Lily Smaug stood on the second level, each of them wearing dresses or costumes. Lucy picked up a magic mic that Naomi had given her and began to speak.
"People of Destin, I apologize for this, but we have run short of wiz-poppers and Revan is busy with personal issues. However, he has left me in charge of the festivities so I have created this parade. I hope you enjoy this, now sit back and enjoy!"

With that she set down the mic and pulled out her Celestial Spirit keys.
"Open, gate of the Lion, Loki!"
"Open, gate of the Water Bearer, Aquarius!"
"Open, gate of the Maiden, Virgo!"
"Open, gate of the Lyre, Lyra!"
Four Celestial Spirit gates opened up, the four spirits she summoned appearing.
"Alright guys, just like we practiced," Lucy shouted and they nodded.
Aquarius created spouts of water that shot up as they passed the crowds while Loki used Lion Brilliance, lighting up and making lights dance off of the water spouts. Virgo danced around, waving her chains and drilling through the float's dirt ground they had put onboard. Lyra began singing a song that pumped up the crowd, energizing them.
Lily and Naomi nodded as they started their preformance. Lily swallowed up fire from two pots that had fire burning inside of them while Naomi began making a ball of energy. She shot it up and Lily blew luminous blue flames shaped as letters around it. The energy orb bgan to spin, making the flaming letters spin with it.
Behind them Gajeel and Levy came out on their own float, an iron gray colored float with books lining the sides. Levy wore her Gale-Force Reading Glasses making the books shoot out lines of text for her to read while Gajeel shot his Iron Dragon Roar into the air, making a shining whirlwind of iron shoot out into the sky.
The next float was Juvia, Dylan, and Pythus who created a tower of ice, Juvia trapped at the top as a fair princess while Pythus and Dylan pretended to fight for her, well Dylan wasn't pretending.
After them was a sky blue float with angel wings on the back. Wendy flew around, Carla on her back making the glowing wings on her back make Wendy look like an angel. She flew around, using her wind magic to make gusts of wind to propel her around and make displays of magic.
Then Throran and Ajax came up on their float, the last of the wiz-poppers set there. On the same float with them was the rest of Star Legion.
Shiori used her requip magic to make two quarterstaffs that she tossed around like twirl batons.
Orin shot his Black Dragon Roar, the bright white light lighting up canal.
Ur created a palace of ice as well as some extra ice clothing to her original clothes making it a dress. (Yeah, pretty much what Elsa did in Frozen. Good movie... Minor Spoilers)
Melody sang a tune that sounded like a hundred person chorus singing. (She's singing a choir version of the Fairy Tail theme)
Gwen danced around, using her acrobatic skills to cartwheel and somersault around the other wizards.
Ajax flew around with wiz-poppers in hand, dropping them so they'd blow above the crowd making multiple colored sparks bloom above their heads.
Throran lit the last of the wiz-poppers, making them fly up and combine into a golden dragon silhouette that gave a roar before flying up, then diving down before pulling up to fly over the canal and blow up over the sea in a massive blast of golden sparks.
People cheered as they passed and from the window of an apartment Revan Flame, guild master of Star Legion nodded in approval as he smiled.
Revan POV
"I knew she'd do it," I murmured as I watched the parade pass by, "They'll make a couple more turns before coming back to the lake."
"Mm," I heard and watched the girl stir.
I turned to her as she awoke, looking around with confused eyes.
"Where, where am I?"
"One of my guild member's apartment," I answered and she stared at me with fear filled eyes.
"Who are you?" she nervously asked as she reached for her weapon, but found it gone.
I held up her sword and she eyed it, then me.
"Looking for this?"
"Give it back," she demanded and I threw it to her, "Wait, what?"
"I told you before I wouldn't hurt you," I said and walked over to her as she lay on the couch, "So what's your name?"
"Why should I tell you?"
"Well I just saved you from an anxiety attack so I think you owe me that much."
She stared at me before looking away and I sighed in disappointment.
"Eden," she said and I looked at her as she turned to face me, "My name is Eden Elis Hunt."
"Well Eden Elis Hunt, the names Revan Flame," I said, "Leader of Star Legion."
"You're the leader of Star Legion?" she asked and I nodded, "You seem a little to young."
"You're one to talk."
"Hey, I'm 19 for your information," she pouted at me while I chuckled.
"So what're you doing all the way out here?"
"I was wandering around, searching for Destin so I could join Star Legion."
"You want to join my guild?" I asked and she nodded.
"Then tell me, why'd you attack my guild members?"
She opened her mouth, but no words came out and she looked away.
"I'm sorry," she said, "I can't, it's personal."
"At least give me a hint," I asked and she looked at me.
"They just did something that reminded me of my past and I had a bad childhood," she said and I mouthed an "o."
Suddenly, there was loud cheering from outside and I walked over to the window to see the parade coming back.
"Hey, wanna come see the Independence Day Parade?" I asked and she cocked her head in confusion, "Want to come see the parade?"
"Okay," she cautiously said and I got up, fixing her ruffled skirt.
We walked out into the street, but she stayed at the door to the apartment.
"You can watch from the door if you want," I said and she nodded before retreating to behind the doorway.
The parade came around and I smiled at Lucy who ordered the parade to stop.
"Hi Revan!" she shouted and I nodded back at her.
"Hello Lucy and everybody, I am so proud today," I said and activated my booster magic to fly up to infront of the parade, "Not only did you improvise and fix the problem, but you've also made the celebration ten times better than it's ever been."
They all cheered and I smiled. I pointed up my head to the sky and said a spell.
"Energy Matter: Omega Effect."
With that said, twin beams shot out of my eyes and zigzagged around before stopping high up and taking a slanted left turn. The twin beams of red magical energy kept going until it reached the other end and completed the guild mark I had made from my spell. It shined a brilliant red glow like a sun shining bright.
People cheered and children shouted in joy while Star Legion roared with joyous applause. I looked down at the doorway and saw Eden standing out of it, smiling at the scene.
"Alright guys," I heard and saw Lucy shouting out, "Who's proud to be a part of Star Legion!"
Everyone cheered, shouted, stomped, clapped, roared, or pumped their arms in agreement, having the time of their life.
"Now this is what I had in mind," I murmured as I lowered myself to the ground next to Eden, "I hope I've done you proud father."
