Let's Start!
Lucy POV
"Come on Lucy!" Wendy shouted as she dragged me through the streets, "Revan's going to announce the Grand Magic Game participants for Star Legion!"
We broke into a run out of Destin and towards the guild hall built into the mountain. Soon we were at the main gates and we opened them up to see everyone inside. Levy was reading a book while Gajeel tried to keep up, Juvia was sitting next to Dylan and they were awkwardly flirting, Lily was laughing with Throran and Ajax, Orin and Naomi were sitting at the bar as Shiori served them some milkshakes, Pythus was observing people, Nova and Melody were playing with their dragon slayer magics, and up on the second level, Revan, Ur, and Eden were talking, Ur making miniature ice sculptures in her hands, Eden fiddling with her chainsaw sword, and Revan trying to make them pay attention.
Revan notice me enter and silenced the other two, then the entire guild.
"Alright people," he shouted and everyone listened in anticipation, "You should all know what I'm about to announce, if you don't well it's the Grand Magic Games!"
Everyone cheered and Revan quieted them down after a while.
"Alright, now, let's get to the teams," he said and pulled out a piece of paper, "Here's the team participating in the GMG!"
"Orin Dragoon!"
Said Black Dragon Slayer smiled and pumped his fist in the air.
"Naomi Sharps!"
His Energy Mage protege smiled as well as everyone cheered.
"Gajeel RedFox!"
He shouted in pride while Levy laughed.
"Levy McGarden!"
Now that shocked my friend as her eyes turned into giant circles.
"Lucy Heartfilia!"
It was my turn to looked shocked as I stared at the ex-Fairy Tail mage who smiled at me before continuing.
"Lily Smaug!"
The God Dragon Slayer started jumping up and down in excitement as she beamed in joy.
"Finally," he said and everyone waited in excitement, "Eden Hunt!"
We all smiled at the shy newcomer to Star Legion who sheepishly smiled as she waved at us.
"Alright then," Revan said, "Everyone retire to what ever you were doing prior to this and remember, we have three months to train for the Grand Magic Games!"
Everyone cheered as he, Ur, and Eden left to talk some more at this throne.
"Hey Lucy," Wendy chirped as we sat down at our table, the Team Apex table.
"Yeah?"
"You want to train?"
"How?" I asked, "The last time we tried we wasted three months in the Celestial Spirit World."
"Oh, right," she said and we started thinking up a plan.
"Hey guys," Orin said as he walked over with Naomi.
"Hi," I greeted and Gajeel and Levy sat down too.
"So, how're we going to train?" Naomi asked and we shrugged.
"Does Revan know any places?" Levy asked, "He usually knows where to go."
"She's right," Gajeel said as he munched on a screw, "The guy usually has the best choices."
"Then let's go ask," we heard and turned around to see Lily standing behind us.
We made our way up the steps to the second floor towards Revan and found him arguing with Ur.
"You are so stubborn some times!" he shouted and the Ice mage scoffed at him.
"I'm stubborn," she snapped, "Remember who underestimated Darkseid."
They glared at each other until Eden coughed and nudged Revan making him notice us.
"Oh, hello," he said with a forced smile.
Ur huffed in anger before turning around with a plain looking face, obviously to mad to make a smile.
"Um Revan?" I asked, "You know anywhere good to train?"
"Well..." he trailed off as he rubbed his chin with his fingers, thinking.
"I think I might know," Ur said.
"Where?" Eden asked.
"My old place."
"You mean your cabin in the middle of frozen no where?" Revan asked and she punched him with an ice encased fist, "Ow."
He rubbed the freezing bruise as Ur laughed while we sat there and watched with raised eyebrows.
"So, how do we get there?" Gajeel asked and Ur walked over to us.
"I'll take you there," she said, "Take a couple days, but we'll get there. Revan I'm taking your wagon."
"HEY!" he shouted and chased after her while we laughed.
Several Days Later
"Ice Witch... making me come out here... stupid purple haire-"
Revan was cut off from his shivering and grumbling by Ur's fist on his head. We laughed for about the twelfth time today as we rode in the back of Revan's wagon which had been redone a bit. Revan held the reins to the horses in his hands that were underneath his crossed arms as he tried to keep himself warm. We all had blankets on, but Ur had bet him he wouldn't last an hour without his precious trench coat and jacket.
He stubbornly tried to prove her wrong which led to what was going on right now.
"Are we there yet?" Eden asked and Revan gritted his teeth even more as they clattered slightly.
3rd Person POV
Magnolia
"Come here Flame Brain!"
Gray tackled Natsu into a wooden pillar making it crack.
"Watch it you two!" Erza shouted as she sliced her strawberry cake with a fork, "If you break that beam I'll break you."
They turned white in fear and walked off with arms around each other's necks. The moment they were gone they started trying to strangle each other only succeeding in falling over unconscious from lack of air.
"They're still as hot headed as when they first met," Mirajane laughed with Lisanna.
"BRATS!"
Everyone stopped talking, drinking, and fighting to look up at their guild master, Makarov who stood on stage.
"It's time to announce the Grand Magic Game team for Fairy Tail!"
Everyone burst into cheers and quieted down a little while later. Murmurs rose up every now and then in the crowd as Makarov took out a paper with a list of names on it.
"Erza Scarlet."
Said scarlet haired wizard nodded with a smile while everyone cheered and patted her on the back.
"Gray Fullbuster."
People cheered as the ice mage grinned.
"Natsu Dragneel."
The Fire Dragon Slayer roared a burst of fire into the air as he shouted in joy.
"Cana Alberona."
The Fairy Tail mage waved a mug full of beer in the air, cheering.
"And finally, Lisanna Strauss."
Mirajane beamed at her younger sister while Elfman cried tears of joy, calling his sister a real man through the joyful sobs.
"That is all, now you should begin training, the games are in three months."
"Yes Master," they all said and started planning.
Lucy POV
3 Months Later
"Come on then!" Revan shouted as he twirled around, jumping up and down, and running like a four-year-old to the carnival as we approached the stadium in Crocus.
It had been three months, three longs months. We've improved in our magic and also in relationships. Turns out we found Levy cuddling with Gajeel at the fireplace after training one time, we were still holding that on them. Another thing that happened was Ur's return to the town.
***Flashback***
"Ur?"
Said violet haired ice mage turned around to see a woman at least twenty years older than her. She wore shopkeeper's clothes, an apron over some regular clothes. Her blonde hair had streaks of white in it and her brown eyes were full of joy.
"Uh, hello?"
"You haven't aged a bit."
"Do I know you?"
"Do you?" Revan asked, holding her shoulders and peeking out from behind her.
She slapped him and he backed off, an expression of pain, shock, and curiosity scrawled on his face as he held his red cheek.
"Ur, it's me, Sharon."
"Sharon?" she gasped, eyes watering.
"Where have you been? They said you died."
"I did," Ur replied and Sharon gave her a quizzical look.
"What do you mean? You're standing right here."
"Yes," Revan stated as he got back onto her shoulders making Ur turn red and stiffen at the sudden contact, "It's a long story we'd love to explain inside somewhere with a fireplace."
Ur jabbed her elbow into his abdomen making him keel over in pain while we covered our mouths to muffle our laughter.
"Is that your boyfriend?"
Ur turned even more red while Revan gave small laughs between gasps and wheezes.
"No, he is not my boyfriend," Ur stated, slowly as her rosy red face returned to its pale complexion.
"Well then," Sharon said, "Let's go to my house."
Soon we were inside a comfy home, sitting around a fireplace as the two friends caught up.'
"So you died, came back to life, almost died again, but that man save you and now you're a part of a magic guild?" Sharon asked with a raised eyebrow and Ur smiled before nodding, "Oh that's wonderful!"
She grabbed her violet haired friend in a hug and she hugged back.
"Yes well," Revan said as he sipped his tea, "Don't forget why we came here."
"Oh right," Ur said, "How's my house doing Sharon?"
"Your cabin?" she asked, "I don't know. Last thing I heard about it was that a group of bandits took it over."
Ur froze, her face turning red in anger as her eye twitched.
"They what?" she asked again, her voice full of pent up agression.
"They took your cabin, no one's dared to go up there ever since."
"Don't worry," Ur said as she hastily got up, "Revan will help me take care of them."
She grabbed the energy mage by his elbow and dragged him up.
"I'll what?" he asked and she gave him a glare.
He gulped and nodded quickly.
"Yeah, I will."
***Flashback End***
Couple hours later they came back and said the bandits were gone. Turns out Ur froze em and we took them to the local guard station. We started training there ever since. The first day of training was pretty hard, and embarrassing. Having Ur make us strip in the snow was not fun, especially for Revan who refused to, that was until Ur tackled him and stripped him into his boxers.
Ever since that Naomi always teased him about those two becoming a couple which Revan always shivered too. Of course we also found him cuddling with Eden which they both denied to. Star Legion was a pretty messed up place, just like Fairy Tail, and I love it.
"Hey, Lucy!"
I snapped back into reality and looked down at Wendy who had a pout on her face.
"Oh sorry Wendy," I apologized and she smiled again, "So what'd you need."
"Revan's already inside the stadium."
"What?" I asked as I looked up to see a couple minute's walk in front of us to the stadium entrance, "How can he already be inside?"
"Ur started yelling at him to stop being a kid," Gajeel said.
"She chased him in didn't she?" I asked and Levy nodded.
"Come on," Naomi said and we started running after them.
After a while of searching we found Ur throttling Revan's neck in the Star Legion guild's personal stands. We managed to separate them and Revan spent the next couple of minutes unfreezing his neck with his energy magic. Soon the games started as the announcer began his rant. (I haven't seen the Grand Magic Game episodes so I don't know how it goes so I'll just skip to the announcing of the first competition)
"Alright ladies and gents!" the announcer shouted.
"Is he a new announcer?" I asked Revan and he nodded.
"Let's begin the first competition is the Magic Races!" he shouted in joy and the audience cheered in anticipation.
"Alright," Revan said, rubbing his hands together, "Who wants to go first?"
"Uh..." Eden said as she raised her hand, "What's the Magic Races?"
"It's as the name implies," he said, "You use what ever your magic is to race."
"Oh," she said in understanding and he started looked around at us.
"Alright, who wants to go?"
We all looked at each other and Lily raised her hand.
"Me!"
"Alright then!" he shouted, "Get out there and win."
"Yeah!" she shouted back while we all watched with smiles and in Ur's case a frown of annoyance.
After she left we all went to the edge of the stands to watch as the competitors enter.
