So, let's begin

Makarov POV

I stared across the arena, looking at Star Legion's stands where the guild master, one of my children was cheering, arm wrapped around a young girl with black hair who was blushing furiously. He realized what he was doing and dropped her, making her fall on her face. A black thorn shot up with a blunt tip, smashing him in the face.

After a moment he got back up, a smile on his face and blood streaming down from a broken nose. Wendy walked over and healed his nose and he rubbed it a couple times. Several minutes later, the games began.

"Hello ladies and gentlemen!"

People cheered including us as we watched.

"Today marks the beginning of the X792 Grand Magic Games!"

People cheered louder as he began announcing the guild teams.

"The team for our winners from last year's game, Fairy Tail's team! Team Fairy Tail!"

Natsu, Gray, Erza, Lisanna, and Jet walked out onto the field, waving their arms and smiling.

Several more guilds approached, Blue Pegasus, Lamia Scales, Mermaid Heel, Sabertooth, etc. Then came the guild we had been waiting for.

"Now from the rising guild, Star Legion's team! Team Star Legion!"

Orin Dragoon, Naomi Sharps, Gajeel, Levy, Lucy, Lily, and Eden Hunt, all of them Star Legion wizards, a few of them once my children.

"Oh they've grown."

My eyes widened as I remembered that voice. I turned my hed and looked at my guild's shock expressions. I turned my head the other way and watched as the First Master laughed cheerfully as her legs swung back and forth while she sat on the stone railing.

"First Master?" I asked and she smiled.

"Hello Makarov."

I gave a weak smile and she smiled wider before looking back at the teams.

"What are you doing here First Master?"

"I decided to come to the Grand Magic Games again, this time to watch the new guild and its leader, one of our most loyal wizards."

"I'd forgotten," I said as I looked at Revan from across the arena, "He was the first to find your grave and the only one to ask you for the strength to fight the darkness in himself."

"Yes, that's why I like him," she stated, "A strong and humble man, a bit insane, but always the courageous hero."

"Excuse me," Laxus said as he walked over to us, "They're announcing the first competition."

"Alright ladies and gents! Let's begin the first competition which is the Magic Races!"

We cheered and at the same time our guild's team returned to the stands.

"Magic Races, this time we'll beat Lamia Scale," Gray cheered and everyone agreed with their own shouts of excitement.

"I'm going," Jet stated.

"Then get down there," Erza ordered and he grinned as he ran down.

Lucy POV

We watched as the competitors assembled. Jet grinned as he kneeled down, but glared at Lily when she kneeled too. She sent back a glare and he tried to ignore her. Rogue walked out onto the field with several more mages following.

"Alright folks, we got our competitors!"

Everyone cheered as he started calling their names.

"Jet from Fairy Tail, rumored to be the fastest man in Fiore!"

Fairy Tail cheered along with the arena.

"From Sabertooth, Rogue Cheney!"

Sabertooth roared with applause and the arena did the same.

"Next is the rainbow star, Lily Smaug straight from the rising guild, Star Legion!"

The rest of the mages were called out, but I payed no attention as I watcehd the three mages below staring at each other with squinted eyes. They set up and soon the whistle blew. In an instant they shot forward, like bullets.

Jet was a train with the speed of a bullet. Suddenly, a blue light caught up to him and I realized it was Lily, using her God Dragon Slayer magic to fly forward while using her fire ability to boost like a rocket. Rogue was right behind them, but the the Fairy and the Star's combined magic powers kept him back as they shot forward.

Suddenly, Jet got ahead of Lily and ran in front of her, kicking up a cloud of dust and dirt in her face. Lily started slowing down, but she shot a dragon roar in anger. The dust and dirt turned into smoldering ashes that clung to Jet's back making him try and get them off. She smirked as she got ahead of the burning Fairy Tail wizard who managed to wipe off the burning residue on his shirt.

Then, Rogue caught up with them. He glared at the both of them who glared back. Lily flew next to Jet and they seemed to start talking.

"Are they speaking?" Naomi asked.

"Here," Melody said as she walked up to us, "Music Dragon Slayer magic."

"Dragon's Hear," she recited from her memory.

Suddenly, we could here the two mages down there.

"He's a dragon slayer," Lily said to Jet.

"Yeah, so?"

"Then he's probably got motion sickness like me."

They both seemed to smirk as they slowed down a bit to let Rogue catch up, but right when he did they grabbed his arms.

"What're you doin- ACK"

He gagged and turned green as they gave him a ride at the speed of a bullet. They dropped him after a while and he was left sprawled on the floor, queasy and green.

"So, got rid of him," Jet said, "Now your turn."

He tried to grab Lily, but she flew up and over him before grabbing his shoulders.

"To slow," she giggled and her hands caught fire.

He screamed like a little girl and started trying to put out his flaming shoulders. Lily laughed out loud as she flew over the finish line, winning the competition for us. We all cheered in joy and the rest of the stadium followed. Jet managed to finish second and Rogue followed third.

"That was awesome!" Throran shouted in joy as we watched Lily walk back to us.

Soon she was in the stands and she ran over to us, and then she hugged Naomi.

"I won!" she squealed in joy and Naomi smiled as we all cheered again, "Revan you saw that righ-"

She stopped and looked around. We followed suit, searching for our guild master.

Makarov POV

"What're they doing?" Gray asked as he spotted Star Legion looking around their section of the stands.

"I honestly don't know," I said, "It seems Revan's missing."

"That's not true."

We turned around to see the Star Legion guild master standing there, hands in his pant pockets as he watched his team from afar.

"What're you doing here?" Natsu growled, his fists lighting on fire.

"Just looking around," he answered as he strolled into our stands, his lips pressed together in a line with small downwards curves making it look like a tiny frown.

"Get out of here!" Gray snarled.

"I agree," Erza stated.

"Guys," Lisanna pleaded as most of the guild jeered at him.

"Now now," I said, "He was one of us, he has the right to return to our stands."

"Thank you old man," he thanked and smirked as he walked over to me.

"It has been long Revan," I said and he nodded, "Why did you leave?"

"Well my girlfriend died, I was overly depressed, won't lie here I thought about suicide," he stated and half the guild gasped, not including me, I had known that fact, "but then I thought, suicide's cowardly, Jane'll slap me when I get to the afterlife. So, I left, packed my things and went to find a blonde kid I met on a job."

He pointed his finger to his apprentice across the arena, Naomi Sharps who was looking around with the rest of Revan's guild.

"That's her right there," he said and put his hand down, "I picked her up and we traveled before we met a girl with rainbow hair."

He pointed again at Lily Smaug who had crossed arms as searched around, frustrated.

"We got her in our group and later we came across a man who could fly, a vigilante helping out where ever he could."

He didn't have to point this time as we watched Ajax Elent float above the ground a bit, searching for his guild master.

"Then we met a man with a metal pole, a mercenary for hire."

We watched Throran Kruxus give up and sit in his seat with the other guild members.

"After that we met a lot of people on the road before settling on making a guild and finally I had decided to input our request. Later that day I was on my way back to my friends when I spotted a girl with blonde hair on the side of the road."

He raised his finger one last time to point at Lucy Heartfilia. By now we were tearing up from his story, but not from sadness, but out of joy. He had met each and everyone of the members as he traveled from place to place, a wanderer, a traveler, a lone wizard who overthrew a dark guild he once was a part of.

"And that's how Star Legion began, a wanderer, an orphan, a lost girl, a vigilante, a mercenary, and an abandoned girl searching for the strength of hope."

We stared at awe at him, but we started stifling laughter as two pale fingers rose up from behind his head.

"What?" he asked and turned around to find no one there.

He turned back to us and the First Master's fingers reappeared. He turned around again, but had the same result, nothing.

"What is it?" he asked as Master Mavis's fingers reappeared behind his head, but this time his arm went back and grabbed her wrist, "Now First Master, that's not nice."

The blonde haired founder of Fairy Tail giggled as Revan turned around with a smile.

"Hello Revan," she giggled and hugged him.

"Hello First Master," he greeted and bowed his head in honor to her.

"Rise," she ordered and he did as instructed, a smile still planted on his face, "Now why'd you come here?"

"Can't an ex-Fairy Tail wizard visit his old guild?" he asked as he walked around the stands, "I remember standing here for the first time, arm drapped over Jane's shoulders, her lips on my cheek as we stared over the arena."

"Yes," Mavis stated, "I remember that, I see everything Fairy Tail does. Each town ruined because of our reckless heroism, every life saved from our courage, and every time the world is saved by Fairy Tail's best and brightest."

We smiled and she raised up her hand, pointer finger in the air and thumb outstretched. We smiled wider and raised our fingers as well, even Revan did so.

"All of those deeds done because we're number 1!" she shouted and we cheered, "Now Revan, about your guild."

"Yes?" he asked.

"You're probably the first wizard to ever still be part of a guild and make your own guild."

Her hand came up and stroked his cheek, brushing the scar across his Fairy Tail guild mark.

"Yes," he said, this time not asking, "I suppose and I suppose I must rid myself of it?"

We stood there, waiting for the First Master's order, but she just smiled, not a smile full of pain, but a smile full of joy and amusement.

"No, I allow you to keep it, a reminder that you are a part of something great," she stated, "Just like this."

Her hand pulled up his right arm and she pushed back the leather sleeve to show a crimson Star Legion mark on his fore arm.

"You are still a Fairy and now you're a Star too, never forget," she stated, "Now I believe your gulid needs you, I'm sure Ms. Ur will kill you when you return."

"Yes probably will," he replied, "Goodbye and good luck. I mean it!"

He pointed at us as he left before disappearing around a corner into the inside of the arena.

Lucy POV

"There you are," Eden said as Revan walked over to us, "Where have you been?"

"Just visited some old friends," he answered with a smile and we raised our eyebrows as he sat down next to me, "Now, what's the next event?"

"They're announcing it soon," I answered and he smiled before leaning back in his seat, but as he did Ur's hand grabbed his hair.

"That was half an hour we searched," she growled and he gulped as her hand turned an icy white color.

He fell backwards and landed on his back, all the air in his lungs coming out in a single wheeze. She laughed and we followed as he got up, rubbing his back.

"Alright folks."

He jumped to his feet and rushed to the railing, the rest of us quickly following.

"The next competition is..."

We waited for the announcement, the whole arena did. Everyone was on the edge of their seats or ready to fall over the railing if they were standing.

"Fashion Contest!"

"What?" we gasped and Revan looked over at me.

"What?" I asked again.

"You used to be rich, you pose nicely in dresses right?" he asked and I nodded slowly making him grin, "Then get up there Lucy, you got a contest to win!"

"Alright," I sheepishly answered and the whole way everyone was bombarding me with questions on what I would wear.

Wendy POV

Several Hours Later

I was peering over the railing along with Carla and Pantherlily as we watched the competition begin

"Alright everyone!" the announcer shouted, "Time to begin!"

Out of the corner of my eye I saw white and looked over to see a girl with short, light blue hair walk out in a dress that had white feathers on it in a lot of places. She was beautiful as she walked forward towards a wooden stage in the center of the arena. She stood in the center and waved at everyone, smiling at the whole arena.

"Here we have Yukino Aguria from Sabertooth."

She flashed a smile to each guild, a lot at Fairy Tail and the same at us.

"Next comes last year's winners, Fairy Tail's very own Lisanna Strauss."

She wore a beautiful white dress with gold designs on it, running like small rivers along the dress, going up and down, left and right. She smiled to everyone in the arena before stepping next to Yukino.

Several more contestants went up before Lucy walked out.

"Here is last year's competitor for Fairy Tail, now a Star Legion wizard, Lucy Heartfilia!"

Everyone and this time I meant everyone in the arena cheered loudly, almost surpassing the noise Melody's dragon roar made.

Lucy smiled as she shyly walked out, wearing a stunning blue and gold dress Virgo had gotten her from the Celestial Spirit World. She strolled over to the center stage, waving her hands and sheepishly smiling at everyone. She stood in the center of the entire arena, waving hands covered in gloves as white as snow, her dress as blue as the sky and as gold as Celestial magic.

There was a loud applause as the rest of the contestants walked up to the stage before the voting began. Soon the votes were in, people handed in their own votes on slips of paper and the announcer shouted the winner.

"The winner for Fashion is... Fairy Tail!"

Lisanna smiled wide and we did too, knowing our friend had won.

"In second we have Star Legion!"

The white haired wizard rushed over and hugged Lucy who smiled and hugged back before they all left the stage. Lucy came back and we embraced her in a hug.

"Lucy, you were fantastic," Revan said, "but Lisanna more so."

"Yeah," she said as she hugged me, "but at least we got second."

"Yep," Ur replied, "At least we got second, now what's the next competition?"

"They're still deciding," Revan answered as he leaned on the railing, staring out over the field.

Lucy POV

"And the next competition is..."

We waited in anticipation for the competition, but we got what we didn't expect to ever happen.

"Wait for this ladies and gents cause we've decided on a new competition to decide magic guild strengths," the announcer shouted and the crowd were murmuring and gossiping, "The next competition is... Guild Master Gladiator!"

Revan did a spit take with the cup of soda he had in hand. Across the arena I spotted Master Makarov fall off the railing he was standing on and Sabertooth's guild master, Sting was gaping.

"Oh yes yes yes," Revan said with glee as his mouth turned into a giant smile, "This is going to be fun."
