Welcome viewers
Hello, hello
It's been so long hasn't it
Just wanted to say hello
And...
To show you all this magnificent new chapter
So, let's not wait
Let's go!
Lucy POV
"GO NAOMI!" we cheered as the competitors stepped up for the second day of the Grand Magic Games' first competition.
She, Minerva from Sabertooth, Erza from Fairy Tail, and all other guild members were competing in the competition, a demonstration of power, so basically a Magic Power Show.
Minerva went first and made the area around her change and morph. People cheered, but I just glared at her. I still remembered last year's Grand Magic Games. Apparently, she left the guild after the first GMG, but Sting convinced her to come back. Erza went next and in seconds half of the field was covered in swords while a dozen more moved around her in circles as she wore her Heaven's Wheel armor. Then, there was Naomi who used her magic to put on a literal laser light show.
We waited at the end and cheered when Naomi got first. Sabertooth got second and Fairy Tail third, which I was seriously surprised about. Naomi came back to a cheering stand full of fellow guild mates.
"Nice job Naomi," Revan said and she bowed in amusement.
She got a hug from everybody and a kiss from Orin afterwards. We watched and waited for the next announcement to come out on the second competition for the second day of the GMG.
"So Revan," Eden said as she leaned on the railing next to him, "Did they find that guy yet?"
"Nope, still haven't," he answered.
I instantly knew what they were talking about. After that incident last night with the poisoning we reported it to the guards and they started questioning everyone in the hotel at the time. After that, they figured out everyone in the kitchen saw a guy in a black cloak walk in at some point before the staff ushered him out. They also found out that Shiori had passed him through the hall and he had cast a compelling spell on her so she'd be compelled on giving Revan the drink with the lacrimas in it.
Ever since then we've searched everywhere, but we couldn't find him.
"Lucy," Wendy said and I snapped out of my thoughts. "They're announcing the next competition."
"What is it?" I asked.
"We don't know, they're announcing it now," Throran said and I blushed in embarrassment.
"Alright ladies and gentlemen!" the announcer shouted. "For the next competition, it is..."
We waited as he read off his notes. The entire arena was waiting in anticipation and when he announced it, we just raised eyebrows.
"The Grand Magic War!"
We raised our eyebrows and stared in confusion at the announcer's box.
"Alright, here are the rules! All magic guilds will have one of their two teams participate in a multi-way war in the arena."
People started getting excited as they began taling and murmuring, soon it grew to cheers of excitement. I looked at Revan who was jumping in joy as Ur seemed impressed by the competition.
"Alright team!" he shouted. "Star Legion Team A, also known as Team Apex shall go out there and win this!"
"Yes sir," we all said and saluted to him.
He crossed his arms and put on a smug smile, making him look like some kind of five star general. That image quickly disappeared as Ur punched him in the arm and he rubbed the bruising spot in pain. We laughed and went down to join the rest of the teams on the field.
"Alright folks, now for the rest of the rules," the announcer shouted as the ground shook.
Suddenly, miniature castles of marble rose out of the ground and sat at each guild's separate entrance.
"In order to win the competition you must gather the other guilds' flags."
"So capture the flag?" Levy asked.
"Nope, capture the flag all out war," Lily said with a smile as she stood on the balls of her feet.
"Get ready!" the announcer shouted and we rushed to take places.
"Orin, Eden, and Gajeel!" Naomi shouted. "You two protect the castle. Lily, Lucy, Levy, and I will go take the other flags."
"Got it boss," they said in unison, well Orin and Eden did, Gajeel just huffed in anger.
"Set!"
We stood in front of the castle's entrance and waited for the signal.
"GO!"
And we were off, a blur of speed as we ran towards the closest castle near us, Fairy Tail.
Eden POV
"Get ready," Orin said as we watched Sabertooth's team approach.
"Alright, some action," Gajeel cheered while I narrowed my eyes.
"Black Rose Magic: Shadow Thorn!"
Thorns made of magic energy colored a dark shadow grey shot from my hands and caught the dragon slayer, Rogue in the shoulder. Yukino, the light blue haired girl stopped to help him before summoning a large metallic snake from a celestial spirit gate.
"You got your action," I said to Gajeel and he smirked as he jumped down to fight Minerva with Orin.
Revan POV
"Now this is interesting," I said as I watched my guild's team fight the other guilds.
My I kept switching from Lucy kicking Natsu with her incredibly powerful 'Lucy Kick' as everyone calls it to Eden fighting the Sabertooth wizard, Yukino, giant thorned vines from the ground with razor sharp points shot at a mechanical looking snake that hissed and charged at the petite girl.
"They're definitely fighting the fight," Throran said as he watched.
"That's ex-Fairy Tail for you," I replied. "We always cause the most destruction."
"And now so does Star Legion," Ur added as I we watched Gajeel pretty much obliterate the front wall of Sabertooth's castle after chasing them there with Orin.
Eden was face-palming as she watched the two boys fight Sabertooth, two to five. Funny thing though, they were winning. Minerva was in a crater in the wall, Rogue was fighting Gajeel, Yukino was unconscious, and the rest of the Sabertooth team was being beaten by Orin.
Back over at Eden, she was a one girl defense againt Blue Pegasus. That one fat guy, Ichiya was unconscious while the other three, I think their names were, HIbiki, Ren, and Eve were being puppets because of Eden's Love Ensnare magic, that rose painlessly shot through their hearts making them infatuated with her. Since they were in love with her they were fighting team member number five, Nichiya.
Glancing over at Fairy Tail's castle I saw it was in ruins as Lucy triumphantly held Fairy Tail's flag above her head while standing on top of Gray and Natsu. Erza, Jet, and Laxus was fighting Lamia Scales, well were fighting since it was a pile of rubble and the entire team was unconsicous before Erza.
The whole match was a blur to me, having seen a war already.
"Hey, you okay?" Ur asked. "You seem out of it."
"Oh it's nothing," I answered and smiled. "So, who do you think's going to win."
"I dunno, Erza's fighting Lucy now."
"Is she?" I asked and looked over to see the blonde Celestial mage trying to run from Erza as she flew after her in her Heaven's Wheel armor.
Lucy POV
"WHY ME!" I screamed as Erza chased after me.
She was gritting her teeth, eyes narrowed, and growling as she flew after me.
"I'm sorry Lucy, but I want to test your skill!" she shouted and shot a dozen swords at me.
I screamed and fell on the ground, the swords barely flying over me, just cutting a small cut on the back of my shirt and some hair on the top of my head.
"Open, gate of the Golden Bull, Taurus!"
"MOO!" he roared and I sighed. "Good to see your body Lucy!"
"Shut up and fight her," I ordered and he grinned before swinging his massive axe.
It was a blur of silver, but it stopped as it connected with Erza's sword.
"I don't think so!" she screeched and pushed the axe back before stabbing the swords into Taurus.
"I'm sorry Ms. Lucy!" he said as he disintegrated into golden dust.
"Great," I said. "Sorry Taurus!"
I started to run again, but a sword pinned me to the ground, impaling my shirt to the arena ground.
"Open, Gate of the Maiden, Virgo!" I shouted and the pink haired celestial spirit drilled herself out of the ground, freeing me from the sword in my shirt sleeve.
"Virgo, take her down!" I shouted again and she nodded.
She floated above the ground, flying fast and she twirled. The chains locked on her wrists swung and extended before wrapping around Erza and pulling her to the ground. She crashed and yelled in pain and surprise. I smiled and Virgo twirled again, sending Erza flying into Jet.
With his speed he couldn't stop and slammed into Titania. They hit the ground and I peered behind them to see Laxus being subdued by Lily and Levy. Solid Script: Flame cancelled out his Lightning Dragon Roar and God Dragon Roar sent him into the arena wall.
"STOP!"
We all turned our heads, every single wizard looked straight at the announcer's box where the judges stood up.
"The winners have gained the flags, Star Legion stands victorious!" a judge stated and we cheered.
Several Hours Later
"Now that was fun," Lily said, all jittery still. "Let's blow more stuff up!"
"No," Revan said, "you can wait till tomorrow."
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Only two competitions today," he said. "Judges sent the message to the guild masters."
He held up a letter and stuffed it in his pocket as we started leaving.
"Alright folks, that's it for today, I hope you have a wonderful evening and a morning because tomorrow's going to be one hectic day!"
People cheered and just like yesterday, the loud roar slowly dimmed to a silent clammer of feet on stone as people left the arena.
"So where too now?" I asked as we walked. "It's to early to go back to the hotel."
"I whole heartidly agree," Eclair said as she walked next to me.
Suddenly, there was a sharp gasp and we looked at Juvia.
"Something wrong?" I asked as she stared at no one in particular.
"Juvia feels strange," she said, in her third person point of view.
"What does Juvia feel?" Wendy asked, being the sweet person we knew.
"Juvia feels something I haven't felt in years."
We gasped, she was talking in first person now, that is most definitely not normal.
"Hello."
We turned and saw a man in a black cloak.
"Revan," Shiori murmured, "that's him. The guy who poisoned you."
"Indeed," the man said and Revan smiled.
"Oh, so you tried to kill me? Have we met before?"
"No, it was nothing personal either, I just wanted my love."
Revan looked at us and raised an eyebrow when he looked back.
"What?"
"I want my woman," he stated and all of us girls raised our eyebrows.
"Which woman, we got a lot," Revan said. "Not that I'm counting."
The man seemed to growl and Revan looked back at us.
"So which one's your woman?" he asked, putting emphasis on the 'your'. "Is it Lucy? She's pretty."
I blushed and frowned at the same time.
"Or is it Ur, she's hot."
Ur turned red and pulled back her fist, but Shiori and Naomi quickly stopped her.
"How 'bout Eden? She's a cute one."
Eden turned as red as her roses.
"You think we're pretty?" we asked and he turned red as well.
"Well you're all girls," he said and turned around.
"You think I'm hot?" Ur asked and he growled as he glared at her.
"I was making a point!" he stated and turned back around.
"I'm cute?" Eden asked and Revan turned around, blushing furiously.
"I was just, I'm... OH SHUT UP!" he shouted and turned back around at the man. "Now, which one's your girl. And don't make me call them hot again."
"We're hot?" I asked, joking around and he glared at me, seething in rage.
"My lovely Juvia."
We stopped, all of us as Juvia backed up in fear. The man took off the hood to reveal storm cloud black hair and electric blue eyes.
"Hello my lovely Juvia."
"I am not your lovely Juvia," she practically screamed as she kept moving backwards, her face red as she screamed at him.
"Juvia who is he?" Dylan asked as he got in front of her.
"My name is Juffel Rodricordik," he stated proudly, "I am a storm wizard."
"They and Juvia knew him as Son of the Storm," Juvia stated, back to her third person talking.
"Who is they?" I asked.
"Phantom Lord," she stated and all of us Fairy Tail looked at her.
Gajeel was gritting his teeth and growling as he looked back at the storm wizard.
"You! I remember you!" he shouted. "You abandoned the guild during the Guild War!"
"Having rethoughts about that? I thought you were Fairy Tail? Oh, wait now you're Star Legion. Just another weakling."
Gajeel roared and punched Juffel in the chest, sending him stumbling back, but Gajeel roared in pain as lightning jumped across his Iron Log.
"Did you forget Iron Dragon Slayer?" he mocked, "I am a Storm wizard."
"Storm Magic: Lightning Bolt!"
He raised his arms and shot two lightning bolts into Gajeel who yelled in pain as he was sent flying back. Ajax flew up and caught him before he fell onto the ground.
"I got a plan," Revan said and we looked at him, "Run!"
He bolted down the street we had come from and we looked at Juffel before running after our guild master.
"This is your brilliant plan!" Eden asked as we ran.
"Yep!" he shouted back as a reply.
"You think I'm cute?"
"Shut up," he groaned as we kept running down the street.
Suddenly, a lightning bolt struck in front of Revan and he flew into a building, smoking.
"REVAN!" Eden cried out and we turned to face Juffel.
"Ow," the energy mage groaned in pain as he slowly got up, "now that wasn't very nice."
"Neither is this!" Juffel roared and fired another lightning bolt, but Revan pulled up his energy shield.
"Hey!" Ur shouted and made a flurry of Ice Make: Lances at him.
He dodged and raised his arm.
"Storm Magic: Rain Shot!"
Suddenly, bolts of light blue light surrounded his arm and shot like a machine gun, just like Evergreen's Fairy Machine Gun. Ur barely had time to pull up her ice shield to block the attack. It pounded against the hard ice, but slowly the shield cracked.
"Open, Gate of the Lion, Loke!" I shouted and held up his key.
The familiar magic circle appeared and Loke jumped out.
"Hey Lucy," he greeted and faced Juffel. "This guy giving you trouble?"
"A lot," I answered and he grinned.
"Alright, Regulus Impact!" he shouted and swung his fist.
"Storm Magic: Cloud Cover!"
A shield made completely of storm clouds formed in front of Juffel as Loke swung. Regulus Impact struck it head on, but it did little than make small clouds puff off of the shield.
"Rain Shot!"
A dozen of those light blue bolts shot into Loke and he gasped in pain as he began to return to the Celestial Spirit World.
"LOKE!" I shouted and he gave a sad smile before he disappeared completely.
"Take this!" Shiori shouted and she thrust a spear at him.
Juffel dodged, but suddenly he was struck by a torrent of water. Juvia was seething in rage, her usually pale face bright red in anger as she made arcs of water strike the ex-Phantom Lord wizard. He gasped in pain as they cut through his cloak and into his skin, blood slowly creeping out of the slashed in his arms and chest.
He held up his hand and Juvia stopped. She was struggling to move, as if he could control her.
"Remember lovely Juvia, I control the rain for the rain is a part of the storm, Rain Woman."
Juvia had a look of fear on her face, but I quickly stopped that as I used my signature move.
"LUCY KICK!" I shouted as I kicked him in between the legs.
Probably the worst way for a villain to go down, he squealed in pain and fell on his knees, clutching his man parts. I looked over and saw every guy in the guild holding their own man parts protectively. Ur had a look of sadistic joy as she glanced over at Revan who hid behind Eden as he watched.
"Lucy, better call the Rune Knights," Levy said and I nodded.
Several Hours Later
"YOU CANNOT IMPRISON ME!" Juffel yelled in rage as the Rune Knights hauled him to a magic mobile.
"We're doing it now," Darenbolt said as he watched with satisfaction.
"Thanks for coming," I said and he nodded with a smile.
"It's good to see you again Wendy," he said as he smiled at the Sky Dragon Slayer who blushed in embarrassment while Carla stood protectively in front of her.
He climbed in the front of the magic mobile, but before they could drive Juffel stumbled back out of the back. Several Rune Knights grabbed him as he tried to get to us.
"YOU CANNOT STOP ME!" he screamed in rage, his voice resounding through out the area, bouncing off buildings and drawing an enormous crowd. "THE LOVELY JUVIA WILL BE MINE!"
"I don't think so," Daren said as he came over and teleported Juffel back into the magic mobile.
"I am better than all of you," he growled as they put on more shackles on his arms and legs. "I learned the lost art of the storm, I was one of Phantom Lord's greatest wizards, and I peered into the time vortex itself."
We stopped at that last part, the Time Vortex?"
"What's that?" Levy asked.
"I've never heard of it," Gajeel stated.
"It is the very frabic of the universe," we heard and turned to look at Revan.
"What?" I asked.
"It's time itself."
"You seem to know everything," Ur murmured and Revan just looked at her with a stern and stoic look.
"I don't know everything, but I know about this," he stated. "My grandfather told me stories about it when I was a small child, a well of knowledge from history for it is history itself."
"So, the Time Vortex is like the timeline?" Levy asked and he nodded.
"It's just a fairy tale, mind the pun," he said and I gave a small chuckle along with all of us ex-Fairy Tails.
"It is no fairy tale," Juffel said as he stood up.
This time, no Rune Knight ran up to stop him. Daronbolt held them back, he wanted to listen to this as much as we did.
"I stared into the Time Vortex. I found it in the ancient scrolls and tomes. I read them, I searched and searched before I found it."
"Why?"
"Because I needed to know if I would see my lovely Juvia with me," he said with a smug smirk, but it dropped into a frown. "Instead I saw something greater."
"What?" we asked and he smiled.
"Do you want to know?"
"Yes," we all stated and he smiled wider.
"I saw the future in words."
Everything grew eerily quiet and cold.
"What?" I asked.
"I saw the future in words," he stated again, his voice turning into a mad and crazed tone.
"What prophecy?" Daronbolt said as he grabbed Juffel's shoulder.
He smiled wide and began to speak, his voice coming in a low tone full of knowledge.
"On the fields of Melodor, at the battle of Heartfilia. A choice shall be made."
"Heartfilia," I murmured. "What do you mean Heartfilia!"
"Even I don't know," he laughed and continued to laugh sadistically as Daronbolt threw him in the back of the magic mobile. "I'm only the messenger. I'm not suppose to know what the message means, I just deliver it!"
They closed the doors and Daronbolt walked up to me.
"I'm sorry," he said. "I don't know what it means."
"Revan?" I asked and he shook his head.
"I don't know either."
"Battle of Heartfilia," I murmured. "Something's going to happen."
"Something big," Levy said as she put her hand on my shoulder, "but we'll be there."
"You got that right bunny-girl," Gajeel said with a smirk, crossing his arms.
"I'll always be with you," Wendy stated and Juvia walked up to me.
"Juvia will stand with Lucy Heartfilia, her friend."
I smiled wide and looked at each of them. Star Legion stood by me, so did my friends. Most of Fairy Tail was with me, we were all still a family.
"Bye Doranbolt," I said as he walked to the magic mobile.
"Goodbye Lucy," he replied and got in.
Unknown POV
"That moron," a man said.
He sat in a luxurious chair, chin resting on his hand as he watched from a lacrima as Juffel was taken away.
"Penelope?"
"Yes sir," a woman asked as she stood next to him, her head bent down to look at him.
"Ready the magic mobile and get my coat, we're taking a walk."
"Thanks guys," I said with a smile.
