Now, let us begin
Revan POV
"Great, just great," I groaned as I sat down on the couch.
"Something wrong?" Eden asked as she plopped down next to me.
"We're missing Lucy, Juffel broke out and probably will again, and we need a new team for the Grand Magic Games."
"Right," she said and squirmed under my gaze.
"Guys," Ur said as she walked in, "we might have a lead."
We immediately jumped up and followed her to the destroyed hotel lobby we obliterated yesterday.
"Master," Levy said as she was stooped over a lacrima crystal.
"Yeah?" I asked as I strolled over, my trench coat slightly fluttering in the breeze that blew through the hotel lobby.
"What'd you find?" Eden asked as she strolled over with me.
"A lacrima crystal that was watching the lobby, it saw this," she explained and turned it on.
We looked into the bluish crystal and saw Lucy being hit from behind by a woman in a butler suit.
"Who's that?" I asked and they looked at me.
"Don't know," Naomi answered as she scanned the video with her eyes. "Let's just hope we can find out."
Wendy POV
"LUCY!" I shouted as Carla and I walked down an alley.
"I don't sense her magic signature here," Carla said as we kept walking.
"Can't you see into the future?" I asked and she shook her head.
"Not now, I haven't received a vision yet."
"Carla? Wendy?"
We turned to see a familiar white, humanoid cat walk to us.
"The Queen Exceed," I gasped as she approached. "What are you doing here?"
"My people wished to watch the Grand Magic Games, so in hopes we would find more Exceeds in the crowd."
"Where are the other Exceeds?" Carla asked with a raised eyebrow.
"They are walking amongst the people," she answered, "but why are you down this alley."
"We're looking for Lucy," I answered. "She was kidnapped."
"Kidnapped?" she asked. "By who?"
"We don't know," Carla huffed in annoyance, her arms crossed.
"Perhaps we can help," she said and gestured for us to follow. "Ever since we came to Earthland, we've built ourselves a small community. In exchange for our services as Exceeds, we're payed."
"So?" Carla asked again as we approached a hotel.
"We purchased rooms in this hotel to stay in during the Grand Magic Games."
We entered to find the place in complete chaos. Exceeds flew around, dropping furniture everywhere and throwing food all over the place.
"Of course I'll also have to pay for damages," she sighed and Carla laughed into her paw.
"I think you'll have to pay for the entire building after the Grand Magic Games."
She sighed again and I giggled. It was then that they noticed us.
"Your Majesty!" they all cried out and landed before bowing.
"Hello, please clean up," she asked and they all got up.
"Aye Sir!" they all shouted and ran around, cleaning up what they broke or vandalized.
"So how can you help us find Lucy?" I asked and she gestured at an Exceed who was flying.
"We can look from above while some of us can get into places you can't," she explained. "We would be humbled to help you search for Ms. Lucy."
"I'm afraid she's correct," Carla sighed. "We will go inform Revan, he'll want to know about this."
"Okay," I said. "Let's go."
Lucy POV
"Hey."
I opened my eyes to look up at the butler lady, what was her name again? Penelope.
"Here's dinner."
She slid a plate with a bowl of noodles and a glass of water in a slot at the bottom of the prison cell's bars.
"Why're you so nice to me?" I asked as I took the plate.
"Why wouldn't I be?" she asked as she leaned against the opposite wall.
"I thought you'd be jealous of me since he's a rich, handsome guy."
"You mean Henry or the other guy?" she asked and started laughing.
I weakly laughed along until I started eating.
"So you guys were arranged to be married, right?" she asked and I nodded as I gulped some water. "Why'd you run?"
"Well," I said while looking down, "I didn't really like him and also because my dad always ignored me. I was just a way for the company business to go on."
"Oh," she said in understanding, "so he wants you back?"
"Seems like it," I said. "Say, how'd you become his butler?"
"I tried to steal from him," she answered. "I was the master thief of Crocus before I stole from him. Instead of turning me in he decided to make me his butler and bodyguard."
"He sounds like a nice guy," I groaned as I finished up the food she brought me, "but why did you choose to work for him?"
"It was either that, going to jail, or being a tool for his amusement."
"I see," I replied and we laughed a bit. "You know, you could help me."
"And why would I do that?" she asked with a sly smile.
"Because you should?" I sheepishly said, laughing just as nervous.
"I don't think so," she said and walked off.
"Great," I groaned and leaned against a wall, "my only chance to get out and she doesn't want to help."
Henry took my keys, my whip, and had a special necklace with a magic cancelling lacrima in it wrapped around my neck that was made out of some powerful metal. I was trapped on his estate, right outside of Crocus and in the basement which he built a cell in.
"Guys, help me," I murmured in defeat as I looked at the stone wall.
Revan POV
"So this is what we got?" I asked as Wendy explained the situation to me.
"Yes Master, the Exceeds are helping, Levy and Naomi are searching through Crocus, and we have the other magic guilds looking into it too," Eden said.
"Uh, Revan?"
I turned my head and saw Throran standing outside the hotel.
"Yes Throran?"
"The Grand Magic Games are starting in a bit."
"Right," I said, "they delayed it for us a bit for today. Okay, Star Legion Team B, Throran, Ajax, Ur, Gwen, and Shiori."
They blinked and started cheering before rushing off to the arena.
"Everyone else, spread out and search," I ordered and they nodded before taking off too.
I slowly got up and walked towards the hotel entrance so I could get to the arena seeing as it was a requirement the guild masters had to watch.
Ur POV
"Alright guys," I said as I rubbed my hands together, an icy mist coming off of them as my magic power rose up. "What's the plan?"
"I say we blow everyone else out of the competition and win the competition," Throran said with a smile as he pulled out his metal base.
"Yeah, but what's the competition?" Gwen asked, her white eyes showing her annoyance as she crossed her arms, tapping her foot impatiently on the ground.
"They're announcing it," Revan said as he walked into out stands.
"Alright ladies and gentlemen!" the announcer shouted on his loudspeaker. "Here we are at the third day of the Grand Magic Games. We apologize for the delay of the competitions today, one of the magic guilds was attacked last night and early this morning."
People started murmuring and Revan lowered his head in shame. I sighed and looked up at the announcer's box as he began to announce the competition.
"Today folks, we are starting now with the Grand Magic Tournament!"
"Does everything have to start with Grand Magic?" I asked, moving a strand of my violet colored hair strand. "What's the Grand Magic Tournament?"
"Participants fight against each other in selected versus matches and the winner fights another winner until they reach the last two competitors who'll fight head on in an epic final battle of awesome proportions," Revan explained and we all looked at him, blinking in confusion. "What?"
"You just explained everything like a wise man," Ajax answered and he raised an eyebrow.
"Just go win," he groaned and I smirked as we left to go win the competition.
Levy POV
"Guys, this way," I said as we walked down a street.
Wendy, Gajeel, Pantherlily, and Carla followed me down the street and around a corner towards a large market district.
"Maybe someone here saw that woman."
Suddenly, we ran into a blonde haired girl running with a black haired guy.
"Naomi, Orin," I said as we ran into each other.
"Hey guys," Orin said and Naomi smiled.
"You have the same idea as we did?" Naomi asked and I nodded.
"Search the market for that one chick? Yeah," I answered and she smiled.
We looked around, asking vendors, passing citizens, and tourists if they'd seen a woman in a butler's suit. Unfortunately, no one had seen that person.
"Hello!"
We looked around for someone and saw nobody.
"Down here."
We looked down and came face to face with an Exceed. It was colored a pitch black like Pantherlily, but an X shaped scar ran over its left eye. He had a frown on, full of disappointment at us.
"The name's Malex, you're Star Legion wizards right?"
"Uh, yeah?" I cautiously answered.
"I'm an Exceed."
"We noticed," Gajeel said and Pantherlily along with Carla raised their eyebrows.
"The Queen wants us to help you search for Lucy Heartfilia, so I'm here to help," he said and grabbed Orin's back.
"Wha- HEY!" he shouted as Malex's wings appeared.
He flew them up and Orin was squirming in the air while we stifled laughter.
"Why'd you do that!" Orin shouted in anger while Malex kept a stoic expression.
"You're a dragon slayer, why wouldn't I?" he said and Orin was about to argue when he eyed something.
"Guys!" he shouted and pointed down the street.
There, holding a fruit in one hand and a he other hand tapping her cheek was the woman we were looking for.
"Come on," I said and we rushed to catch the woman, pushing through the crowd of people as she turned and left the fruit stand.
Third Person POV
"This cannot be allowed to go on!"
10 men and woman stood in a circle on a massive magic circle that hovered far above a dark pit.
"Juffel has looked into the Time Vortex, he saw the prophecy as we did," one stated in anger. "However, he was to weak to see what we did."
"She has not reached that point in her life yet however," another stated.
"It does not matter, the sooner she is stopped, the sooner all reality is safe."
"Such decisions is what caused this predicament," a young woman stated, pointing her finger in the air in a stern manner.
"We can stop it this time!"
"We cannot!" the lead wizard stated and they all looked at him with shock, he never spoke until a decision was made. "Today, at this meeting we shall decide what must be done in the future. Time can be rewritten, but it cannot be as well. We must choose wisely for what we do could very well be the reason all reality is destroyed."
They all nodded in unison and began to discuss their plan for the future.
