Gail was laying in bed waiting for Holly in the bathroom. It had been a long emotional day, but despite that she wasn't tired, probably thanks to her power nap earlier. What she wanted to do was spend time with her fiancé talking, cuddling and loving. She hoped Holly approved.
The door opened and revealed Holly exiting the bathroom with a bunch of steam behind her. Gail didnt give a damn about the Steam, she only cared about her naked and sexy girlfriend. She flicked back the covers to reveal her own naked body.

Gail cut Holly off with a soft tender kiss. "I'm sorry, you just had to stop talking" Gail teased. Holly rose a daring eyebrow
"I won't say another word" and swooped to cut off Gail's laugh. The kiss was deep but tender, tongues lovingly explored the others lips, teeth, mouth before swirling around each other. When Gail went to deepen it Holly pulled away.
"Holly" Gail groaned and the older woman shook her head.
"No. Tonight I want to show you how much I love you" Holly whispered and bent to lightly kiss her again "how much I adore you" she placed a kiss on a pale jaw and lathed her way with her tongue down a creamy neck to bite at a clavicle. "I am going to worship this gorgeous body as it deserves." "Fuck" Gail hissed as Holly finished up by gently taking her left nipple between her teeth and tugging as gently as she could to make it pull upright and stand to attention.
"Not tonight. Gail smiled slightly then pulled Holly down to her and hugged her tightly, holding on for dear life. Holly understood where it came from, everyone left Gail at some point or another. Whether it be emotional detachment by her parents and now of course the physical. Nick twice, even Chris. Some of the comments they had thrown at her on departing cut deep.
Holly was glad both men were now her friends. Things could be forgiven and both men were good friends now for they realised what had gone wrong in their relationship (Gail was a lesbian), but those words they said would never be forgotten. Gail was terrified she was going to lose her, Holly knew that, she would be right up until they said I do. "I love you Gail" she whispered and received a strengthening of the hug in return. "I'm not going to leave you I promise"
"Bet you say that to all the girls" Gail sighed and Holly couldn't help but chuckle.
"But I mean it with you" she kissed Gail's temple "we could just elope. Lets fly to Vegas for a weekend, get it done, take the pressure off"
"Tempting, but I'm not sure I like our marriage referred to as 'getting it done' Holly" Gail pulled back and Holly shrugged
"Guess we will have to go with the big fancy wedding after all, big dress with puffy sleeves and all" Holly laughed as Gail narrowed her eyes and lunged, flipping Holly over so that she was flat on her back. Holly blinked then looked up at Gail with a smirk "that was kinda hot, you should be aggressive more often"
Gail rolled her eyes, she was plenty aggressive in bed. She opened her mouth to offer a snarky reply when she was cut short by a loud growl. She looked startled for an instant then flushed in embarrassment as Holly chuckled an laid her hand over her stomach.
"Sounds like the beast is hungry"
"I didn't really eat a lot at dinner" Gail shrugged and Holly laughed at that
"You ate more than most Gail, but you're right you ate a lot less than you normally do" Holly cupped her face tenderly "want to go grab a half time snack?"
"More like an entree before I come back for the main course" Gail winked and delivering a quick kiss to her lover scampered off the bed as fast as her leg would let her and sort out a robe. Holly followed at a slower pace, figuring she should get a small energy boost to keep her going for the night too.
Once they were both dressed in robes they headed downstairs to raid the fridge, both so caught up in the other that they didn't realise until nearly at the bottom of the stairs that they weren't alone and that another couple was already in the kitchen. Seeing who it was Gail came to a complete stop and hauled Holly down so they were squatting low then fell onto her backside ungainly with her leg stuck out in front.
She bit her lip to stop from crying out in pain and grabbed at her knee. Holly immediately turned to her in concern but Gail urged her to be quiet and ignoring the pain which was dulling turned her attention to those sitting at the kitchen bench just finishing off a small meal. Gail's heart broke at seeing Harley sitting there, her two titanium legs on show, and wondered how she would have reacted to the situation Harley found herself in. Kudos to the woman for picking herself up and getting on with her life. Gail had been through some shit but now she figured it was nothing compared to what Harley had gone through.
As she watched Paige collected up their plates, laying a gentle hand on Harley's shoulders as she stood and carried them to the sink. Harley stayed where she was, head bent as she played with her coffee mug. Gail turned to look at Holly who appeared equally as taken with the scene and the silence that seemed to reign. It wasn't a comfortable silence, but nor was it uncomfortable. It just appeared tense, thick with something.
"Do you think you're family will think I'm weird tomorrow?" Harley finally asked and Gail's jaw dropped in shock. What?
Paige paused but didn't turn around as she shook her head
"You're not weird Hayley, or a freak or nutcase or any other word you could think of or been named by ignorant assholes in the past" Holly's cousin said quietly "half the families here have at least one person in the medical field and I'm positive none of my family thinks what happened makes you weird. In fact the only thing they will be thinking tomorrow is whether you can forgive them"
"What? Why?" Harley sat up straighter looking clearly confused
"For playing that stupid game and setting off an attack in the first place" Paige grated out, still sounding angry at her own cousins.
"They weren't to know" Harley shrugged and Paige just shook her head exasperated. Harley was just too open and kind at times. Even after all she had been through.
Gail and Holly just sat on the stairs fascinated by the byplay in front of them. They couldn't believe Harley could think they would ever think ill of her because of the attack. They both thought she was a very strong and courageous person. They were drawn back to the kitchen again when Paige spoke again
"Did you mean it today. What you said?"
"I said a lot of things today, you're going to have to be more specific" Gail could hear some humour in Harley's voice as she said it.
"When you said we were your family" Paige murmured so quietly Gail struggled to hear "when you gave thanks to us" she added, her back still to Harley as if she feared her reaction. Holly and Gail waited with baited breath as there was a long pause before Harley slid off her chair, pausing momentarily when Paige stiffened before slowly heading for her. Paige seemed to be frozen to the spot as Harley approached, then stopped right behind her.
"Yes I meant it. You are my family Paige, you and the kids. You're everything to me" Harley told her and Gail saw a slight relaxing of Paige's shoulders.
"The kids love you" Paige sighed
"I know, I love them too. Like they were my own" Harley raised a hand and placed it on Paige's shoulder "Where's all this coming from?"
"I was just thinking the other day that maybe you weren't coming up here with us because you had better plans. That guy at your work seems pretty keen"
"What?" Harley, Gail and Holly were all pretty confused at the direction of the conversation.
"I thought maybe you liked him too" Gail rolled her eyes at that, oh God was the woman blind? "Thought you might be staying with him and I wondered what do I tell the kids? What do I tell them if you meet someone and spend less time with us, have your own kids"
"Jesus Paige really? I can't stand the guy"
"Oh, Ok what about that neighbour of yours who's alway popping up,checking on you?" Paige threw out next and Gail swapped a confused look with Holly. What was Paige doing?
"Brian? He's ex military, knows what it's like. He's kinda like an annoying meddling big brother" Harley threw up her hands "will you please turn and look at me and tell me what this is all about"
Gail and Holly watched as Paige slowly turned and leant back against the sink, her hands clasped at the front of her with her head bowed. Harley sighed
"I knew me refusing to come up here upset you Paige, I thought it was time for family. I made a mistake and I knew it the second you were out of sight. I've just told you I meant it when I said you and the kids were family, I hustled my ass up here to be with you" Harley looked befuddled at the whole conversation.
"I know you said that" Paige nodded
"Then what is this conversation about?"
"What happens to the kids in the future if you meet a guy?"
"I'm not interested in meeting a guy" Harley growled but Paige seemed to be on a role
"Not right now, I realise that but in the future"
"Paige stop" Harley growled and took the other woman's hands which made Holly's cousin stand taller and appear to become even more flustered. Harley took the opportunity to take a step closer. "Paige, honey, what's this about really? And no more nonsense about boyfriends and kids reactions. I love those kids. I come over every night after work, I play kick with them the best I can, I help them with homework, make sure they eat their damn greens and help you put them to bed. I love them to death and the idea of not seeing them breaks my damn heart." Harley laced her finger with Paige's and gave them a gentle squeeze "I even let you use them to blackmail me into staying most nights. I stay minimum of four nights out of every week, I only tear myself away so you and the kids can have time together"
"We don't want time alone together. We want you there!" Paige cried and Hayley looked flummoxed. Gail was grinning, now they were getting somewhere. She nudged Holly who turned to look at her and mouthed 'I told you so'. Holly rolled her eyes and turned back to the action.
"You do?" Harley croaked, her voice stuck in her throat "but I'm there most of the time"
"It's not enough" Paige whispered so low Gail only just caught it.
"I don't understand, you want me to stay all the time? Like move in with you?" Harley appeared gobsmacked when Paige nodded "but there's no room and what about my place? Ok yeah that's a dive I could easily give up but there's no room at your house. The kids and you have the only three rooms and you use the fourth as your office and with my injuries I can't sleep on the couch"
"What's wrong with where you currently sleep?" Paige asked and Gail watched a red flush bloom on Holly's cousins cheeks. She was proud of the woman though. Go Paige.
"But I normally sleep with you?" Harley blurted and Gail nudged Holly again who thumped her back. Gail couldn't help but grin "what happens if you meet a guy, where do I stand?" Oh seriously are we really going to do this dance in reverse? Gail rolled her eyes. Talk about dense!
"A great woman once said 'I'm not interested in meeting a guy.' I do believe I feel the same way" Paige stated bravely and Harley seemed to freeze as understanding dawned. Gail watched as the other couple stared at each other for a long time as if finally realising what was right in front of them. Well that the other realised it too. Slowly a small smile broke out on Harley's face and an answering one tugged on the corner of Paige's mouth.
"Really?" Harley asked while shuffling closer and dropping Paige's hands so she could settle her own Paige's hips. Gail grinned when Paige wrapped hers around Harley's neck without hesitation.
"Really" Paige nodded and they watched as the tension seemed to drain out of her. It took a bit of a confusing conversation but they seemed to have hit the target in the end.
"You know it's pretty ballsy asking me to move in when you haven't even taken me on a date" Harley teased earning a small chuckle "not to mention a kiss" the chuckle caught on a sharp inhale and arms reflexively tightened as Paige pulled Harley closer and they both gasped as their bodies collided.
"I think that can be remedied" Paige whispered right before Gail watched them kiss for the first time, softly and quickly, just a short peck. She turned to wink at Holly.
"Should I take that as a yes?" Paige asked
"Yes" Harley growled and dived right back in for a deeper kiss.
Holly and Gail decided it would be prudent to leave while the other two were distracted, making their way back up the stairs as quickly as they could with Gail's bum leg. Finally when they made it back to their room they turned to each other with a smile.
"Remember our first kiss?" Gail asked and Holly grinned
"I love interrogation viewing rooms"
"I do believe you're going senile dear, I think it was a few months before, in a closet" Gail pointed out as she stalked towards her lover with a look in her eye that had Holly all flustered.
"Ok, technically but it was barely a peck and I...oh" Holly caught her breath as Gail tugged on the tie of her gown letting it fall open before roughly pushing it off her shoulders and letting it pool to her feet. "What are you doing? I thought you were hungry" she finished on a sharp inhale as Gail's robe joined hers on the floor and Gail hauled her roughly into her
"I am, but I'm gonna skip entre and go straight for the main course" Gail grinned and guided Holly backwards to the bed while they kissed with hunger. Upon reaching the bed she shoved Holly backwards on it and then climbed on top. Their breathing was heavy and the air was already thick with their arousal. "I love you Holly Stewart and I'm about to show you how much, my way"
"I can't wait" Holly croaked and Gail bent to silence her with a bruising kiss. Where Holly was slow and gentle and tender, Gail was hard and fast and frantic. Three fingers entered Holly without prelude the same time as Gail bit down on a clavicle and sucked hard enough to leave a mark. Gail wasn't worried that Holly wasn't ready, history told her Holly was always ready. Holly had unashamedly told her she got turned on just looking at her. "And after I lick you clean I'm going to get our toy and fuck you until you can't walk" Gail promised and Holly's eyes flew wide and she let out a scream that could wake the whole house, hastily cut off by Gail. Oh yeah, that was more like it.
Hayley and Andy paused outside Gail and Holly's room on their way downstairs to get a snack as the hastily cut off scream echoed around them.
"Oh man they are worse than rabbits" Hayley muttered
"Are you saying we won't be like that when we can finally have sex?" Andy asked as she tugged Hayley along with their joined hands
"Absolutely not" Hayley grinned when Andy shot her an affronted look "I'll make you scream louder and longer than either Gail or Holly ever have " she promised and chuckled when heat swept across her girlfriends face.
They continued down the stairs until they were halfway down and realised that the kitchen wasn't empty, nor were the occupants eating. With a sigh they turned around and headed back to their room to wait a bit longer
"No fair, everyone's getting sex but me" Hayley grizzled and Andy grinned as she cuddled up to her partner the best she could
"They were hardly having sex, if thats you're definition of sex I'm gonna have to educate you" Andy teased
"Smart mouth. We both know who's going to be doing the educating darling, it's my role as a Dom to show you what we both like"
"And i cant wait" Andy shivered at the very thought "I promise to take some time off when my shoulder is right and we can come lock ourselves away for a few days" she promised and Hayley grinned.
"You better, I have a lot planned for you" and while Andy was still looking all glazed eyed and dreamy bent down to seal the promise with a kiss.
At six the next morning Gail gave up trying to sleep thanks to her growling stomach. Carefully slipping out of Holly's arms then the bed she skipped a shower as she was too hungry to wait and quickly dressed in track pants and jumper. Strapping on her knee brace she headed down the stairs to the kitchen to raid the fridge. Her mouth started watering when she saw the bacon there. Oh hell yeah.
Five minutes later she had a pan full of bacon and two eggs. God help anyone who interrupted her from eating this. She must have jinxed herself cause just as she was plating it a very ruffled Harley walked in rubbing her eyes. Gail wanted to be pissed but she just couldn't, especially when she saw her neck.
"Hey there champ, have a fight with an octopus?" She teased then laughed when Harley's confused look turned to horror and she covered her neck with her hands "yeah. Might want to find a scarf if you and Paige aren't ready to tell anyone. Thanks by the way, you totally won me a bet with Holly"
"Um, thanks" Harley looked flummoxed as she watched Gail plate her food onto one plate "considering we are moving in together no point in hiding them. Paige deserves to be teased for being so careless"
Gail sat down at the bench and started hoeing in with gusto while Harley just stared
"You're eating all that?"
"Yup" Gail grinned around a mouthful of food "I didn't eat a lot of dinner last night and the kitchen was occupied when I came down for a snack in the middle of the night" she paused and watched the other woman blush bright red "thought I'd just warn you. Holly is awful with secrets, likely to blurt it out at the dinner table"
"God what did you see?" Harley slumped in a seat beside her Face buried in her hands.
"Well we don't think you're weird. I for one think you're an incredibly brave woman, braver than me. We split when things got a little steamy" she assured
"Lucky you" came a voice behind them and they turned to see Andy strolling towards them, cover girl at her best and Gail doubted she even tried. "I hope you and Paige cleaned the kitchen after defiling it last night"
"Oh gross" Gail groaned shooting off the stool and picking up her plate while shooting a mortified Harley a glare. Andy grinned as she stole a piece of bacon off of Gail's plate. Gail growled.
"Oh for gods sake we didn't have sex in the kitchen!" Harley groaned and sighing in relief Gail sat again. Andy smirked and raided the fridge to start preparing breakfast for herself, Harley and Hayley who would be down shortly. She figured Holly too, the woman was never far behind Gail. She had become rather adapt at one handed cooking over the past few weeks so wasn't worried about cooking for so many.
"But you had sex. How do you rate the girl on girl action?" Gail taunted
"Ignore her." Andy insisted "the more she stirs the more she likes you"
"Just cause I forgave you for fucking my boyfriend" Gail grumbled and Harley's jaw dropped open in shock as Andy merely flipped her off
"Stop complaining. You found Holly" Andy took out a knife and cutting board and dumped the bacon on the board.
"Yeah, then you went and slept with Holly's cousin" Gail added and Harley's head was spinning trying to keep up.
Andy paused from trimming the fat off the bacon and waved the knife at Gail
"We slept only, you know it took me until the accident to wake up to what I have. Harley and Paige are well ahead of us on the physical side"
"You and Hayley haven't had sex!" Harley asked gobsmacked and Gail smirked while Andy rolled her eyes
"No, unlike blondie here I fought my feelings for a long time. Even after I moved in with Hayley" at Harley's confused look added "ex with possession issues" and saw the dawning on Harley's face.
"You were sleeping with Harley within a month" Gail snorted "that girl had a lot of patience with you"
"And she will be well rewarded" Andy winked at Harley as she turned on a couple of burners and slapped a pan on each. She waved away Harley's offer to help, cracking five eggs into the pan expertly with one hand, then filling the rest and the second pan with strips of bacon.
"Wow if you're this good with one hand I'd like to see what you produce with two"
"That had better have a non sexual connotation to it kiddo or we are going to have a problem" came a growl behind them and Harley flushed as they turned to find Hayley, Holly and Paige standing behind them. Hayley, who had uttered the growl was giving Harley a pointed look but the army vet had eyes only for Paige.
"She's cooking like a pro with one hand" Harley informed Paige as Hayley came forward to help her partner and Holly sat next to Gail after giving her a loving kiss in greeting. Gail turned to watch Harley and Paige watching each other awkwardly.
"Oh for gods sake sucker get over here and kiss her already. Not like she doesn't already looked like she had a fight with an octopus last night." Gail teased and Paige's eyes shot wide as Holly and Hayley had closer looks and shot their cousin an impressed look. Hayley turned to look at Andy "I told you they'd have sex"
"Oh for Gods sake we didn't have sex" Harley snapped getting tired of the teasing "just cause your mrs is slow on the uptake and you haven't got past first base don't take it out on me"
There was a stunned silence for a moment as they all stared at each other, before Gail felt her lips start to twitched and she covered her mouth with her hand. Soon they were all giggling and Hayley nodded at Harley, this girl could hold her own.
"Welcome to the family. Hurt her and the kids and I'll finish you off though" she warned.
"Hayley" Paige growled coming to sit next to Harley and taking her hand. Hayley just shrugged and turned to help Andy with the food. As they all sat for breakfast they had a mutual agreement to talk about anything but their relationships which had Gail telling Harley and Paige about the case that led them to get injured.
"Did they catch the robbers?" Harley asked
"Nope, slippery buggers slipped back into the US" Gail grumbled scowling at Holly's plate as she had finished her breakfast and wanted some of Holly's. Holly sighed and handed over a piece of bacon.
"We do know who they are though. They're now on your FBIs most wanted list" Andy supplied and Harley nodded
"Good"
They continued to eat as people started to come down for their own breakfast. The general consensus when they saw Paige and Harley together was one of happiness. Jasmine, Paige's mother, did inform her daughter her mouth wasn't a vacuum cleaner and to take it easy on Harley's neck in future.
When the kids bounded down the stairs and were informed of the relationship and Harley moving in they were confused and happy at once. Confused because they already thought they were in a relationship, happy cause they were excited about Harley moving in.
As for Harley, she was relieved to be accepted by the family and awed when told they were her family now too. The guys apologised for causing her to have an attack the previous day and should have known better. A couple even admitted to reading up on PTSD the previous night And some of the do's and dont's. Harley appeared overwhelmed by all the positive attention and Gail gave her a gentle nudge.
"Told you we don't think you're weird"
"No you're the weird one" Hayley laughed and Gail merely rose a brow
"What's that say about your cousin marrying me?" Gail yelped when Holly elbowed her in the ribs
"We ain't down the aisle yet Peck. If you want to change your name to Stewart I'd be careful what you say"
Harley watched the continued byplay between Paige's cousins with awe. Even April and Nicola stepped in to join the tease fest. Feeling the slight squeeze to her hand she turned to look at Paige.
"You ok?"
"Never been better" Harley promised "your family is awesome"
"Your family too now" Paige smiled and while Harley sat there in shock trying to absorb the fact she now was a part of a loving caring family Paige got to her feet and kissed her quickly before heading over to help with dishes. Harley was stunned at the show of affection in front of the family but smiled as the good natured ribbing turned on her. A solid weight that had been sitting on her shoulders for as long as she could remember lifted and she felt free. She had a family. A family that accepted her 100% and she was beyond thrilled. As she looked over at the woman who had captured her heart she found Paige watching her in return and smiled. Life was looking up.
Shorter chapter but you got a couple of good sex scenes in there. Please review.
