Hey, Hey, Hey. Long time no see eh? Sorry about the long wait. SCHOOL WORK! Dx
So I bought Catching Fire (Saw it at the Midnight Premiere) and I've watched it like ten billion times
I've also owned Frozen on my phone for almost two weeks. No I'm not a pirate. I live in the 21st century you crazies. Anyway thank you all for reviewing and so on and so forth. 3 Love you all. Cookies, and Jared Padalecki (A.K.A. The Moose. A.K.A Padamoose.) for all. I am going to skip a few years, but Lukie Poo will still be a toddler so be HAPPY!
Disclaimer: Unfortunatley I am not a married man, with two sons who lives in Texas who wrote some amazing books. Because if I was I sure as heck wouldn't be typing here. I'd be working on my next book.
Annabeth's P.O.V.
I was sitting on the couch, laptop on lap a few curly strands of hair hanging in my face, while the rest was pulled back into a messy ponytail. I could feel my eyebrows scrunched together, and my face must have been pretty terrifying to Luke, who was sitting on the floor staring at me. I wasn't the happy, playful mommy right now, I was the focused, distant work mommy to him right now. He picked up one of his several toys, waving it around and then throwing it at me. For a two year old he could throw hard. It cracked me in the head. I became unfocused and touched where he had thrown the toy. I looked up and he smiled his I-know-I-did-something-but-I'm-too-cute-for-you-to-yell-at smile, just like Percy did.
"Lucas Charles Jackson, get your itty bitty butt over here right now," I said firmly, pointing to the spot in front of me on the floor. He giggle squealed, and stood up on his chubby toddler legs. He then proceeded to run away. I smiled, and set my laptop down beside me, and stood up. He'd already hidden. I knew exactly where he was, but I pretended not to so I could hear his laugh. I tapped my chin, pretending to think about it. "Where could that little devil be?" I questioned aloud, hearing his giggling from under the kitchen table. I looked around, in the cupboards, in the refrigerator, in the pantry, and even under the couch, and he started giggling harder every time I searched the wrong area. I finally swooped him out from under the table, tickling him to no end while he screeched and screeched, trying to push my hand away with his chubby fingers. He thrashed around, eyes squeezed tight but mouth wide open. I finally stopped, flopping down onto the couch, him sitting next to me.
"Do you want some lunch bud?" I asked, stroking his pale blonde hair out of his sea green eyes. He nodded over enthusiastically, struggled to get off the couch, and then ran to the kitchen table. She stood on the bottom of the tall stool, trying to get up on his own, like he did everyday, and I gave him a little boost afterwards. I put some soon to be grilled cheese supplies onto the pan I kept out specifically for lunch time. When the grilled cheese was done I slipped it onto a paper towel, and set it down in front of Luke, who then started mauling it. The door opened, and I was surprised to see Percy. I walked over, giving him a quick kiss and I could feel the stubble rubbing against my cheek when he hugged me lightly with one arm. "Why are you home so early?" I asked.
"Snow isn't going to stop so they sent the kids and teachers home. Have you seriously not looked outside?" He asked, pulling back on of the curtains, exposing the world no claimed in white.
Luke saw his dad and squealed, leaving the half eaten grilled cheese on the table, and he ran to Percy who swooped him up and planted a kiss on his soft forehead. Percy set his bag down by the window, shutting the blinds. He set Luke down, pointing to the table and telling him to continue eating. He then pulled me close, giving me a sweet kiss on the lips, wrapping his arms around my waist. In turn I wrapped my arms around his neck, letting him bury his face in my neck. The scratchiness of the stubble was driving me absolutely insane. I pulled away from him, my nose wrinkled, and he looked at me with his signature sea weed brain look.
"What?" He asked.
"The stubble," I said, almost sweetly, rubbing the side of my neck for reference.
He felt along it and then smiled. He tackled me to the ground, and started rubbing his face all over mine. I growled at him, trying to push him off of me, but his body weight was too much alone, let alone the fact he was deliberately crushing me. He finally got up, after I'd attempted to bite his nose. He pulled me up, kissing me again, and I attempted to shove him, but he just held me closer. The kiss lingered until we heard the small pitter patter of Luke's itty bitty baby feet. We separated almost immediately, and turned smiling at him.
"Hey buddy," Percy said, swooping him up, "Bath time," He said and Luke screamed trying to get away. He wasn't the biggest fan of being clean. Before Percy entered the bathroom, he turned and mouthed at me, "We'll finish this later."
I laughed and rolled my eyes, going back to my laptop. I sat on the couch, wrapping myself up in the quilt Sally made. I pushed a piece of my hair out of my face, and began editing the temple to Apollo's "needs." I heard splashing and squealing and Percy laughing. I shook my head, chewing on my bottom lip as I expanded the digital blueprints, so it would fit Apollo's big ego. All metaphorical I know, I know. Percy came out sopping wet, since we hadn't quite decided whether we would tell Luke or not, and Luke toddled out, grinning from ear to ear. I looked at the clock. 1:34.
(5 hours later.)
"Luke it is bedtime," I said, frustrated.
Luke shook his head, his arms crossed and his eyebrows scrunched. He looked like a grumpy old man.
"Yes. You need your sleep, or you'll stay small forever and then all the other kids will pick on you," I said, lying smoothly, pointing to his bedroom.
He shook his head again, and I threw my hands up in the air, exasperated, and then I glared him down, hands on my hips, my face sinking to his eye level. "Lucas. Charles. Jackson. If you do not go to bed right now, I will NOT feed you for the rest of your life," I threatened, planning on giving up after this.
He then stumbled to his bed, tripping a few times, but soon stood at the edge of his crib, waiting to be picked up. I picked him up, and set him down, and he lied down, sticking his thumb into her mouth. I covered him with his blanket, tucked him in, kissed his forehead and then left the room, shutting the lights off and closing the door quietly. Percy was sitting on the couch, watching The Walking Dead or whatever. I sat down next to him, planning on pulling my laptop back into my lap, but Percy pulled me towards him before that was even possible. He rubbed his stubble against my face, and I pulled lightly on the hair that curled at the nape of his neck. I laughed as we fell to the floor, and he smiled his amazing Percy smile. Our lips collided as they had a million times before, and Percy wrapped his arms around me. We both smiled into the kiss, and pulled away, our foreheads pressed together. Percy picked me up, kissing me again, and carrying me to our room with his still muscular arms.
Well what a lovely way to end the chapter. BABY-MAKING!
