Chapter 18

Just moments after they snuggled up they hear someone walking through the house and then their bedroom door opens...

The moment Olivia heard someone walking in her house she takes her gun of the nightstand and pushes Alex of the bed softly. Motioning at the blonde to lay down under the bed. As Alex climbs under the bed Olivia walks to the door and waits at the side from the door post opposite of the turning direction of the door. The Detective is sharp and ready to attack who ever comes through the door. She will protect Alex with her life if she needs to. As soon as she sees a hand with a gun she turns a quarter and takes the hand in wrist lock making the person drop their gun. Then pulls at the arm and turns herself so that she can she sweep the person over her shoulder and on to the floor. The Detective is ready to make the next move when she sees that she just floored Carry. Letting her go Olivia grabs a blanket from the bed to cover herself and turns back.

"Christ Jr. I could have killed you! What are you doing here and sneaking through the house?!" Olivia calls out loud.

The Detective walks to the chair and picks up the robe that's lying there and walks to the bed and lays it down on the floor for Alex.

"I was on my way to check the area at the other side of the house when I heard Alex and you screaming. That's why I came back and into the house. And did I find you naked. Next time you decide to have crazy wild jungle sex, close that window please." Carry says pointing at the open window.

"Don't worry there won't be a next time. This is exactly why it won't happen again. I was lucky that I heard someone walking in the house and that it turns out to be you. I didn't want to do it at first but I let Alex persuading me to make love, easily. That's what happened and not crazy wild jungle sex as you call it. Now turn around so that Alex can get up from under the bed and put the robe on." Olivia says.

"I'll go back to the living room so that you two can put some clothes on before you come there too." Carry says and turns around to walk out of the room.

"Alright Alex you can get up Jr. is out of the room." Olivia says.

Alex climbs from under the bed and puts the robe on before she turns to Olivia who's still holding the surrounding blanket.

"Do yo mean what you just said? That it won't happen again?" Alex asks.

"Yes I do. But for the reasons I mentioned to Carry." Olivia answers.

"So you really didn't want to make love. Well at least you said making love and not just having sex. Don't worry Detective, I won't persuade you to make love again. I thought you wanted it as much as I did, guess I was wrong about that." Alex says being hurt.

"Alex that's not what I meant. I do..." Olivia says.

"Don't. I got the message loud and clear." Alex says.

"Alex you're taking this the wrong way. You got the message wrong, very wrong I might add." Olivia says, trying again.

"Do I? I know we both were scared out of our minds when we heard someone walking and that door opened. But you said, very clearly I might add, that it won't happen again. There's nothing to get wrong about that." Alex says.

"Yes there is if you think that's all. I never not want to make love to you. But it's too dangerous to make love now. Carry walking inside and coming into our, yes our, bedroom proves it. I let my guard down and are not focused on anything else but you and that isn't something I can afford right now. What if it wasn't her but someone else? I can't let that happen. So it's my short coming that we can't make love not yours. You make me forget everything else but you. And as long as we don't know where Lewis is, as long as we don't have more information about everything else it's not worth to take the risk. Because if something would happen to you, again, I never will forgive myself that too. I don't want you to get hurt or worse to get killed. I love you Alex, I want for ever with you if you want that too. But that's not gonna happen if I screw it up and don't protect you like I should. I know we are just starting this relationship and I don't want to put any pressure on you at all but that's how I feel about it. You Alexandra Cabot mean everything to me and I don't want to go living my life without you in it because I didn't pay enough attention. So again, I really did mean what I said to her and exactly and only for the reasons I told her cuz making love to you makes me not being able to think straight when I need to." Olivia says, happy that Alex let her finish this time.

Alex is touched with the words Olivia just spoke to her. The blonde thought that she would scare the Detective away if she would say what she wants but Alex finds out that there is no reason for that.

"You want for ever with me?" Alex asks softly.

Olivia rolls with her eyes.

"Of all the things I just said that's the only thing you remember. Yes I do want for ever with you. If you want that with me that is." Olivia answers softly, looking away shyly.

Alex walks to Olivia and puts her hands on Olivia's waist while answering the brunette.

"Yes I want for ever with you. I wanted that for a long time. I just didn't say it afraid it would scare you away." Alex says.

"Alex, I made a deal with Hammond a long time ago that if I ever needed to go into Witsec, for the rest of my life, that I would take you with me if you would want that. Do you really think I would have made that deal if I didn't want for ever with you? I don't think so. Now let's get dressed before Jr. comes back to get us and sees us not being dressed again. When I get my ass kicked I prefer to be dressed for that not being covered with a blanket and to be naked under that blanket." Olivia says smiling.

Alex let Olivia go so that they both can dress themselves. Thinking about what the Detective said.

"Why do you get your ass kicked?" Alex asks.

"Because I made love with you and with an open window. Letting down my guard by doing that and with that I jeopardized the three of us. I shouldn't have done that. She may have joked about it but I know she was serious about it. As she should be. I would have kicked her ass if our roles were turned around. Don't think I regret making love with you. I will never regret that. But she is right." Olivia answers.

"There are two persons accountable for that Liv. You can't make love if you're alone you need someone else to do that. So we are both guilty, so to speak. She shouldn't be kicking your ass alone. I was part of it too so she should kick my ass too if she's gonna kick yours." Alex says.

"No she shouldn't and she won't. She shouldn't do it because I'm the one putting us in jeopardy not you. You're the civilian in this house we are not. So you are not to blame and shouldn't she kick your ass. She won't kick your ass, figuratively, because she knows that I will kick hers again, literally, if she does that." Olivia answers back.

"Right. No one kicks Detective Badass Benson's girlfriend's ass unpunished." Alex smirks.

"You've got that right, Counselor. Not if you value your life that is." Olivia smiles.

"I think she got that message loud and clear when she came into our bedroom judging on the sounds that I heard." Alex says dryly.

"Actually, she didn't got the chance to came into our bedroom. She got into our bedroom because I pulled her into it and floored her by sweeping her over my shoulder." Olivia grins.

Alex laughs at Olivia's answer and shakes her head.

"Well let's go to the living room." Alex says.

"Yeah, let me face the firing squad in the living room." Olivia says.
