A.N. AHH I'm finally updating. Blah blah blah, I'm just gonna get on with it, ok? ok. Pleas excuse grammar and spelling errors in this chapter. I'm rushing for you people. And I will edit this chapter, later, cause I thing it sucks as is right now.

Enjoy!

Lin POV

I woke up and looked out the window, shielding my eyes from the sun. We were finally here! Gosh, I think I cramped my legs from curling up too long.

Milly hustled us off the train, and into the hotel/convention center thingy (A.N. Bear with me. I finished the series months ago, and well, its a long-ish series and with lots of details I'll double check later) where we proceeded to do a whole bunch of time consuming stuff. If I actually fully wake up, I'll tell you more about it.

*time skip, say, half an hour*

So there we were, going about our merry business, when BAM! the JLF is grabbing people left and right, holding them hostage. I try to run, but there was too many of them, the crowds were going crazy, and overall it was just plain chaotic. I saw a flash of pink hair somewhere, but I thought it was juts my imagination. My arm was grabbed, then practically yanked from my side.

"Hey! Let go of me, you bastard!" I tried swinging my oh so heavy bag, and it smacked someone on the head. My arm was released and I tried running again. Straight into the arms of another JLF member. Great.

We were all bound and watched, guns pointed at our heads. That's when they started taking prisoners away and pushing them from the top of the building. Apparently, the JLF was attempting to strike a deal with Cornelia, but there not going to get anywhere with her. She only really cares about Euphie and Guilford.

Beside me, Nina whimpers and says something about the 'Elevens'. Bah. Racism. Too bad I actually kind of like her. One of the men grabs her and yanks her to her feet, demanding to know what she said. I'm about to get up and stop them, when another vice rings out.

"Stop! I am Euphemia li Britannia, and I demand you release her immediately. You may take me in her place." My head snaps in her direction, and before I know what I am doing, I rush forward and stand protectively in front of her. "Who-"

"Euphie, I'm afraid I can't let them do that. I'd hate myself forever if I let you do this." I hear her gasp and she glomps me. In the middle of an act of terrorism. I'm just as confused as everyone else in the room. When she lets me go, someone grabs her. "Euphemia! Let her go, you monsters!" They all chuckle and continue dragging her away. I can't think of what I can do, I don't know what to do, what can I- "I'm the fiance of the Second Prince, Schneizel el Britannia!" WTF?

It seems to have caught their attention. Soon enough, I'm being dragged away with Euphie, and I cast one sad glance at Milly, Shirley, and Nina before I am pulled from the room. "I hate you people."

My head is smacked with the barrel of someone's guns and everything becomes blurry. "Why? Because we're Japanese?" Another blow to the head.

"No, because you're monsters in the guise of humans. You are people who hurt other people, innocent people born and raised in this society." Everything is out of focus, black creeping into my vision. I think this is what dying could be like. Did my mother see this?

My eyes blink open, and I see the mask of Zero hovering over me.

Explosions, rumbling, screams, gunfire. So much noise.

Water, rocking, the sound of an engine, voices talking, one high, one low.

I hear nothing around me. A hand touches my shoulder, I open my eyes slowly. Milly is smiling down at me, her face tracked with tear stains.

I am not dead.
