A.N. UPDATE, UPDATE, UPDATE! YAY, the lazy author is finally posting the next chapter! Woo-hoo! Haha! Yip- wait. I'm the lazy author. Oops.
Well, people, here is your well deserved update. Want an excuse? I had no computer access. What-so ever. Woe is me.
Anyways, to cut to the chase, I quit on chapter titles right now. I'm the lazy author, remember? This is my story, I get to do what I want. Which is why my ending is going to kill you all. I have it all planned out in my evil mind. Be ready...

Chapter 6: [Insert (A Possibly) Funny, Semi-Relevant Title Here]
IMPORTANT: Special hints to the story in the bottom A.N.
Sazai POV
I woke up this morning to voices. SO MANY VOICES. Blearily, I sit up, rubbing my eyes with the back of my hand and yawn. What the fuck is going on? Why are there so many voices outside my door? I get out of bed and open the door just a crack. I see lots of blonde, blue, white, black, and orange. Yumi must have invited the guys over. Trudging out my now opened door (screw ninja stealth, I'm tired, dammit) I walk into the bathroom and grab my toothbrush. Quickly applying toothpaste and adding a bit of water, I stuff the toothbrush into my mouth and scrub. Then I wash my face, brush my hair, and decide to say hello to all the people in my home.
"What the fuck are all you doing in here at the ungodly hour of 10 a.m.?" They stare at me incredulously, then Soul snickers.
"Ungodly hour of 10 a.m.? And what's up with those PJs, Wren-Chan?" I glance down to see what was wrong with my pajamas. An over-sized t-shirt and some shorts (that may have been kinda short, maybe they just rode up my legs a bit). I yawn again before answering.
"I couldn't sleep last night at all and finally collapsed from exhaustion at 4. And my PJs are comfy, idiot. And don't call me that." More stares, this time more curious. I don't respond to the questioning glances and head to the kitchen. "Hope y'all like Asian cooking. I'm about to make some champorado." They all seem confused, except for Yumi (who has eaten champorado before) and Maka (who must have read about it somewhere). I just smirk and get to work.
*time skip*
I place steaming bowls of chocolate rice, a.k.a. champorado, in front of everyone. Then I bring out cream and milk for anyone who wants it. "Eat up." I say with a smile.
After a while, everyone is full and satisfied, and Blackstar brings up basketball.
"So, who wants to play?" I volunteer, along with Patti, Kid, Soul, and Tsubaki. Yumi wants to watch and song-write, Maka can't play, and Liz doesn't want to break a nail. "Three-on-three, guys versus girls!"
I get up and change (everyone's already in gym gear) and then we head to the park. Oh, goodie, street ball. It's been forever since I've played outdoors.
"Heads or tails?" I hear Soul ask Tsubaki.
"Tails." Soul flips the coin and it lands on heads. The boys get first possession.
"So what happens to the losing team?" I ask. There's obviously a punishment involved here.
"Well, the winning team gets to pick a punishment for the losing team's captain." Patti says. "You're our captain." She places a hat on my head and my eye twitches. Of course. So if we lose, I lose even worse. I turn the cap backwards and glance at the other team.
"Who's their captain?"
"I think Soul is this time." Tsubaki answers my question and offers up a small smile. We get to the court and Yumi, Maka, and Liz settle on the bench. Notepad, book, nail-file. Then Soul checks the ball with me and the game starts.
He passes it off to Blackstar who is being covered by Tsubaki. He fakes a shot, then tries to drive in to the basket, only to have Patti block his path. Kid is left open, and he immediately receives the pass. Trying to make his shot perfect (90 degree angle, feet lined up perfectly, etc.) Tsubaki runs up and slaps it out of his hands. I run down the court and wave my hands in the air. She sees me and throws me an over-head pass. Catching it, I dribble in for the basket when Blackstar appears next to me. I stop and shoot a pull-up jumper instead of an easy lay-up and the ball floats in, all net. We go back and forth for a bit, racking up the points, until we're tied. Whoever makes the next shot wins. Patti slams the ball down on Soul and Tsubaki gets the rebound. Looking down court, I'm already sprinting, calling for the ball. She tosses it up, but it's way to high. I try to gain speed, and I take a chance and leap for the ball. I see the rim, and I grin. To hell with it. Let's try to dunk it. I'm in midair, the ball coming down to meet me, and when I grab it, the basketball barely makes it over the rim. But it's in, Yumi's got the picture, and I DIDN'T LOSE. Thank Lord Death.
Soul walks over to me, and picks me up, fireman's carry. Then he plops me on the bench (with a few new injuries courtesy of me) and stares. "Daaaay-um. That's a helluva way for me to lose." Oh, yeah, since we won, he get a punishment. After some debate, he has to be all the girls' personal servant for the week (Maka, Yumi, and Liz included).
It's all been fun and games, and we all go out for ramen to eat for dinner. Everyone is sleeping over at our place, I guess, since the gang goes to our apartment then doesn't leave. I'm smiling like an idiot, and we're all having a good time. Maka's saying something about a new book, and I'm nodding, asking if I can borrow it from her, when I start seeing spots. Black circles are invading my vision, until I can't see any light. Then all the voices start to fade, and I barely notice my head hitting the ground and someone shaking my shoulder saying "Wren? Wren? Wren? WREN?"
I'm in a room, blindfolded. The sound of dripping water is the first thing I notice. Then the cold hits me, chilling me to the bone. My Soul Perception isn't working; it's like someone laid a damp cloth over all my senses. I try to turn, to shake off my blindfold.
"Hehehe, hello there, songbird. Will you sing me a song tonight?"
I freeze. That voice, it can't me. It just can't. Madness starts to bubble up within me (I'm familiar with Madness. When the Kishin was reborn, i went kinda psycho for a bit), as I babble on in my mind. Nonononononono... It just CAN'T be. impossible. Right? That's right... I think. Hope. Wish. I mean it can't be, it's not possi-
"Oh, don't be that way, my dear pet. You're scaring our A voice of silk, soft and welcoming, washing over my fears, smoothing over any creases. "We can't be bad hosts, now can we? It's just not right. After all, a soul needs to be nurtured, especially this girl's. It's special. And it means a lot to Mummy. Now, then girl, what's your name?"
"Wr-Wr-Wren, ma'am." I stutter for unknown reasons. Why am I scared? This lady said I was her guest. And her voice is so beautiful...
"Wren... How fitting. Now, can you tell me where you live, so I may bring you home?"
"I-I live in Death City, ma'am. I attend the DWMA."
"Oh." She sounds upset, did I say something wrong? "Well, then, you best be off. We're a long way from the DWMA, but we'll be there soon. It was so nice to meet you, dear."
I open my eyes to find Yumi hovering over me. What just happened?
A.N. END of chapter 6. So, what's going on, huh? Who was that lady? WELL, ONLY I, THE EVIL, LAZY, PSYCHO AUTHOR OF THIS STORY KNOWS! MWAHAHAHAHAHA!
Okay, so I'll offer you one hint of a semi-unimportant-important detail.
Quote from story: "A voice of silk, soft and welcoming," and "Wren... How fitting."
Hint: Where does silk come from? And how might this be fitting when my character is named Wren?
Buh-bye!
