Previously...

"Now that the Champions within you have awakened, it is only a matter of time before you reach the location of those you seek." Oramon said.

"Where do we have to go?"

Oramon's eyes bore into them, "You must travel to the origins of the Digital World. You must travel to the Digital Core."

The small Digitalia froze in shock, "The Digital Core? Are you serious?" Hungamon asked.

"The Digital Core is the most sacred place in the Digital World; every Digitalia here was configured by the Digital Core!" Japamon protested.

Oramon nodded in understanding, "Only at the Digital Core will everything become clear; even you will discover something life changing." He said to the children. "Travel to the north and you shall find the entrance; your Digitalia will know the way." He then whipped around and vanished without a trace.

Everyone stood in silence, all the Digitalia were staring with their mouths agape. "He…he really wants to go to the Digital Core?" Itamon squeaked.

Hungamon sighed, "It is the only way to help our partners get home," she pointed out.

"Is it really such a big deal to go there?" Austria asked.

"Like we said, the Digital Core is sacred, it's also dangerous." Canamon answered.

Belamon nodded solemnly, "Traveling to the Digital Core is no problem; it's what inside that holds danger."

"It's not gonna be a cakewalk, that's for sure." Amerimon said, putting a hand on his head.

Britain couldn't help but hide a small smile, that's exactly what America would say.

Prussiamon rolled his eyes, "C'mon guys, we took down Azelmon, we can take the Digital Core no problem!" he said. The albino began walking down the path, "C'mon my awesome army, the Digital Core awaits!"

The other children scurried after him, "Since when are we your army?" Hungamon demanded, "You're not the leader here!"

"And you're going the wrong way Prussiamon," Japamon spoke up, "We have to go north, you're going south."

The nations all sighed as they watched the bickering children; now that their memories were back this was going to be a long trip.

They traveled in the designated direction until nightfall. They hadn't run into any Digitalia that meant them any harm, they guessed because the darkness from Shadow Mountain had finally dissipated for good. The group eventually set up camp with the nations tending the fire and the Digitalia finding materials to eat and sleep.

Canamon looked at a tall tree that was full of familiar blue berries. "Hey guys, I found some Maya berries!" he called softly. The other Digitalia met up with him and looked at the tall tree happily.

"Alright, it's been a while since we've had these!" Amerimon said excitedly.

"But how are we going to get them?" Belamon asked as if it was an obvious question.

Prussiamon responded by flapping his yellow wings to fly up, but he only managed to hover a few feet before falling to the ground tiredly. He had had his strong wings as Gilbamon for so long that he had forgotten how weak they were as Prussiamon.

"Now what?" Itamon asked.

Hungamon's face lit up, "How about we just knock them down?" she suggested.

The other children looked at the tree deep in thought. The branches were to high up for them to jump and grab, and the trunk was too thick to shake.

Hungamon rolled her eyes, "Like this." She said and held up both her hands. With a grunt she unleashed her attack; but instead of the usual weak orange orb that Basic Digitalia usually had, a decent sized light green and white energy beam shot from her palms towards the berries. The attack was such a shock that Hungamon fell to the ground and the beam shot towards the tree.

It hit a branch and all the berries lodged on it fell to the ground easily. The Digitalia stared with wide eyes at what had just taken place until Itamon broke the silence, "Veeee~! That was so cool!" he squealed.

"I guess Oramon was right; because the Champions inside us have awakened, we have gotten stronger!" Japamon exclaimed.

"Let me try!" Amerimon said excitedly.

"Me too, me too!" Prussiamon exclaimed.

The two boys stood a little away from the tree. "Okay, here we go!"

Amerimon and Prussiamon held their palms towards the tree, ready to attack. Just like Hungamon, an energy beam shot from their palms only they were different colors. Amerimon's was red, white, and blue while Prussiamon's was black and white. The beams hit a few branches and more Maya berries came raining down for the Digitalia to collect.

"This is so much better than those puny energy balls!" Amerimon exclaimed, looking at his hands.

"I wish to try!" Japamon spoke up.

"Me too!" Itamon said.

"Same here!" Canamon piped up.

"So will I!" Belamon said with an actual excited smile on her face for once.

"Let's all do it together!" Hungamon said. The seven children excitedly lined up in front of the tree.

"Ready?" Prussiamon asked. They all nodded. "Digitalia, attack!"

Seven tiny palms shot out and faced the tree and seven beams of different colors shot out. Red and white came from Canamon, blue and white from Belamon. Red, white, and black came from Japamon, and red, white, and green came from Itamon. The four new beams shot alongside the other three and hit the tree at full force.

There was a loud boom that echoed throughout the forest. The Digitalia all stood frozen in position, eyes wide with shock as they were covered with black smoke and soot. A small crater stood where the tree once was, and a few seconds later tons of Maya berries came raining down from the sky.

The Digitalia broke into fits of laughter as they ran around collecting the falling berries to take back to camp with them. The seven children chattered happily as they walked back to where the nations were, their arms full of Maya berries.

"I just don't know what to think!"

Itamon froze at the sound of Romano's angry voice.

"Getting upset isn't going to help anything," Austria's voice rang out.

The Digitalia slowed to a stop as they heard the upset voices of their partners.

"I don't blame him for getting upset; I still don't know what to believe." Britain said.

The Digitalia snuck to the campsite and peeked to see the nations around the fire they had made. They all had distraught expressions on their faces and hadn't noticed the Digitalia nearby.

Germany clenched his fists, "It…it can't be them," he growled, "They're too similar, all of them."

Romano sat on the ground with his head in his hands, "What else is this damn place going to throw at us? Is it really trying to make me think that Itamon is really Feli?"

Itamon tensed at his name as well as the other one, "Feli…?" he mouthed.

China rubbed his temples, "Japamon and Kiku are almost exactly alike; I raised him long enough to know that."

"The same for Alfred and Amerimon," Britain said, "There so alike it's like…it's like my little colony is back with me…"

The Digitalia were now beyond confused. Why were the nations comparing them to their Advanced forms, and why weren't they saying the names right? It wasn't Feli, Alfred and Kiku, it was Felimon, Alfamon, and Kikumon!

"Oramon said that everything would become clear in the Digital Core," France started, "If that's true, how are we going to explain this to them?"

Everyone perked up at the question, but the Digitalia were done with all these confusing explanations. "Explain what to us?"

The nations turned to see the seven children standing away from them, still carrying their berries.

"How…how much of that did you hear?" Britain asked as the Digitalia put their berries into a pile.

"Um…Romano spoke first," Itamon answered, "He said he didn't know what to think?" Romano paled considerably as the now defiant children stared up at them.

"You guys have been acting weird ever since you got your memories back!" Amerimon accused, pointing at them, "What's going on?"

"What are you guys talking about West?" Prussiamon asked sharply.

Germany flinched at the use of his nickname, "Gilbert-"

"My name is Prussiamon!" The Digitalia snapped, "And my Advanced form's name is Gilbamon! Have you already forgotten that?" he demanded.

"France, why are you comparing us to other people?" Canamon asked with worried eyes, "Are you guys feeling okay?"

Britain stared at Amerimon and sighed, "We don't know what's going on," he said, catching all the children's attention. "We're just as confused as you, trust us."

"Our memories are very confusing at the moment, so hopefully the Digital Core will clear it up." Russia remarked.

"Don't worry about us mon ami, we're fine," France reassured the bear Digitalia with a pat on the head, "We just have a lot on our minds."

China picked up Japamon, "When we get to the Digital Core and find our answer, we'll try to explain everything." He said. The Digitalia were silent as they contemplated what they said before they all nodded.

"Okay, but I'm holding you to that; you better explain once we get there!" Amerimon said.

Itamon sighed in relief, "I'm glad nothing bad was happening!" He then went over to the pile of Maya berries and picked one up, "Now let's eat!"

The Digitalia and the nations tired their hardest to push all the questions lingering in their mind as they ate and fell asleep. The next morning, the group was on their way.

"We're almost there, I can feel it." Belamon commented.

"We better stay alert; there could still be some bad Digitalia around." Canamon warned.

Prussiamon waved his hand, "Pffft! With our new awesome powers, no Digitalia stands a chance!"

"That doesn't mean that we won't be hurt, are you that dense?" Hungamon demanded. Prussiamon was about to retort when the Digitalia all stopped suddenly.

"What is it?" Austria asked.

"We're here." Japamon answered.

They took a few more steps until they found themselves in front of the gaping mouth of a cave. Everyone shuddered as a wave of energy rippled from deep within. No one needed to say anything; they had arrived at their destination: the Digital Core.

Whoops! The cat's out of the bag! I hope I'm not confusing you guys too much with this, but it will all become clear in time!
