SO HERE'S CHAPTER 28. I just noticed that i keep calling my chapters Opposites, well just to be clear, Opposites was supposed to be the title of the story but i seem to have changed it, and i guess i forgot to change it to Chapter. Meh, hope you guys don't mind!

Jokes and all those other things

Normal POV

"Jeez you guys yell too loudly," complained Hitsugaya

"Marrying me? Are you serious?" loudly whispered Hinamori with a red face

"Well weren't you the one who said you wanted to grow old with me," teased Hitsugaya

"Yeah! B-b-but not now!" stammered Hinamori

"Yeah man! We're still in high-school! Stop acting like such an adult Hitsugaya!" yelled Ikkaku, who was not exactly sure how to take in the situation

"Who's getting married?" yawned Rukia as she walked into the living room

"Them," said Ishida and pointed at Hinamori and Hitsugaya

"Oh."

The silence filled the air until Rukia yelled out, "WHAT THE HELL? ARE YOU PREGNANT OR SOMETHING MOMO?!"

"NO I'M NOT!" shouted Hinamori blushing even more

"Calm down. I'm just kidding, I just wanted to make a point that Hinamori's mine, and Ikkaku, don't even think about making a move on here even if it's a joke," said Hitsugaya in an evil tone

Ikkaku went to the couch and sat in silence, with his back straight and sweat dripping down his forehead.

"To think that the Hitsugaya I know fell head over heels for a girl," laughed Renji

"Hitsugaya used to always play around with girls," said Yumichika, "Are you really fine with a guy like that Hinamori?"

That left Hinamori speechless, she stood there unable to say anything for awhile.

"It's true though. Hitsugaya was always the player of the group, not was, he might even still be a player. I don't blame him though. Maybe it was just luck that he fell for me, we just went to the beach and I was lucky enough to not have any other girls around me at that time. Did he really fall for me? It can't be all words right?" thought Hinamori and she thought about it long and hard, she was so deep in thought she forgot that someone was calling her name.

Her eyes snapped opened and was met with Hitsugaya's turquoise eyes.

"You alright? It was as if you left the world," said Hitsugaya

"I'm fine, I was just thinking," replied Hinamori and smiled. She looked behind him to see Yumichika still waiting for an answer, "Yumichika, it doesn't really matter right now does it?"

Yumichika gave her a small smile and shrugged, "Maybe so."

"I never got to know what was happening," sighed Chad and went back to the kitchen

"Hey guys." They all turned to look who just spoke and found Ichigo coming into the living room, "I don't think I'm going to school tomorrow. I just realized I haven't bought my notebooks, pens, and all that crap."

"Oh crap. Me too," said Renji

"Maybe we should all tell the school tomorrow that we won't be coming and will be coming the day after," suggested Yumichika, "I kind of wanna buy some new clothes as well."

"Then. We should tell Hisagi," said Rukia

"I overheard the conversation on my way to the bathroom, I agree with you guys. I'll tell the school through email right now," mumbled Hisagi and stretched his arms, "Is there anything to eat?"

Chad walked in with a new plate of food, "I just made this spaghetti. Feel free to eat some."

"Thanks man," thanked Hisagi and shoved his face into the food

"When did he turn so animalistic?" mumbled Yumichika and picked up another magazine

"Hey, Hinamori. Can you come out with me for a second," asked Hitsugaya and Hinamori gave him a nod. They both went outside to the balcony and stood there looking out at the landscape. The city was bright with lights and sparkled like stars in the sky.
"I didn't lie about marrying you," admitted Hitsugaya, "There are going to be much better guys than me out there, I don't want you running off with some other guy. Remember, you're mine, ever since the moment we hid in the bathroom."

Hinamori giggled and closed the distance between them, she leaned her head on his shoulder, linking her arms with his.

"I never took you as the possessive type," muttered Hinamori making Hitsugaya blush

"I'm just saying. Jeez."

"I wonder who in the world could be better than you. You're good-looking, smart, you can fight, you're nice, wonderful, athletic and you have all the money in the world," giggled Hinamori at the last part

"Well, I don't think I can lie about the money part," agreed Hitsugaya and turned his face to look at her, "Someday, I'll be the one putting a ring on that left hand."

"Someday, make sure you treat me nicely or else I might run off with some other amazing man," said Hinamori with a teasing grin

As they were about to close the distance between them, they heard a loud shuffle behind them. Hinamori whipped her head to find Ichigo, Rukia, Ikkaku and Renji peeking through the curtains. Before she knew it, Hitsugaya grabbed a small pebble, opened the door and threw it at Ichigo.

"KUROSAKI!" yelled Hitsugaya and stomped after him

"WHY AM I ALWAYS THE ONE GETTING BLAMED?!" shouted Ichigo and ran away

Hinamori couldn't stop laughing along with Rukia and Renji.

"Hey Momo, you're seriously thinking about marrying him?" asked Rukia wiping some tears of laughter from her eyes

"Maybe," answered Hinamori with a small wink

"So, when are you planning to tell him?" asked Renji out of the blue

"Don't bring such a depressing topic into this conversation," scolded Rukia

"No it's fine. I'm sure he already knows. Right now, I can't do anything about anything," said Hinamori and turned to look over the city, "All I can do is to live, and be with him as much as I can."

Rukia and Renji stopped bickering at each other and stared at Hinamori's back.

"It's okay to admit that you're scared Momo," said Rukia and walked towards Hinamori who had her back hunched

"At times like this, I wouldn't find it weird if you were scared," agreed Renji

"I'm fine!" assured Hinamori and turned around with a grin, "I just have so many things running around my head"

Hinamori smiled downwards and didn't let a single tear drop. At that moment she thought.

How can you possibly love someone who you know will die?

"Alright, well I'm going to bed," shrugged Renji and walked out not noticing anything weird AT ALL. (Boys...)

There was silence between Rukia and Hinamori. They said nothing but they both knew what they were thinking.

"Momo, what's bothering you so much?" asked Rukia

"I love him."

"I know that but—," before Rukia could even finish her sentence she was instantly cut

"But how can I possibly face him with a smiling face all the time," whispered Hinamori

She covered her face with both her hands, "I can't keep seeing him like this. I know it's so selfish for me to say this, but I want to live longer, I want to be with him. I want to live to see him smile and laugh. Rukia I don't know what to do."

Rukia stood there in shock, this was her first time to see her closest friend crying out to her. Hinamori crumbled to the ground shaking with over-flowing tears, not knowing what to do anymore.

That was when Rukia took action.

"You just found him, wouldn't it be a shame to just let him go? He's the only fish in the sea for you right?" comforted Rukia and knelt down next to Hinamori, "I'm scared as hell but if I cried in front of you right now, what good would that do? Smile Hinamori Momo, do what you do best and shine some warmth to the world."

Hinamori stopped shaking and turned her head to peer at her friend's warm smile. She couldn't help but smile a little and nod.

"Thank you Rukia."

"Wipe those tears before Hitsugaya sees, man he's going to bug me so much about it," complained Rukia

"It's times like this that I really love having you around," giggled Hinamori, finally able to find her laugh

"Well, that's what friends do. We're always there for each other. We should get ready to sleep soon, I have a feeling that we're gonna have a big day tomorrow."

"With two idiots living with us why am I not surprised?"

Rukia and Hinamori turned to the new voice that came into their conversation. There stood Matsumoto drying her hair with a towel and seemed to be fully recovered from her drunk incident with Hisagi. She changed into a pair of shorts and a plain black tanktop that hugged her waist.

"Man, I just overheard you both talk, what kind of losers are you?" yawned Matsumoto and disappeared for a minute then returned with a can of beer in her hand

"You're still gonna drink?" gaped Rukia

"Well, I'm kind of stressed here. Seriously, here are three hot girls who were 'ex' agents who only attended the special agents high-school and now moving to what we would all call a 'normal' high-school, which I bet is some elite private school," said Matsumoto and took a sip of her beer, "And knowing Ukitake, I also bet that he made sure we were put into the same class, I never really got why he was so into things called 'friendship' or 'love'."

Matsumoto meerily shrugged after her abnormally close observations. Hinamori and Rukia stared at her with their mouths opened, they've heard about Matsumoto's weird skill in observing/guessing things, but they've never really heard her use it in front of them. Matsumoto looked at their weird faces and rolled her eyes in annoyance.

"What? I can be serious when I want to," shrugged Matsumoto with a small smile

"I don't think I can recover from the shock," whispered Rukia. The one and only strawberry blonde girl immediately threw an empty beer can towards Rukia's head.

"Ow!" whined Rukia and rubbed her head

"Jeez! Take me seriously will you?"

"W-w-we do Rangiku!" stammered Hinamori and calmed down Matsumoto

"AND YOU! What was up with that idiotic talk about not knowing what to do, or being confused about what to do with Hitsugaya and all that crap?" yelled Matsumoto

"Uh well, you see I—"

"No buts!" shouted Matsumoto

"She didn't even say but," informed Rukia with a sigh

"Shut your mouth. Hinamori Momo, you are going to be a girl starting tomorrow, and you're going to live an everyday life full of love."

"I am a girl…"

"No. You haven't experienced the LOVE, the BOYS, the BEAUTY and every other things girls think about," said Matsumoto and nodded to herself

"I kind of already have Hitsugaya-kun so I think I'm alright," said Hinamori uneasily

"You must live your life Hinamori! He's not the world to you! Plus Hitsugaya's sucks, he's so boring and yet he has so many fan-girls. How does he even have the time to play around? That boy always disappoints me," sighed Matsumoto and brought her hand to her temple.

Matsumoto was instantly dragged by none other than Hitsugaya Toushiro who left trails of his never-ending rant, "JEEZ. What's up with you all?! Ichigo's being an idiot! You're half drunk AND yelling at Hinamori for no particular reason. Plus what was up with the 'he's so boring' part? Oi! Chad stop cooking! It's 10:00 pm for gods sake! AND IKKAKU CLEAN UP YOUR TRASH! Hisagi don't even think about grabbing the Vodka Ikkaku secretly bought! Where the hell is Ishida? That idiot left his glasses on his table!"

Just then you were able to hear Ishida from the shower yelling, "I'M BLIND! MY GLASSES!"

"Matsumoto go to bed! Renji, Ichigo, Ikkaku sit down and clean up! Yumichika do your freaking laundry by yourself! Hisagi and Chad out of the kitchen, now! Ishida your glasses are in the living room!" yelled Hitsugaya and Hinamori peered into the living room with Rukia to see Ichigo, Renji and Ikkaku cleaning up their trash. Chad, Hisagi and Matusmoto were slowly making their way back to their room, "Oi. Matsumoto, give me the bottle. Now."

She slowly handed the bottle of whiskey back to Hitsugaya who poured the whiskey out into the sink, which left Hisagi and Matsumoto into pieces.

"YOU EVIL LORD!" yelled Matsumoto and ran to her room

"He'd be a horrible king," whispered Ichigo to Renji

"No wonder he was called the ice prince, before he was crowned as the 'player'," agreed Renji

"He's staring," gulped Ikkaku and threw away his trash then evacuated into his room with a scream.

"I bet Matsumoto drank a lot more before she eavesdropped," mumbled Rukia

"Shiro-chan seems to be really frustrated," noticed Hinamori

"Hinamori… SHOWER. NOW!" yelled Hitsugaya noticing the two of them peeking, and he grabbed Hinamori, pushed her in the bathroom then slammed the door, but opened it again, "Sorry. Your clothes." Then closed the door.

Hinamori could only let out an uneasy laugh before she stepped into the shower.

Once she was out of the bathroom and walked into the living room, Ichigo and Renji were dead asleep on the couch.

"Those idiots sure sleep fast," yawned Hitsugaya from behind Hinamori who let out a small yelp

"Don't scare me like that!" pouted Hinamori and started to make her way to her room

"Hey wait, let me send you there," insisted Hitsugaya and grabbed her hand, he caught Hinamori by surprise and was instantly met by two confused brown eyes, "Uh, it's only in case you trip over… something."

She smiled and gripped his hand tightly, "You know if you want you can send me all the way to my bed."

"Do you know what you just said?" mumbled Hitsugaya with a smirk and turned her by her waist to face him, "I didn't know you wanted me that badly."

He pushed her towards the wall and pulled her arms up so they were against the wall. Her face instantly turned a bright shade of crimson and couldn't find her voice at all.

"I-I-I did-didn't mean it in tha-that way! I'M GOING BACK TO MY ROOM BY MYSELF!" defended Hinamori and pushed him away

As she tried to walk away, her leg caught on one of the chairs, before she knew it she was falling forward. This time, her prince charming stood there watching with a teasing smirk playing on his lips.

Her face hit the floor with a splat.

"See, I was trying to make a point that it would be best I send you to your room milady," teased Hitsugaya

Hinamori stole a look at Hitsugaya and all the pain was washed away when she saw him grin. The only thing she could do was smile, as long as she could see him like this nothing in the world would matter.

"I love you," mumbled Hinamori as she got up and brushed the dust off her front shirt.
That caught Hitsugaya off guard and his face became a bit pink.

"What are you saying?" said Hitsugaya and avoided eye-contact

"Did you want me to say it again? In front of the two idiots who are pretending to be asleep?" teased Hinamori and shot Renji a look of evil. He got up and ran off along with Ichigo.

"Those bastards!" yelled Hitsugaya in frustration

"Now that they're gone. I can say it properly," giggled Hinamori, she flung her arms around Hitsugaya's neck and brought his ear close to her lips, "I love you."

Hitsugaya could only smile and bring her closer to him, "Then let me send you to your room."

"I actually think I'd like that," said Hinamori and gave him a small kiss on the lips

DONEE. So Chapter 29 is up as well so yay!
I hope you guys are enjoying the story so far, i know it's sooo different from the beginning but hey, things change.
