HEY PEEPS! So this chapter's kind of about their first morning as 'normal' high-schoolers, and it's just an introduction before some complicated stuff come up. This time i won't make the drama TOO complicated.

An everyday morning

Normal POV

"Man it feels good to wake up and now you won't be killing anyone," yawned Ichigo as he walked into the kitchen.

"Stop talking to yourself idiot."

Ichigo looked up and noticed Ikkaku drinking a bottle of water from the fridge. He wore his red jogging pants and a plain white shirt.

"You're up early," mumbled Ichigo and grabbed a carton of milk from the fridge.

"Went running. No one's awake yet," informed Ikkaku and went out of the kitchen to sit in the dining room. He put his bottle of water on the table and leaned back as he released a long sigh.

"What's wrong with you?" asked Ichigo and sat in front of Ikkaku with his glass of milk

"Just thinking. It's hard to get used to all this. Waking up to such a peaceful morning feels so different," admitted Ikkaku

"Well, we can't do anything about it. All I know is that I'm actually quite glad that all the fighting's over," said Ichigo

"But is it really? We've got an endless amount of enemies in the world, what if they come after us?" worried Ikkaku

"Ah. That's true, I didn't tell anyone else but I kind of brought all my guns and knives with me."

"Me too…"

Silence filled the air as they both sat in silence.

"We never really talked this much did we?"

"No. But there's always a first to everything."

Ikkaku gave in to a small smile and grabbed his bottle of water, "I'm going to go take a shower. It's our first normal day out as high-schoolers after all."

Ichigo chuckled and gave a small nod to him.

Hinamori twisted and turned in her bed. Her eyes snapped open and she slowly sat up. A bit of sunlight shined down on her bed from the small gap her curtain gave.

"I'm kind of thirsty."

She went to the bathroom, showered, brushed her teeth, combed her hair and changed into a pair of jogging shorts and a tanktop.

As she got out of the bathroom she was met with Ikkaku holding a bottle of water.

"Morning," she yawned and walked past him with a small wave, Ikkaku just nodded at her before entering the bathroom.

She noticed a certain orange-haired boy sitting at the dining table with a worried look plastered on his face.

"Maybe he's having some girl problems," she thought and decided that it was best to listen to his 'problems'

Ichigo didn't notice the brown-eyed girl taking a seat in front of him and when he did he just stared.

"So. What's the problem Kurosaki-kun?" asked Hinamori with a small smile

"Problem?"

"Your face looked really worried," pointed out Hinamori and made the face he made just a second ago

"Ah, it's really nothing to be worried about. But what if Aizen comes after us again?" freaked out Ichigo and started rambling on about his revenge on us and all that stuff

"Hey, don't sweat it, when that happens we'll get through it together," assured Hinamori and got up. She gave him a small pat before leaving, "Get yourself together, you gotta be a proper man for Orihime-chan!"

All he could do was smile and nod at her as she walked into the kitchen for a glass of water and maybe some breakfast.

"What the hell?" mumbled Hisagi as he woke up in his bed, "Why the hell was Ichigo and Renji dressed up as a carrot and tomato in my dream…"

He got out of bed, walked to his own bathroom, took a shower, did the usual guy stuff. Once he was out of the shower he threw on some basketball shorts and a shirt. The sun was shining through his window and he could hear the morning birds starting to chirp in the trees.

Hisagi walked out of his bedroom to find Ikkaku and Hinamori saying good morning to each other.

"Why are they up so early?" mumbled Hisagi and was about to go up to them when he realized he forgot to do the laundry, "Dammit, why did Rangiku have to make me drunk yesterday… Even when I became sober she just comes into my room with cans of beer."

Hisagi walked back into his room, grabbed his clothes and walked towards the laundry room.

Hitsugaya Toushiro was never a deep sleeper, the moment he heard some footsteps near the corridor, he opened the window to find Hisagi walking with a bunch of clothes and mumbling to himself about Matsumoto's drinking problem.

"Awake already? It's still like 6:30," mumbled Hitsugaya when he checked his clock, "I might as well wake up too."

He too did the usual routine of taking a shower, changing into a pair of jeans and a casual shirt, spraying some cologne and walking out of his room. Then made his way to the dining room, where he was met with Ichigo.

"If you're looking for Momo she's in the kitchen," pointed Ichigo

"Nah, I'm not looking for her, and I doubt she'd want me to babysit her," said Hitsugaya and the moment he took a seat he heard the sound of glass breaking in the kitchen, "Or maybe I should check up on her."

The two boys both chuckled and Hitsugaya got up to meet his so-called lover.

Yumichika woke up early enough to fix his hair and to his surprise, it was 'perfect' that day, "I've got a feeling today's a wonderful day!"

He was too busy choosing what to wear that he didn't hear the sound of glass breaking in the kitchen, or the small rant from Hisagi, or Ikkaku and Hinamori's short conversation.

But that was when he knew that he left his scarf in the laundry basket, "Aw, now I have to go get it."

With the only amount of effort he had, he dragged himself all the way to the laundry room.

"Geez why is everyone so loud?" yawned Renji and washed his face, brushed his teeth then went out of his room. He made his way towards the living room where he turned on the TV and grabbed an already made sandwich from the minibar, "Damn, Chad must really like cooking food."

He munched on it as he tried to find some interesting TV shows that usually come up in the morning.

"I wonder what everyone else is up to," he mumbled to himself and made himself comfortable on the couch

"SHIT," yelled out Rangiku and jumped out of her bed in an instant. She rushed into her bathroom and straightened out her curls then washed her face, as soon as she finished that she went straight to the shower. Once she was out, she applied her usual make-up and grabbed a pair of shorts and shirt.

She opened her door in such a rush she didn't notice someone walking towards her and the door smacked the stranger right in the face.

"WHAT THE HELL?!" yelled the person on the floor holding on to his or her face

"Whoops, sorry Yumichika, hope I didn't mess up your hair," laughed Rangiku and ran off with a small wave

"Damn bitch! Just cause she got big boobs!"

Rukia woke up to the sound of Yumichika's shout towards someone.

"What? I'm pretty sure I heard Yumichika shout out damn bitch to someone," mumbled Rukia and trudged out of bed. She opened the door to hear noises from the living room. Without giving a thought about who it may be, she closed her door and made her way to her bathroom.

After 30 minutes of getting ready, Rukia was done and out of her room, then made her way towards the kitchen, and passed by Renji on the way.

"Let's get some food midget," teased Renji and rested his arm on her head

"Stop calling me midget you tomato!" defended Rukia and pushed his arm away, then stomped away from him

"Ouch," said Renji looking hurt but still ended up following her

"I smell food," whispered Orihime to herself

She was up and ready, she finished showering, changing and putting on a light layer of make-up.
Then she dashed towards the kitchen, and to her surprise, she saw that mostly everyone was awake and hanging around the dining table. As she stood there a bit shocked, more people flooded in (Chad, Ikkaku, Hisagi, Yumichika, and Matsumoto)

She giggled as she listened to everyone's conversations.

"Stop saying things about my height!" yelled Rukia at Renji and let out an angry huff but Renji couldn't stop laughing. She took a seat next to a worried Ichigo (yes, he's still worried) and glared at Renji.

"Woah there, why'd you bother sitting, you're shorter now than ever," laughed Renji and a chair was immediately thrown at his face, "Crap."

If she listened even more she could hear an argument from the kitchen between Hinamori and Hitsugaya.

"I can take care of myself!" shouted Hinamori

"Please, if you could you wouldn't have tried to pick up the pieces of glass with your hand," sighed Hitsugaya

"I don't need a babysitter!" yelled Hinamori

"Just let me help you," chuckled Hitsugaya

Then Orihime heard stomping behind her and turned around to see a furious Ishida.

"I'm trying to read this book and all I hear is talking, yelling, glass breaking, and the TV being on, can you guys PLEASE shut up!" shouted Ishida and received blank faces from all of them

"What'd ya say?" threatened Ikkaku coming right up at his face

"I SAID—," but before Ishida could repeat what he wanted to say he was interrupted

"HI GUYSS! I'm back!" yelled Matsumoto from the entrance, and she rushed into the dining table holding a big cardboard box, "These are from the office, Ukitake told me to take it before we left but I got drunk so I drove to the office to get them."

"What is it?" asked Rukia and walked over to the box

"It's our uniforms!" shouted Matsumoto full of energy

"But we already have our uniforms," said Hisagi

"Tsk tsk tsk, do you guys realize that we're in a different class? That means we get special uniforms," informed Matsumoto and opened up the box, "I asked my uncle's company to get those uniforms and they were able to make it. So here it is!"

The room became silent for a second as they stared at the uniforms.

"I have no comment," said Hisagi at last and sighed, "I didn't have to go through all that trouble to get those uniforms."

"Isn't the skirt a little too short?" noticed Hinamori

"Short is the new sexy," giggled Matsumoto with an evil glint in her eye

"Hisagi, be sure to throw away the old uniforms," ordered Matsumoto, "I don't want to be seen in those hideous things."

"Yes ma'am," yawned Hisagi and took a seat at the dining table, "For now let's just eat."

And that was the beginning of what they call 'High School Life'

SO FAR I ONLY FINISHED UP TILL CHAPTER 29! I'm going to update as soon as i can! but when i don't, rest assured, i'm probably writing up a lot of chapters but i just don't put in the effort to post it. I'm a very... verrryy. lazy person.
