Well this is it guys. Dundundunnnn! I love you and here's the final chapter! THE FINAL FRIGGIN CHAPTER OMIGOD!

Chapter 33

In five years time

The hot summer, unchanging from the bittersweet love that lasted so short, once again brought together the group in random settings. It's been five years since they were separated, five years of struggles, tired all nighters, tears, and most of all pure heartbreak.

A girl walked around the streets of Tokyo, finally breathing in the smell of Japan, "I'm finally home."

Although her chocolate brown eyes looked at the path ahead of her, she couldn't help looking through the crowd for a boy with white hair, and her favorite green teal eyes, "Stupid Momo."

She could still hear his voice ringing through her ears like a broken melody, playing over and over again. Her heart beat hard, but unheard to the others around her. When her model legs could take her no more than a few metres, she looked into the window of a starbucks coffee shop to find someone oddly familiar.

"Rukia?" she mumbled and that was when chocolate brown eyes met violet.

Rukia Kuchiki, now the new heir of Kuchiki enterprises ran out of Starbucks with her coffee in her hand, "Hinamori Momo! This is too surreal, wait am I dreaming?"

Hinamori just gaped at her friend, "I can't even believe this!"

Without another word they both hugged desperate in believing that this was not a dream. They let each other go with a huge laugh, "Wow Rukia, look at you! You're all adult like with your suit and all!"

"Look who's talking! Did you grow taller? I saw you on the latest Gucci commercial, I'm so proud of you!" squealed Rukia and hugged her again, "I didn't know you were going to be back!"

"Yeah, I didn't know as well but I'm back!" giggled Hinamori, "So what are you doing now?"

"Well I need to go to a meeting, but here's my number so just call me and we can hang out," assured Rukia and handed her a piece of paper, "Also, I think you'd want to tune in on the news today. You'll see someone expected on TV."

With that, she said goodbye to Hinamori and the chocolate brown eyed model looked at the screen in Starbucks. Matsumoto's face appears on the TV with the header saying, "Engaged to Nathan Haynes, one of world's biggest bachelors!"

"Damn Rangiku," laughed Hinamori and smiled, "But you're finally happy."

She continued walking through the streets of Tokyo, finding interesting places that have been newly built.

There was a shiny new skyscraper that Hinamori stood in front of, simply appalled with the structure, and as if on cue, she heard a loud voice she knew too well.

"Don't get started with me Kurosaki!"

"Shut up four-eyed! We have to work together for this alright?"

Hinamori turned around to meet two pairs of surprised eyes staring at her, "Hinamori-san?"

There was a pause, "OH MY GOD KUROSAKI-KUN? ISHIDA-KUN?"

The three of them looked at each other bursting into fits of laughter. Ichigo and Ishida both wore their doctor coats, and Ichigo even had a stethoscope hanging from his neck.

"Wow, you guys are so doctor like!" exclaimed Hinamori

"Thanks! We're actually on break, want to grab some lunch with us?" asked Ishida with a smile

"That'd be great!" nodded Hinamori following the two doctors, "Meeting three of my friends in one day? Fate's being a bit nice"

The three friends decided on a small quaint café on the side of the road. It was Ichigo who cleared his throat first, "So Hinamori, we saw you all over the billboards!"

"It's quite embarrassing to be honest," sighed Hinamori

"What's going on with the, you know, heart and all?" asked Ishida concerned

"Oh, well, I haven't keeping contact so I'm sure you guys didn't get to know. I actually got a heart implant recently!" exclaimed Hinamori

"That's amazing! I'm so glad," nodded Ichigo and patted her head, "That's actually great news."

"What about you? Have you seen anyone else?" asked Hinamori
"Well here and there. I bumped into Ikkaku, and Chad recently. Ikkaku's doing fine with the business, Chad's training for the world boxing championships and that's as far as I know," shrugged Ichigo and looked over at Ishida, "Oh yeah didn't you tell me you saw Hisagi the other day?"

"Yeah, but I didn't talk to him. He was busy with something, I don't know what he's doing but he looked pretty healthy so I'm sure he's alright," shrugged Ishida

"So Kurosaki-kun, have you been keeping contact with Orihime?" asked Hinamori curiously, "I mean you guys were dating."

"After that day I haven't seen her," mumbled Ichigo sadly and looked to the streets, "She's probably alright, but god dammit, I want to see her."

Hinamori smiled sadly, sympathizing him, "I'm sure she feels the same."

"What about you and Toushiro?" asked Ichigo looking at Hinamori

Hinamori shrugged casually, "I don't know. I haven't seen him, I've only seen him on the news and he doesn't seem like the play boy I used to know."

"Actually, I've been meaning to tell you this," coughed Ishida, "I also saw Hitsugaya."

Ichigo looked at Ishida and nudged him, "Didn't we agree to keep quiet about it?"

"Guys, come on, I'm not that dramatic anymore," laughed Hinamori

Ichigo sighed and looked at Hinamori, "Hitsugaya's been dating this girl for like a year already, and we passed by him in the hospital the other day with his girlfriend."

Hinamori could feel a small hope within her shatter but she smiled, "Well I'm happy for him."

"You're really okay with it?" asked Ishida

"Of course, but I won't be okay when he doesn't invite me to his wedding!" laughed Hinamori

Suddenly something started beeping, "Oh shit Ishida, we gotta go!"

Both boys waved a small bye at Hinamori, quickly exchanging numbers and left to the hospital.

"Hitsugaya Toushiro has a girlfriend. Huh, that's funny," giggled Hinamori and looked at the sky, "I wonder what he's doing."

A white haired business man walked into the building checking his recent message from Ichigo that stated, "Dude Hinamori's back and don't be mad, I told her about Karin."

His heart dropped, "She's back. She's really back."

He kept walking with his girlfriend, Karin, next to him, "So Hitsugaya-kun, when will you be off duty?"

"In about an hour," shrugged Hitsugaya and looked at his girlfriend, "Why?"

"Because I'm going to give you the best night ever," she purred into his ear, "Come home soon okay Shiro-chan?"

His heart stopped and he stopped walking, he turned to face her, "Why'd you just call me that?"

"Y-your mom said that someone used to call you that or something," she said and slowly backed away, "Why do you look so mad?"

"Don't ever call me that," he mumbled and glared at her, "Don't you ever call me that."

"Geez, you could've just said you hated it," she sighed and let go of his hand, "Anyways I'll see you late—"

"Sorry, I can't," sighed Hitsugaya and rubbed his temples then looked at her, "I really can't do this Karin."

"Um, what's wrong with you all of a sudden?" sighed Karin and tried to touch him but he simply shook her off

"I can't do this, I can't do this with you anymore," admitted Hitsugaya, "No more."
There was a pause and she sighed, "You could never forget about her could you?"

He couldn't answer and gripped his phone tightly trying to form words in his mind.

"It's fine really Hitsugaya," bitterly said Karin, "She's back isn't she? I bet it was my brother who told you, he's such a blabber mouth."

"Have you, um, seen her?" Hitsugaya asked hesitantly

"I did," answered Karin, "But I didn't want to tell you because I knew this would happen."

"Where is she?"

Karin didn't answer and stood there staring at the ground as the tears started to overtake her vision.

"Karin please," pleaded Hitsugaya and engulfed her in a hug, "It was a great year with you, and I'm sorry things had to turn out like this, but I need her."

Karin bitterly laughed, "The Hitsugaya Toushiro admitting that he needs someone."

After a soft silence she whispered, "She's sitting in the café near Tokyo Hospital."

"Thank you."

With that Hitsugaya sped off into the hot summer weather chasing down something that he never admitted he wanted five years ago.

Hinamori decided to finally get up from her seat and maybe drop by her mom's place then book her ticket back to London, maybe even meet Matsumoto and Yumichika there.
"Momo."

She stood there, motionless. It was a voice she knew too well, the deep sultry was still there and as she stood there with her back towards him, her eyes started to betray the happiness she held towards him finding love.

"Don't cry Momo, don't cry," she regained her composer and turned around to see the teal eyes she loved so much. His hair was much different now, more mature, his spiky hair was les extravagant, he grew taller and boy was he a handsome looking man, "Shi—Uhm, I meant Hitsugaya-kun."

He looked at her as if she was the only thing that matter. Her chocolate brown eyes were the same but it had a glint of sadness and pain, her hair was much shorter now, and did she grow taller?

"So I heard you're with someone now?" smiled Hinamori

"Was."

There was a brief pause and she blinked her eyes, "Was?"

"Broke up just a few minutes ago," shrugged Hitsugaya

"What? Why?"

"Well I found something else," stated Hitsugaya abruptly

"Wow you haven't actually changed at all, you can't leave a girl just like that you know!" scolded Hinamori feeling sorry for the girl

"You walked out on me," said Hitsugaya immediately regretting it as he saw the look of guilt that rushed on her face, "Sorry, I didn't mean that."

"You're right," said Hinamori with a lazy smile, "I did walk out on you so you have every right to yell at me."

"Okay," nodded Hitsugaya and took a deep breath, "What would you do if you weren't afraid in the first place?"

"What?"

"If I had called you back before you left, and asked you to leave with me, would you have done that?" asked Hitsugaya

"Honestly, no," said Hinamori honestly

"What about now?"

Chocolate clashed with teal and he smiled, "Would you drop everything and come to me right now?"

Tears welled in her eyes, and without a second thought she ran straight into his arms. She fit perfectly, "It's the same smell, the same arms, the same person that I fell in love with five years ago."

"Geez this reunion took us five years, that's way too long," complained Hitsugaya and he squeezed her closer, "Stop crying."

"I can't," sobbed Hinamori into his shirt, "I can't, I've missed you."

"Well I'm flattered that you missed me but, it would be a lie if I said that I didn't miss that idiot face of yours," smiled Hitsugaya and let go lifting her chin up, "Stay with me?"

She kissed him as her response and he gladly kissed back, "God she's so beautiful."

"So Hinamori," he said as he let go, "Do you love me or not this time?"

"Love," smiled Hinamori, "Definitely love."

"That's actually really reassuring," chuckled Hitsugaya, "yeah this is really good, I was getting worried because you had that whole Gucci commercial going and it took all my energy to not fly all the way to the states to grab you and bring you back."

"I actually took that in Japan," admitted Hinamori biting her cheeks, "Sorry, I just couldn't face you."

Hitsugaya stopped and stared at her, "Seriously?"

"Well you had a girlfriend anyway!"

"You should know that I'd choose you out of every other girl in the world, I would even marry you if they gave me a choice between you and Grace Kelly."

Silence hung on the air, "Marry?"

"Well yeah, obviously in the future. I'm going to be the big bad boss of Hitsugaya Corps, with the prettiest woman in the world and we're going to have cute little Hitsugaya babies," casually informed Hitsugaya with his arms crossed, "Don't worry, I got this planned."

"You're so futuristic, what makes you say we'll be together?" scoffed Hinamori

"Um, you literally just leapt into my arms with tears just a few minutes ago. I know so," chuckled Hitsugaya making Hinamori blush making him kiss her, "Plus, I would actually lock you up so that you won't escape."

"Wow, who are you? Christian Grey?"

"They say I'm similar," boasted Hitsugaya

"You've actually never read 50 shades of grey have you?"

"No, but it's about some dude falling in love with some girl right?" shrugged Hitsugaya, "I think I got the basics down."

"You are so wrong," sighed Hinamori

"Come on, let's go back to my apartment. I have the nicest view ever," said Hitsugaya with a smile and then saw a flash in front of his eyes, "What the hell?"

The man with the camera ran away before he was caught and heard Hinamori sigh, "God, we're going to make the front pages."

"Hey isn't that great? Now the men will know that you're mine," laughed Hitsugaya

"Hey," started Hinamori getting Hitsugaya's attention, "my turn to ask. Love or not this time?"

As the cicadas blared in the distance and the sun ray's playing with Hinamori's hair, he could only think of one answer, one word, with four letters, two vowels and one syllable.

"Love," nodded Hitsugaya with a smirk, "This time, it's definitely love."

Not quite the end right? HAHAH THERE'S AN EPILOGUE. I had so much fun writing up until here, and with the next epilogue, this story will finally be completed forever. Thank you for keeping up with my random hiatuses and annoying excuses! Love you all to the very end.
