Chapter 7
Last on chapter 6:
"I have some very interesting news for you. The diagnose was clear, and... well... we found some very heartening or disheartening news."
I kissed him softly, and teased him a little first.
"Stop it, Grace. Stop hurting Austin." Ally appeared.
Ally's POV: I'm dying soon, I'm too weak. "Untie him and wake him now." I held back my tears. "Okay Ally." (A/N: sorry. I've been busy with hw) Grace untied him and woke him up with a gentle slap.
"What?" Austin murmured. "Ally! I promise I love you, not Grace." I eyed her and I went back to Austin. "Well, that depends. How much do you love me?" I asked him, curiously. I knew that I was slowly dying. Grace scoffed softly.
"I would go to the edges of the Earth for you, Ally." I went to him, closer and closer. Our faces were almost touching. "How much do you care about me, Austin?" I questioned him. "I don't know," I was disappointed. "You cheated on me..." I spoke. "But listen, Ally. I do know that I would do anything for you. I care about you a lot." he decided.
"Would you miss me if I were to be gone?" wow, it's like I'm playing 20 questions with him. "Yeah, a lot." he spoke. "I gotta go." I turned around. I opened the door and I left to the hospital. "Good afternoon, Ms. Dawson," the surgical department doctor told me.
"Are you ready for your induced surgery?" I nodded slightly. "Very well. Step into the surgery room on the second floor, third room to your right. I will be guiding you through your surgery." I went upstairs, third room. "Hi, I'm nurse Khan. I will give you some medication pills and hopefully you'll sleep soundly through your surgery." I laid down on the mattress.
_MEANWHILE WITH AUSTIN AND GRACE_
Grace's POV: "I'm pregnant... Will you still want me?" I asked.
"More than ever." Austin said. "But you said you loved Ally." I clarified. "Who said I can't love both?" he smirked.
"But-" I gasped as he pulled me in a forced kiss.
Ally's POV:
"Do you mind taking off your jacket? It'll interfere with the surgery." he asked. "Hello Ally. Are you ready for your surgery?" the doctor entered the room, taking off his coat. "I'm not sure." I giggled nervously. "Don't worry, I'm a professional. You'll be on drugs." he put on latex-gloves that fit his hands. "Lay down, Ms. Dawson." the nurse said. The nurse got out two big pills and made me swallow them.
The pills tasted so nasty, so bland. I fell asleep before long. After an hour, or I thought it was one hour, the doctor woke me up.
"Ms. Dawson, wake up. You're done with your surgery." he shook me up.
"What time is it?" I yawned. The doctor handed me my jacket. "Time for you to leave, Ms. Dawson. The surgery didn't work, you still have tuberculosis. You have approximately one week to live. I'm sorry, I did the best I could." he told me, heading out the surgery room with me.
"Oh, that's not your fault. Thanks for trying, Dr. Mason. I expected I would have a limited time to live." I told him. "Well, I'd try to live my life as if nothing were wrong. You know what the kids say nowadays, 'Yolo.'" I laughed. "Well, I'll try. Thanks for trying, doctor." I left the hospital.
With seven days to live, I've decided to make a bucket list of things I would like to do before my time is up. I mean, you might as well live your life to the fullest, right?
- Kiss Austin one last time.
- Do my will.
- See Austin and Grace get married.
- See Grace happy.
- See all my friends one last time.
- Eat all my favorite foods and snacks.
- DON'T DIE! I DON'T WANNA GO!
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" I yelled.
Summary: This is sure saddening news, Ally dying? Whoever heard of a good story ending? I have! I have it all planned out. It's gonna be in the hospital. SPOILER ALERT. Haha, no. But yeah.
Preview of chapter 8:
My will is almost finished! It's only Tuesday too!
"Just go away."
"I don't want you to see me like this! Just go the heck away and don't bother me! I don't wanna hurt anyone! PLEASE GO AWAY!"
