His idea of maybe getting to hold the hunter in his arms once more might actually have a chance... Because as the pureblood stepped his way through the doors and began to walk over to where he knew that he had left the hunter, expecting him to still be there, he would find that... well, he was right. Though he would be happy to know that Zero had somehow managed to drag himself back up onto the couch...
Though he was also napping as he laid on the couch, his breathing soft as he rested in the warmth of the couch, the blanket that had been thrown over the back of the couch now tucked around his body. At least he had managed to find a more comfortable position as he rested on the comfortable couch, resting his head onto one of the small decorative pillows.
He seemed to be strangely peaceful on the bed as he napped, his arms tucked securely around the large swell of his stomach. He wanted to just enjoy having a nap without their girl waking him up with a hard kick... Though as if noticing that her father had finally come home, it was exactly what Zero received. A kick right into his stomach was enough to make him wince back awake, tensing on the couch as he tried to rub his stomach... Though at least he hasn't noticed Kaname yet...
By the time Zero had awoken, the pureblood had situated himself on the floor to look through paperwork once again. Although he had finished with work, the issue at hand about the blood tablets still needed sorting. Though that's not to say that he hadn't acknowledged the silverette on the couch. When he had first come into the house Kaname had walked over and have the male a soft kiss to the head, running his fingers through the soft locks. It was something he often did, loving the feel of the males hair between his fingertips.
When the hunter woke, it seemed as though Kaname hadn't noticed, too caught up in his work at hand. If he finished this soon then perhaps he wouldn't need to go to work as often as truly needed. He didn't wish to leave Zeros side, not when he was so close to the end of his pregnancy.
Blurry eyes slowly peered down in front of him, hearing the rustle of papers as the pureblood started to run through each paper. He had no clue what the heck the pureblood was doing... But if he was trying to make a mess, he was doing more than well at that. Grunting softly, the hunter was slow to pull himself up to a sitting position, the couch audibly creaking with his weight shifting.
Trying to not wince at another well-placed kick, he rested his hand down against the bottom of his stomach and tried to blink away his sleep. "...You're back..." he murmured softly, trying to rub away the blurriness from his eyes as he rubbed them. Leaning back against the couch, he couldn't help but feel his deep tiredness. If only he had been able to sleep for a few more hours...
Yawning softly, his amethyst eyes soon fluttered closed as he tucked his arm around his stomach, as if about to go back to sleep. It seemed like his mood had gotten better since he was now able to get himself back into the couch... Though maybe that would have to be something they would have to work on practicing, to be able to get Zero out of chairs or off the floor while Kaname was gone.
Glancing back at the silverette as he started to speak, Kaname put down the papers he had been reading through and glanced back, a smile upon his face. "I got out early. I bought you some things and then came straight home. Though if I knew you were sleeping I would have taken my time, i'm sorry"
It could have been his presence that woke the male after all, something that he would feel terribly guilty about. Of course he could always make it up to him later, in fact the food would help with that a lot. "Can I get you anything to eat or drink? Ah I also see you made it to the couch, I will help you find an easier solution to that later if you wish.."
Sitting himself up from the floor and forgetting about his briefcase, Kaname took a seat beside the silverette. Although he wasn't sure on the others mood completely just yet, it didn't stop him from placing a palm on his thigh.
When was Kaname not thinking about sex or touching Zero... The crimson blush against his face soon made itself known as he shifted a little beneath his touch, thinking about shifting away but trying his best not to do so. He didn't want Kaname to be upset... Grumbling softly and looking away to try to hide the blush, he crossed his arms over the top of his stomach in a huff.
"She woke me up... And I already got a drink when I got up, then she kicked and I had to piss again..." Zero growled a little bit as he let his hand rub against the top of the swell. Then of course she decided to headbutt him into his swollen stomach again, making him wince at the visible movement. She was getting upset at him more and more...
"Fuck you..." he growled softly to her, though almost instantly regretted it. Rubbing a little deeper in an attempt to make sure that she wouldn't kick again, he let his head drop back against the back of the couch, trying to make sure that she would settle down... "She needs to settle the fuck down before I take a fucking knife and take her out my fucking self..."
"Perhaps she is acting this way because her mother is continuously swearing? Or perhaps it's the fact she can feel the stress you are. Either way, allow me to try and sooth her for you" From there the pureblood moved his hands from the others lap and moved it towards his stomach. Next he began to rub soft soothing patterns into his stomach, as if trying to calm their little girl as best he could. Kaname wasn't sure wether she could feel his presence at all or if she knew it was him massaging her, but it was worth a shot to him, something he hoped helped the silverette slightly.
Kaname also wouldn't have minded if he felt their child kick once or twice. It wasn't often that he was allowed to touch the males stomach so it was nice when their child gave him a kick to tell him she was alive and well.
Even if he didn't mind if she kicked, the hunter sure as hell did... Wincing as he felt the hard kick that pressed against Kaname's palm as soon as he started the massage. Slowly he tried to nudge his hand where Kaname was trying to massage into his belly, wanting to do it himself to make sure that he wasn't hitting the baby and hurting her... But soon he felt the stirring stop inside him.
It instead turned into soft shifts, gentle bumps against Kaname's hand as if she was... Enjoying it. Zero had been doing the same exact thing and she had started kicking him! "...fuck. My own baby wants you more than me," Zero growled softly to himself, crossing his arms back over the top of the large swell. This just was a load of crap. How could she really pick her father's touch rather than her own mother's, the one that had been lugging her and the extra weight around for the last seven, almost eight months.
Swearing softly under his breath, he sulked slightly as he allowed Kaname to continue, though he wished he could protest a little more about it. This was complete and utter shit, after all. She should be kicking him away... Instead she delicately was shifting herself to stay closer to his hands, sometimes pressing her hands or feet against the walls of the womb as if she wished to be held by him.
Kaname had been enjoying their daughters reaction, liking the fact that she enjoyed having him near her, to want his touch.. "Well.. someone had to miss me." Looking up towards the silverette with a smile though a slightly sad one, Kaname eventually shifted his gaze back down to the large stomach. Maybe it was best to talk to their daughter while the hunter stayed aggravated. "Hey there sweetheart.. Daddy missed you and Mummy today. I bought some things home that you both might like, though I would appreciate it if you would nap for your mummy, he's tired."
And as though remembering one of the bags he had left with him in the lounge, Kaname picked up a bag and pulled out a box of chocolates filled with caramel, ones that he hoped Zero would enjoy. So it was then that he handed it to him. "Here, I thought you would like a snack"
As if protesting the last sentence of his soft murmur to her, a foot kicked against one of his lower hands, as if telling him that she refused. She had already napped long enough for Zero to sleep for an hour... Wasn't that enough? Though as she squirmed her way around inside him a little uncomfortably, the hunter that Kaname looked to was frowning at his words.
"...I missed you. But whatever." Zero grunted softly, though was still a little stung by his words. He had even told Kaname that he wanted him to come home... Though in saying that he just needed help off the floor wasn't the best idea, the hunter couldn't really give out another option. More because he had yet to allow himself to feel such an option yet than that he didn't have it at all...
Quietly, though, the hunter touched the box and silently rested them down onto the top of his swollen belly, where it balanced itself rather easily. He was big enough to use his stomach as a table... Zero wasn't sure if he should be happy that he had something useful for his stomach or disgusted that he was this size at all. It seemed to be a tie... For now.
The smile that cracked over his face was probably far larger than what it should have been, but then again it was something he had been extremely pleased in hearing. "I missed you too, a lot." Placing the bag back down onto the floor as the chocolates were taken, Kaname shifted into a more comfortable position.
"I have other food for you too, something for us to eat for dinner, I also bought you some mousse. It's one of my favourite dishes from a restaurant I often go to. I'll cut up strawberries to have with it if you like" Speaking softly as he looked over towards the silverette, not knowing if he would even want such things, the pureblood shifted almost nervously on the couch. He didn't know how to act right now, this was the first time he had been away all day and it had been slightly awkward trying to pick up from where they left off.
It was strange not having Kaname with him the entire day but it was better than nothing... Trying not to wince as he felt another soft thud against his stomach, obviously missing Kaname's touch a bit, he let out a soft sigh. Of course Kaname missed him... Though he was almost sure that he misses the baby more. But that wasn't something that Zero had ever doubted for a second, that the baby was more worthy of his compassion than him.
"I don't even know what the hell mousse is... Why do you think ill automatically like everything that you'll give me? I don't like your kinds of foods, I thought we went through this!" And here came another undeserved rant... Though as he continued to growl off words that probably had nothing to do with the conflict, he suddenly cut off with a sharp "Oof!" Now what the heck had their baby done...
But judging as how the chocolates seemed to almost lift off of Zero's stomach before falling down towards the floor, it was obvious that their girl was tired of his constant ranting. Though Zero didn't want the chocolates to be wasted... Paling a little at the sight, the hunter attempted to stretch his arm out to try to grab the box before it fell...
All through that rant Kaname felt his heart sink, it seemed that each and every time that he attempted to do something for the hunter he got in trouble over it. Mousse wasn't his type of food regardless, it had been something Kaien had made him try which he thoroughly enjoyed and requested the restaurant to make it for him, it was more commoners food.
Not that it mattered to Zero..
But before he nodded and agreed to whatever the hunter had to say, Kaname caught the sight of the box flying into the air. His body reacted at the same time as Zeros though, automatically reaching forward to catch the box before it completely fell to the floor, wasting all od the chocolates Zero seemed to be enjoying.
Before he had a chance to stop himself, their hands knocked together gently, both trying to grab at the box as it fell towards the floor. But the warmth the pureblood felt was strange, his body enjoying the feel of Zeros flesh against his own.
Kaname, for once, wasn't the only one that felt the warmth... It almost stunned the hunter as he felt the warmth bubble into his body as their hands connected, both managing to grab the box though not without grabbing each other's hands in the process. Crimson blushed across his face as he stared down at their hands and the box, not quite knowing what to do next... Though it seemed that it managed to stop his bad mood.
"...Um... You want them?" Zero said softly, embarrassment in his voice as he looked back to Kaname but a little shyly. Maybe all Kaname had to do to end his bad moods was to touch him a little bit... It seemed to be working just fine now. Though maybe it was their daughter helping them out a bit, seeing as how she had been the one to kick the box out int he first place.
Looking back down at the box, he couldn't shake the blush that was swarming his cheeks. Well fuck, now what was he going to do... trying to grumble, the hunter slowly pulled the box back to the couch and sat it in the space between them. "...there. You can have some," he sighed though he wasn't taking his hands away from KAname's just yet...
The last thing Kaname wanted was for the silverette to let go of his hand, he had been waiting for some form of contact from the hunter for a while now and now that he actually got it he wouldn't be shying away at all. But hearing the mention of chocolates for him made the pureblood smile. So this is how Zero was considerate when trying to hide his feelings.
Reaching down to pick up one of the smaller pieces, Kaname slowly moved it towards Zeros mouth with a smile. "I got these for you, I'm fine. I'll eat when we have dinner and I'll show you what mousse is so you can decide if you want it" Squeezing Zeros hand gently within his own as the purebloods gaze looked over his mates flushes face, the warmth inside of himself grew. No matter what the hunter had refused to say, Kaname was sure he had feelings for him.. Why else would he blush in such a way?
It seemed that the only one that was denying that Zero had feelings was... Zero. But he would refuse to the very end, until he knew almost certainly that everything was what Kaname said it would be. That he loved Zero, that he loved their baby because she was theirs, not just Kaname's. Until then, the hunter was going to continue to be wary, unable to shake years of mistrust in all the wrong places.
Looking up to the chocolate almost hesitantly, his amethyst eyes eventually looked to Kaname's face. He was smiling again, and he had squeezed his hand... trying not to refuse what Kaname offered, knowing that it would only make it worse for him, he bit back a sigh and lightly leaned over, nipping into the chocolate before moving back and taking it into his mouth.
It actually was... pretty good. It was eaten almost in a haste as he swallowed it, having napped through when he was supposed to eat dinner. Of course he wasn't going to tell Kaname that... He would much rather let him think that he was totally fine the entire time other than needing to piss like a racehorse every now and then... "...How was work," Zero eventually mumbled through the caramel still in his mouth.
This was a strangely civil time for them, one where they both seemed to be relaxed on the couch, hand in hand while eating sweets. The pureblood was ecstatic. "Ah work was the same as usual, there's an issue that needs to be resolved that may come up again soon which will make me go to work earlier but it shouldn't be for a full day again"
Smiling a little at Zero as he ate the chocolates, Kaname moved his free hand forward and stroked against the large swell in the males stomach. No matter what he thought though Kaname loved them both, it was no longer about wanting an heir to his name.. Now he had been in this for a family, one he hoped would love him back.
"What did you get up to while I was gone? Anything of interest?" Though when he had called the male he knew he had been on the floor, wanting to turn on the television. But he couldn't have been doing that for the entire day after all.
It seemed like it was almost by the day now that his stomach was getting bigger... He had even measured his stomach once with a measuring tape, though when the number grew far past what he had expected... that tape immediately found itself in the trash. And there would still be at least another month until she was born... Trying not to sigh at the thought, he ironically shoved another piece of chocolate in his mouth.
"I tried to work on the nursery a bit... But I got tired after the first few stairs and I just came back down. That was after spending an hour at least on the floor because I wanted to watch TV." The hunter was sure to throw a soft glare at the pureblood, as if it was his fault, but the soft nudge against Kaname's hands was enough to calm him down again.
Resting his head back against the couch, he let out a tired sigh. "...She woke me up from my naps at least three times, I went to the bathroom too damn much because she's found my kidneys or whatever..." Ah, so they were to that part of the pregnancy... Though the hunter was hoping that she wouldn't make him piss himself accidentally because she decided to kick him in that spot with a full bladder.
Kaname of course wouldn't be upset if that had happened, it was a perfectly natural thing if it occurred and Kaname would merely help the other as best as he could. That would be if he allowed the pureblood to help, he could be that embarrassed that the thought wouldn't even cross his mind.
"Im sorry about the T.V issue, ill be sure to fix that for you immediately. Though are you hungry? I did bring home for us, if not we can sit here for as long as you like." It was nice for the pair to sit together after all, some more time like this would do them good.
Not to mention Kaname wished to stay hand in hand with the silverette for as long as he possibly could. It was rare that they held hands, in fact Zero tried to avoid all types of contact unless he wanted to have sex. And that had only happened twice.
That had probably simply been because of his hormones racing and for him to feel... promiscuous. But at least it had happened and it gave Kaname hope that this might be real. Trying not to sigh at the asking of if he was hungry or not, the hunter let his eyes close and let his head slowly slide down until it rested against Kaname's shoulder. He was at least warm...
His thumb silently stroked across Kaname's hand as he tried to decide. He needed to eat, and he wondered if that was the reason that the baby was kicking him so much... THough maybe they could think of some negotiation for both. "...How about... You make something to eat and bring it back. I'm not getting up from the couch now... My legs are asleep."
That was another thing that Zero had started to experience lately. If he would sit down for too long, the weight would make his legs fall asleep... Then Kaname would not only have to help him up but hold him up until he got feeling back into his legs. Maybe that was why his feet and ankles were swelling so much... As he finished the last chocolate, he slowly brought his hand back to his stomach and let his hand rest against the swell, just below Kaname's.
"I bought us food, I wont need to cook a thing. You just stay put and i'll be right back, ill bring out our dessert too" Smiling gently at his lover, Kaname stroked against the males stomach lightly until he decided to stand up, though that wasn't without pressing his lips against the silverettes cheek.
Zero at least couldn't growl at him for quick kisses like that, by the time he had tried it would already be over with. But what Kaname wouldn't give to have those lips against his own, to feel toe velvety silk moving with his own firm but soft lips. Though now wasn't the time to dwell, instead the pureblood allowed himself to walk into the kitchen and grab out the metal tubs filled with a nice salmon dish, something simple for them to eat. In the other hand he held the two rather large tubs of mousse.
At least Kaname was more than prepared for a sudden craving of the mousse once he managed to get a taste of it... Though he still couldn't help but grumble under his breath once Kaname was walking away, a little grumpy that he had managed to get another peck at him. It was almost like a game of cat and mouse, where Zero was hoping he'd be the cat...
But instead Kaname was slowly luring the mouse into his claws, though not to destroy but to keep beside him. Hopefully the mouse would eventually come willingly... Rubbing his stomach, he let out yet another sigh and rested his head back against the couch once more. He let his eyes flutter closed but just for a little bit...
Because soon he had picked up the remote that was now strictly beside him, starting to click away at the buttons so that he could see if there was something on TV. He had never been much of a TV watcher, though he was sure that there had to be something on the billion channels Kaname had... Though he wondered if he had ever even used the TV, seeing as the remote was gathering dust.
He hadn't. In fact it was merely there so that if he by chance had visitors they would keep themselves occupied by that. If Kaname ever had free time he was playing chess or perhaps reading. But much of the items in this home had been sitting for quite some time, the pureblood spending his days at the academy.
Soon enough though Kaname had gathered all of the cutlery and returned to the males side, sliding himself down onto the couch before placing the items down onto the coffee table. "Here you go, did you need a drink?" Handing over the cutlery and picking up the hunters portion. Once that had been taken, the pureblood had grabbed his own portions, leaving the mousse on the table until they were ready for it. He had been slightly nervous about that, Zero having gone off about it earlier.
At least Zero seemed to have settled down on that thought for now... Or at least until he eats it. Hopefully he would manage to like such a thing, though he still pinned away for ramen. It was something that Kaname knew he couldn't give his partner, even as he spotted the hunter trying multiple times to make it himself.
As he let his hand continue to rub against his stomach, he couldn't help but grunt as he leaned over to try to gather more of the food onto his plate. He of course took almost all that was left, leaving the thought of eating for two still fresh in both of their heads. It was getting to that time that the danger levels were getting high if Zero didn't eat enough or drank enough to keep the baby going as well as himself... After all, he would need all his strength for when he would finally give birth.
The thought alone made him tense up, grunting softly as he tucked the plate onto the top of his stomach like a small tabletop. "I'm fine... Ill just go with this. It doesn't look dry so I shouldn't need more water," he murmured as he started shovel the food into his mouth. Even if Zero's table manners had never been the best, it at least was allowed because of his deep hunger and craving.
The pureblood hadn't been used to such mannerisms, though they did make him smile. Who else would eat like that in front of the pureblood king Kaname Kuran? Kaname only knew one and he was sitting beside him at this very moment.
Even if he ate like this normally without the pregnancy the pureblood wouldn't mind, at least he knew by then that he was being himself around him and not acting like some stuck up vampire because he had been in the purebloods company. Of course he had always been that way.
Perhaps that was why Kaname had fallen for him so fast in the first place, those feelings may have already been there.
But regardless of those facts, Kaname began to eat his food slowly. It was difficult at first seeing as he hadn't been used to eating on the couch, but soon enough he had gotten the hang of it and had been eating away happily.
There was silence for a little while as both of them ate away, and it wasn't until one of them began to speak to draw their attention back to each other than on the food. Though for once Zero didn't speak about how the salmon was good, which was obvious seeing as how it was already nearly gone. Though as he took a break from his fast eating, he couldn't help but look back at Kaname.
"...I kinda like Lilly for a girls name. Or maybe Grace," Zero offered to Kaname, knowing that they needed to get started in trying to name the baby that could come at any moment. After all, she was obviously stronger than a normal baby... What was stopping her from coming early because he was completely ready? Adjusting his plate on his swollen bump to make sure he wouldn't spill he waited for Kaname to answer.
Though he hoped that Kaname would be gentle about shooting down his ideas... He wanted to try to come to a happy conclusion about the baby's name, and rarely enough, he didn't want to fight over something this important and make a regretful decision on the name. It was why a slightly serious look had crossed his face as he rested his hand against the side of his stomach, feeling the gentle squirms of the baby they were speaking of.
Kaname didn't wish to argue with the male either, so he knew that when he rejected certain names then he would have to be very careful. "Isnt your horse called Lily? It may not be the best idea to call our child the same, just in case. Grace on the other hand is alright but it doesn't really match either of our last names, not to mention our heritage."
He did hope that his reply wouldn't upset the male, it would be hard to calm him down after such a thing. Though they had been getting a little cozy which could also mean that Zero may not be as upset with him as what he may have been earlier. But last names was also something they would have to think about.. Something that may be a sensitive issue for the both of them. Zero would want his first daughter to be named after him but then so would Kaname.. How on earth would they settle?
Last names would have to wait... Zero would rather make sure that they had an actual name to their daughter before they would argue over which of their names she would carry. He wondered if Kaname would want her to have his name only because she was a girl... Doubt was still in his mind to if Kaname was still hoping to have an heir to the throne or not...
Slowly he let his hand crawl over his swollen stomach, feeling that their little girl was starting to quiet down for a little while, hopefully to nap and give them a little peace. "Well Grace can stay on the list until we find something. How about something like... Um..." Zero paused as he tried to find the name he had been hanging onto, knowing that it was just on the tip of his tongue...
"...Nothing too American... How about... Miku?" Miku wans't too bad... But it was also a bit too common for anyone's comfort. There were probably a few here and there, as there were Yuukis and Sakuras. That left the idea of naming their girl Sakura right out... But they also knew that there just wasn't a way to combine their mother's names. Both had tried.
Sakuri or Juura just didn't sound right.
Miku.. It was an alright name but it didn't really stick out as something special for the two of them. They wanted something that would suit there little girl to the tee. "We can put that in maybe, I feel that there's a name out there that would just click for her, something uncommon and suits both our personalities."
But finishing off the rest of his meal and pushing it away from him with a contented sigh, Kaname leant back against the couch. "Tell me when you want your dessert, ill open it up for you"
The hunter was still digging away at the salmon as he was leaning over, starting to dig the salmon onto his plate so that he could eat a little bit more. There had to be that one name... Frowning softly, he tried to pull his thoughts together, trying to think through the baby names he had been searching on the internet, in the books, even in the hunters he knew...
"Damn it, this is harder than I thought..." Zero breathed, probably the third time whenever the discussed the idea of having baby names. At least they were sure she was a girl... It wouldn't mean that they would have to search for male names as well. As he continued to eat, he tried to pull through the stack of names in his head, wanting to pick just one...
"...Isabelle?" Zero sighed but he already knew that it wasn't quite right.
"How about.. Kayla? Or perhaps Jennifer?" Those didn't sound right either, far too Americanised for their last names. Perhaps now wasn't the best time to even think about it, they had both been tired and it would be too difficult to think to much on the subject of names.
Moving his hand over to the silverettes shoulder though, Kaname began tracing light patterns as he waited, those simple motions calming his body more than he would have imagined.. Returning home to a loved one was far better than he ever thought.
It took a while for the hunter to realize that he had shifted closer to the pureblood, letting his head rest against Kaname's shoulder eventually... Though he made sure to keep his plate on his swollen stomach, and making sure that their unnamed daughter wouldn't decide to kick it off as well. That might really set Zero off, to have his precious salmon being snapped away...
"...Kayla is better..." he mumbled. Though as the hunter devoured through the salmon, and the two eventually began to crack into the mousse, they continued to pass off names. They went from Sarah to Alexis, Desiree to Jasmine. None of them were right... Not even after they poured out dozens upon dozens of names. It was at least starting to help them get a sense of what they wanted...
But they still couldn't find that... perfect name. And he wondered with a little sadness if they ever would find it. As the two settled into their mousse, hopefully with the hunter deciding that it was good, the two decided that it was time to take a break from the names. They had a list, even if it wasn't the best, and they could always work on it later... Hopefully later won't turn into when they're in the delivery room.
It wouldn't surprise Kaname if they didn't come up with a name until after their child was born. But that wouldn't matter now, they had exhausted their inspiration on such a matter at present and it wouldn't do them well to dwell on such things, especially not when Zero was still quite moody. Of course as soon as Zero had sat his own head onto Kanames shoulder, the pureblood was quick to rest his own head against the hunters, resting there for quite some time. They would have definitely looked like lovers to anyone else who would see them.
Not that they would ever need to worry about someone else spotting them. Zero wouldn't be spotted in the purebloods home, he was perfectly safe and sheltered in here, it was somewhere that he could do as he pleased without worry.
Though it wasn't long until the hunter had gone silent beside the pureblood... They no longer talked about names, they didn't discuss about the food... In fact, they hadn't talked at all. And every time that the pureblood tried to say something to the hunter, trying to pull his attention to Kaname, he was met with just as much silence as before.
As Kaname tried to prod the hunter, though, tried his best to get a response, he was quickly met with a soft snore... And of course Zero was asleep. His amethyst eyes were closed as he rested against his body fully now, the plate on his stomach just barely balancing. Of course it wouldn't matter too much if it fell off... Zero had all but licked it clean anyway from all the food.
His arm was loose around his stomach though still lightly pressed against it, as if to make sure that she wasn't about to flee from him that easily. His snores still rumbled in his chest, something that Kaname had grown to live with. With every pound of weight growing on his body, it seemed to make his snores louder... An odd thing, but at least it wasn't an even stranger craving like mashed potatoes with ketchup.
As those soft snores met his ears, Kaname turned his head properly and smiled at the young silverette. "Ah, bed time for Mr Kiryuu then I suppose. You're lucky your mummy loves you so much little one, otherwise he would be out hunting if he were able to." It didn't quite surprise the pureblood if Zero wished to still go out hunting, even with him being in the condition he currently was. It may not even be until now for him to stop hunting, putting himself and the child in danger...
Then again, Zero never really seemed to care much for his own health. Instead he did as he wished, being quiet bullheaded, though it seemed like he just needed someone to root him down... Kaname was more than happy to take that position.
Moving his hand down to press against the light swell in the hunters stomach, Kaname soon shifted and pressed his lips against the hunters large belly. Though he was being quite careful not to shift Zero so that he would fall and wake up. That would definitely result in a bad mood. Though he couldn't help but stay there for a few moments, getting those few times where he could freely touch Zero and the baby that lied just beneath the surface. Gentle shifts came to him, and he could almost feel the heartbeat beating beneath his lips...
Their daughter was so close to being born, just another month...
Shifting his body slightly, Kaname moved his arms underneath the others form and gradually moved him so that he had been carrying him carefully. He wanted him to sleep for as long as possible after all. so it was from there the pureblood trod his way up the stairs and took him into their bedroom, already sliding him beneath the sheets. Zero needed his rest, after all. He had work tomorrow...
Hopefully some rest would make sure his grouchiness was at a minimum. ...Hopefully.
Hai hai everyone! Got another chapter up today! It might be a few days before I get another chapter up, work is going to drag me down ;-; But with my beautiful laptop, updating will be much easier!
