"I'm so proud of you" Quinn said hugging Chuck as she looked around his club.

It was opening night and it was the most amazing looking place Quinn had ever seen. Chuck was looking handsome in his suit. She felt self concious in her dress but Chuck reassured her that she looked beautiful. She didn't believe him but she was there to support him.

"I hope tonight goes well" He said sounding uncharacteristically nervous.

"Hey" She said taking his hand "tonight will go great, you're good at what you do and this will be as big a sucess as everything else"

"You're amazing you know that" He said kissing her.

"I know but you can tell me again" She giggled kissing him back.

A cough made them break apart. Quinn squealed with excitment when she saw it was Puck, Santana and Britney.

"I thought you could use some company while i'm busy" Chuck told her squeezing her hand "I need to go speak with the staff I'll be back later"

Quinn was left with her friends in the VIP area.

"So you and Bass?" Santana asked raising an eyebrow "What is it with us going for the same guys?"

"He's really been there for me" Quinn replied with a shy smile.

"If you're happy I'm happy" Santana said giving her a hug "I've missed you Q"

"Chuck's a good guy" Puck added pulling her away from Santana and into a hug "He made sure we were all here and invited us all to thanksgiving tomorrow"

"I'm going to the homeless shelter if any of you want to come" She told them.

"Sure we'll come" Puck told her giving her another hug.

"We will?" Santana asked, Britney nudged her in the ribs "I mean yeah we will"

"So how was your tour?" Quinn asked sitting down next to Santana.

"Amazing" Santana and Britney answered together.

"I'm so happy you guys are back together" She told them with a smile.

"So how are you doing?" Puck asked her.

"I'm really good" She replied with a smile "Chuck has really been taking care of me"

"Does he make you happy though?" Santana asked.

"Yeah he does" She admitted "He's always been there as a friend since we met and it just feels natural being with him"

"Well I thought Nate was right for you and was wrong but I know Chuck can be an ass but really is a stand up guy when it counts so I think it's a good match" Santana said giving her a hug.

"Wow" Britney said looking downstairs "Look at all those people"

The doors had opened the room was filling up quickly. It was going to be a busy night. The doors to the VIP room opened and in walked Nate, Serena and Blair.

"Great" Quinn sighed.

"But Chuck also put Rachel, Kurt and Blaine on the list" Puck said pulling her attention away from Nate and Serena.

"He did why?" She asked.

"We figured you could use a good night with all your friends to not think about them" Santana shrugged.

Quinn smiled brightly.

"You guys are the best i've missed Kurt and Blaine so much"

"We've missed you too" Blaine said surprising her from behind.

"Anymore surprise appearences?" She asked giving her three friends a hug.

"No one else could make it" Rachel replied "So how are you doing?"

"I'm good but better now you're all here" She told them.

"So that new boyfriend of yours is cute" Kurt told her with a wink as they helped themselves to champagne.

"Yeah he is" She laughed "And he throws a good party"

"I'm glad you think so" Chuck said wrapping his arms around her from behind.

"Well if I knew you were stood there I wouldn't have been so nice" She teased.

"I can't stay long we're at capacity and there's a line round the block so I need to speak to people" He told her kissing her on the cheek.

"Then go" She told him "I'm fine seeing as you got all my friends here, and Puck isn't drinking either so I'm not alone"

"I'll be back soon" He promised " All drinks are on me so enjoy yourselves"

"I always liked him" Santana said ordering a round of tequila's.

"So is that the ex?" Blaine asked linking arms with Quinn.

Quinn looked over at Nate who was looking back at her.

"Yes that's Nate" She replied "And his girlfriend Serena and Chuck's ex Blair"

"Well Chuck is just as good looking and she may be hot but you are beautiful" He told her.

"I'm going to get big headed with all these compliments" She laughed.

"Want us to scratch their eyes out?" Kurt asked.

"No I think I'm good" She replied "For now"

"Will you hate me if I say hi to Nate?" Puck asked.

"Of course not" she reassured him

Quinn went to dance with her friends while Puck went to talk to Nate. All of the girls were tipsy and letting loose having a great time. Quinn loved dancing it was the perfect way to let go and have fun. Blurred lines lead to an outbreak of twerking and Quinn hadn't laughed so long in a long time. It reminded her of funk week in glee club.

"Hey Nate" Puck said walking over to him.

"Puck good to see you" Nate said shaking his hand

"So how are you doing?" Puck asked.

"I'm good man, surprised to see you all here" Nate replied.

"We're here for Quinn" He told him " I kind of wanted to talk to you about that before I leave after thanksgiving if you have time"

"What did you want to say?" Nate asked as Serena appeared on his arm.

Puck looked at the two of them.

"Quinn is an amazing woman and she deserves someone who is really going to be there for her, when I lost her it was hard but we built an amazing friendship and having Beth in my life still means the world to me" He told him "She won't make it easy on you and I don't blame her but don't give up on having them both in your life, she wants it and you'll regret it if you don't put the effort in"

"She won't let me" Nate defended himself.

"Do you blame her for making it hard on you?" Puck asked raising an eyebrow "Seriously I did what you did but we were 16 then"

"Well she has Chuck now" Serena interrupted.

"But Nate is still a father, they're a family no matter if Quinn is with Chuck or Nate is with you" Puck told her " Quinn knows that and she wants you around for the baby but she'll never accept help for herself, Nate you need to earn her trust as a friend, I trusted you to be there for her and you let her down you need to make it right"

"Come on Natie" Serena said pulling him away "We're here to have a good time together not talk about her"

Puck rolled his eyes and went back to his friends. Quinn deserved someone who would try harder and not let his new girlfriend control him. Puck hadn't been the best guy in the beginning but they had been so young then. Quinn was so special to him it killed him that she had been hurt and let down by Nate.

"What was all that about?" Quinn asked as he sat down.

"Nothing" He reassured her giving her hand a squeeze "How are you feeling?"

"Honestly a little tired" She replied with a yawn.

"Do you want me to take you home?" He asked.

"I should really stay" She said shaking her head.

"No one expects you to stay all night" He told her in a firm tone.

"Bossing me around now Puckerman?" She joked.

"Yes Fabray it's an order get your ass to bed" He laughed.

"You've known me how long?" She asked raising an eyebrow.

"Ok we'll stay a bit longer" He gave in "But not long we're all up early and you need to rest"

"You sound like Chuck" she giggled.

"Well then I like him even more" He told her.

Quinn looked over at her other friends who were partying hard. Rachel was looking worse for wear and Santana and Britney were all over each other. Kurt was looking after Rachel and Blaine was dancing like there was no tomorrow. She felt so lucky to have them all with her for the holidays.

"I should go and find Chuck I want to see him before we go" She said accepting that Puck was right and she should go home to bed.

It was already 2am and she was busy all day. She headed up to Chuck's office and knocked on the door. The door flew open. Chuck looked angry but his face softened when he saw it was Quinn.

"Are you ok?" She asked as he let her in.

"I'm fine" He said sitting down at his desk.

Quinn took in the open bottle of whiskey and looked back to Chuck.

"Well we all know fine means not fine" She pointed out "What happened?"

"I'm not really in the mood for talking" He sighed reaching for his glass.

Quinn pulled the glass away from him.

"You started your night so happy and now you won't speak to me?" She questioned "You know I'm not leaving until you do"

"Blair came to see me, she tried to seduce me" He told her

"Did you..."She started

"No I had her thrown out" He cut her off.

"Then what's wrong?" She asked.

"She reminded me of who I am, I'll end up hurting you" He replied "You should be with someone like Nate not someone like me who's hurt anyone who's ever got close to him"

"I don't know where all this self pity is coming from but you better snap out of it" She told him.

"Don't I usually get sympathy from you?" He asked smirking.

"When you deserve it, right now you're drunk and sound ridiculous" She replied.

"She's with my Uncle Jack they're going to work together to take everything away from me and they're good at it" He admitted.

"And you're Chuck Bass, the only way people can drag you down is if you let them" She said softening slightly "Tonight was a success because of you and you should be enjoying it"

"What would I do without you?" he asked pulling her down onto his lap.

"I dread to think" she laughed.

He lifted her up onto the desk kissing her forcefully as she wrapped her legs around his waist. She could tell how much he needed her.

"I love you" he told her between kisses.

"I love you too" She replied without having to think about it.

He started kissing her neck making her feel herself losing control.

"You're so beautiful" He murmured coming back up to her lips.

A knock at the door made them both groan in frustration.

"Who is it?" Chuck called.

"Puck, Is Quinn with you?"

"Come in" Quinn called jumping down from the desk.

"I was going to take her home it's late" Puck explained to Chuck.

Chuck looked at the clock on the wall. It was 3am.

"I'll see you later, I've got a few hours left here" He said kissing her lightly on the lips.

"Remember what I said" She said squeezing his hand.

Quinn and Puck got a cab back to the Empire. He was staying there too. They decided to meet up at 11 to head over to the homeless shelter. 12 for the others. Chuck had said Lily wouldn't have dinner ready until at least 5 so they would have plenty of time to get there. Puck gave her a hug and a kiss on the cheek good night before she headed upstairs.

Lola was asleep in her head. Quinn decided to go sleep in Chuck's room. She pulled on one of his grey t-shirts and climbed into bed. It didn't take her long to fall asleep she was exhausted.
