The day seemed to drag on forever for Seth. He just wanted this to be all over. He just wanted to know what his fate was without the endless anticipation. He couldn't eat without feeling sick, his nerves already a thousand times worse than usual. It was still a little while until Roman was due home from work and he honestly wished that he could go back in time and not go to Dean's house that one last time.

As soon as he'd arrived home, he'd been bombarded with a wave of emotions. The house felt different to when he'd left, the interior cold and empty. The front hallway that ran straight from the door felt so uninviting, the smiles of him and Roman in the frames that neatly decorated the walls only added to his misery. He threw his keys into the bowl at the front door before he walked solemnly into the lounge room. He stopped when the two large frames that held collages of photos of the two of them caught him eye in the far corner.

The frames were black and freestanding so he sat down and stared at them. He had never intended on sitting there for literally hours but he couldn't bring himself to move. His brown orbs were transfixed on the numerous photos that showcased the varying steps and milestones that had shaped their relationship over the past six years. The pain that went through his body was something he had never experienced and something he never wanted to again. He knew that this was what it felt like to have his heart broken. That was when he'd shed the first lot of tears since he'd returned home and he knew it would definitely not be the last.

He blinked through the tears, the realization staring him right in the face. Being here right now in the house that he had called home for over five years felt wrong. He knew it felt wrong because he didn't deserve this. He didn't deserve to be in a relationship with someone who put their all in and he wasn't willing to. He knew Roman wouldn't keep him after this. He knew Roman would cut their relationship to an end the instant the confession spilled from his lips. One of Roman's biggest priorities in a relationship was trust and he'd broken it. No. He'd shattered it into a million fucking pieces.

He'd spent the rest of his day lamenting his life choices, fighting with his own conscience over what he'd done. There was no denying that what he'd done was wrong. There was also no denying that he didn't regret it one little bit. Dean Ambrose was the bad boy that walked into his life and made him want to give away everything. Dean had been the one that had tried to push him away, had tried to warn him not to fall for him but it only made Seth fall harder than he ever imagined.

He never in a million years did he think that he would turn into the sort of scum that cheated on his boyfriend. He promised himself years ago that that guy wouldn't be him. He'd never do anything to hurt Roman. That's what he'd told himself after the invisible scars from his last relationship still hadn't healed. He had never wanted Roman to feel what he'd felt from his ex-boyfriend without knowing that Roman had had a similar experience. Except for the fact that his ex slept with anyone and anything and Roman's ex slept with his best friend. He wiped away the tears that were steadily flowing from his brown orbs. He'd fucked up real bad.

He'd been so deep in his own head that he hadn't even heard the front door creak open. He was only aware that there was someone else with him when he'd heard the familiar, heavy footsteps on the carpet behind him. He turned his head at the noise, heart racing in his chest as he came face to face with his boyfriend. He forced a smile, immediately thinking of how odd it must look that he was sitting with his face practically up against their photos. "Hey. You're home early."

"Uh, yeah." Roman scratched the back of his head absentmindedly. "You sounded upset on the phone so I made sure I got home on time. Is everything okay Seth?"

Seth took a deep breath before he spoke. "Um. Yeah. But there's something I need to talk to you about."

Roman creased his brow. "Okay." He said slowly. "Can it wait until after I've had a shower?"

"Um. Yeah. Okay." Seth answered after a moment. "I'll see you in here when you're finished."

Roman merely nodded his head before he turned on his heel and left the room. He'd been on edge already for most of the day with his concern about Seth. On the few times that he'd spoken to his boyfriend today, Seth had sounded close to tears. That thought didn't stop his stomach churning with worry and dread over just what it was that Seth wanted to talk about.

He let out a heavy sigh as he finally reached their bedroom. He placed his briefcase on the floor next to the bed before he began to strip off his work clothes. The entire time his stomach was doing back flips in nervous anticipation. He urgently wanted to know what it was that Seth wanted to talk to him about, although deep down in his heart he had a feeling that it was to do with the both of them. And that thought only stressed him out further.

Seth hadn't moved until he heard the water being turned on from upstairs. His heart was racing so hard in his chest he was fearful that it may burst right out. He moved away from the pictures, his feelings crushed and the beginning of dread settling in as to what Roman would say. Hell, he didn't even have a way to word what it was that he was going to say to his boyfriend. There was no easy way to tell the man who had given you everything that you've been sleeping with his boss for the past few months.

He sighed and stood up. He made his way into the kitchen, hoping that a glass of something would make him feel a little better. He opened up the door to the fridge and pulled out the bottle of sparkling water. He grabbed a glass and poured himself one, downing it in rapid time before he went for another one. He felt his brown eyes close, the bubbles soothing him somewhat as he tried in vain to calm down.

He brown eyes snapped open when he heard the sound of the shower getting shut off from upstairs. He grabbed another glass from the cupboard and poured a drink for Roman too. He placed the bottle back into the fridge before he made his way back into the lounge room at the front of the house. He carried both glasses with him, placing them both on the coffee table that sat in front of the large, black leather couch and he waited.

He didn't have to wait too long until he saw Roman walking back into the lounge room, his words caught right in his chest as he stared at the other man. He didn't know how he could have been so stupid to cheat on a man that looked like that. Men that looked like Roman belonged in fairy tales or cheesy Hollywood movies, not in real life. Not that it had mattered much anyway. He'd ruined it all with a stupid mistake.

Roman reached forward for the glass of sparkling water and lifted it to his lips. He gulped down a great amount, a satisfied groan leaving his lips as he placed his now half empty glass onto the table. "Thanks."

"That's okay." Seth said nervously. They were now sitting next to each other on the three-seat couch but they felt so far apart. He took a deep breath, the words refusing to leave his lips.

Roman turned to look at the younger man. "So what was it that you wanted to talk about?"

"Well, um." Seth shifted nervously in his seat. "There's something that I need to tell you."

Roman swallowed down the lump in his throat, sure that it was his heart trying to burst right out of his body. He knew what Seth wanted to talk to him about and he felt like an idiot for not calling him out on his shit earlier. The signs were right there and he was placid. "What is it?" His tone was stiff, his grey orbs suddenly cold.

"It's um. Well, it's um." Seth could feel the tears pooling at the corners of his eyes. "I don't know how to say this Roman."

"If it's what I think it is, just say it. Don't dawdle on the words and just tell me what I already think it is." Roman responded. He felt sick to his core right now, unsure of what to do or say. He hoped that it wasn't what he thought but he couldn't help but think otherwise.

"Okay. Well." Seth started. His brown orbs were locked onto Roman's orbs. The same sadness was reflected into his. "Dean and I we're more than friends."

Roman felt the first tear fall from his grey orb. "In what way?"

"I've been sleeping with him for the past few months." Seth said quietly through his own muffled sobs. He'd never seen Roman like this, so vulnerable. "Roman, I'm sorry. I never meant-"

"Why?" Roman's tone was sharp and vicious. "Why did you cheat on me with him?"

"I-I-I don't know Roman." Seth babbled out. "I didn't mean to. It just kind of happened."

"Bullshit Seth." Roman snapped. "Shit like this doesn't just happen. You've got to want him and he's got to want you. So cut the crap and tell me why you had sex with my boss."

"I don't have a definitive answer to that Roman!" Seth replied sharply. "I didn't do it cause you were boring me. It just happened because he was so charming and I don't know."

"So you're telling me that I'm not enough anymore." Roman shot back. "I gave you fucking everything you ever wanted under the sun. I fucking bought you that shop and this is how you repay me? Do you actually think that I deserve this?"

"No." Seth shook his head, tears falling freely now.

"Then why?!" Roman's grey orbs narrowed at his boyfriend. "You were with Dean that night that you didn't come home, weren't you?"

"Yes." Seth's voice was so quiet that Roman barely heard it.

"You lied to me Seth." Roman started. "You know I can't forgive that ever."

Seth nodded his head. "I know."

"Dean's done this to me before, you know." Roman started. "My first boyfriend back in college meant the absolute world to me. That didn't stop Dean though. He swarmed in the minute my back was turned and took Tyler away from me. I forgave him back then for some unknown reason." He let out a heavy sigh. "And then there's you."

Seth didn't say a word, scared he might offend his boyfriend. Although he knew Roman wouldn't be his for much longer after his revelation.

"From the moment I met you Seth, I knew that you were going to be the great love of my life. I foresaw our marriage, maybe even kids but just a great life together for the two of us. We were going to grow old together in each others company. I loved you more than anything in the entire world. Hell, I would have given up my career for you." Roman started. He watched the tears fall down Seth's cheeks, knowing that he too was shedding tears. "But then you ruined it. You took away our chance at a happy ending because you can't keep your dick in your pants."

Seth still didn't say a word. He'd felt his whole world crumbling around him. He knew that this was the end.

"I was going to give you the world Seth." Roman continued. "But you gave up on that, you gave up on us from the first time with Dean." He paused a moment. "Can I ask why you chose to tell me today? Of all days?"

Seth took a deep breath, trying to calm his tears. "I'd picked you Roman. Today was going to be the last day with Dean but then-"

"But what?" Roman snapped.

"Phil caught us." Seth answered honestly.

"So you were going to keep it a secret that you'd fucked my boss for months?" Roman snapped. "If your little plan had gone through without a hitch, would you have kept what you and Dean had been doing a secret from me? Would you have never told me?"

"I don't know." Seth answered quietly.

"No. You probably would have still kept sleeping with him until someone else found out." Roman said sharply. "I wouldn't be surprised if I found out that you fucked him in our bed."

Seth's brown eyes widened. "I didn't! I would never!"

"You pretty much did Seth." Roman replied. "You still slept with my boss and lied to me about it. You might as well have." He paused a moment. "Answer me this. Was he better than me in bed? Is that why you kept going back? Was his dick bigger than mine? I know you love a big dick pounding you. That's probably the real reason you kept going back to him. I bet you fucking begged him to sleep with you. I bet you'd have done just about anything to have sex with him one more time."

"Roman, stop." Seth snapped. "I already feel like shit. Don't kick me while I'm down."

"I think you fucking deserve it." Roman replied. "You're nothing but some common whore. Dean's married and you were practically married. You're the scum of the earth."

"Roman. I still love you." Seth bawled. It was his last chance, a desperate plea.

Roman stopped for a moment and really considered what Seth had said. His heart ached right now, truly hurt in his chest. He thought it had been bad with Tyler but this was so much worse. He took a deep breath, his eye contact with Seth never faltering. "We're done. Pack a bag and get the fuck out of my house."

"Roman, please." Seth begged. "I have nowhere to go."

"Not my problem." Roman countered. "Get your shit and get out. I can't look at you right now."

Seth didn't even try arguing. With tears still streaming down his face, he practically ran out of the room and upstairs where he hurriedly packed a bag full of his belongings. He had no idea where he was going to go or what he was going to do. He wiped his eyes with the back of his hand, the tears smearing his vision as he tugged the zipper back down on the sports bag. He ran down the stairs and grabbed his keys and bolted out of the house.

Roman didn't say a word as he watched Seth leave his house. It used to be their home but now it was empty and cold with just him inside. His heart lurched in his chest. This pain of yet another relationship ending just like that was too much for him to handle. His grey orbs looked over at the free standing frames against the wall. Too many perfect memories that were now reduced to nothing.

They were reduced to nothing because of Dean Ambrose.

He stood up from his spot on the couch and walked over to the frames. He pushed it over, watching it land flat on the carpeted floor. That signaled the end of their relationship. There was no going back from this spot, nowhere at all. There was only one thing that he had left to do.

He balled his hands into fists, the anger of being hurt again by the same person who claimed to be a friend at the forefront of his mind. "Dean."
