Quinn was pacing in her suite trying to regain her composure. It was fianlly the day of the wedding. She still had to get ready. Santana and Rachel were arguing with each other. Santana had moved back in with Rachel and Kurt. That meant there were five of them living together. Apparantly Rachel had hogged all of the hot water. Quinn was nervous enough without worrying about two of her bridesmaids trying to kill each other.
"Santana there is a shower here" Quinn snapped "But can you please just start getting ready"
"Ok Brideszilla calm down" Santana said rolling her eyes.
Quinn wanted to reply but knew it was better not to. The last thing she wanted was for another argument to break out.
She had asked Rachel, Santana, Brittany and Jenny to be her bridesmaids. She had wanted Mercedes to come as well but it was too much short notice with her new album coming out. Beth was her flower girl and looked to beautiful. Her Bridesmaids all had their hair curled with some pinned back. She had chosen navy floor length dresses in a floaty fabric.
She had opted for a fitted ivory dress that was just off the shoulder with an open back and just a bit of lace detail. She didn't want anything to over the top. Just simple and elegant. She had her hair pinned in an updo and kept her makeup natural.
"You look like a Hollywood star" Rachel gasped once she was ready.
"You look like a princess" Beth told her.
Quinn smiled at the little girl. It was hard to believe she had just turned seven.
"You look like a princess" She told her pulling the little girl into a hug.
Her hair was in blonde curls. She looked like a mini Quinn in her flower girl dress. It was white and puffed out like a princess dress, with a big navy sash tied in a bow round the middle. Chuck had given her a tiara to wear which she loved. Quinn handed her the basket of rose petals to scatter down the aisle.
"I'm so happy you're my special bridesmaid" She told her.
Ava was with Anne. Quinn was over the moon to have both of her girls with her on her big day.
"Well Q you and the lizards look beautiful but it's time to go" Santana told her pulling her into a hug.
"You look like you're going to cry" She giggled hugging her friend back.
"Don't be stupid" Santana sniffed not looking her in the eye.
Quinn just squeezed her hand. Santana had always been her best friend, she didn't need to say anything for Quinn to know how she really felt. She had made Santana her Maid of Honour.
She took a deep breath as the music began to play and Beth walked out ahead of them. Puck was waiting to walk her down the aisle. She knew traditionally it should have been her Dad, but nothing about their growing family was traditional. Puck was the one who had always been there for her. It only seemed right he gave her away on her big day.
"Lady Fabray" He said offering her his arm as the rest of the Bridesmaids walked out.
"Hey" She whispered smiling up at him.
"Just breathe you look beautiful" He told her.
Quinn felt the tears springing to her eyes. She took a deep breath determined not to let them fall. As soon as she walked out she saw Chuck waiting at the alter looking back at her. There was no doubt in her mind this was the right thing. No matter how many times they were told it was too fast. He was the only one for her.
It was just a small church filled with their family and closest friends. They had both agreed they didn't want anything big. Nate had decided not to attend. Quinn understood but she was so happy Anne had decided to come. She had become family to Quinn. She was going to take care of Ava over night. Quinn was a little bit worried about it because it was the first night she would spend away from her daughter. But it would mean a night alone with her Husband. Just thinking about Chuck being her Husband made her smile.
She reached the alter and smiled at him.
"Hi" She mouthed at him.
The Priest bagan the service. Chuck took her hand as they exchanged their vows. They had stuck with the traditional vows as it was such a whirlwind wedding.
"You look incredible Mrs Bass" He whispered to her as it was finally time to kiss the bride.
"You don't look so bad yourself Mr Bass" She replied.
Santana started wolf whistling as Chuck pulled her into a second kiss. Quinn blushed. She wasn't used to being so affectionate infront of so many people. Chuck took her hand and led her back up the aisle.
The reception was just as small as the service. Quinn smiled as all of her friends were dancing and having fun. Her parents and Anne were talking fawning over baby Ava. Puck and the heavily pregnant Kim were dancing with Beth. Shelby was in deep conversation with Rufus who was no longer with Lily. Lily had shown up with one of her ex husbands.
Quinn and Chuck had been so busy making sure they had spoken to and thanked everyone for attending they had barely had a moment to talk themselves. So When it was time for the first dance Chuck was eager to pull her out onto the dance floor.
Blaine played the piano as Rachel sang All of Me.
Chuck pulled Quinn close and it felt like they were the only two people in the room.
"Thank you" He told her as they moved around the dance floor.
"For what?" She asked eyeing him quizically.
"When you met me, I was a player" He told her.
"I know that" She laughed remember that first night.
"But you became my friend and made me act like a new person, then you gave me so much more" He said.
"You didn't become a new person you just started to act like yourself" She told him " You did the same for me, I don't know how I would have gotten by without you"
"You and Ava make me so happy" He replied "I love that you're my family officially now"
"What did I say about Chuck Bass showing everyone he has a heart" She giggled "I told you, you've gone soft"
He just smirked leaning her back and kissing her so passionatly she could barely breathe. There was so much whooping and yelling Quinn blushed scarlett.
"You were saying?" He asked pulling her back up.
Quinn just shook her head smiling. Chuck helped her just let go and enjoy herself. She felt so at home just being with him. It was more than she had ever hoped for. No they hadn't gotten together under the best circumstances, but Quinn wouldn't change the last year for anything. Things had worked out perfectly as far as she was concerned.
"I think it's time we went home" She whispered.
"Why's that Mrs Bass?" He asked with a sly smile.
"Well you look really good in a suit" She replied leaning up to whisper in his ear again "It really turns me on"
"So gross" Santana told them "but you should go and get a room"
"Thanks S, you always know how to ruin a moment" She laughed turning to her friend.
"You guys love me" Santana shurgged.
Quinn went up on stage to throw her wedding bouquet so they could begin their wedding night. They hadn't had a night alone since Ava had been born. And she loved being with her Baby girl but she would like a night with Chuck as well. She closed her eyes and threw it back into the group of girls that had gathered around. And Kurt. Santana caught it after fighting Rachel for it. Quinn smiled and winked at her friend who was eyeing Britney.
She said her goodbyes to her family kissing Beth and Ava Goodbye. Chuck's car was as always waiting right outside. That night he carried her through into their bedroom. She couldn't believe she was officially Mrs Chuck Bass and their little family was complete.
