I never thought I would write an epilogue for this story but reading through it again the other day I couldn't resist giving them a future. I love these characters so much! I hope you guys like this little addition.

"Honey, I'm home!" Aubrey calls as she opens the door and enters the flat. It was the first thing she did every day when she arrived home from work and it always made her chuckle. She thought it made her sound old but it was sort of a little skit that they had going now.

Not more than a second after she had put down her bag she was grabbed around the waist and spun around in the air. She squealed with laughter and turned around to face him once she was settled back on the floor; her Henry.

She still couldn't believe it was almost three years since they had left Hogwarts and moved into the flat together. The time had gone by so quickly and their lives had altered so dramatically.

Henry had received many job offers from all over the wizarding world due to his excellent N.E.W.T results. But in the end he had decided to take up a position at the Ministry of Magic to work under the Minister of Magic. Although Henry was still only young, many believed that he would one day become the Minister of Magic himself and Aubrey always smiled at the prospect; It made her think back to the night Professor McGonagall asked a young boy to take on the challenge of making Hogwarts a better place. And now here he was striving to do the same thing for the wizarding world. It made her so proud.

Aubrey, meanwhile, had taken up a position at the Muggle-born Preparation Department, as she had always dreamed, and was always excited when she was able to introduce the bright eyed eleven year olds to the world of magic. It made her heart feel full when she watched her assigned child board the Hogwarts express for the first time and know that she had changed their life forever.

But staring up at Henry now she knew that one thing had never changed; their love for each other.

"How was your day?" Henry asked her after giving her a peck on the lips.

"Fantastic!" she replied with a smile. "I took young Becky and her parents to Diagon Alley today. It is my favourite time of the year when I open up that brick wall and see their faces light up with surprise."

"But what about you?" Aubrey continued as they walked down the hallway and in to their little kitchen.

"It was a paperwork day today" Henry sighed as he filled the kettle and put it on the stove. "So it was rather dull. But the paperwork needs to be done for the Ministry to take action."

"Well I can make your day immediately more interesting" she hummed as she jumped up to sit on the kitchen island bench. Henry smirked flirtatiously at her and Aubrey pulled him to her by his tie.

Their lips met with precision and they kissed with such passion that Aubrey felt all her breath leave her body. She wrapped her legs around his waist as he lowered her down onto the bench and began kissing her neck. Aubrey brought his lips back to her mouth and she felt herself becoming lost with the feel of him pressed against her body.

The shrilling of the kettle suddenly brought them back to their senses and with one last kiss, Henry helped her off the bench.

"Cup of tea?" Henry asked huskily; he always sounded that way after they made out and it just made Aubrey want to jump on him again. "Our reservation for dinner is at 7 so we have a couple of hours" he continued.

"Ah, yes, alright then" she nodded, trying to get her breath back.

He handed her a cup of tea and she gave him a quick kiss of thanks. "Where exactly are we going again?" she asked as she took a sip.

Henry smiled cheekily. "It's a surprise!"

"Oh come on!" she laughed slapping his arm playfully. "How am I to know what I should wear then? Formal or casual? Tell me that at least!"

"Formal" he smiled "Definitely formal."

Two hours later, Aubrey, dressed in a simple cross back black dress, stood aghast in front of the restaurant. For years, since she had first laid eyes on it, she had longed to eat at this fancy place yet had never gotten around to actually eating there.

Henry stood next to her in a stylish black suit and silver tie and chuckled at the look on her face.

"When you said formal I didn't think you meant this formal!" Aubrey squeaked looking at Henry in amazement.

"You look beautiful!" Henry smiled lovingly and opened the door for her.

But Aubrey did not get to see much of the inside of the restaurant before their waiter showed them upstairs. There Aubrey found an outdoor garden and patio area adorned in fairy lights and a table set for two.

"Your table" the waiter announced and Aubrey spun around to face Henry in amazement.

"Henry! What is all this?" she gasped.

"They hire out this area for special occasions" Henry chuckled as he helped her into her chair.

"And so what exactly is this special occasion?" she asked as he sat opposite her.

"Well, in a couple of days it will be ten years since we first met each other and I want to celebrate that anniversary" he replied and lifted his champagne glass towards her.

"Wow! Ten years!" she exclaimed and then lifted her glass to his. "To ten years of a wonderful friendship!"

"And many more!" Henry added and sipped his champagne.

Their meal was almost the best she had ever had (the feasts at Hogwarts took the cake for that title) and they spent all evening reminiscing about their years at Hogwarts and talking about the new things in their lives now; like Nell and Benjamin Roman's new baby twin boys.

"If Nell's boys are anything like she was as a young girl then Nell has certainly got her hands full with them!" Aubrey laughed as she popped another bit of cheesecake into her mouth.

"I think you would be a wonderful mother" Henry murmured and she blushed, staring down at her dessert.

"I have something for you" Henry continued, taking her hand in his.

Aubrey met his eyes and caught her breath; could it be what she thought?

But Henry pointed to a small table off to the side of the patio. On it was a white vase with a single stemmed red rose bud in it.

She slowly walked to the vase, her heart sinking from disappointment yet curiosity peaking in her mind. She stared at the rose bud for a second or two before picking it up to admire it. The effect her touch had on the rose was instantaneous and she almost dropped it from surprise. The rose bud had started to glow and bloom, its petals folding down one by one. Then suddenly the heart of the rose was exposed and a gasp got caught in Aubrey's throat. In the heart of the rose was a stunning silver diamond ring.

Aubrey spun around to stare at Henry sitting at the table but instead found him kneeling down on one knee just behind her.

"Oh Henry!" she whispered as tears of happiness began to well in her eyes. "Such magic… so beautiful…"

"Aubrey Jones," he began seriously. "Will you –"

"Of course I'll marry you!" she cried, unable to contain herself or the tears now pouring down her face.

Henry caught her in his arms and she laughed into his shoulder. They clung to each other for what seemed like eternity before Aubrey's sobbing made Henry pull back.

"Darling, what's wrong?" he asked, concern written all over his face.

"Nothing! Absolutely nothing!" she choked. "I just can't seem to stop crying! Stupid hormones!"

"Hormones?" Henry questioned, his eyebrows rising slightly.

She beamed at him through her tears. "We might have to wait a while before we actually marry because, Henry, I'm –"

"No" he whispered, eyes wide.

"Yes!" she laughed. "I'm pregnant!"

Henry then smiled the widest she had ever seen him smile and laughing out loud, he lifted her in the air and spun her around, of course making her laugh too. When he finally rested her on the ground again he laid a hand on her belly, still holding her close.

"My family" he murmured and stared into her eyes lovingly. "I love you so much, Aubrey."

"I love you too" Aubrey whispered and caught his lips with hers.
