I've realized there must be some readers who have discovered my story after a ton of stuff is already out. So if you're on a reading marathon, awesome. Let me know what you think when you come to the evitable halt.

Liam leaned against the glass wall. "I didn't know all about that. Thank you for helping me there, Combot."

Combot did beep beep and woop. It stared at the floor buttons. Liam realized that it didn't understand on where they're going. He pressed the button to the ground floor.

"It has just occurred to me; do you even like the name Combot?" Liam tapped Combot's chest plate. Its head cracked up.

"I asked it the same thing." The voice box said out of nowhere causing Liam to jump like a startled cat. There was a moment of stillness.

"Bwahahaha! Oh man, I was in no way expecting that. Liam you should have seen yourself." The voice caught his breath.

"Well good morning Violet. Are you here to check up with me or Combot here?"

"Combot mostly, it's been developing much faster than I can have anticipated. If this keeps up I can develop its new and badass little brother. Super Combot DX! So I just wanted to say Combot's systems are operating at optimal capacity and keep up with whatever you're doing. I can even pay you since you're technically working for me." Violet returned to a stern tone.

The thought sat in Liam's mind, more money means more cool clothes to get and other things. "Sure Violet, do I need to learn anything about Combot to help it?"

"Just make sure it doesn't blow up. I programmed it to be self-repairing just as long as the tools and materials are available."

Combot turned to Liam and clasped both its pincers together. "See? Combot here is a great companion don't you think?" Violet boasted.

"You had a lonely childhood didn't you?" Liam joked.

"NO!" Violet barked. "Well I said what I needed to. There will be a tool box sent to your room after the fights tonight. Good day." Combot stopped flexing its joints and lowered its head.

"I see you helped this guy in the past as he was growing up. So in other words, you're his best friend." When Liam said that Combot looked at him and blinked its right eye and it shrugged.

"So I am kind of right." Liam looked at the floor indicator to see only three more floors until the ground floor. Combot then raised its pincer and rested it on Liam's back. "Okay buddy, I'll drop it."

The elevator doors opened and the main lobby was calm and the sound of strident shoes hiding the marble floors. The sun's rays settled itself in the lobby. Liam wanted to walk out to stretch his legs after the fight from earlier. Combot didn't need to go anywhere so it just followed Liam.

"Hey there." A large flash of red appeared before the pair. The figure was none other than Bob. Behind Bob were Miguel and Steve Fox. The three blocked their path. Bob looked at Liam and wrapped his arm around Liam and lifted him up a little. "Say buddy, the three of us were heading out to get something to eat, want to join us?"

Liam looked at his watch and noticed it was slightly passed noon. "Sure I'll tag along with you guys."

"Great, what are we waiting for?" Steve led the group outside the hotel. From the encounter Combot was confused. It stood there and forcibly tilted its helmet to the side for expression is a thing Combot excels at.

"What's up with your partner?" Miguel set his hands in his pockets.

"It is curious on why Steve is here." Liam pointed out as they exited the lobby to the outside.

"I'll answer that question with a question. Why can't I? I like to do other things beside punch people. Lucky for me I enjoy the food of other cultures." Steve looked forward keeping an eye out for cars.

"I have no issue with that now come on; some restaurants must have something for the lot of us." Bob kept a quick pace and laughed. While walking beside Miguel, Liam asked. "What brings you with us?"

"I here for a buddy, in this case Bob."

"Whoa, really?" Liam responded quickly.

"Is that surprising? Back in Spain when the Mishima war was frontline news my sister was about to be married. I was a brute and she means a lot to me." Miguel kept an eye out for cars. "There was a miscommunication with some jet bombers and so they bombed the church where my sister's wedding took place. I rushed to her aid and to find out she was injured. Out of nowhere this hefty Red Bull shows up and helps me get her to a hospital. Ever since then he has been a good friend."

"Indeed, I have!" Bob's eyes sparkled as the group crossed the street.

"My sister is still in Spain with her husband. I make sure she is taken care of and if anything happens something worse than hell would appear on his doorstep."

"Great story." Liam aimed his head to Bob. "What were you doing in Spain at the time?"

From there Bob smacked his stomach and laughed. "I was constructing my perfect body; the food in Spain is fantastic."

"You should have seen him. He was quick and a good fighter." Miguel rested his hand on his chin. "And I keep telling him to lose weight when it is hopeless to do so."

"I'm proud of the shape I'm in." Bob spotted a restaurant to try out.

"Here's the thing mate, round is not a shape." Steve held the door open.

"That pun physical hurt me." Bob made a face of terror.

"You mad?" Steve followed the group.

"Not in the slightest. In fact I haven't been healthier since I was weak. By that I mean I closely monitor my health and if something comes up so I can adjust." Bob said standing behind the group.

A hostess greeted the group. "A table for five?"

"Yes." Liam looked around to see the place slightly empty beside three other groups in the place. Liam realized this was a bar and steakhouse. Most employees were Japanese and the chefs from other countries. Liam shrugged the idea and wanted to enjoy the moment. The five sat around a circular table. Bob ordered a meal for two and the rest something simple. Steve chose a well done burger, Miguel a steak, Liam a burger too and Bob well a burger and steak.

Liam was the second one to be seated. "If you two know each other why not team up?"

"We agreed it would be much more fun it we competed against each other. No real reason to do so, why not?" Miguel did a bro fist bump with Bob.

"So Liam, what brings you to the land of the rising sun?" Steve took a drink of water he ordered.

"Schooling mostly; and I wanted to experience the culture." Liam sipped some random soda which was pretty awesome. "I looked it up then my uncle noticed this and pushed me to learn and try new things." Liam looked down a little making himself sound like a kid which he was.

"Awesome, I started Karate when I was eight and loved it. While learning the art some of the teachers were way too strict, so I decided to do my own thing. Freestyle Karate if you will" Bob sat the tallest of all of them, this man was very happy with himself and who has the right to take that away from him? No one that's who.

Miguel grinned afterwards. "Well good for you, I didn't start fighting until a group of punks bullied my sister, I didn't know how to fight but I kicked their asses. From there, I didn't to learn some art. I created my own."

"I'm curious why do you lean everywhere when you fight?" Steve was invested in the conversation.

"I a way of reverse balance, if focus too much I lost my thoughts of fighting on the opponents. For those of being taught tend to underestimate me so I prove them wrong. Well, most of the time." After that Miguel turned to Steve.

"My turn I guess. I found boxing to very calming. England was good to me so I try to return the favor." Growing up Steve discovered a love for boxing when he saw famous fighters prove their mantle to one another and wants to do the same. Steve made sure to leave out his background.

Liam talked about himself of how he acquired his skills. He kept out some of the important bits of the training. Something new he was able to talk about on how Howard was a hard ass in the training. When Howard was a recruit he said that his training was the most enduring test of his life, though the payoff was sweeter than anything. The group didn't mind the talk and that was when the food came.

Bob showed nice table manners that set the standard for the table. Combot sat with the group and it held a fork. It could eat but it seemed that Combot wanted to be part of table. Miguel added plenty of hot sauce to his meal and Steve looked at him.

"My family doesn't like me too much so spice packets became my best friend." Miguel smiled in the memory of his early fights. Steve didn't need to say anything and continued with his meal.

After another ten the group was done and all of them sat there satisfied. Liam looked around to see a group of women staring at the table. Most of them looked in the direction of Steve.

"Hey Steve, fans of yours?" Liam nodded in their direction, and Steve turned and the women scattered.

"Maybe, I don't know. Women have always pestered me with what they want of me. It is never what we can do."

"I can see that, the thing they never get is we are like Owls." Miguel rested his hands on the table and used a toothpick to get the food out of his top part of his teeth.

Bob stopped rubbing his stomach. "What do you mean by that?"

"I mean that in the distance while it sets in their minds that we are majestic and beautiful but when you come close its ruffled feathers, fleas and bones of our meals. Women can be just as judgmental as men." After Miguel said that he set the toothpick down. He did a mischievous grin and looked at Liam. "Well in Liam's case he is lucky enough to not deal with that yet."

"I know what you're doing but that is a dead end." Liam said firmly.

"I have to agree with Liam there Miguel, it's not our business." Bob jumped in.

"Eh, you're right, sorry Liam." Miguel stood up.

"So what now? I don't know about you lot, but I don't want to be trapped in my hotel room." Steve said as the check came.

"I have no idea." Bob scratched his head.

The group paid for the amount they owed and waited for the check to come back so they can leave. All of them went outside to the street. "So mates, how about we a give the lovely people a show?"

"I hope you don't mean fighting? We just ate." Liam wasn't looking forward to get a cramp.

"I'm fine with that, so let's meet up in an hour to give the lovely people a fight." Miguel looked like he was getting excited. Bob and Miguel left to do some stuff. Steve told Liam he needed to take care of a couple of things but will be back in time for the spar.

Liam sat down a bench a looked over the street and his stomach settled. "This is going to be fun."

Also I asked a person in charge of a fighting game YouTube channel to read this story. This Youtuber does a ton of fighting games, combo videos and in great quality. This Youtuber does a wide variety of games. (Tekken, Street Fighter, Soul Calibur, Persona 4 Arena and etc.) The name of the channel is "HurtboxTv." Trust me this person can show you cool stuff with your favorite characters. Another thing I want to mention is that in Tekken it's cool to see characters be bros/friends, I'm biased with Bob and Miguel because they're my team I play with on Tekken Tag 2. Some might say this chapter is bad, to that I say "Can't I show some characters as friends?" Before you can answer, "yes I can its fun that way." Until next time.

Samuel the Optimist: Yeah sorry about the wait but here is a new chapter for ya. As for Leo the character was meant to be ambiguous. (Unidentifiable gender)In Tekken Tag 2 we see Leo in swimwear with the appearance of a girl so some consider that fact of Leo's gender. It comes down on how the player perceives Leo. I choose not to guess and just play. I believe Namco released some info stating that Leo is a girl so you can use that if you want an answer.

RobertD92: It's cool to know that Liam believable. I want Liam to stand apart from the cast but still be part of the cast. He isn't some infinity good fighter just a guy part of the series. I'm not going to strictly limit Liam's clothing for that Tekken allows us to dress up our favorites, thought the Lars outfit sounds like fun. Is it okay if I use that idea in the future? A character creation system does sound fun and cool to know you like Liam so much to want to do that. Thank you for the compliments and have a nice day.
