Apologies for the delay, I was writing out several new chapters but I wasn't satisfied on how the chapters turned out. I don't like doing that and I reworked some of drafts and I'm starting to enjoy it too. I've also been helping with fight scenes with other writer's stories. I mention the stories and chapters on my profile page. By the way the song for this match is "Katharsis" from the House of the Dead 4 soundtrack. The hallway was dim again. Here and now Liam stepped forth into the dark alley. Combot stood behind and stood there in a paused state. The illuminations dashed past them and they ignored the world for the confidence about to be shown. Liam blinked and smiled. "I can handle what you dish out." As cheesy it may to say. Followed by that was Combo

From the opposite end of the arena was another flash. This time it was a nice array of colors of a warm slot machine. A giant man in a dark jaguar mask stood tall and pointed his finger forward. His partner being Jaycee rolled her neck halfway and with her hands into fists she formed an "X" and separated them in a quick motion. She looked mentally prepared.

The walk to the arena is always brief but the background morphed. In view was nothing but green grass, blue cloudless sky and Eastern Island Mo'ai Heads? Liam inspected his surroundings to see a construction site in progress and they are standing on a wooden makeshift floor. Not good, wrestlers and their grapple game, I need to beware their movements. Liam processed quickly.

Combot did a low woop and quick beep. It elevated its helmet slightly and brought it up and down. The gesture is completely new, the best guess Liam could make is that Combot was laughing. Both intoxicated by their high spirits and the night is just getting started.

Liam took his pose and so did Jaycee. She was in an energetic motion, so she may rush into situations too easily but that is how a wrestler thinks.

"Round 1, FIGHT!" The announcer said in his now annoying voice.

Liam dashed forward see what Jaycee is capable of. He lifted his right fist for an uppercut and Jaycee tried to beat him with making her upper body stand straight but she perfectly stretched her right fist forward. Liam was hoping for that kind of attack so in a counterattack he ducked down, as she whiffed the air, Liam rose from the dodge he lifted his left knee up to knock Jaycee back for a moment which he wanted the confusion to continue. While she stumbled back Liam darted and took hold of her loose right arm. He pulled her back and as she walked forward Liam jumped and reverse kicked her on her back to send her to greet Combot. In waiting, Combot did an awkward right arm reel. Like it was set to be at a sixty-degree angle tapping Jaycee's left shoulder, from there Combot did a standard left punch and at the end of it Combot did a half jump kick to have Jaycee fall back.

Not a bad start, Liam contemplated, and then a tall force behind him was present. Rotating his head slightly to be kicked from the back and was in flight for a moment. Several growling noises came with the movements. While Liam was still in the air the individual did two delayed uppercuts, afterwards Liam's back returned to the ground. It wasn't over, from there while a dashing start the individual jumped forward causing Liam's body to turn around stomach first to the ground and the individual let itself fall body first on top of Liam. The aerial attack was a decent one, still need to do more than that! Liam did a push up to see Combot sprinting in for an assist but Jaycee returned by doing a rally charge with ramming it with her left shoulder. Combot was sent rolling backwards. Seeing that help was going to take a moment to come in next year Liam rolled sideways to have his stomach to the ceiling. Good thing too, there is even shade to- oh wait it's just Armor King again preparing for a stomp.

Liam rolled again as the vibrations of the stomp shook the arena a bit of the wooden floor. And it seems to be cracking even. When Liam was a good distance away he propelled himself onto his feet. Combot was caught in array of the newcomer Jaycee. It was a high right leg attack, it dazed Combot, and then Jaycee spun around and was semi crouching then did a right kick again and stood up again and kicked Combot again. The attack was of great form. Combot closed one pincer and tapped the helmet twice as Jaycee kept the pressure as she rolled forward.

Liam wanted to keep watching but a professional wrestler. As Armor King took a step forward Liam ran toward him and on a right punch landed square on Armor King's chest. He looked down and clicked his head upwards. Confidence works both ways. Liam's left palm struck Armor King's stomach, it was a surprise that it was decent because he flinched and then from Liam did his signature throw of stomach punch and tripping.

As that happened while Jaycee rolled forward jumped over here at the end of her roll. From the maneuver Jaycee spent the momentum bringing in a heavy haymaker. Then Combot lifted its left leg and in lighting kicks it was so fast Jaycee was lifted from the ground in an instant and Combot finished the five kicks and brought its right left and kneed her away spinning. Jaycee landed on the metal ground of the construction plank. She got back up and Combot kept its distance.

Armor King took his stance; he kept his body moving but not in an excited pace, this guy can control his movements well. Liam back dashed and then Armor King took a step forward and lowered his body for a trip spin kick and Liam landed on his back. The space was closed and he groaned in the pain. Tugging on the legs, Liam's body was beginning to spin.

"Ah crap."

As that was happening Combo was enduring an assault by Jaycee of a right punch, left punch with a right punch and as Combo struggled to recover Jaycee spun around kneeling and used her right fist to knock Combot down. In the moment of his fall Jaycee grabbed his legs.

"Beep doo." ("Ah crap" in Combotan)

The battle was raging on and the crowd became a blur, Liam's head as filling with blood, the dizziness of this will really hurt. Then in moment froze as Liam saw Armor King with nothing in his hands as the crowd roared. After that second passed Liam crashed his back into something else. Gravity did what it did best. Liam fell to the left and laid there seeing Jaycee raise both of her hands as she walked back to stand next to Armor King.

"K.O."

Liam rolled forward and did a slow push up to get up again. Combot did the same thing. The two got to their feet. Combot dusted some dirt of Liam's shirt. Liam turned to their opponents. He set his arms across their opposite ends and separated them pushing them back as he stretched. Combot clapped its pincer.

"Round 2, FIGHT!"

Combot was the first to go. Armor King moved his semi palm fists around, a boxer tactic. Confusion is a good tool. Combot went first as it locked its upper body, the ninety degree left elbow and the right pincer was completely outward. Combot is making up moves now; yes unpredictability is on their side. The spinning of it was quite fast as it knocked Armor King so hard his back was turned. Combot was going to do more but Armor King isn't a Champion for nothing. With his back still turned he clasped Combot's arms and jumped as he angled it so his body will crash the one grabbed.

Combot was slammed pretty well and it raised its left leg and pegged Armor King's shin. It was enough for it to roll back. Then Armor was already on top of him. By the time Combot was on its feet Armor was running on top of Combot as if it were a ladder. Jaycee took the invitation of the tag she charged the robot. Liam wasn't going to let that happen though. He ran in and grabbed Combot as Armor jumped off. Combot was saved but then was charged by Jaycee. Combot fell down and landed on his stomach.

Liam did a piercing palm again to make Jaycee grab her stomach and then Liam kneed the center of her chest causing her to reset. She reacted quickly as then she spun around to wear off the pain and returned a palm strike in king. Liam absorbed the brunt of the attack as leaned forward with his chest so he won't go flying again.

Combot turned to Armor as the battle raged, As Armor got up again Combot made two jabs on his back and then Armor ducked down and reversed spin kicked to have Combot back off. So in retaliation Combot ducked in as Armor attempted to grab Combot's helmet but was stopped by Combot's right pincer upper cut. All that energy lifted Armor from the ground but Combot didn't want it stop there. It jumped up and with the left pincer it hit Armor again. Armor couldn't do much as it turned its back as Armor his back to the ground. With the signal or vibrations Combot back flipped and landed square on Armor King. It growled as Combot rolled off of him.

Brushing off the strike Liam did ran forward as Jaycee leaned back as she rallied her right fist. Before the connection of the attack. Liam used his right foot to peg Jaycee's right shin and did his left foot to her right shin. From there he did a slight jumping knee and from there lifted the rest of his leg and she was guided to where Armor was laying down and she tripped over him. Combot was above her as it kneeled down and punched her stomach. The two didn't get up so quickly.

"K.O."

Combot and Liam were unwavering in their stances as the wrestler team stood up again. Armor looked at Jaycee and she nodded.

"Final Round, FIGHT!"

She jumped up and Armor caught her. She started to spin round and round was sent flying to Liam's team. Combot stepped left and Liam stepped left. As she passed Combot caught her upper body and Liam with her legs. Combot nodded as they flipped Jaycee and she landed on her back. Combot made an angled kick for her cheek.

Armor was furious with them; a red aura was aching for a comeback. Without waiting the two split up and circled to Armor King. He turned to Liam and sprinted to him meeting halfway. He jumped up raising his elbow upward but was avoided by Liam ducking. Armor King abuses that move as it was seen in other matches. In the open Liam did left fist uppercut and was lifted slightly, by the time that happened Combot appeared. It jumped upward and then it right pincer slammed having Armor to break the wood planks and fell down. He bounced of his back. Combot did slight knee attack having Armor stunned again in the air as that happened Combot jumped up and firmly dropped its legs down slamming Armor high again as Liam joined the assault. Left, right jabbed and high kicked Armor; while Combot zoomed past Liam and jumped with it elbow forward and Armor introduced himself to a rock wall.

He slid down and sat in the corner. Combot stretched its pincer and clapped it twice; Liam walked up to it as the two jumped up and high fived and as they came down Combot kneeled down slightly as it made a bicep "yeah." Liam chuckled a little.

The arena began to fade a tad as doors appeared for the fighters. Liam walked to Armor as he offered his hand. Armor looked up and took it. When he was back on his feet Armor tapped Liam shoulder and nodded.

Combot waited as Liam left with it off the arena. That was intense.

"Well that just happened." Forest Law said as the pair passed him with Hwoarang, his random partner.

They walked to the balcony again as the other contestants looked at them. Some of wonder with others excited. Beside them was a blonde woman with a familiar aura. Liam looked to his right to see Nina Williams.

"Not bad, keep this up and you can almost make it." She said while exiting the balcony. Liam reminded himself that this is still a competition. Combot was doing a system check of its body. Liam massaged his shoulders as the night continued.

I'm sure yu noticed I changed the fight scene a tad. Usually it's one and one so I mixed it the similar two on two fights and I hoped it worked. I enjoy writing this and I hope you like reading it.
