Hello there everyone, I hope you didn't get too hung up on the ending from the last chapter. I saw some cool gameplay footage of Tekken 7, and there is some cool stuff in it. Enough rambling, let's continue.

The sunlight was gleaming of the mirror as Liam pulled his head from his pillow. Looking to his right was Combot staring back at him, Liam didn't react because he was too tired to react. Liam got up from his bed and walked to the bathroom.

The mirror reflected his unkempt hair it curled upwards to make a pointed hairdo. It kind of looked similar to Jin's which made him chuckle as he brushed his teeth. After ten minutes of the morning schedule of becoming ready for the day. Today he decided to where beige shorts with a grey "Bull shifters" band shirt. After getting dressed he walked into the living room and turned on the TV for news. While he watched all the announcements, he ordered room service breakfast. He turned to the TV when he finished the call.

"Well good day, Japan. We have some exciting news of the current spotlights of the Tekken Tag Tournament. The fights went (knock, knock) blah blah blah" Liam looked at the door.

He walked to the door and opened casually with Combot looking over his shoulder. "Morning, Liam." It was Lili and she was followed by Leo.

"Kicking down my door again?" Liam opened the door fully and leaned back to make room. Lili rolled her eyes as Leo chuckled. For some reason Leo was dressed differently. She wore a red leather jacket with pure white paddings on her shoulders and with blue jeans and red athletic shoes. For the last bit of odd, she had a crimson fedora hat that matched her jacket.

Lili was dressed differently as well. She wore the same frilly while long shirt with blue capris pants, and grey and white shoes. She flicked her hair as she entered the room. Always so full of pride, Liam was about ready to close the door. A hand slapped the center.

"Don't forget about me." Asuka nodded at Liam as she entered. Today she was wearing a dark blue shirt with black jeans with blue shoes.

Each of them got comfortable on the furniture leaving no room for Liam. "Well good morning everyone, can I ask why all of you are here?"

"We're bored, and so let's do something today?" Leo was flicking through the channels.

"I concur with that statement; things have been different since Sebastian decided to enter the tournament." Lili sighed.

"She's just saying that because Princess here can't remember things to save her life. Seriously, she forgot her wallet in our room five times now." Asuka bumped Lili's shoulder.

Lili shot Asuka a death glare. "It was only three times."

"It sounds better when it's five." Leo chuckled.

Lili lowered her head and grunted. Liam laughed with the other too as combo joined in as well.

"Don't feel bad, my uncle Howard left me behind at a gas station once when I was young." Liam paused for effect. "We were on a road trip to France when I was ten and when he got some snacks and drinks he took off. I was still inside the station looking at the cheap candy. After making a purchase, then walked outside and the car wasn't there. I roamed around inside the station several times. Howard showed up after five minutes and he rushed me into the car. I didn't understand what happened until it came to mind years later. I told him about it and I've never seen Howard's cheeks get so red before." Liam was in the kitchen now getting some water for him.

"My mother gave me candy Mentos and she wasn't paying attention when she also gave me diet cola. The reaction under my lips went off and I was so scared that I thought I lost my brain." Leo looked at the ceiling.

"I was four years old as my dad was beginning to teach me of martial arts. The taught me how to do a perfect punch. Weeks later after watching cartoons, a character punched a mountain and split it in half. In our backyard I tried to do the same thing. I hurt my hand and nearly began to cry. My dad was watching me and he walked beside me and punched the same rock. He couldn't do it and he broke his pinky in the process." Asuka relaxed her shoulders.

Everyone shifted their eyes at Lili. "You're not getting anything out of me." Lili raised her chin. Everyone kept staring.

Her expression changed to that of defeat. "Alright, when I was six, I got a bicycle for my birthday. My father told me that if I got so fast I can reach the moon. I ordered Sebastian to build a ramp in the garden. I raced down the sidewalk on a night of the full moon. I jumped from my bike and landed on left side on the grass." Lili tugged her shirt for her left shoulder to be visible. There was a tiny scar of a jagged L. It looked like a bolt of lightning. "My father ran outside in his pajamas and found me. He wasn't scarred but he laughed as he lifted me up. I didn't cry and we played in the garden until I was tired." Lili looked at the ground.

"We all have something to cherish." Leo spoke calmly. There was a knock at the door as Liam opened it for his breakfast. After tipping the server, the others crowded around Liam.

Taking off the lid, they gazed at four steaming pancakes. "Hey hey, get your own!" Liam lifted the platter at the ceiling.

Lili took the platter out of his hands as Leo got the plates. Using a fork, Asuka took one of each and distributed the food. Lili slid the last plate at Liam. Rolling his eyes Liam poured a decent amount of syrup.

"Ok, seriously what are we going to do today?" Leo swallowed a bite.

"I heard there are some new movies at the theater today." Asuka suggested.

"Who would tell you about that?" Leo inquired.

"My mother." Asuka responded quickly, no one ridiculed her on the matter so she smiled.

"Whelp, I can't think of anything better so let's do that." Lili finished her share of the pancakes and patted her lips with a napkin.

I have been doing nothing but training, so just slacking off today won't hurt, Liam thought. "Alright, I'm in."

"Great, let me get my stuff and I'll meet you guys in the lobby." Leo walked to the door and left. Lili walked to the door as well.

"I need to acquire something I need."

"You need to get your wallet don't you?" Asuka pointed out.

"Shut up." Lili responded quickly as she left. Liam was holding the door as Asuka was setting her plate away. Whatever happened last night must have been a dream. Liam relaxed. Asuka finished her clean up and leaned to Liam's right ear.

"When do I get an answer?" She smiled and left the room.

Liam closed the door and he stood there for ten seconds. "…Aw crap."

The night before

Liam blinked his eyes. "Say what now?"

"You heard me." Asuka frowned slightly. Her face was in the dim light but the reflection in her eyes was bright.

"I heard you but I'm just a little surprised by it." Liam replied.

"Well it's happening now." She eased the tension on her shoulders.

"Can I ask why?"

"You're my first real guy friend apart from my relatives. You bridged the gap between me and Lili. You're clever, intelligent and have a sense of humor. You're also the first boy who isn't scared to talk to me."

"I didn't know I should have been." Liam smiled weakly.

"Tck, jerk. You don't have to give me an answer right away so just think about it." Asuka walked to the couch and joined Leo and Combot. The door was being knocked on again. Liam opened it for Lili.

"I apologize on being late to arrive." Lili entered the room. After a while they talked and laughed in each other's company.

Back to the present

Liam gathered some of his belongings and made his way to the lobby. Combot stood behind him as they sat down on a couch waiting for everyone. At least this time a pair of assassins didn't ambush him. He kept laying there as Feng Wei walked past him.

"Good day, Mr. Jaeger." Feng bowed.

"Good day, Mr. Wei." Liam stood up to return the gesture. "I feel awkward if you use my last name, just stick to Liam alright?"

"Alright… Liam, I just wanted to say last night was a good match and you fought well against Lars." Feng stood tall with great confidence as he wore a green suit with his hair in a ponytail.

"Why thank you. You did well against Combot here as well." Liam adjusted his head to his partner.

"Well, yes the machine here was ok." Feng didn't look at Combot. "Good day." Feng bowed again and walked to the elevators.

The fight last night was intense. He doesn't seem to like Combot all that much. It can be understandable though. Feng Wei has the mind that he must always train to fight his best. It was always like that and to meet a machine that can instantly learn and adapt to fight hand to hand combat must be difficult to digest. Combot has his first rival, and it's a powerful one. The elevator doors opened to show the rest of the group ready to go.

"Hey Liam, are you ready?" Lili waved her left hand softly.

"Yeah, let's do it." Liam stood up and walked outside with the others.

I couldn't help it but save the juicy bit for the end. I didn't want to have it be squandered so quickly. In case you're wondering the clothes are some of the costumes I created for them in Tekken 6 and Tag 2. I know I said I'll talk about the relationship more this chapter but the event itself hasn't past, so I tell you when it does. I hope you like the stories I made for the characters. Rhyno Raimory Rain: Thank you, I wanted to use Combot when I started this story. It is something I can really do whatever with, I made all of his gestures that of a learning robot. I think it makes it have a personality on its own. The laughing gesture came across to me for a while now and didn't know where to place until now. Yep, Asuka did ask out Liam. I was constantly PMed about it since I made their friendship happen. Come to the think of it, that just happened without it being forced on the readers. Go me. Thanks for the mention of the music, I put a lot of thought into it for the fights. I'll keep writing because this story isn't done yet and have a great week.
