Note: I know that most of these movies are not in theaters now, but pretend that they are.
Janine + Abe
"Do you want to go see a movie with me?" asks Abe.
She smiles. "Sure."
When they get to the theater, he realizes that they haven't agreed on a movie yet.
"Do you want to see Titanic 3D?" he says.
"Nah," she replies.
"Ummm…Eat Pray Love?"
"No."
"Bridesmaids?"
"No, thank you."
"The Proposal?"
"Sorry."
"Legally Blonde?"
She gives him a look. "No offense, Abe, but...you have the unmanliest movie taste. Ever. How did I not know this before we managed to make Rose?"
His jaw drops. "No! No, I just…"
"Just…?" She raises an eyebrow.
"I just…don't all girls like those movies? I mean, we never went out to watch movies pre-Rose, so..." he finishes, blushing.
She bursts out laughing. "Abe, even if I liked chick flicks, I wouldn't force you to watch one with me."
He sighs in relief. "Oh, good. So what do you want to watch?"
She grins. "How about The Avengers? Rose said it's pretty good."
"Dimitri didn't like it that much," he counters. It's not that he doesn't want to see it. He simply likes to argue with her over trivial things.
"Yeah, but Dimitri's taste in movies is…questionable," she deadpans.
"That's true," Abe chuckles. "Okay. Let's watch The Avengers."
