For the second time, I have risked all… I don't know why I couldn't hold myself near her… why I had to say that I loved her… damn…
But, on the other hand, maybe I know why: Maria was incredible…
It doesn't matter if my brothers didn't like her at first, but I know they will later on… that is, if she loves me the way I think she does and stay with us… me for that matter...
Well, let me go back to the task at hand…
So, here we are, camping near Hamah, in a strategic place where we could see the movement inside the city…
At night, we had dinner and we revised the plan… we would enter separately: first, the men and Aisha posing as scholars and then, Maria and me, a married couple. She would be a pregnant woman and in need to see a midwife because, it was time…
I know we would be compromising the brotherhood, but recuperate the apple was primordial…
Besides me, Simas was one of the few people who the apple didn't affect… he wasn't there when I when I killed Al – Mualim… when he returned from his mission, I made him one of my right arm men…
He will die… I just don't know how…

Altaïr put the ink down and put his right fingers on his eyes while sighing, tired…
"Altaïr…" Aisha called him.
"Yeah…" he said, putting his hand on his thigh as he looked at her…
"Did something hap…" she started to ask, but stopped when she saw his face.
Altaïr got up slowly and paced on his tent.
"Yeah…" he said.
She nodded.
"What is it, Aisha?" He asked again.
"I just want to pick up a mantle for tomorrow…" She said.
He nodded and she entered the tent to retrieve a mantle quietly. On the way back to the women tent, she stopped and turned to him.
"It will be ok, Altaïr…" She said. He looked at her and she continued: "You can't keep two people in love apart for long…"
Altaïr raised an eyebrow.
Aisha didn't say anything, just nodded and walked away, leaving Altaïr standing there…

Aisha entered on the women tent and looked at Maria.
"What is it, Maria?" She asked gently.
"How is he?" Maria asked, concerned.
"Well, I think he is kicking himself for you…" Aisha said.
Maria didn't said anything, just leaned her head on her hand.
"Altaïr took me by surprise…" She said. "What could I do?"
Aisha approached her.
"How about tell him the truth?" She asked Maria.
Maria looked at her.
"I don't know…" She said.
"Well, it will be easier for you, because tomorrow you and he will have to act your part of the plan..." Aisha said. "And Altaïr is a perfectionist, so…"
With that, Aisha went to sleep, leaving Maria to her thoughts…
