Clockmon is tinkering with the group's Fusion Loaders on a table.
The group looks confused while the Old Clock Man Shop watches a couple of computer monitors.
MIKEY
(confused)
So...why are you working on our Fusion Loaders again?
CLOCKMON
I'm upgrading them.
ANGIE
How?
CLOCKMON
Travelling through time and space requires more energy than within the DigiQuartz.
OLD CLOCK SHOP MAN
With these upgrades, you can travel through the digital space faster with a blink of an eye.
JEREMY
You mean like travelling through different zones in the Digital World?
CLOCKMON
The very same.
ANGIE
Cool!
EWAN
I wonder if Drake and the other Digimon Hunters survived the attack.
RICKY
I'm sure they're fine. Besides, Drake is bound coming to his senses sooner or later.
MIKEY

DISSOLVE TO:
BEGIN FLASHBACK.
EXT. SHINONOME - OUTER GARDEN (DIGIQUARTZ) - DAY
We see DRAKE MOGAMI (14 years old, grey/silver hair) reloading a Digimon resmebling a Gabumon known as PSYCHEMON which uses colored electricity from its horn to stun a wild JAGAMON.
Drake then proceeds capturing the Digimon with his Fusion Loader.
RICKY (V.O.)
Remember when he used to be a cocky jerk catching Digimon and rubbing in our faces?
DISSOLVE TO:
EXT. HOTEL GREATON (DIGIQUARTZ) - NIGHT
We see Ricky and Ewan fighting alongside Drake against a wild SUPERSTARMON.
RICKY (V.O.)
Sure, once in a while, we turn to him for advice...
DISSOLVE TO:
EXT. SHINONOME - TOKYO BAY (DIGIQUARTZ) - DAY
We see Drake using the Brave Snatcher to combine powers with the other Legendary Heroes.
RICKY (V.O.)
..he still managed to betray us in the end and almost wiped out the Earth with Quartzmon!
DISSOLVE TO:
END FLASHBACK.

MIKEY
It wasn't his fault.
ANGIE
Quartzmon only used him to absorb enough data from his Digimon collection to make him powerful.
RICKY
I know that. It's just that now he's...different.
JEREMY
How different?
RICKY
He's always quiet. I try saying hello to him, but he doesn't respond. Even his old teammates told me to let him be. It's almost like I caused him to act this way.
MIKEY
Don't say that.
CHRISTOPHER
Everyone makes mistakes. It's part of life.
EWAN
Deep down, he'll be back on tracjk in no time. You don't have to worry about him.
RICKY
...Okay.
CLOCKMON (O.S.)

Clockmon hands each of the group their Fusion Loaders.
CLOCKMON
All geared up and ready for travel.
NENE

The Old Clock Shop Man nods at Mikey and Ricky. The two nod in response.
MIKEY
Okay, guys. This is it. This is going to be a mission like never before.
Each of the selected group lines up in military style.
MIKEY (O.S.)
We are not sure what obstacles will be coming up ahead. But, as long as we keep on fighting, our hearts will always be connected .
Mikey turns to the map.
MIKEY
We will encounter and find as much help as possible. Once we reach the center, we'll all take down the source together as one. It will be a battle sure to remember.
RICKY
(emotional)
Dude...
(sniffs)
...that was beautiful.
Mikey rolls his eyes and turns back to the team.
MIKEY
We have no time to spare. Are you ready?
OTHERS
We're ready!
Each group uses their Fusion Loaders to open up separate portals to the digital space.
RICKY
(turns to Old Clock Shop Man)
Are you sure you don't wanna come with us?
OLD CLOCK SHOP MAN
No, I must stay here.
(turns to the map)
As guardian of this universe, it is my duty to monitor activity of the multiverse.
RICKY
(scoffs)
Whatever, Father Time.
OLD CLOCK SHOP MAN
(suspicious)
Hmm?
RICKY
Oh!
(nervously chuckles)
Nothing.
Nene and Ewan enter through their portal.
NENE
Good luck, Mike!
EWAN
See ya later, guys!
Their portal disappears.
ANGIE
Please be careful, Mikey!
Angie enters through the portal.
Jeremy stands near the portal.
JEREMY
Just picture this now, Mikey Kudo. You're witnessing: Jeremy Tsugi, kendo master AND time explorer extraordinaire! I will be remembered as the brave, heroic and handsome-
Angie's arm suddenly grabs Jeremy's ear from the portal.
ANGIE (O.S.)
Come on, Mr. "Hero"!
Angie pulls Jeremy inside and the portal disappears.
MIKEY
Take care, Christopher.
Christopher nods and enters his portal. The portal disappears.
Mikey and Ricky stand near their portal.
OLD CLOCK SHOP MAN (O.S.)
Go, Legendary Heroes. Fulfill your destiny!
RICKY
I call shotgun!
Ricky enthusiastically runs into the portal.
RICKY (O.S.)
Yahoo!
Mikey tries to question but SIGHS. Mikey enters the portal and disappears.
OLD CLOCK SHOP MAN
(Time is of the essence.)
CUT TO:
EXT. DIGITAL SPACE
Mikey and Ricky are travelling fast through the space.
Ricky flings his arms in joy.
RICKY
(exclaims)
It's like we're on a roller coaster ride!
MIKEY
The digital space may not have loop-de-loops, but it sure beats waiting in lines.
Mikey's POV of travelling through the space, passing by many scattering data and numbers.
Mikey and Ricky travel faster than before.
Ricky's cheeks were flapping against the speeding wind and puts on his googles for protection.
RICKY
(yells)
This is a awesome!
Mikey is shown to have his googles on as well.
We hear Shoutmon's voice from the Fusion Loader.
SHOUTMON (O.S.)
Uh, Mikey? I think we're going a little too fast!
In Mikey's POV, we see a portal opening up in the far end of the pathway.
RICKY
(yells)
What's that up ahead?!
MIKEY
Looks like we're reaching our destination! Brace yourself!
Mikey's POV of the camera speeding towards the portal.
BRIGHT WHITE FLASH TO:
EXT. FILE ISLAND - TROPICAL JUNGLE - BEACH - DAY
Mikey and Ricky fly out of the portal.
Mikey lands on the sand while Ricky crashes head-first into the sand.
MIKEY
Man, what a trip.
A lightheaded Ricky pulls his head out of the sand.
RICKY
(dizzy)
That was insane. Can we do it again?
MIKEY
(looks around)
Where...are we?
Ricky dumps sand out of his left ear and regains his senses.
RICKY
I don't know. Looks like a beach.
(gasps; excited)
Are we on some tropical resort?!
Mikey walks and looks around the beach.
MIKEY
Hardly. There's no hotel or boardwalk nearby. My guess is we're on some type of island.
(turns head)
We better be on guard or-
We suddenly see Ricky and Gumdramon relaxing on the sand, with beach towels and wearing shades.
MIKEY
(boiling-mad)
WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU TWO DOING?!
RICKY
Kicking back and enjoying the rays.
GUMDRAMON
Yeah, this is so worth coming out for fresh air.
Mikey angrily kicks sand in their faces.
Ricky and Gumdramon get up and wipe the sand off their faces.
RICKY
(coughs)
What was that for?!
MIKEY
We're on a mission; NOT on vacation!
GUMDRAMON
You should've told us sooner. I was trying to give my tail a tan.
MIKEY
Listen...
(counts each finger)
we need to investigate, find some help and move on.
Ricky and Gumdramon SIGH in boredom.
RICKY
(unenthusiastic)
Fine, lead the way.
Suddenly, Ricky and Gumdramon feel the sand rumbling from under them.
RICKY
Hey!
GUMDRAMON
What's...happening?!
A sinkhole starts opening up near them.
MIKEY
Get out of there!
Ricky and Gumdramon run away safe as the sinkhole starts sucking the beach towels inside.
After a moment, a geyser of water starts bursting out of the sinkhole.
RICKY
Oh no! The beach is sinking! We've pulled the drain plug!
Unbeknownst to the group, a giant hermit crab-like shell then spirals out of the sand behind them in the background.
Gumdramon turns around and becomes petrified in fear.
RICKY
What is it, Gumdramon?
A shivering Gumdramon points out as the others turn around.
GUMDRAMON
Guys...
Then, a pink turtle-like creature with algae-like hair emerges from the shell. This is a Digimon known as SHELLMON.
GUMDRAMON
...I think we woke up a Digimon!
Shellmon ROARS at the group.
RICKY
Dude, that thing looks pretty mad!
MIKEY
This beach must be its natural habitat. I think we're not supposed to be here!
RICKY
Oh.
(nervously laughs)
Sorry we woke you up, big fella. No hard feelings?
Shellmon responds by shooting water from its hair.
MIKEY
Watch out!
The group jumps at different directions to avoid the attack.
RICKY
Run!
The group runs to exit the beach. Shellmon GROWLS and spots them. Shellmon then proceeds to shoot water again.
Mikey takes out his Fusion Loader while running.
MIKEY
Reload, Shoutmon! Hold it off!
Shoutmon appears out of the Fusion Loader and wields his staff.
SHOUTMON
You got it, Mikey!
Shellmon shoots water at Shoutmon.
Shoutmon charges his staff with energy.
SHOUTMON
Bellow...
(fires energy from tip of staff)
...Blaster!
The energy hits and pushes the water back at Shellmon.
The attack hits Shellmon and flings it into the ocean.
SHOUTMON
That's one crabby Digimon.
Shoutmon catches up with the group.
CUT TO:
EXT. FILE ISLAND - TROPICAL JUNGLE - DAY
The group investigates through the jungle area.
RICKY
Well, that was an unfriendly welcome.
MIKEY
This island is inhabited by wild Digimon. You can't always assume this place to be safe. I almost you two guys back there.
GUMDRAMON
How "selfish" was that shellfish?
(chuckles)
Get it?
SHOUTMON
(sarcastic)
Hilarious.
RICKY
Don't worry, dude. I've learned my lesson. Nothing distracts the superstar anymore. Because we're a duo dude team and nothing stands in our-
(notices something)
Hey, is that a soda machine?
We see a soda machine is present in the middle of the jungle pathway.
Ricky happily runs ahead while a puzzled Mikey stands there.
Ricky examines the machine.
RICKY
Hey, guys! This machine still works!
Ricky pulls out a dollar.
MIKEY (O.S.)
Hold on!
Ricky pauses.
MIKEY
Let's stop and think for a minute there.
RICKY
What's not to think? It's a soda machine, duh. Besides, all that time-wrapping is making me thirsty.
MIKEY
Don't you find it suspicious that there is a soda machine in the middle of a jungle?
SHOUTMON
It could be a trap.
RICKY
Guys, it's just a soda machine. What's it gonna do? Eat my dollar and rotten my teeth?
(chuckles)
You guys worry too much.
Ricky feeds the dollar into the machine and selects a button.
The machine starts shaking and Ricky cups his hands near the take-out port.
RICKY
All right! Come to papa!
Suddenly, a group of green slime Digimon known as NUMEMON start pouring out of the machine and scurry away through Ricky.
A scared Ricky freezes into an awkward position as the others anxiously witness the action from the background.
After the last Numemon leaves, Ricky still freezes for a moment until a soda can, covered in slime, dispenses from the machine.
GUMDRAMON
You should probably not drink that.
MIKEY
(Poor Rick. When will he learn?)
SHOUTMON
At this rate, it'll take forever to find a way out of this jungle.
MIKEY
I'd better take a closer look at this island...
(turns to a tall tree)
...from above.
Mikey starts climbing up the tree.
Shoutmon then guards the tree and constantly shifts his eyes.
SHOUTMON
I'll be on a lookout for anything dangerous coming our way.
GUMDRAMON
If you need me...I'll go comfort Ricky's...dilemma?
Gumdramon walks off-screen to Ricky.
ANGLE: TOP OF TALL TREE
Mikey makes it to the top of the tree and starts observing the whole layout of the island from above.
MIKEY
Whoa...
In Mikey's POV, we see a display of the following island areas in a 360 degree turn: Native Forest w/ Dragon Eye Lake and Primary Village, Gear Savannah w/ Yokomon Village, Factorial Town, Toy Town, Infinity Mountain, Freezeland, and Great Canyon.
MIKEY (O.S.)
(Look at all these exotic and diverse areas. This island must be an unique home for a variety of Digimon. Yet...)
Mikey takes notice of Infinity Mountain in the distance.
MIKEY (O.S.)
(...that huge mountain over there might be important.)
RICKY (O.S.)
Whatcha doing?
Ricky is present which suddenly startles Mikey and almost falls off the tree branch.
Ricky pulls him up.
MIKEY
Thanks.
(beat)
But, don't scare me like that!
RICKY
Sorry.
MIKEY
What are you doing up here?
RICKY
I wanted to check out the view...if you don't mind.
MIKEY
No, I don't.
RICKY
(looking out)
Wow! This island looks amazing! I wish we had time to explore everything around here.
MIKEY
Maybe next time. For now, I think that mountain over might be our answer to where we're heading.
Ricky's POV of Infinity Mountain.
RICKY (O.S.)
That mountain?! It'll take us days to climb on top! I don't even have any flying Digimon in my collection!
MIKEY
Wait, don't you have-
SHOUTMON (O.S.)
Mikey!
Mikey and Ricky hear Shoutmon's call.
ANGLE: TROPICAL JUNGLE
Shoutmon and Gumdramon glare at something off-screen.
Mikey and Ricky slide down to the bottom of the tree.
MIKEY
What is it?
SHOUTMON
Shh!
(whispers)
Something's coming.
Mikey and Ricky see trees and bushes rustling in the deep shadows of the jungle.
In the group's POV, the camera slowly ZOOMS IN on a certain bush rustling. The bush then stops rustling and the moment pauses.
Mikey and Shoutmon look suspicious while Ricky and Gumdramon look confused.
Ricky suddenly SNEEZES which breaks the silence.
Suddenly, two Digimon burst out of the bush, running towards the camera. One is a yellow "custard" known as SUKAMON and a pink mouse known as CHUUMON.
As the group prepares to attack, Sukamon & Chuumon dash past the group as the group watches them running off into the distance.
SUKAMON
Run! Run for your lives...!
CHUUMON
Gesundheit, buddy...!
The group then looks more confused.
MIKEY
Okay...?
SHOUTMON
What just happened?
GUMDRAMON
(alert; pointing out)
Duck!
We suddenly a shadowy figure flying towards the group.
The group immediately ducks with the figure flying past over them. The group then gets up.
RICKY
What the heck was that?!
MIKEY
Up there!
The group looks up and see the figure flying in the sky. The figure reveals itself as a giant red stag beetle-like Digimon known as KUWAGAMON.
Kuwagamon ROARS while flying the skies.
RICKY
(scared)
Uh, dude? By any chance, did you bring a giant spray can or a bug zapper?
MIKEY
...No.
GUMDRAMON
It's a Kuwagamon!
SHOUTMON
Its scissor-like claws can cut through everything!
Kuwagamon spots the group and starts gliding down towards them.
RICKY
Here it comes!
Shoutmon and Gumdramon begin dashing toward Kuwagamon.
SHOUTMON
Not on our watch!
Kuwagamon proceeds to attack them with its claws. Shoutmon and Gumdramon avoid the claws.
Gumdramon hangs onto one of Kuwagamon's legs.
GUMDRAMON
Did your mommy ever tell you to never run with scissors?
Gumdramon uses his tail to hit Kuwagamon in the abdomen.
Kuwagamon ROARS and lowers its defense, leaving an opening for Shoutmon.
Shoutmon leaps in the air and kicks Kuwagamon in the face which knocks it down to the ground.
Shoutmon and Gumdramon land near Mikey and Ricky.
MIKEY
Did it work?
The group watches Kuwagamon on the ground with a pause. After a moment, Kuwagamon gets up from the ground and acts furious with another ROAR.
SHOUTMON
Man, that thing is starting to bug us.
MIKEY
I don't understand! Why is it angry?!
Kuwagamon angrily flies towards the group.
Shoutmon runs to Kuwagamon while wielding his staff.
Kuwagamon opens its claws just as Shoutmon leaps towards its face.
As the claws are about to cut Shoutmon, Shoutmon quickly uses his staff to jam the claws from cutting.
Kuwagamon slows down its flying and wingspan.
SHOUTMON
That oughta hold ya!
Kuwagamon roars while Shoutmon struggles to hold the claws open.
MIKEY
Shoutmon, find its weak spot!
SHOUTMON
(tense)
I'm trying! ...Huh?
Shoutmon then notices something round and unusual stuck on Kuwagamon's back under its wingspan.
MIKEY (O.S.)
Shoutmon?!
SHOUTMON
I see something on its back!
GUMDRAMON
That must be its weak spot.
MIKEY
Go for the back!
SHOUTMON
(tense)
I'll...try!
Shoutmon uses his staff to launch himself and his staff out of the grip and into the air.
Kuwagamon then angrily flies up after Shoutmon.
MIKEY
Shoutmon, watch its claws!
Kuwagamon opens its claws yet again.
Shoutmon then conjures up a fireball.
SHOUTMON
(I gotta aim carefully...)
Kuwagamon flies closer with the object on its back appearing for a clear shot.
SHOUTMON
(Target locked!)
Kuwagamon proceeds to attack.
SHOUTMON
Fiery Fastball!
(throws fireball)
The fireball hits the object on Kuwagamon's back which bursts into flames.
Kuwagamon falls and crashes to the ground which removes the object from its back.
Shoutmon lands near the group.
RICKY
Dude, that was great!
MIKEY
Who knew you would find the enemy's weakness that easy.
Shoutmon finds the object nearby.
MIKEY
Shoutmon?
Shoutmon runs toward it.
MIKEY
Hey, where are you going?
The group follows Shoutmon.
The group stops and find the damaged object on the ground in the front of them. The object appears to be a gear.
MIKEY
What's wrong?
SHOUTMON
I found this object stuck onto that Digimon's back.
GUMDRAMON
What is it?
MIKEY
It looks like a...gear.
RICKY
So...the bug was an animatronic, then?
The others glare at Ricky.
RICKY
What?
Kuwagamon gets up from the ground.
The group turns around and become surprised. Shoutmon and Gumdramon get into fighting positions.
Kuwagamon stands and blankly stares at the group for a moment.
After a moment, Kuwagamon responds by flying off and exiting scene.
MIKEY
It's...calm now? I don't get it.
SHOUTMON
It may had something to do with this gear.
MIKEY
Wait, are you telling us that the gear caused that Kuwagamon to go crazy?
SHOUTMON
I believe so.
GUMDRAMON
So...it's like a mind control device.
SHOUTMON
Exactly.
RICKY
Okay, now this island is getting weirder.
SFX: HORSE WHINNIES
Suddenly, the group hears another sound.
MIKEY
Now what?
A winged horse-like Digimon known as UNIMON appears in the sky and aims for the group.
GUMDRAMON
Another Digimon?!
Shoutmon notices a gear stuck on its back.
SHOUTMON
It has the same type of gear like Kuwagamon!
UNIMON
Aerial Attack!
(fires energy attack from its mouth)
The group avoids the attack.
?
Roaring Flame!
A swarm of fireballs suddenly hurdle nearby from behind.
RICKY
Whoa!
The group duck and avoid the swarm. The fireballs hit and burn any tree nearby.
A Digimon whose body shrouded in flames known as MERAMON enters scene.
MIKEY
A Meramon!
There is a gear stuck onto his chest.
GUMDRAMON (O.S.)
He has one too?!
Meramon charges his fists with flames.
The Numemon, from earlier, suddenly appear and arebeing chased by a giant yellow teddy bear-like Digimon known as MONZAEMON.
SHOUTMON
It's a Monzaemon!
RICKY
Dude, that's one big teddy bear!
Monzaemon has a gear near its stomach.
RICKY
(annoyed)
Why are we not surprised?
MIKEY
There's too many of them! We can't rid of all these gears at once!
Unimon starts gliding at the group.
Mikey reacts by pulling out his Fusion Loader.
Until, a figure emerges from the shadows and whacks Unimon off its path.
SHOUTMON
What was that?!
The figure reveals itself as a green ogre-like Digimon with a club known as OGREMON.
OGREMON
Thought you would get away from me this easy, eh?
MIKEY
Huh?
Ogremon notices the group.
OGREMON
What?! More humans?!
Meramon throws more fireballs towards the group.
Ogremon senses the fireballs.
OGREMON
Get down!
(pushes the group down)
The maneuver evades the attack.
RICKY
What was that for?!
Ogremon dashes over to Meramon while Ricky looks confused.
OGREMON
Pummel Whack!
(fires dark energy from fist)
The attack hits and knocks Meramon down.
The group stands up confused and examine Ogremon.
Ogremon turns to the group.
OGREMON
What are you looking at?! Get out! It's dangerous here!
GUMDRAMON
You mean, you're not gonna hurt us?
OGREMON
Does it look like I wanna hurt ya?!
Shoutmon sees no gear on Ogremon's skin.
SHOUTMON
(There's no gear on this guy. Could this Digimon be on our side?)
MONZAEMON
Hearts Attack!
(fires hearts from stomach)
OGREMON
We gotta move now! Follow me!
(runs off)
Shoutmon starts following Ogremon.
MIKEY
Shoutmon, wait! How can we-?
SHOUTMON
There's no time for another choice! We have to trust this guy!
MIKEY
...Okay.
The rest of the group follow Ogremon and exit the jungle as they outrun the swarm of hearts.
DISSOLVE TO:
EXT. FILE ISLAND - ANCIENT DINO REGION - DAY
We see Ogremon stopping near an ancient ruin entrance.
Ogremon turns and sees the group exhausted after catching up to him.
OGREMON
Man, you humans know how to outrun wild Digimon.
(beat)
Anyway, this is where you'll be staying for a while. Farewell and have...fun or something.
Ogremon is about to exit scene.
Mikey catches his breath.
MIKEY
Hold on a minute!
Ogremon stops.
MIKEY
We just want to say thank you for helping us out back there.
OGREMON
(impatient)
De nada. Now, if you excuse me-
GUMDRAMON
Don't go!
RICKY
Yeah, you can't just leave us out here like that!
OGREMON
Don't take this personally. I only did it because this island is dangerous and you humans shouldn't be here. You wouldn't even last a minute.
RICKY
(Boy, this Digimon's a grouch. Even without a gear on him.)
SHOUTMON
Look, buddy! All we ever got so far is unfriendly first impressions! We don't even know what's going on!
OGREMON
You mean...you don't know?
SHOUTMON
Well, duh! We're not even from around here!
OGREMON
Then...where did you come from?
MIKEY
We've traveled across time and space from another universe.
OGREMON
What? That's preposterous! There can't be more than just one Digital World.
RICKY
It's true. We're part of the seven Legendary Heroes!
OGREMON
Legendary Heroes?
(scoffs)
You two don't look heroic enough.
GUMDRAMON
Hey, show some respect! These two been through a lot!

OGREMON

(laughs hysterically)
Shoutmon looks insulted.
Ogremon continues laughing while kneeling and pounding his fist on the ground.
OGREMON
(laughs)
A pipsqueak like you ruling an entire Digital World?!
(sarcastic)
Oh, my apologizes, Your Majesty. How rude of me. Please allow me to bow and kiss your feet in return.
(resumes laughing)
The others look insulted.

What is causing the disturbance out here?
A centaur-like Digimon known as CENTARUMON appears out of the ruins entrance.
CENTARUMON
Ogremon, what is the meaning of this and who are these humans?
OGREMON
(laughs)
Oh, Centarumon. Get this. These two said they're Legendary Heroes from another universe. And this little guy...
(snickers)
...says he's a King!
(burst out laughing)
Centarumon turns to the group.
CENTARUMON
Is this true?
Mikey and Ricky take out and show Centarumon their Fusion Loaders.
Centarumon GASPS.
CENTARUMON
(Incredible. I have never seen Digivices like these.)
Centarumon walks over to the group and kneels before them.
Ogremon stops laughing and looks confused.
Mikey and Ricky smile with glee.
CENTARUMON
