Disclaimer: I don't own any of these characters. J.K. Rowling owns all.

A/N: I know I said that Harry would reveal his abuse in this chapter and he did, but the discussion between him and Draco will not happen until next chapter. I know, I'm horrible. I hope you enjoy this chapter. Review please.

Chapter 25

Draco knew he was being ridiculous. But he couldn't help it.

He was jealous of Harry and Severus' new relationship.

It wasn't like that kind of relationship, or at least Draco was pretty sure. But it was a new and close one, and they were keeping secrets from Draco.

Draco knew all about secrets. He knew about the silly ones, the ones that were secrets only because you wanted them to be, not out of real necessity. He also knew about the ones you kept as a necessity, in order to survive. Secrets like those were the ones about his father's treatment, and now about his and Dumbledore's secret meetings, the beginning of his spy training. Those were important secrets.

And in addition to knowing about secrets, Draco also knew a lot of the secrets.

Being a Slytherin, it was hard to keep secrets from him. He was sneaky, and sly, and persistent. He found out about secrets before they even were secrets. He was Draco Malfoy, of course he did. There were no secrets in Draco's life unless he was the who was keeping them.

Until now.

The thing that bother him the most, besides the whole fact that his boyfriend was keeping a secret with his godfather from him, was that he knew there was a secret. His godfather and Harry weren't exactly subtle about it, sharing looks and whispered conversations that stopped when Draco came closer. He just couldn't figure out what it was. And he needed to, before classes started again and he had to focus on something else other than this bloody annoying secret.

He was going to find out what this secret was.

"Have you told him yet?" Snape asked. Harry kept his head tilted forward and stayed silent. He knew he had to tell Draco, but he couldn't figure out the right way to bring it up. It wasn't exactly something you just announced in the middle of breakfast. "Harry, you have to tell him."

"Why?" Harry asked, though he knew the answer.

"Because I am tired off applying the salve to your scrawny back when there is someone else who could be doing it," Snape said. Harry was pleased to realize that he knew when the man was joking.

"Please Professor, we all know that you enjoy this," He said, glancing over his shoulder and smirking at the man. Snape raised his clean hand and smacked Harry playfully, gently, unlike the other cuffs Harry had ever gotten, on the back of his head.

"Shut it twit, or you'll find that the next time you use this salve it has been replaced with itch cream." He threatened. Harry wiggled uncomfortably at the thought while Snape continued. "And while we are in my private headquarters, there is no need for you to address me as Professor."

Harry froze, wondering exactly what he was supposed to call the man. Calling him by his last name out loud seemed disrespectful, especially after all he had done for him.

"You may call me Severus," Snape, no Severus, continued on softly. Harry glanced back and realized that Snape was almost saying it shyly, as if he expected Harry to refuse his offer.

"Thanks, Severus," He said, his lips twitching. Severus lips tilted, not quite a smile but almost, and came around to the front of Harry.

"You still, however, have to tell Draco," Severus continued. Harry harrumphed, fully aware that he was pouting.

"How do I do it?" He asked, looking up into Severus' obsidian eyes. "How do I just…bring it up?"

"I don't know," Severus said, shrugging and moving away from Harry.

"Thanks," Harry said dryly. Severus smirked at him. "Are you done with my back?"

"Yes," Severus said, disappearing into his potions supply closet. Harry slid off of the table he was sitting on and looked around for his shirt. He had been certain that he had put it right by the table, but it was not there. He wandered towards the couch, putting his back away from the door right as Draco opened it.

Draco stormed into the room and stopped up short when he saw that Harry was in here. He had come in, expecting to find Severus, and demand to know the secret.

Yes, it wasn't a very Slytherin way of going about it, but it was bugging him and had two more days before break was over.

"Draco!" Harry cried in surprise. He was shirtless, Draco noted with irritation. Why would he be shirtless? Unless…

Unless he really was in a romantic type of relationship with Severus and had been cheating on Draco this whole time.

"What are you doing here?" Harry asked. Draco snorted.

"I came to confront Severus about the secret you two were keeping," Draco said, scoffing dryly. "But it looks like I found out what it was after all, didn't I?"

"You did?" Harry asked, looking scared and glancing over his shoulder. Probably for Severus.

"You're shirtless in his private quarters, it doesn't exactly take a Ravenclaw," Draco said. "I can't believe you did this to me! With my godfather, of all people!"

"I didn't do anything!" Harry protested, his green eyes crackling angrily.

"Didn't do anything! You're shagging my godfather! My godfather!" Draco shouted.

"What?" Harry asked, his green eyes wide, all anger gone from his face.

"You were cheating on me!" Draco accused, going closer. Harry crossed his arms over his scrawny chest protectively. "You despicable, horrible person! I thought you were good!"

"I'm not cheating on you!" Harry yelled back. "You're such a goddamn idiot!"

"I'm an idiot?" Draco shouted. "If I'm an idiot, then you're a git! A cheating git!"

"I wasn't cheating on you!" Harry shouted.

"Then what were you doing?" Draco asked loudly. Harry took a deep breath as Draco waited angrily for his answer, and then he turned around.

So in the end it was a secret that was a necessity, Draco noted with an aching heart.
