Cindy's P.O.V.
"Luke are you crazy!?" I yelled, shaking him back and forth. He sighed.
"I'll be fine!''
"That's my father or have you forgotten!?"
"How could I?" He rolled his eyes like it was nothing. Well news flash, it isn't! I punched him softly in the arm for being a baka like always.
"Ow." He said. I could tell form his tone he was being sarcastic. I scowled and glared.
"I'm being serious, if the challege becomes a fight he could-! I'll just use water magic!" He cut me off. I guess that's a good solution, but his magic doesn't compare to that of my dad!
"At best your water magic will buy you 5 extra minutes of life." He chuckled and patted my head.
"Cindy-chan, you're such a little worry wart." He had a warm smile on his face. I grumbled. "I just don't wanna see you end up in the clinic for 5 months..." Luke bent down to my height and pinched my cheek.
"Daaw, just admit you care about me!" He said in a baby voice.
"Of courseh I care but we aresh best friendsch after all!" I struggled helplessy out of his grip. He let go eventually. I rubbed my reddening cheek.
"You're an idiot, you know that?" I sighed. He shook his head.
"This idiot is your best friend." He stated Matter'o'factly. I giggled a little.
"Yeah...best friend." I did wonder sometimes though. What if I told him I had a crush on him for 2 years when I was 10? I bet he'd just laugh and tease me, saying I couldn't resist his 'smexy' self urg...he's such a guy! Wait that wasn't a good comparison...uhhh..Hentai! Yeah such a Hentai...
"Well, since mom and dad are back I'm going to their house tonight, so don't come bursting in my window at 4 A.M. and report a missing person ok?" I asked.
"Oh one time that happens and suddenly I'm the bad guy!"
"Good night!" I called out, waving. He's gotta be pretty brave to take on Natsu though.
Luke's P.O.V.
FOR THE LOVE OF FAIRY TAIL I'M GONNA DIE! Why did I accept that!? Why did I let my jealousy take over!? Everything she said is right! He'll probably fight me! He'll probably kill me! If he let's me live, it'll be barely! I'll have to eat blender food for months! And I'll probably forget about her being in a different house! I'll probably call them! And then Ame will tease me about being scared for my girlfriend! And everything in between! Oh what the hell...better to go out like a man than a wimp. I wobbled home, dragging my feet behind me. After arguing with my mom and Ame over why I was at the guild so long, I went to bed, having nightmares of my death.
The next day
I walked into the guild groggily. I couldn't sleep at all.
"Nyan, Lu-san what do you think the challenge is?" Tora asked me. I shrugged.
"Probably a fight...anything he's good at." I shivered a little, the nightmares playing back in my head. My exceed shook his head.
"It'll be ok,least Cindy-chan and me will vist!'' He grinned.
"Like that makes me feel better..." I sweatdropped. We walked in through the doors. The first sight I saw was my dad and Natsu fighting, of course. I sighed, but then thought he wouldn't notice me. My eyes caught Cindy near by cheering on her dad, so I headed straight to her.
"Moshi, Moshi!" I smiled to her.
"Hey Lu-kun! You know, you're lucky my dad's fighting.'' She told me.
"I guess." I shrugged, then I felt myself be picked up from the ground. See? Kids this is why you don't say things like 'It couldn't get worse than this!'.
''Shrimpy! Ya showed up!" He grinned, showing his sharp 'dragon' teeth.
"Hey there Natsu-sama." I said, trying to have confidence in my voice. He chuckled a little darkly.
"So? Ready for the contest?" He asked. I gulped and nodded.
''Good...cause it's a quiz!" He told me. I blinked.
"About?"
"About my dear daughter of course!" He said irratated, as if I was supposed to know that! Cindy didn't seem to happy about it though. Her eyes were wide.
"And when did I agree to this!? Let me guess I'm the prize too!?" She laughed.
"My little girl is so smart~!" He cooed, like a loving father.
"Wait! You're for real!? It was a joke!" She screeched.
Mira came over and patted Cindy's head as did her mom.
"Awww! Don't be like that Cindy-chan!" Mira pouted.
"Yeah, come on, if you're Daddy wins then we all get to stay together for the week!" She said.
"And if he looses...?" She raised a brow, somehow I think she knew the answer.
"I won't lose!" He scoffed.
"IF! He looses, you'll be staying with Luke for the whole week, WHICH I STILL DISAGREE TOO!" She yelled at her pink haired husband. I bet he only said that since he's so sure he'll win.
"Don't worry, the Shrimp won't win." Natsu reassured.
"Uhhh...Lucy-sama I wouldn't try anything if that's what you're worried about..." I said sheepishly, it was true of course. I didn't have the guts too anyway.
"Mom he really wouldn't." Cindy sighed. Her mom was like her father, only differece was she wouldn't try to kill me. Lucy just nodded.
"Well...let us begin!" Mira declared.
"There shall be 10 questions! Who ever answers the most right wins!" She yelled.
I sat down at a table, the rest of the guild surrounding both me and Natsu.
"Ok so...What is Cindy a nickname for?"
"Cinder!" I yelled out.
"Correct!" She pointed at me. "Point Luke!"
I had a feeling I just might win this.
I DON'T WANNA BORE YA AND FRANKLY I CAN'T THINK OF QUESTIONS! NUMBER 10~! 4 ON 4 SINCE NUMBER...Uhhh...7 WAS A TIE!
"Last question...''
I kept glaring at Natsu, as he glared back.
"What is Cindy thinking of...right now?'' I blinked.
"Like right now? Right now!?" I shouted.
"Yes, I thought I made that clear." She looked at me.
"I don't know! Me calling 911 at like 4 A.M.!?" I asked. She shook her head.
"Honestly, I thought you were best friends!"
Natsu smirked, looking at his daughter.
"She's thinking about Dragons, and how we can't find them anymore."
"Yep! Natsu Dragneel wins!" She held up his arm. The guild roared out in victory, except for my dad he looked sad at me, but gave Natsu a pat on the back. I still couldn't believe it...I lost to HIM!

Me: Why thank you, I try my best ;3 *tips top hat* But this took me like 2 MONTHS TO FINISH! All my brother's fault he got a virus on this T-T But well...I did it xD Apparently I'm not dead!
