When the disintegration is over I open my eyes. The Twilight Realm is beautiful and I take minute to take a breath. It's beautiful, just as Midna showed me. I take a step forward and Midna pops out and says, "Fang, can I ask one more selfish favor." I nod and she continues, "Would you mind if while you're in human form I stay in your shadow? My people were expecting a noble beast to save them, think of how disappointed they'd be if they saw an imp." I nod and she dips into my shadow. I take a step forward to find that there are shadow beasts ahead. Once again Midna pops out and tells me not to harm them as they are the residents of the twilight realm. She also explains if I want to go forward I need to find what are called sols, which are like the sun for the realm of light. I head off to the right

After much exploring I come across what must be the sol. As I approach however bars come down between me and it. Then I hear evil laughter and turn to see a hologram of Zant. He lifts his hands above his head and forms a large red energy ball. I dodge it only to find out it was a portal and it releases a bunch of keyes. After destroying the keyes I wait for Zant to form another red ball and attacked him. After a few times of this he disappeared into a cloud of black which, from experience, turns me into a wolf. I run over to the sol and cut it out. Not wanting to find out what happens when I touch the black cloud I fly up to the door and leave. Once I get to where I came in I put the sol into a dent in the ground and Midna pops up again saying there should be a second one.

*Time skip*

I put the second sol into a dent in the ground next to the other sol and stand between them then the power of the sols infuse with my blade making it sparkle as Midna comes out and says the gods of her world must be on our side. I then walk up to the large center building and use a spin attack and head in. After the first few rooms I come across the boss key and head to the boss chamber going faster than I normally would. I then make it to the chamber before the boss room. After defeating wave after wave of shadow beasts I head into the boss chamber.

After climbing up the stairs I look at Zant, who says nothing. Midna then says, "So, here we are thanks to a curse YOU placed on Fang." Zant looks up and says, "You still think this was our dark power. This was the power of my god. Who helped me against a royal family who had resigned itself to a miserable half existence." He then describes how he came across this "god" and how it was the will of the being that led Zant to want to conquer the world of light. I then say, "How can you follow so blindly why would this deity be so willing to help you unless he had an ulterior motive." At this Zant snaps at me, "I'll teach you to mock MY GOD!" I ready for battle. And thing just get weirder from there.

*Time skip*

After multiple locations and multiple battles I find myself, Midna and Zant in front of Castletown. With the battlegrounds set we start to fight. He pulls out his swords out and we fight. At first he walk toward me just swinging his swords. I counter and manage to cut him up. After a while he spin attacks me and I use my own spin attack when he tires. Finally he just goes completely crazy which makes it completely awesome when I defeat him.

I then find we've somehow gotten back into the throne room and Midna collects the stolen fused shadow. A flash of light and I look, hoping the curse on her had been lifted, it hadn't. Zant speaks up, "That curse is from a different magic, you won't be able to break it." We look up at him as he continues, "My master has already descended and is in your castle." At this we look horrified especially since that means Max was put into danger because I was stupid. At my reaction, and the fact that she hadn't returned to normal, Midna became quickly angry and shot her hair(?) at him and, after him freaking out in pain, burst like a balloon. Her hair retracted and she freaked saying, "I did that only using a fraction of the power inside me." Then she put on a brave face saying, "Now we know the truth behind the barrier at the castle, with Ganondorf in there Max is in grave danger. Let's go, I must return what she gave to me." I nod and we head out.

Once at the castle Midna pulls out the fused shadow and puts it on. After a bit she transforms into a giant beast and breaks the barrier. Just as she falls a run in to catch her and we both look up at the castle looming in the distance. I go to go into the castle where I get the final hidden skill. When I learned it the Hero's Shade transforms into a ghost of a man wearing the same tunic as me the cool thing is he looks like an older version of me except with an eye patch . He then smiles and says, "In life I couldn't teach these skills to anyone, when I died I couldn't accept death until I passed on these skills." He embraces me and as he fades I hear, "Go forth and do not falter my child." I smile and go into the castle courtyard.

Me: the thing I didn't mention was he did stop at Thelma's and together made a plan to meet at the castle. See you next time!
