BULBMON angrily positioned itself to fire its arms. RAIDRAMON stops running as DAVIS, RICKY, GUMDRAMON and BETSUMON got off.
BETSUMON:
Oh, by the way. *holds up RICKY's Fusion Loader* You dropped this.
RICKY receives his Fusion Loader.
RICKY:
Thanks. *to GUMDRAMON* You ready?
GUMDRAMON nods. RAIDRAMON reverts back to VEEMON.
VEEMON:
What's the plan now, Davis?
DAVIS:
*holds out D-3* We're going to melt it down to size!
VEEMON:
I'm all over it!
DAVIS:
Digi-Armor Energize!
VEEMON:
Veemon armor-digivolve to...*fuses with the Digi-Egg of Courage*
FLAMEDRAMON:

GUMDRAMON:

ARRESTERDRAMON:

FLAMEDRAMON and ARRESTERDRAMON run to BULBMON. BULBMON fires its arms.
ARRETSERDRAMON:
Spiral Shredder! *rotates in high speed*
ARRESTERDRAMON spiral slices the arm into pieces. FLAMEDRAMON jumps onto the other arm.
DAVIS:
Good thinking, Flamedramon!
FLAMEDRAMON:
Time to shift this arm into gear.
BULBMON aims and fires more missiles at FLAMEDRAMON.
FLAMEDRAMON:
Flame Fist! *shoots fire from fist*
The attack hits the missiles. One remaining flies towards FLAMEDRAMON.
FLAMEDRAMON:
I'll give it a little boost.
FLAMEDRAMON guides the arm higher with the missile following it. HIGH ANGLE SHOT of FLAMEDRAMON guiding higher till he reaches the clouds. FLAMEDRAMON jumps off the arm as the missile hits and destroys it. FLAMEDRAMON dives towards the camera.
FLAMEDRAMON:
Feel the burn!
FLAMEDRAMON dives faster and surrounds himself in an aura of flames.
DAVIS:
Finish it off!
FLAMEDRAMON:
Fire Rocket!
The fiery FLAMEDRAMON speeds down and burns through in and out of BULBMON's entire body. FLAMEDRAMON lands near DAVIS. The damaged BULBMON started to lose balance. BETSUMON simply walks to BULBMON. CUT-IN SHOT of BETSUMON lightly touches BULBMON. BULBMON falls over and collapses into pieces. ARRESTERDRAMON reverts to GUMDRAMON. FLAMEDRAMON reverts to VEEMON.
DAVIS:
Whoo! Veemon, you rock!
VEEMON:
No, you rock Davis!
DAVIS:
Another victory for the D.V. team!
DAVIS and VEEMON gave each other a high-five. RICKY walks over to BETSUMON.
BETSUMON:
Ricky, I'm sorry about causing all this trouble.
RICKY:
It's okay. The important thing is that you found Davis. I've could've done better myself.
BETSUMON smiles.
DAVIS:
You were great out there, buddy.
RICKY:
Thanks. *shakes DAVIS' hand* You don't know how hard it was to find you.
VEEMON:
*slautes* All in a day's work, citizen. Glad you needed our heroic assistance.
GUMDRAMON:

DAVIS:
Oh, that's easy. *strikes a pose* When Veemon and I see trouble a'brewing...

RICKY and GUMDRAMON had blank expressions for a moment.
RICKY:

DAVIS:
So, what brings you two out here? Don't you hang with that Mikey kid or something?
RICKY:

DAVIS:

RICKY:
Well...it's just that...every time I try to help or do something cool, I always get humiliated. At the basketball game, my face hits the ground every time my teammates pass me the ball.
VEEMON:

RICKY:
I even had a strategy to fight a certain Digimon but the others manage to defeat it! They even call me "stubborn" for crying out loud! Don't you understand how embarrassing that word is to me?!
DAVIS and VEEMON look at each other. VEEMON was about to speak.
RICKY:
Exactly! *turns away*
DAVIS walks up to RiCKY.
DAVIS:
Hey, dude. *puts hand on RICKY's shoulder* Don't get down on yourself. You're not the only one with problems. You should listen how I put up with everyday.
BEGIN FLASHBACK/MONTAGE
INT. MOTOMIYA APARTMENT - BATHROOM
A silhouette of DAVIS was taking a shower behind the curtain. DAVIS was singing off-key with a lofa for a microphone. DEMIVEEMON (Veemon's In-Training form) was playing with a bar of soap. The soap slips out of DEMIVEEMON's hands and hits down the flush valve.
FX - *toilet flush*
The shower water became hotter and the silhouette of DAVIS screams in pain.
INT. ODAIBA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL - HALLWAY
DAVIS struggles to pull open his locker. KARI KAMIYA passes by DAVIS. DAVIS tries to greet her but the locker door opens and hits DAVIS down. A pile of books fall from the locker and land on DAVIS.
EXT. ODAIBA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL - FIELD
DAVIS and his soccer team were playing in a soccer game. DAVIS tries to score a goal. But, the ball hits off the metal pole of the goal. The crowd (including his friends) were watching from the bleachers. The ball heads towards the camera. The ball hits DAVIS off-screen.
CROWD:
*surprised* Oh!
DAVIS holds down to the ground in pain and tries to give an "okay" hand sign.
END FLASHBACK
EXT. GRASSY FIELD
RICKY and GUMDRAMON's eyes were wide.
RICKY:
Okay, that last part sounded pretty disturbing.
VEEMON:
Don't remind him.
DAVIS:
Anyway, when my friends and I heard about this time-and-space thingy, Veemon and I wanted to prove ourselves worthy. So, we decide to go on a heroic journey and did some training.
VEEMON:
And by training, we mean kicking serious butt!
GUMDRAMON:
Don't you miss your friends?
DAVIS:
*pauses; ponders* Um...I'm sure they're doing okay by themselves. (Although, I worry about Kari's safety sometimes.)
VEEMON:
I sometimes feel a little lonely with Wormmon not around. We usually D.N.A. Digivolve to Imperialdramon, but my other Digivolutions seem to improve well during our training.
RICKY:
I don't know-
DAVIS:
Look, kid, if you're serious about your problem, tag along with me and Veemon. We'll give you all the support you need.
RICKY:
...Really?
VEEMON:
Of course! You have been looking for us.
DAVIS:
Trust us. Together, we'll become great heroes!
RICKY:
...Okay!
ALL:
Yeah!
RICKY, DAVIS, VEEMON and GUMDRAMON run off into the fields.
RICKY:

GUMDRAMON:

RICKY:
Sorry, I think adding a "G" would make the acronym sound weird.
GUMDRAMON:
*groans*
Camera zooms OUT to reveal the location being watched through a crystal.
EXT. DARK DIMENSIONAL SPACE AREA
The dark silhouette was watching the crystal.

Those foolish boys don't know what they're expecting. My commander will wipe them out...instantly.
Scene CUTS to:
EXT. DIGTAL COMPUTER GRID AREA
CALUMON was walking on the grid floor and looks around the area. CALUMON's POV SHOT of the sky filled with scattering binary code.
CALUMON:
Where...am I?
CALUMON tries to look further at the distance.
CALUMON:
This place looks...kinda scary...and quiet.
CALUMON lies on the floor and his ears shrink.
CALUMON:
(Oh, what's the point? I'm all alone and there's no one here to play with me. I guess I'm going to live the rest of my life here.)
A shadow was approaching behind CALUMON.
CALUMON:
Hmm?
CALUMON turns around and the shadow disappears.
CALUMON:
Must be my imagination.
The shadow was sneaking up at another direction. CALUMON turns to that direction and the shadow vanished.
CALUMON:
Hello...?
CALUMON stands up and looks around.
CALUMON:
Are you here to play "hide-and-seek" with me?
No answer.
CALUMON:
...If you are, I'll count to ten and find you.
No answer.
CALUMON:
Okay, I'll start counting. *turns back; covers eyes with ears* 1...2...
The shadow appears and starts to sneak up on CALUMON.
CALUMON:
(off-screen) 3...4...5...
The shadow emerges and it reveals itself as a PORCUPAMON.
CALUMON:
(off-screen) 6..7...
PORCUPAMON raises its arms for attack.
CALUMON:
8...9...
Suddenly, a flash of light dashes in between CALUMON and PORCUPAMON.
CALUMON:
10! *turns around* Ready or not, here I...come?
Camera pulls away to reveal CALUMON as protected by a mini white dragon Digimon against PORCUPAMON's attack.
CALUMON:
Hey, I found you!
?:
Hide somewhere safe!
CALUMON:
*chuckles* Okay!
CALUMON happily runs off to hide.
CALUMON:
No peeking!
The Digimon gets into a fighting position at PORCUPAMON. PORCUPAMON fires its razor spikes. The Digimon then dashes to avoid each spike and bites onto it. The PORCUPAMON whacks the Digimon off. The Digimon gets up while PORCUPAMON runs to it.

Don't make me use these. *shows claws*
PORCUPAMON:
*growls*
The Digimon and PORCUPAMON run to each other. The Digimon uses its claws to slice off one of PORCUPAMON's arms. PORCUPAMON tries to reach for its severed arm. The Digimon then spins his tail and drills into PORCUPAMON's stomach. The Digimon use sits strength to toss PORCUPAMON into the air.

Take this! *breathes a fire ball*
The fireball hits PORCUPAMON and explodes into pieces. The Digimon stands bold and watches the remains of its fallen opponent. It turns around and looks around.

Little Digimon?
No answer.
?:
Where have you hidden?
No answer.

CALUMON suddenly pops out under the Digimon's scarf.
CALUMON:
Surprise! I win!
?:
Ah!
The Digimon shakes CALUMON off.
?:
How in the world did you hide in my scarf?!
CALUMON:
Oh, I couldn't find a place to hide; so I thought up hiding somewhere least expected: behind your back.
?:
That figures. *walks off*
CALUMON:
Hey, where you're going? *follows the Digimon*
The Digimon turns around and sees nothing behind him.
?:
Hmm.
As the Digimon turns, CALUMON appears in front of him.
CALUMON:
Hello!
?:
Ah! Please don't do that. *continues to walk off pass CALUMON*
CALUMON follows the Digimon. The Digimon tries to walk faster and CALUMON walks faster as well. The Digimon tries to speed away. CALUMON jumps and flies after the Digimon. CALUMON flew over and lands on the Digimon's head.
CALUMON:
Whee! *waves arms*
?:
Hey, get off my head!
CALUMON grabs on its ears while the Digimon jumps around like a bull. CALUMON pulls the ears and flips the Digimon down. The Digimon was dizzy while CALUMON landed beside it.
CALUMON:
*giggles* That was fun! Can we do it again?
?:
*gets up* Why do you keep following me?
CALUMON:
Because I wanna play with you!
?:
Look, I don't have time to "play". *walks off again* I have things to do right now.
CALUMON:
What kind of things? Does it involve games?
?:
*annoyed* It's none of your concern. Just go back where you came from.
CALUMON:
But, I don't know where to go.
?:
Don't you live around here?
CALUMON:
No, I got separated from my friends and don't know how to get home. I'll probably be trapped here forever.

*stops* ...*sighs; annoyed* All right. You can come along.
CALUMON:
Yay! *flies to the Digimon; hugs it* You're the friendliest Digimon I've ever met!

(I have to admit he does look kinda cute for a little guy.)
CALUMON:
*climbs on its back* I'm Calumon. What's your name?

CALUMON:
That's a weird name. What are we going to do first?
HACKMON and CALUMON start to head off.
HACKMON:
You are going stay by my side till I find a safe place for you.
CALUMON:

HACKMON:
I am on an important mission. A mission that will fulfill my destiny as the Digimon I wanted to be.
CALUMON:
That doesn't sound like a game to me.
HACKMON:
You'll know soon enough.
EXT. ROCKY VALLEY
CHRIS, RYO and CYBERDRAMON were travelling through the area. CHRIS has an usual expression on his face.
RYO:
What's up, Chris?
CHRIS:
...Nothing.
RYO:
Are you sure? You've been acting this way ever since we decided to tag along.
CHRIS:
I don't know. It's just...I usually handle things alone. But, travelling here with you makes me feel different.
RYO:
Sounds like you're having trouble getting used to having a teammate.
CHRIS:
How did you ever get past your loneliness?
RYO:
Cyberdramon and I once had this journey into the Digital World back in our universe where we met some nice friends. They treat me like a celebrity sometimes and always ask me questions about anything Digimon-related.
CHRIS:
Sounds pretty annoying if you ask me.
RYO:
Are you kidding? My friends wouldn't make it out of the Digital World alive without me. Of course, it beats wasting my time keeping Cyberdramon under control.
CYBERDRAMON stops walking and starts growling.
RYO:
Oh, I didn't mean it too seriously. ...Cyberdramon?
CYBERDRAMON starts running off.
CHRIS:
Hey, where's he going?
RYO:
Cyberdramon!
CHRIS and RYO follow him. CYBERDRAMON was ahead while CHRIS and RYO try to keep up.
RYO:
Slow down!
CHRIS:
What is this, a marathon?!
CYBERDRAMON stops behind a big rock as CHRIS and RYO caught up.
RYO:
Cyberdramon, what's your problem?!
CYBERDRAMON was focused on something off-screen.
RYO:
Cyberdram-!
CYBERDRAMON:
*growls* Quiet! There's a Digimon here.
RYO:
What?
CHRIS and RYO took a peak aside from the rock. Camera pans RIGHT to a giant skeletal Digimon nearby.
CHRIS:
Wow, he's not kidding.
RYO:
*takes out D-Power* Hang on.
RYO's D-Power displays an image and data on the Digimon.
RYO:
(off-screen) SkullSatamon. A Ghost type Digimon. Ultimate level. His Nail Bone attack can easily wipe out his enemies instantly.
CHRIS:
He looks too big to be an Ultimate...
CHRIS' POV SHOT of SKULLSATAMON having his attention turned away from the rock.
CHRIS:
(off-screen) Yet, he doesn't even know we're behind him.
RYO:
I think he has his eyes on something else.
Camera slightly moves to the RIGHT near SKULLSATAMON revealing a figure appearing to be a human boy laying on the ground.
CHRIS:
Is that...a human?
RYO:
Looks like that guy's in trouble.
CYBERDRAMON:
*growls loudly* I don't care! I wanna rip its face off NOW! *runs off from the rock*
RYO:
Cyberdramon, wait!
SKULLSATAMON turns to CYBERDRAMON charging towards him. CYBERDRAMON immediately punches SKULLSATAMON to another rock.
SKULLSATAMON:
Who did that?!
CYBERDRAMON was growling in a fighting pose.
SKULLSATAMON:
How dare you interrupt my secret mission!
CYBERDRAMON leaps and tries to kick him. SKULLSATAMON blocks each punch and kick with his staff.
RYO:
(off-screen) Cyberdramon, stop!
CHRIS and RYO enter scene.
SKULLSATAMON:
What?! More humans?!
CHRIS:
What are you doing with that guy?
SKULLSATAMON:
It's none of your business.
CHRIS:
Are you working for the unknown threat?
SKULLSATAMON:
I have no idea what you're talking about. I only have been travelling far from the boundaries of time and space to find his boy. He holds something that we've been searching for ages.
RYO:
What do you mean "hold something"?
SKULLSATAMON uses his staff to open a portal to an unknown area.
CHRIS:
What's he doing?!
RYO:
Cyberdramon, stop him!
CYBERDRAMON:
*powers energy wave from claws* Desolation Claw! *fire energy*
SKULLSATAMON swifts to avoid the wave and powers his staff.
SKULLSATAMON:
Nail Bone! *fires blast from staff*
The blast hits CYBERDRAMON down and reverts into a small, purple dragon.
RYO:
No...
CHRIS:
What happened to Cyberdramon?
RYO:
He reverted back into his Rookie form, Monodramon!
CHRIS:
Monodramon?
SKULLSATAMON: What's the matter? Did your big, strong dinosaur lost all of his power? *laughs*
CHRIS: *takes out his Fusion Loader* That's it! Now, it's my turn!
SKULLSATAMON quickly fires his Nail Bone attack near CHRIS' feet. CHRIS fell from the blast.
SKULLSATAMON:
Too slow, human.
A silky thread suddenly appears in the background and pulls the unconscious human away from SKULLSATAMON.
SKULLSATAMON:
I wish I could stay and chat. But, I have a mission to complete *turns around* and-
SKULLSATAMON notices the human missing.
SKULLSATAMON: What the?!
Camera pans LEFT to the reveal the silk thread coming from a worn-out, green familiar worm Digimon.
WORMMON: I won't let you...take him away!
SKULLSATAMON: You?! How could you still be alive?!
WORMMON: A Digimon never gives up on its partner!
CUT-IN SHOT of the portal starting to close.
SKULLSATAMON: The portal! You may have won this round, but I'll be back!
SKULLSATAMON flies inside the closing portal and it disappears. CHRIS gets up and wipes the dirt off.
CHRIS: Thanks.
WORMMON: Oh, no problem. I am Wormmon. *notices Ryo* Hmm?
RYO: What?
WORMMON: Have we...met before?
RYO: I'm...not sure. I'm Ryo Akiyama.
WORMMON: Ryo, eh? The name does have a ring somewhere.
LOW SHOT of the unconscious human waking up from the ground.
WORMMON: Oh, thank goodness. You're alive!
?: (off-screen) Where...am I?
CHRIS: We found you unconscious. You're lucky that you didn't suffer.
?: (off-screen) Oh, that's good.
RYO: *confused* Hey, you look...familiar. But, I can't put my metal arm on it.
CHRIS: Can you tell us your name?
Camera TILTS UP to a FULL BODY SHOT of a familiar character.
KEN: My name is...Ken Ichijouji.
Scene CUTS to:
EXT. ?
FULL SHOT of an area with a bleak atmosphere accompanied by a dark ocean. Camera pans RIGHT to a small throne where a mysterious figure was sitting on the top from the shadows. SKULLSATAMON was kneeling at the bottom of the throne.
?:
What do you mean you've lost him?!
SKULLSATAMON:
My apologies, my master. The boy's Digimon was too fast for me.
?: I didn't waste my time to revive you just to give me a wretched excuse!
SKULLSATAMON: I promise. I won't fail again.
?: Let's hope so. We must be one step ahead. We must become stronger.
Camera slightly pans LEFT to two other Digimon near the throne: a MARINEDEVIMON and LADYDEVIMON.
MARINEDEVIMON:
What about that boy you persuaded?
LADYDEVIMON:
And that small Digimon?
?:
I have no concern for both. Right now, Dark Spores are spawning within them through anger and jealousy. Their source of power will make great appetizers for us before devouring Ichijouji's spore.
SKULLSATAMON: We'll be invincible and take our revenge on the DigiDestined.
?: Still, we must collaborate before it's too late.
LADYDEVIMON: We're sensing that many allies from different universes are appearing.
?: What?! They must not interfere with our plans. Each of you cast out into each corner of the merging universes. If any of you find the boy, bring him to me!
SKULLSATAMON, MARINEDEVIMON and LADYDEVIMON open and travel through separate portals.
?: You can't hide from me, Ken Ichijouji. You will be mine!

EXT. ROCKY VALLEY
CHRIS:
Ken Ichijouji?
KEN:
*feels his head* Oh, my head.
WORMMON:
Ken?
KEN:
Wormmon, you're alright.
WORMMON:
Of course. I almost you back there.
KEN:
Lost me? What are you talking about?
WORMMON:
A SkullSatamon showed up and almost escaped with you.
RYO:
My Digimon tried to fight off that creep but...
Camera tilts down to MONODRAMON, still unconscious, on the ground.
RYO:
(off-screen) ...it was too strong for him.
KEN:
(off-screen) I'm sorry to hear that.
CHRIS:
Still, that Digimon was sure in a hurry.
RYO:
It said that you hold something that he's looking for.
KEN:
("Hold something". That's strange...yet familiar somehow.)
CHRIS:
Have you and your Digimon know what's going on right now?
KEN:
Huh? No, I mean yes, I mean- *gets head straight* Look, all I remember is that Wormmon and I got lost when our town got attacked.
WORMMON:
It seems you need some rest for that head of yours, Ken.
RYO:
He's probably right.
KEN:
Who or whatever is after me, must know something really important about me. If only Davis and the others are here, they would help me out of this.
CHRIS and RYO look concerned.
KEN:
(off-screen) Looks like Wormmon and I are on our own.
RYO:
I don't know. You might get into serious trouble, if you did. Maybe you should tag along with us.
CHRIS:
We'll help you take down that big of bones if he comes back.
KEN:

WORMMON:
*clings on KEN's leg* Oh, come on, Ken. It'll help us find our friends along the way.
KEN:
...*exhales* Fine.
CHRIS:
Name's Chris.
RYO:
I'm Ryo Aonuma.
KEN:
Nice to meet you guys.
MONODRAMON wakes up from the ground.
MONODRAMON:
Oh...hey, Ryo. Did I get him?
RYO:
No, sorry pal. He got away.
MONODRAMON:
Oh, well. At least, I'm glad I was here to save the day. * reaches out arms* Now, who wants a hug?
LOW ANGLE SHOT of CHRIS, RYO and KEN. CHRIS and KEN look confused while RYO was smiling.
KEN:

RYO:
He's fine.
CHRIS:
But why isn't he...growling and...acting calm all of a sudden?
RYO:
Oh, I forgot. When he's Monodramon, he's nothing but a harmless and playful pet.
CHRIS:
(Hmph. I like this Digimon already.)
WORMMON:
Come on, we need to get going.
The group starts to exit the area while MONODRAMON was still standing for a hug.
MONODRAMON:
Hey, where are you going? Do I at least still get a hug? *camera tilts UP to FULL SHOT of area* Guys? Hello?
