YOLEI:

PUPPETMON:
*moves to show them* You're in my playroom. Check it out.
Camera ZOOMS OUT to reveal location.
INT. DARK TV ROOM
PUPPETMON:
Sorry for the lack of lighting. I think it's a lot more fun when you're playing in the dark.
KEENAN:
Put us down, giant Digimon!
PUPPETMON:
Quit your complaining, little boy!
YOLEI:
Don't you dare insult Keenan like that!
PUPPETMON:
Hey, don't be rude in front of your new friend!
YOLEI:
I'm being rude?! Just what the heck do you want with us!?
PUPPETMON:
Oh, I'll explain if you behave yourself.
YOLEI angrily calms down.
PUPPETMON:
Thank you. You see, ever since I was defeated by those bratty DigiDestined, I wanted to have my revenge yet I still wanted to make friends and play with them. So, when the universes were merging, I decided to create the ultimate playtime trap for any DigiDestined that crosses this way. *shows them whole view of the model* It gave me perfect time to build this life-like scale forest model. Pretty creative, huh?
YOLEI:
Um...it's okay, I guess. But, how are we so small?!
KEENAN:
And why you big?
PUPPETMON:
First off, speak in complete sentences, kid. Second, I'm actually normal sized. During my spare time, I invented this out of leftover parts...*holds a out a odd-looking weapon* a shrinking gun.
YOLEI:
S-s-shrinking?
PUPPETMON:
Uh-huh. When my computer detected you coming to my area, I shrunk you down instantly as the portal started to open. You thought you ended up in an actual forest when you woke up minutes later.
KEENAN:
...I don't get it.
PUPPETMON:
And you never will! *evil laughs*
YOLEI:
You spoiled brat! Turn us back to normal size or I'll chop you into firewood!
PUPPETMON:
Oh, please. Do you know times I've heard that joke? Besides, you're not going anywhere! You're my playmates now! You're going to play my game whether you like it or not!
YOLEI:
Then, what happens if we don't?
PUPPETMON:
Then, I'll do this.
PUPPETMON uses his control bar to move up one of KEENAN's arm.
KEENAN:
What you doing?!
PUPPETMON controls KEENAN's arm to slap his face repeatedly.
KEENAN:
Ow! Ow! Ow! etc.
PUPPETMON:
Stop hitting yourself! Stop hitting yourself! Stop hitting yourself!
YOLEI:
Cut it out!
PUPPETMON:
Certainly...after this!
PUPPETMON uses his second control bar on YOLEI. He controls YOLEI's limbs as she starts dancing like a puppet.
YOLEI:
Hey! *tries to stop dancing* That's not funny!
PUPPETMON:
Dance, puppet, dance! Oh, what irony.
YOLEI:
Stop it!
YOLEI's limbs stopped moving. YOLEI sighs in relief. After a pause, one of her arms suddenly started moving up.
YOLEI:
What-?
YOLEI's controlled hand curled up a finger and slowly moves towards her face, aiming at her nose.
YOLEI:
Are you serious?!
PUPPETMON:
...Maybe.
YOLEI moves her head away. But, PUPPETMON controls her head still. YOLEI was scared with sweating under pressure. The finger was close to her nose.
YOLEI:
(That's so gross!)
PUPPETMON smirks in patience. YOLEI's finger almost digs into her nostril.
YOLEI:
...Okay, okay! We'll play with you! Just stop torturing us!
PUPPETMON:
Excellent. Enjoy the game...my little toys.
PUPPETMON drops them back into the forest model.
INT. LIFE-SIZED FOREST MODEL
YOLEI and KEENAN were falling back to their previous locations. HAWKMON flies up to catch YOLEI as FALCOMON did the same. Camera focuses on YOLEI and HAWKMON.
YOLEI:
Oh, Hawkmon! You'll never guess what happened.
HAWKMON:
I know. I heard everything up there.
YOLEI:
*disgusted with herself* I can't believe he almost picked my nose.
Camera switches to KEENAN and FALCOMON.
FALCOMON:
How are we going to escape this trap?
KEENAN:
I'm thinking!
PUPPETMON:
(off-screen) All right, now that were quite acquainted, I thought we would start by introducing you to your other playmates.
Camera switches to YOLEI and HAWKMON.
HAWKMON:
Other playmates?
YOLEI:
I hope they're not creepy as that Davis puppet.
PUPPETMON:
(off-screen) Hey, I worked really hard on it! Anyway, meet your playmates...Woodmon.
Camera briefly CUTS to WOODMON placing figurines on the model. YOLEI and HAWKMON turn around as a group of WOODMON appeared behind them.
PUPPETMON:
(off-screen) My old accomplice Cherrymon...
Camera switches to CHERRYMON leading the WOODMON group.
CHERRYMON:
*speaks like Marlon Brando* Youse better play nice or we'll do it the hard way. Capisce?
YOLEI and HAWKMON look nervous yet determined.
PUPPETMON:
(off-screen) Oh, I almost forgot...
Camera switches to KEENAN and FALCOMON.
PUPPETMON:
(off-screen) ...you seem to know him quite well.
PUPPETMON lowers down PARROTMON who is still damaged.
KEENAN:
Parrotmon?!
PUPPETMON:
(off-screen) That's right. Parrotmon is my favorite toy and you broke him!
KEENAN:
Your toy dangerous!
FALCOMON:
Lighten up, Keenan. He's still damaged. We can easily take him down.
KEENAN:
Yeah!
ANGLE on PUPPETMON taking out a small bottle from a drawer.
PUPPETMON:
Not for long...
PUPPETMON pours a strange liquid from the bottle over PARROTMON. The liquid starts building energy around him.
KEENAN:
What happening?!
PUPPETMON:
(off-screen) Oh, just a super-glue I made.
PARROTMON started digivolving.
PUPPETMON:
(off-screen) And by "super-glue", I mean an energy juice for any broken toy in need! *laughs*
PARROTMON digivolved into a golden eagle-like Digimon. KEENAN and FALCOMON were shocked upon remark.
PUPPETMON:
(off-screen) What's the matter? Speechless? Don't worry: I'll introduce for you. Say hello to the new and improved Parrotmon in his strongest form! You may refer to him as Eaglemon!
EAGLEMON screeches loudly. KEENAN and FALCOMON cover their ears. WIDE SHOT of the entire forest model area ZOOMS OUT to PUPPETMON.
PUPPETMON:
All right, listen and listen good. This is a game of survival where all the players must learn to play nice or they'll pay the price.
ANGLE on YOLEI and HAWKMON
HAWKMON:
This doesn't sound much like a fun game.
PUPPETMON:
(off-screen) Oh, don't worry. There will be some fun games like...capture the flag!
The battlefield under YOLEI, HAWKMON, WOODMON and CHERRYMON change into a sports field. A flagpole with a blue flag appears behind YOLEI. Another flagpole with a red pole appears behind CHERRYMON.
YOLEI:
What?!
PUPPETMON:
(off-screen) You probably know the objective: first team to capture the opposing flag wins.
YOLEI:
But, it's just me and Hawkmon! It's not even fair! Can we at least have some teammates for-?
PUPPETMON:
(off-screen) Quiet! It's my game, my rules!
YOLEI glares above and turns to the WOODMON. ANGLE on KEENAN and FALCOMON.
PUPPETMON:
(off-screen) Let's see...what to do with the boy and his pet bird?
KEENAN:
*growls* Bring on challenge! Any challenge!
PUPPETMON:
(off-screen) Any challenge?
KEENAN nods. ANGLE on PUPPETMON at his control panel.
PUPPETMON:
Okay, you've asked for it.
ANGLE on KEENAN and FALCOMON noticing the ground below starting to change color.
FALCOMON:
Keenan, the ground is changing color...
KEENAN:
...and warm.
PUPPETMON:
(off-screen) I would climb up a tree if I were you.
KEENAN:
Why?
FALCOMON:
Keenan!
Half of the ground was turning into lava.
KEENAN:
Whoa!
KEENAN and FALCOMON leap onto one of the tree branches.
KEENAN:
What happen?
PUPPETMON:
(off-screen) This is a game of "Hot Lava" but with actual lava!
FALCOMON:
Oh my!
PUPPETMON:
(off-screen) Instead of imagining lava, I thought real lava would spice things up! And since you love trees so much, I suggest you stay on them...or else! *laughs*
EAGLEMON flies over the trees and KEENAN stays focused in confidence. ANGLE on PUPPETMON over the forest model.
PUPPETMON:
Who will survive? Who will be victorious? Who will be game master?
ANGLE on YOLEI and HAWKMON facing the WOODMON as the scene splits up horizontally to KEENAN and FALCOMON facing at EAGLEMON.
PUPPETMON:
(off-screen) We'll all see! Let the game...BEGIN!
Scene CUTS to focus on YOLEI and HAWKMON as the WOODMON were charging at them.
YOLEI:
We'll show them who's got game! *takes out D-3* Digi-Armor Energize!
HAWKMON fuses with the power of the Digi-Love of Egg.
HAWKMON:
Hawkmon armor-digivolve to...
HALSEMON:
Halsemon, the Wings of Love!
YOLEI climbs onto HALSEMON as they both leap in to guard their team flag.
YOLEI:
You want this flag, then you have to go through us first!
CHERRYMON:
Don't let her words fool youse; grab the flag!
A couple of WOODMON were lunging towards HALSEMON.
WOODMON #1:
Branch Drill! *stretches its arm towards HALSEMON*
HALSEMON quickly slices it with one of his helmet wings. Another WOODMON lunges behind him but HALSEMON kicks it off.
HALSEMON:
Eagle Eye! *fires beams from his eyes*
The beams hit a couple of WOODMON which send them flying off the field. More WOODMON use their Branch Drill attacks.
HALSEMON:
Mach Impulse! *helmet releases blades of wind*
The blades slice off each arm of each WOODMON. YOLEI gets off HALSEMON.
YOLEI:
We can't hold them off together too long.
HALSEMON:
Good point. You try to sneak past Cherrymon and get their flag. I'll stay here and guard ours.
YOLEI:
I don't know, Halsemon. Sounds risky. ...But, I don't want to stay in this stupid model forever. *runs out in the field*
HALSEMON:
Good luck!
Some WOODMON were charging at YOLEI while she was running to the other side of the field. YOLEI dodges each WOODMON as she reaches closer.
YOLEI:
Almost there...
YOLEI was about to step over the line serperating the field, the earth of CHERRYMON's side starts rising into high plateaus.
YOLEI:
Huh?!
PUPPETMON:
(off-screen) Sorry my finger slipped...right after a certain someone called my model "stupid".
YOLEI groans in annoyance.
HALSEMON:
Ignore him, Yolei. You can do it!
YOLEI nods in response and starts climbing. Camera switches to KEENAN and FALCOMON (as RAVEMON) jumping from each tree after EAGLEMON with the lava burning one after the other. EAGLEMON swoops in and swipes its gray claws. RAVEMON clashes constantly clashes the claws with his sword.
KEENAN:
Keep fighting, Ravemon!
EAGLEMON:
Pheonix Ram! *charges at RAVEMON*
RAVEMON swifts to avoid the ramming. KEENAN leaps over to another tree as the previous tree was burned to the ground.
RAVEMON:
Spiral Raven Claw! *rotates claw in whirlwind/charges at speed*
RAVEMON drives his claw at EAGLEMON's armor but it doesn't receive a scratch.
RAVEMON:
Its armor isn't damaged!
KEENAN:
How Digimon stronger?
PUPPETMON:
(off-screen) Glad you mentioned it. Eaglemon is strong because his golden armor is made from Gold Digizoid which is completely invulnerable!
KEENAN:
?!
EAGLEMON screeches and tries to slash KEENAN with its talons. RAVEMON swoops in and holds his sword against the talons, thus protecting KEENAN.
RAVEMON:
I don't care...if your armor is indestructible...we will survive "Hot Lava"!
RAVEMON pushes EAGLEMON a little and constantly swings his sword. EAGLEMON defends himself against each attack.
RAVEMON:
Is that all you got?!
EAGLEMON:
...No.
RAVEMON:
?!
EAGLEMON:
*charges a ray from mouth* Mystic Break! *fires white ray from mouth*
The white ray completely destroyed some trees next to KEENAN.
KEENAN:
Ravemon, we keep going!
RAVEMON nods as the two continue jumping on trees while fighting EAGLEMON. Camera switches to YOLEI climbs on top of the lowest of the plateaus.
YOLEI:
Well, that's one...so far.
CHERRYMON:
(off-screen) Forget it, little lady.
LOW ANGLE SHOT of CHERRYMON on the highest plateau with the red flag.
CHERRYMON:
Without that bird of yours, you don't stand a chance capturing my flag.
YOLEI:
We'll see about that!
YOLEI continues climbing up.
CHERRYMON:
Cherry Blast! *fires cherries from his tree branches*
YOLEI swifts her hands to avoid each blast while climbing. HALSEMON stills fights off the WOODMON.
HALSEMON:
Hurry, Yolei!
YOLEI reaches up to the middle plateau and starts climbing to the highest plateau where CHERRYMON and the flag are.
CHERRYMON:
Oh no, you don't! *snaps fingers*
Vines suddenly appear from the plateau wall and start to grab YOLEI.
YOLEI:
Huh-?
HALSEMON:
Yolei!
A few WOODMON pile on HALSEMON. Camera switches to KEENAN and RAVEMON chasing EAGLEMON through each tree branch. RAVEMON constantly slashes against EAGLEMON's golden armor to find a weakness. CUT-IN SHOT of KEENAN suddenly slips one tree branch and falls.
RAVEMON:
Keenan!
KEENAN grabs on a tee branch for safety. HIGH ANGLE SHOT of KEENAN dangling for dear life with the lava flowing to the tree he's currently on. Scene splits into HEAD SHOTS to YOLEI and KEENAN in peril.
PUPPETMON:
(off-screen) Well, well, well. Looks like we're coming to close to the end, are we? The wild boy is about to fall under hot lava while four-eyes is going to lose their team flag. This is a fun game! *laughs manically*
Scene focuses on KEENAN as CUT-IN SHOT of the tree branch was about to break.
RAVEMON:
(off-screen) Keenan, think of a way out of this!
KEENAN looks up and notices EAGLEMON lunging in with the camera CLOSES IN the transparent puppet strings shown. EXTREME-CLOSE-UP SHOT of KEENA's widen eye.
KEENAN:
(I got it!)
KEENAN quickly takes out his boomerang and makes aim.
RAVEMON:
What are you doing, Keenan?!
KEENAN:
Watch out! *throws boomerang*
The boomerang flies past RAVEMON and breaks opens all of the puppet strings on EAGLEMON. The tree branch broke as KEENAN starts falling.
RAVEMON:
Keenan!
RAVEMON swoops down as the string-less and motionless EAGLEMON falls as well. Camera briefly switches to PUPPETMON pulling up his broken strings.
PUPPETMON:
What the?!
Camera switches back to RAVEMON saving KEENAN.
KEENAN:
Ravemon, throw me at Eaglemon!
RAVEMON:
Huh?
KEENAN:
Do now!
RAVEMON throws KEENAN onto the falling EAGLEMON. KEENAN uses all of his strength to pull the puppet strings hard.
KEENAN:
*grunts*
EAGLEMON stops falling and starts flying up as KEENAN gains complete control of EAGLEMON.
RAVEMON:
Oh my...
PUPPETMON:
(off-screen) What the heck did you just do, you little brat?!
KEENAN:
Cutted strings. Digimon under my control now.
PUPPETMON:
(off-screen) That's not fair!
KEENAN:
Come on, Ravemon!
RAVEMON hops aboard on EAGLEMON as they start flying higher in the sky. Camera quickly pans UP to PUPPETMON watching.
PUPPETMON:
Get your stinky hands off my toy! Huh?
KEENAN, RAVEMON were flying EAGLEMON towards PUPPETMON.
PUPPETMON:
What?!
KEENAN:
We must get shrinking gun!
PUPPETMON:
No!
EAGLEMON flies past PUPPETMON's face which made him accidentally drops his another control bar (controlling CHERRYMON). Camera switches to YOLEI noticing CHERRYMON stands motionless.
YOLEI:
What just...happened?
HALSEMON:
Yolei, grab the flag!
YOLEI nods, breaks herself free off the vines and climbs to the top of the highest plateau.
HALSEMON:
These Woodmon are getting on my nerves. Tempest Wing! *spins into a tornado*
The attack blows all the WOODMON away. Camera switches to KEENAN flying around PUPPETMON's face like a buzzing fly.
PUPPETMON:
*constantly tries to swat KEENAN* Quit buzzing over my face!
PUPPETMON grabs his control bar. Camera switches to YOLEI running to the flag. The controlled CHERRYMON senses YOLEI and grabs her by hair.
YOLEI:
Hey!
CHERRYMON:
Don't even think about it, missy!
HALSEMON:
(off-screen) Let go of here!
HALSEMON jumps onto the highest plateau and uses Tempest Wing which blows CHERRYMON in the air.
CHERRYMON:
Ahh!
HALSEMON:
Eagle Eye! *fires beams from eyes*
The beam hits and destroys CHERRYMON.
YOLEI:
All right! We...*grabs flag from flagpole* win!
Camera switches to PUPPETMON trying to catch KEENAN. RAVEMON spots the shrinking gun near the control panel.
RAVEMON:
Keenan, I see the shrinking gun! Turn to your left!
KEENAN:
Okay!
KEENAN steers EAGLEMON to the control panel. As they almost reach the shrinking gun, PUPPETMON gets a grip on EAGLEMON.
PUPPETMON:
Gotcha!
Suddenly, a beam hits PUPPETMON's head behind which loses EAGLEMON from the grip.
YOLEI:
*off-screen* I don't think so!
PUPPETMON turns as YOLEI and HALSEMON flies towards his face.
PUPPETMON:
You too?!
KEENAN flies EAGLEMON towards the shrinking gun.
RAVEMON:
Keenan, hit the reverse button!
KEENAN throws his boomerang at the reverse button which results the gun firing two blasts hitting KEENAN, RAVEMON, YOLEI and HALSEMON. PUPPETMON pauses in shock.
PUPPETMON:
*scared* This is not good.
A small explosion occurs which the flashes the scene. SCENE fades OUT to the Dark TV Room destroyed. Camera pans RIGHT to PUPPETMON hitted against the wall. PUPPETMON regains consciousness as a bunch of shadows covered him. YOLEI, HALSEMON, KEENAN and RAVEMON have returned to their normal size, glaring at him. PUPPETMON stares in shock and nervously chuckles.
YOLEI:
Game over, Puppetmon.
HALSEMON:
You lose...
RAVEMON:
...we win.
PUPPETMON:
...Um...
KEENAN:
Now our turn to play.
RAVEMON:
Let's play a game of tag...
YOLEI:
And we are it.
PUPPETMON:
Um...okay...Bye! *zips out of scene*
HALSEMON:
After him!
The four chase after PUPPETMON through a dark path with a light path. The five exit to reveal SCENE.
EXT. CHIP FOREST
YOLEI and KEENAN briefly look behind them. It reveals a dark cave in the middle of the forest.
YOLEI:
So Puppetmon was keeping us in a cave...
KEENAN:
...in real forest?
PUPPETMON:
Yeah and thanks to you, I got no secret hiding place anymore! You may have won this battle *holds hammer* but the war is still on! Puppet Pummel! *fires from revolver-like hammer*
HALSEMON and RAVEMON avoid the attack. PUPPETMON charges while holding the hammer. RAVEMON wields his sword and clashes with the hammer. RAVEMON blocks each blow with his sword. HALSEMON runs to attack PUPPETMON. PUPPETMON leaps away and throws his back wooden cross like a boomerang.
HALSEMON:
Tempest Wing! *spins into tornado*
The tornado blows the wooden cross back at PUPPETMON which hits his face.
PUPPETMON:
Why you...!
PUPPETMON slams his hammer to the ground which causes it to crack open the ground around RAVEMON and HALSEMON. They both quickly jump out of the open as RAVEMON lunges at PUPPETMON.
RAVEMON:
Spiral Raven Claw! *spins claw in whirlwind; charges*
RAVEMON's claw hits PUPPETMON which crashes him to a tree.
RAVEMON:
Tag...you're it.
KEENAN and RAVEMON leap away into the trees while YOLEI rides away on HALSEMON.
YOLEI:
Catch us if you can!
An infuriated PUPPETMON holds his hammer and gives chase.
PUPPETMON:
That's it! I'm whacking down every tree till I find you bozos!
PUPPETMON starts knocking down every tree in their chase. The four run as fast they could while PUPPETMON was close on their trail.
HALSEMON:
He's closing on!
KEENAN:
Quick, *points out* hide in giant-looking tree!
The four notice a gigantic tree in the middle of the forest.
YOLEI:
It's worth a try.
The four jump inside the branches of the tree. PUPPETMON stops at the trunk of the tree.
PUPPETMON:
A-ha! So, this is where you're hiding! Well, too bad! Game over for you! I win!
PUPPETMON swings his hammer. The four look nervous. PUPPETMON's hammer hits the trunk, but nothing happened.
PUPPETMON:
Huh?
PUPPETMON hits the trunk again but nothing happened. PUPEPTMON then rapidly hits the tree trunk but no luck.
PUPPETMON:
Hey, what kind of tree is this?!
Suddenly, the ground starts rumbling under PUPPETMON.
RAVEMON:
What's happening?!
The vibration was getting stroner as PUPPETMON tries to keep balance. The tree trunk suddenly started "moving". As the trunk was moving up, two reptilians heads were emerging from the ground along two pairs of legs and a tail. PUPPETMON lost his balance and became frightened.
? (1st Head):
*Irish accent* All right, who's the plonker that woke us up from our nap?
? (2nd Head):
*Scottish accent* Aye, everyone knows a Digimon needs his rest once in a while.
PUPPETMON:
S-s-sovereign?!
? (1st Head):
Why, it's that pesky Dark Master Puppetmon.
? (2nd Head):
Oh, you're really in for it, boy-o!
PUPPETMON nervously tries to back away.
PUPPETMON:
No, wait! You don't understand! I can explain-
The Digimon Sovereign stomps its foot. Miniature trees suddenly appear from the ground and wrap around PUPPETMON.
PUPPETMON:
No, please, stop! I'll be good! I promise!
? (1st HEAD):
It's too late for promises, laddie.
The Digimon stomped his foot again which causes an earthquake around PUPPETMON. PUPPETMON falls into the deep pit of the earthquake where several boulders start tumbling down. PUPPETMON then gets crushed by the boulders in defeat.
? (2nd Head):
Okay, lad and lassie. It's safe to come out now.
The four peep out of the tree branches.
KEENAN:
Huh?
YOLEI:
You knew we were hiding inside you?
? (1st Head):
Our ears are as strong as our height.
HALSEMON reverts back to HAWKMON and RAVEMON reverts back to FALCOMON.
HAWKMON:
Thank you for saving us, ol' wise Digimon.
FALCOMON:
Did you say you were a Sovereign?
EBONWUMON (1st Head):
Yes, we did. We are Ebonwumon.
EBONWUMON (2nd Head):
The oldest Sovereign of the North. We protect the forests and everything green.
YOLEI:
What were you doing here in this forest?
EBONWUMON (1st HEAD):
The other Sovereigns and us were in search for allies against the unknown threat.
EBONWUMON (2nd HEAD):
It took us a while to find someone in this age. So, we took a rest here.
EBONWUMON (1st HEAD):
But, now that you found us, our search is over.
KEENAN:
That quite story.
YOLEI:
I'm getting sick of forests. Do you two know a way out of here before my mind turns green?
EBONWUMON (2nd HEAD):
Aye, there's a different area up ahead. We'll take you there.
EBONWUMON (1st Head):
Who knows? Maybe we'll find some help there.
HAWKMON:
Oh, good. I was getting tired of leaping in the trees anyway.
FALCOMON:
I call top branch!
The four climb on top of Ebonwumon's tree.
EBONWUMON (2nd Head):
Welcome aboard, lads and lass. Make yourselves at homes.
EBONWUMON (1st Head):
You'll have a nice view on the way out.
EBONWUMON starts heading out of the forest.
