I could barely concentrate on school. I was thinking about meeting my biological parents and my brother, which was weird because I thought I only had an older sister. Oh course I know that's not true now.
I wonder if they will like me .Will they think I'm weird or... I was thinking before I was snapped back to reality by the ringing of the last bell. My used red Cadillac XLR was in my usual spot, near the middle of the lot. I seriously almost ran to my car. I fumbled to get my keys. When I finally got them out I got in my car and went the fastest I could go without getting pulled over.
When I got home my mom was rambling about how the house wasn't ready and I reassured her that it looked great. I went to my room to get ready before our guests showed up I got dressed into my favorite slouchy white stripy shirt and comfy jeans and put on my blue heels. I went to my jewelry box and picked out some silver jewelry. As I put my second hoop in, I heard the door bell ring. I literally bounded down the stairs to see my mom letting in our guests. A woman I assumed to be my mother as she looked like an older version of me. And a man who looked like he had seen a ghost
"Diana…." She said looking as if she was about to cry
"Hi" I walked up to her and hugged her
"I'm Johannah, and this is my husband Mark. Our son is on his way he had to go to the grocery store to get some…. Carrots?" Johannah said rolling her eyes and shaking her head. The man that Johannah called Mark did a face palm. I had to admit it was pretty funny.
"It's great to meet you guys." My mom said smiling sincerely. I'm still going to call Sarah my mom as I had grown up with her being just that.
There was a knock at the door and I said "I'll get it" anticipating it would be my brother. It was. We met eyes and then I realized there were four other eyes on us.
"Hello I'm Diana" after I said that I was engulfed in a very large bear hug. "Can't. Breathe." I said "oh sorry. I'm Louis" my brother said when he finally release me. I smiled sweetly and invited them in.
As they came in my eyes widened as I realized who I had just let into my house.
Wait, is this legit, no I have to be dreaming I thought then I pinched myself. And I turned out I wasn't. So this is real.
