Chapter 5

Sarah Jane couldn't think. She didn't know what to do now. Was there any way to save Cerise Hood and Ruby White?

Apple glared at her. "At least now you and Ruby will not get a happily ever aft-"

"Sarah Jane!" Daring yelled. "Look at this!" Sarah Jane ran over where the potion book lay open on the page Apple used. Daring read it out. "Warning: Curse could only be lifted if victims are woken by a true love's kiss."

"There is a way to lift it!" Sarah Jane cried. Daring smiled at her.

"See, I told you that we will find a way." Sarah Jane nodded as she and Daring walked on. The others stayed behind to fight Apple. Blondie was following Sarah Jane and Daring in case they came to any locks.

Soon, they came across some coffins deep within the cave. Daring tried to open one of them, but it was locked. "Now what?" He asked himself. He looked through the glass to see Cerise. It looked like she was sleeping peacefully. Sarah Jane looked into the other coffin, where Ruby lay. She tried to unlock the lock, but it didn't work. As they began to give up hope, Blondie arrived. "I have got a thing with locks," she said as she unlocked them. Daring and Sarah Jane opened the lids.

Everyone else hurried in to see what was going on. Sarah Jane knelt down and bent over Ruby. Daring and Cerise was already kissing. Sarah Jane leaned forward and kissed Ruby, hoping that it would work.

It did. Ruby awoke. "What happened?" she asked.

"Apple put you under a spell," Sarah Jane replied. "Don't worry, it is all over now."

They all turned to find that Apple had hand cuffs on. Headmaster Grimm dragged her away to the police. When he returned, everyone asked what was going to happen to Apple. "She is going to be locked up in mirror prison for eternity. She will never get out." Everyone cheered.

Later that night, everyone fell asleep. Everyone except for Cerise, Daring, Ruby and Sarah Jane. Daring and Cerise were in the common room, trying to work out what to do next.

"I think we should hold a party," Cerise told him. Daring nodded.

"We can get Ashlynn to model some of her dresses," he suggested.

"That is a really good idea," Cerise replied as she wrote it down.

Sarah Jane and Ruby were just outside the room.

"I can't believe what we had to go through," Ruby said. Sarah Jane nodded.

"When you were taken from me, it felt like I would never feel complete again."

"When was the wedding again? When was it planned for?"

"Don't you remember?" Sarah Jane asked Ruby. "It's tomorrow."

"Oh, I nearly forgot. Have we got everything?"

"Um… we got the cake ordered. Ginger said that she made it yesterday. Have you got the flowers?"

"Yes, Ashlynn gathered them together with help from the woodland creatures." Sarah Jane smiled as she lowered her head onto Ruby's shoulder. Ruby hugged her close, not wanting to let her go. "It is only until tomorrow until we are together for forever after," Ruby whispered.
