Chapter 6- THE MARRIAGE!
The bells rang early that morning. Ruby was camping out in Cerise's and Cedar's room as Sarah Jane would not let her in. She said that she would not want any bad luck that day. However, Ruby said that Katesh didn't really believe in that sort of nonsense, however, she did as she was told and slept with Cerise and Cedar.
Once they were all up, they began making preparations for the wedding. Ashlynn was helping fix Sarah Jane's hair when Raven came in to say that there was only half an hour until the wedding. Sarah Jane smiled as she looked at a photograph of her and Ruby that was taken on Earth a few days back. Everything sped up so fast, and now they were getting married.
Ruby was getting ready when Raven walked in to say that there was only twenty minutes left. "Besides," Raven told her. "You need to be at the church before Sarah Jane."
Cerise helped style Ruby's hair before they went to the church.
"So," Clyde asked Ruby. "Is it just you and Amber in your family?"
"No," Ruby replied. "There is also my younger brother, Mark. He is over there." Ruby pointed to a brown haired young man who looked about twenty one. Mark spotted them and walked over.
"Hey Ruby," he said. "It's been ages since I last met you."
"Same here," Ruby replied. "How are things going?"
"They are going well, other than Amber is trying to get back to our home world."
"What?" Ruby cried. "She can't be! All three of us got exiled. We can't go back!"
"Well, that's what I heard," Mark replied.
"But it can't be true," Ruby said. "After we defeated her, Apple said that she wasn't going to try anything silly again."
"But Apple had been working against us the whole time," Clyde pointed out. Ruby nodded.
"She's in mirror prison at the moment. She won't get out again."
Luke then walked over. "Hello everyone," he began. "Thank you for coming. The wedding is about to start so if you would like to go through." Everyone walked in except Luke, who waited for Sarah Jane and Cerise to turn up.
"What is going on after the wedding?" Rani asked Ruby.
"After is a surprise," Ruby replied. "All I am going to say is that we will be going on an alien planet. I know Sarah Jane will enjoy it."
"I hope she does," Rani replied.
A white car turned up outside. Luke walked over to it and opened the door. Sarah Jane stepped out. She was wearing a white dress and her hair was still down, but Ashlynn had placed a flower crown on her head. Cerise climbed out after her. She was wearing a red dress that reached to her knees. She also wore black shoes. "Wow," Luke whispered. "You look amazing."
"Thank you," Cerise replied. "You do as well, Luke."
"Come on," Sarah Jane said. "We do not want to hold up the wedding." Luke held his arm out and Sarah Jane took it. As they wandered in, Cerise thought she heard the TARDIS. She shook her head and followed them.
When they were inside, Sarah Jane held Ruby's hand. They were both feeling nervous, but they wanted to take that risk.
"We are gathered here today to witness the marriage of Sarah Jane Smith and Ruby Anne White." Headmaster Grimm began. "In each other's company they have happiness, fulfilment and love, and they wish to affirm their relationship with this marriage. Now, I have to ask this question. If any persons can show just cause a pediment why they may not be joined together, let them speak now, or forever hold their peace."
No one answered this, so the wedding continued.
"Ruby," Headmaster Grimm began. "Do you take Sarah Jane as your lawfully wedded wife?"
"I do," Ruby replied.
"Sarah Jane," Headmaster Grimm continued. "Do you take Ruby as your lawfully wedded wife?"
"I do," Sarah Jane replied.
"In that case, I pronounce you are now together." He said. Sarah Jane and Ruby leaned forward and kissed.
After the wedding, Headmaster Grimm began announcing the awards.
"Most co-operative, Madeline Hatter!"
Madeline walked on stage to collect her prize, which were some new teacups. She was wearing a dress that had a blue bodice and a light green skirt which reached down to her knees. Her shoes were gold. Everyone applauded. It was well known that she worked well with Sarah Jane.
"Most alien, Ruby White!"
All of the Rebels cheered as Ruby walked on. She wore a long red dress that reached to the floor. Her hair was down, but she wore a red rose crown. She accepted her prize, which was a bow. Ruby smiled. She had told Cerise that it was always her dream to try out archery. It seemed like Cerise told her. Ruby took her place beside Maddie.

Everyone applauded as Maria walked on stage. She was wearing a short blue dress, purple tights, a pink cardigan and black trainers. Her prize was a new alien artefact. All of the contestants (except Apple, who was locked away in mirror prison) lined up, wondering who won. Was it Sarah Jane and Maddie or Ruby and Cerise?
"I have the winners here," Melody began. "The winners of Best Team Mates Ever After are…"
Everyone waited in silence.
"Cerise Hood and Ruby White!"
Everyone applauded as Cerise and Ruby walked forward. "Thank you Ever after," they both chorused. "These few weeks have been fun and we would not have got here without your support. Thank you."
Later that evening, there was a knock on Cerise's door. Cedar went to get it.
"Hello Cedar," Daring said. "Is it all right if we talk to Cerise alone?"
"Of course," Cedar replied. "I was about to go and meet Raven and Maddie anyway."
When Cedar left, Daring, Sarah Jane and Ruby walked in.
"Is something wrong?" Cerise asked.
"No, nothing's wrong," Daring replied. "Cerise, I love you."
"Good," Cerise whispered. "Because, the strange thing is, I love you, too."
Sarah Jane smiled and Ruby looked at her. 'Sarah Jane looks really happy.' She thought to herself. The truth was, whenever Sarah Jane was happy, so was she.
"We have found something interesting in our office," Sarah Jane said. "Do you two want to come and have a look?" Daring and Cerise nodded as they followed them into the hallway.
In Sarah Jane's and Ruby's office, Ruby pulled as sheet off of something. It looked a lot like a mirror.
"What is it?" Cerise asked.
"It seems to be a portal," Sarah Jane replied.
"We do not know what is on the other side, however," Ruby added, quickly.
"Shall we go through?" Daring asked. Sarah Jane and Ruby nodded. Together, all four of them leapt into the portal and came out on the other side.
"Where are we?" Daring asked. Ruby went pale.
"We are at Fortuna. It's the home of the Katesh."
"Come on. Let's have a look around!" Daring cried.
"No!" Sarah Jane cried. "It's too dangerous!" However, Daring and Cerise have already run off.
"Come back!" Ruby called as she and Sarah Jane ran after them.
